What is happening in the Middle East today does not fit the prophecies of the Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38, 39 war. This is important in Bible prophecy because there will soon be a huge surplus of men of military age with no chance for a normal life. Ever since the 80′s China has been birthing a huge surplus of men. If they end the unbalance by 2010 like they have stated before. That generation will span from 1980 until about 2010 or 30 years. The last born of this surplus generation of men will be of military age by 2025 while the first of the generation will be still be young enough to be capable of fighting. This peak generation of disposable men will occur in the years between 2025-2035. Revelation talks about an army out of the East that will have 200 million men that was born for a specific time. The surplus men in 2025-2035 from China will be more than 100 million and they will be joined by other nations like India who also have surplus men to make up that unique army of 200 million men that was born for destruction.

Some of what he says here may be true in America but it certainly is not true in China. There is a place for the house Church and there is a place for larger churches. If so many people are starting house churches because they are angry at their traditional church you might ask why that is? Let’s face it, many are tired of playing church a few hours a week and only getting the seeker friendly fluff or emerging mysticism that is now found in most large churches.
Others get tired of paying for the bigger and bigger entertainment centers that they meet in once or twice a week. Having said all that, you do make some good points.
My own main concern with home churches is that there will be few qualified to teach others the Bible. They are likely to depart into some heretical viewpoints. Many people think all you need is a Bible and everyone will understand enlightened truths by reading the words of some Bible version. However, that is not true, you need good teachers to explain what the Bible teaches in the light of all scripture and other God given gifted teachers in the Church. Read more...

Hal Lindsey has it correct. Syria will miscalculate one day soon. Damascus is the oldest continually occupied city in the world. The prophecy that Damascus will be destroyed must still be fulfilled (Isa 17:1-3). Nothing short of several hydrogen bombs, or an asteroid hitting the city could accomplish that prophecy today.
