Gog will be a nuclear guard for Iran

No Gravatar

I believe Hal Lindsey will be correct that Russia will now actively seek to regain its former empire. It might not be all the same nations of the former USSR at least at first. But Russia will intimidate the nations of Eastern Europe to join a regional alignment of states to counter the West. Especially if the West is mired in the economic and Islamic caused turmoil that looks almost certain to come. These Eastern nations were not in the original Roman Empire and they will not be in the revived.

My advice to the U.S. and Israel is not to wait too long to take out Iran’s nuclear capabilities because within a very short time Iran will be protected under a Russian nuclear umbrella (thou hast been to them for a guard., Ez 38:7, YLT) and then we will not be able to take them out without a nuclear war with Russia. The cold war between East and West is coming back fast. If NATO can claim that an attack on any of their alliance of states is an attack on them all, then Russia feels it can and will do the same with the nations in their sphere of influence.

Right now the U.S. can delay a nuclear Iran by 10 to 20 years by almost complete destruction of Iran’s nuclear and missile facilities. Israel cannot do this alone. The most Israel can do is set them back is a few years and there will not be any second chance because of the Russian umbrella that is about to open. If we get a weak president like Obama you will see Russia open this nuclear umbrella near the start of his term. If McCain gets elected they might not risk it just yet.

Oh, my Gog! (Hal Lindsey)

When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, most of these republics broke with Russia to form new alliances with NATO and the West – an event for which I was widely ridiculed at the time.

How could most of Magog, like Ukraine, Georgia and Turkey, all firmly allied with the West, also be part of Russia’s Gog alliance?

I didn’t know. But I didn’t pen Ezekiel’s prophecy. I only reported it.

Now, Gog has evidently decided to reclaim its former Soviet empire, starting with Magog. Despite weeks of promising to withdraw almost any minute, the Russian military continues to dig in and consolidate its forces in and near the Georgian port of Poti on the Black Sea.

The Russians introduced tight restrictions of movement on Georgian citizens, refusing to accept anything except Russian documents. Despite agreements to the contrary, the Kremlin now says that “Russian forces will leave in their own time.”

When Poland was contemplating an agreement that would allow the U.S. to deploy missile interceptor batteries in its territory, Russia warned them that by entering the treaty agreement they ran the risk of a Russian nuclear attack. When the Poles signed the treaty in defiance of the Kremlin, Russia promised its response would “rise above the level of diplomacy,” a reference to the principle that “war is the result of failed diplomacy.”

The Russian invasion and apparent occupation of Georgia is feared by many analysts, particularly those from former Soviet republics, that Vladimir Putin plans to re-conquer and restore the former empire.

Well known Christian figures often speak out of their hind end. They do not speak for Christianity.

No Gravatar

I think it high time Christians realize that heads of Christian institutions do not speak for Christianity especially in these last days of moral and spiritual relativism. They speak for some people in their various denominations, organizations and movements which is quite different than speaking for the Body of Christ. Most of their members and followers never became part of that Body of Christ or they would not be appointing apostate people into leadership. Most of the statements we hear from some of these postmodern leaders are simply anti Christ.

Ninety percent of the who’s who’s list of Christianity do not speak for me on biblical issues either. No more than the religious leaders of ancient Israel that Jesus condemned spoke for the true Jews who found Jesus to be the Messiah. The leaders led the cry to crucify Him.

There is a great move toward religious pluralism today where all in the world worship the same God without ever coming through Jesus Christ God’s Son. It cannot be done. If that offends Muslims or anyone else tough; it is the absolute truth. That is the foundation of the Christian belief it cannot be compromised. We know that their is no salvation outside of Jesus because Jesus was the Creator. Only through Jesus Christ can anyone ever have a family relationship with God. That is why God came to earth, so that those who would recognize Him and accept Him as their Savior for their sins would be saved into His new creation.

Those that join in this ongoing religious harlotry will only bring in the Antichrist, a counterfeit god. They want religion to unite mankind on pluralism because they never understood or accepted that man is evil and has to become a new spiritual creature through being born of the Spirit by God’s Son. Instead, they think if we all water down our religious beliefs that it will promote world peace and brotherhood. Truth cannot be watered down or it becomes a lie.

They have no clue that out of a evil heart of unregenerate man hate, strife, and wars happen and that hearts cannot change without being born into the Body of Christ. They do not understand that those who reject Jesus Christ are not our brothers, they are the enemies of the cross. They have a different family and a different father.

Someone ought to tell the Muslims that people like the Archbishop are just talking out of their hind end. They do not speak for true Christians at all, although they may speak for phony Christians. Don’t confuse the two.

Archbishop of apostasy -Hal Lindsey

No doubt I was not the only one left with his mouth gaping open when I read that the archbishop of Canterbury, the head of the worldwide Anglican Church, proclaimed, “Christian doctrine is offense to Muslims.”

The archbishop of Canterbury is the spiritual head of one of the oldest mainstream Christian denominations of the Reformation and as such, a defender of the faith.

Except, evidently, where it offends Muslims.

Not only did the archbishop apologize to Islam for Christianity, he turned history on its head in the same document, accusing Christianity of “being promoted at the point of a sword.”

I found this to be the most profoundly disturbing comment of all. Surely, the archbishop of Canterbury, of all people, knows that is impossible.

Christianity is not a political system. It isn’t a church denomination. Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, independent of any church membership.

One cannot be forced at the point of a sword to enter into a relationship of faith. To argue that it is not only possible, but part of the heritage of the Church of Jesus Christ reveals a stunning lack of understanding of what Christianity is.

You cannot make someone believe – either at the point of a sword or in exchange for a kingdom.

The Apostle Paul predicted that, just before the time of the end, a great apostasy would come upon Christendom. “But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron” (1 Timothy 4:1-2 ASV).

When someone can rise to the post as head of one of the largest denominations in Christianity without understanding the most basic elements of salvation, one can truly say that the apostasia has arrived.

Anyone know of any positive contributions the Palestinians have made in the world?

No Gravatar

Hal Lindsey tried to find positive contributions to the world that came from the Palestinians that now demand their own state. Hal used the Internet to search for them but he says he has not found any. I know of none myself. do you know of any? Even one?

Palestinian contributions to the world

The Palestinians, according to the U.N., deserve statehood based on the presumption that they are a cohesive people who are stateless – rather than a mob who live outside any national jurisdiction as the result of the Israeli victory in the Six Day’s War.

So, if anybody actually can list a few positive Palestinian contributions to the world – ever – in the history of the Palestinian people, drop me a line.

Google hasn’t been much help.

Will Israel hit Iran’s reactor before it goes on line this September?

No Gravatar

Hal Lindsey expects a Middle East War against Israel this September. I certainly would not rule that out. Peace talks have a way of falling apart because the terrorists do not want peace and they sabotage any deal. Hal thinks Israel will hit Iran before they fire up their reactor. I would think that if they are going to hit the reactor they will do it before nuclear material is in the reactor. That would make a September date kind of late if they want to prevent nuclear fall out on civilians. So I do not think Israel will do anything about their reactor going online. Of course once a war starts for some other reason anything can happen. Israel will also not do anything without informing the U.S. and we are not going to allow a war to start without having at least 3 carrier groups in the area. So when you see ship movements to that end a strike against Iran is much more likely. I think a war is likely soon but I am not sure the timing is known to anyone right now.

The September War

It is worth remembering that it was the Persians who invented chess, and Ahmadinejad seems to be controlling all the pieces. In the first place, Ahmadinejad knows that Israel will attack its reactor the moment that they take it on line. He’s been arming and training Hamas to serve as its proxy in the event of war, to harass the IDF on its flanks. To the north in Lebanon, Ahmadinejad has succeeded in rearming and re-equipping Hezbollah since the Lebanon War in 2006. The Mossad estimates Hezbollah is stronger now than it was before Israel invaded. Hezbollah has succeeded, for all intents and purposes, in taking over the Lebanese government.

Hamas controls all of the Gaza Strip. Mahmoud Abbas’ Palestinian Authority barely has a handle on the West Bank – and in any event, would turn on Israel the second the opportunity presented itself.

Syria’s insistence on the return of the Golan Heights as a precondition for peace is a Trojan Horse – particularly considering the timing. It was only last September that Israel destroyed a Syrian nuclear reactor that was only weeks from being operational. Syria has built one of the most formidable arsenals of missiles and rockets in the region, all of them aimed at Israel. From the Golan Heights, Syria would control much of northern Israel, as it did prior to losing the Golan to Israel in the Six Days War.

Israel is therefore surrounded with Hezbollah and Syria to the north, Hamas on both flanks, with al-Qaida sympathizers flooding in through Egypt and Jordan. Everything is in place for war except the pretext to start things off.

Starting up a nuclear reactor will do nicely.

The time of Jacob’s trouble and then the birth of the kingdom

No Gravatar

Since Hal Lindsey has been saying this for forty years now it has been false labor pains. Yet, today stresses in the earth do seem to be increasing and wars and famines are certainly on the horizon. So it looks like it won’t be long now to the time of Jacob’s trouble and the birth of the promised kingdom.

Last-days ‘birth pains’ have begun

Jesus used a Greek word for the labor pains of a woman about to give birth. Jesus knew that every generation could understand the illustration. His meaning is clear. Just as a woman experiences birth pains that increase in frequency and intensity just before giving birth, so ALL the signs of His return would increase in frequency and intensity just before His return. Hey, for he first time in history, all of the signs have appeared together in the same time frame and are increasing in frequency and intensity. That, coupled with the fulfillment of the great predicted sign that Israel became a nation again after 2,000 hopeless years of worldwide dispersion, indicates that Jesus Christ is already at the door ready to return. Are you ready?

Are the same errors as in the days of Noah upon us?

No Gravatar

Hal LIndsey sees a connection between the corruption of all flesh in the days of Noah and the genetic engineering of species today. So do I. Jesus did not say it would be like in the days of Noah for nothing. God will not allow man to corrupt His creation with chimeras, clones and transhumanism. Read Hal’s article and also see my article on a related subject of Aliens.

clipped from worldnetdaily.com
According to Genesis 6:1-6, the “sons of God” intermarried with “the
daughters of men” and produced offspring that Genesis calls “giants” and “mighty
men of renown.” Genesis 6:9 records that Noah was found to be a “just” man and
perfect in his generations,” i.e., untainted by the hybrid genes
introduced into the human bloodline. Genesis 6:12 says that by this time, “all
flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”

God saved Noah and his family alive and destroyed the hybrid population by
sending the Flood.

When asked by His disciples to outline the signs of His return at the end of
the age, Jesus told them, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be
also in the days of the Son of man” (Luke 17:26).

The children schooled by Arafat will not have peace with Israel

No Gravatar

Hal Lindsey makes the case that peace between Israel and the Palestinians can not happen before 2050AD because of the brainwashing of a whole generation of children by Arafat.

While what Hal says is true I think peace can and will be forced on the Palestinians by outside powers. Even Hal believes that there will be a pseudo peace enforced by the Antichrist long before 2050AD but it is also obvious from what Hal says about the hatred in the Palestinians and in other Arab nations that any peace will not hold for very long.

A Palestinian child who started in a PA school in 1993 is now in his mid-teens. Based on the American experience with prejudice, if the PA stopped anti-Israeli incitement today, it would take at least until about 2050 for the Palestinians, as a people, to achieve a minimum level of racial tolerance. And as I said, their kind of prejudice exceeds anything we understand. Yet President Bush is demanding that this happen by the end of this year.

No matter whether his time table is being pushed by a lust for a legacy, Saudi backroom threats of OPEC restricting U.S. oil allotments, or both - It ain’t gonna happen!

Is there a secret deal with Iran?

No Gravatar

I don’t think I buy Hal Lindsey’s conjecture but you might find it interesting.

clipped from www.worldnetdaily.com

As I wrote then: “There is but one alternative explanation. Either some kind
of a U.S. deal with Iran has already been struck, or one is so close that
maintaining the coalition is no longer deemed necessary.”

The column also pointed out, “Virtually any kind of deal with Iran seems to
be in Washington’s interests.”

New evidence continues to support that conclusion. Whatever back-room deal
may have been struck, it appears that it has begun to pay dividends already

Zechariah’s and Hal Lindsey’s warning to Bush and Condi

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Zechariah’s warning to Bush and Condi
These are the exact conditions Zechariah predicted would be part of the last stages of this age. He continues, “And it shall happen in that day that I WILL make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for ALL PEOPLES. …” – meaning the entire world. Now here’s the punch line: “ALL who would seek to heave it away will surely be cut in pieces.” The original Hebrew makes the meaning of this even clearer. It reveals that everyone who tries to remove the heavy burden of the Jerusalem crisis will be utterly destroyed for getting involved with it. Isaac and Ishmael’s fight over possession of Jerusalem has drawn the whole world into it – just as the prophets predicted. It is the culmination of Ishmael’s 4,000-year-old hatred of his half-brother Isaac, the forefather of the Israelites.

I pray that somehow this message will get through to President Bush and Secretary Rice. This prophecy applies to this very moment in which we live. And in light of what they are forcing on Israel, it applies to them personally.
While Bush and Rice strive to create legacies for themselves – just as most presidents have tried to do with the Middle East conflict for the last 40 years – they not only endanger themselves, but also endanger this nation with the divine curse promised above. Mr. President, there is nothing on this earth worth what you are doing. In the power of God’s Spirit, I warn them both, “Stop, before it’s too late!”

Bush and Rice have no knowledge of the prophetic significance of what is going on in the Middle East. Bush displayed that he does not even have understanding of Christianity with his all religions pray to the same God statements. That is what they must of taught him in his 12 step program. He did not learn that from any Christian teaching. I also wonder why lately we tend to make unmarried woman our Secretary of State? This reflects a feminizing of our State Department and foreign policy. They now think like leftists who believe all world problems can be achieved through compromise and appeasement.

This problem can’t be solved by man. All who try to make this work of God conform to the peace delusions of the world will be crushed. As a nation we had better butt out of the descendants of Ishmael’s feud with the descendants of Israel while we still have a butt left. God has already determined how this feud will play out. What is not fully determined is who will be arrogant enough to try to force their own solution to this Middle East feud. Unfortunately, like Fox of Mexico indicated, Bush seems to be that kind of man.

‘Make peace with us – or we’ll kill you!’

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: ‘Make peace with us – or we’ll kill you!’ Hal Lindsey,

The mainstream media embraced the letter as vindication of their long-held but difficult to believe faith in the existence of a vast, moderate Islamic majority that follow the kinder, gentler Islam that we keep hearing about, but for which we see little evidence. That is one way of interpreting it, if you really squint hard.

Unfortunately, there are verses in the Quran that nobody wants to talk about – probably because nobody wants to consider the awful implications of their meaning.

The ignorance of our political leaders and the media concerning Islam’s true beliefs is beyond deplorable; it is more in the range of criminal negligence in time of war.

Under Islamic law, before Islam can make war against the infidel with Allah’s blessings, the infidels must first be offered an opportunity to submit to Islam. Osama bin Laden has just recently asked the leaders and people of the United States to embrace Islam. So has Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. All these letters offer the West the “opportunity” to submit to Allah as being equal to God. They also warn that, should their offer be rebuffed, “The very survival of the world is at stake.”

Islam just finished the feast of Ramadan. Here is what the Quran says should be the attitude of all Muslims at the end of this sacred feast season: “So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters [particularly Jews and Christians] wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush. …” (Quran, Surah 9.5)

The irony of our leaders’ and media’s response is mind-boggling. This is not an offer of peace – it is a prelude to war. In the cold light of day it means, “Make peace with Islam and Allah, or we’ll kill you.”

Hal Lindsey is probably correct. This might be the last warning before they give their blessing to carry out WMD attacks against the West. Then after the attacks and counterattacks they will repeat the same thing and the Liberals will make them out to be the peacemakers.

Gaza’s place in Bible’s prophecies, by Hal Lindsey

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Gaza’s place in Bible’s prophecies: “Israel is an ally to every nation fighting the war on Islamic terror. Those same allied nations are advancing a policy of granting statehood to terrorists sworn to the destruction of that ally … never mind. The more I try to explain it, the crazier it sounds. And that’s the point. This is exactly the scenario outlined by the Hebrew prophets as signs of the soon coming of Israel’s Messiah.

The prophet Zechariah predicted the whole world would be united against Israel over the Jerusalem Question (Zechariah 12:1-3); the prophet Daniel (Daniel 9:27) predicted an agreement that seemingly settles the Temple Mount Question; and the prophet Ezekiel predicts that, in the end, Israel will still face a massive Islamic invasion reluctantly overseen by Russia and led by Persia (Iran) (Ezekiel 38:5).

Think about this for a second. Since it is absolutely illogical, and yet it is also exactly the situation we find ourselves witnessing, do you really believe it was all just a really good guess? “

Nice point, Hal. It could not happen if people were sane but they are delusional so their own delusions will make them fulfill Bible prophecy. The prophets foretold all this but few are sane enough to believe them, including the leaders of Israel.

Maybe Ariel Sharon will wake up sane after seven years. Wouldn’t that be icing on the prophetic cake?

Prophesied destruction of Damascus imminent? by Hal Lindsey

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Prophesied destruction of Damascus imminent?: “To Ahmadinejad’s way of thinking, if somebody has to be martyred to the Mahdi’s cause, why not Syria? Twenty-five hundred odd years ago, the Hebrew prophet Isaiah prophesied of the destruction of Damascus. This prophecy is made more fascinating by the fact it remains unfulfilled in history. Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city on earth. Although conquered many times, its status as an economic and cultural center of antiquity preserved it intact to this day. But Isaiah predicted Damascus would one day face utter destruction: ‘Behold, Damascus is about to be removed from being a city and it will become a fallen ruin,’ he writes in Isaiah 17:1.”

“Bible prophecy doesn’t make allowances for a full-scale unconventional war of annihilation of Israel by Iran, however. Ezekiel predicts Iran’s participation of the Gog-Magog invasion as part of a Russian-led alliance, not a regional alliance with Syria. Both Iran and Israel are listed as participants in that future conflict.
But Syria isn’t.
Syria isn’t numbered among any of the various protagonists prophesied to participate in the conflicts of the last days.”

I think Hal is correct. Syria will be wiped out in the war on Islamofascism. Then the moderates will ascend to power in the Islamic nations and there will be a period of peace with Israel. Then Iraq and Israel will become the economic hubs of the Middle East. Later Gog (Russia) comes down against Israel that is resting in peace and many Islamic nations join with him but not Iraq. These forces are defeated by God. Iraq then becomes the center point of Babylon the Great of Revelation and the Middle East.

Hal Lindsey: Jesus – king of hate?

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Jesus – king of hate?: “Christians especially have become aware of what is written in the Quran and are beginning to speak out. If ever a basic holy book promoted hate, certain verses in the Quran do. Yet the Christians are the ones being labeled ‘hate mongers.’ Jesus predicted that the hate against Christians would be irrational, because it is supernaturally inspired. This all fits into the scenario Jesus and the Prophets predicted would happen in the last days. Jesus said that shortly before His return,

‘They will deliver you up to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of My name. ‘ All around us, we are seeing what He predicted: ‘If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master. ‘ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.’

“The world is now falsifying the meaning of Christianity to justify its hatred of Jesus Christ and His followers. Jesus explained why:

‘And this is the basis of judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed’ (John 3:19). ”

Like déjà vu all over again

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Like déjà vu all over again: “In 1978, an Israeli politician wrote, ‘The establishment of such a [Palestinian] state means the inflow of combat-ready Palestinian forces (more than 25,800 men under arms) into Judea and Samaria; this force, together with the local youth, will double itself in a short time. It will not be short of weapons or other [military] equipment, and in a short space of time, an infrastructure for waging war will be set up in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip. Israel will have problems in preserving day-to-day security, which may drive the country into war or undermine the morale of its citizens. In time of war, the frontiers of the Palestinian state will constitute an excellent staging point for mobile forces to mount attacks on infrastructure installations vital for Israel’s existence, to impede the freedom of action of the Israeli air-force in the skies over Israel, and to cause bloodshed among the population. In areas adjacent to the frontier-line.’ The author’s understanding of the situation 30 years ago made him sound almost prophetic. He outlined, in precise detail, exactly the result of the policies that Peres policies have achieved so far.

But that prophet from 1978 was Shimon Peres himself, writing in his book, ‘Tomorrow is Now.’ Peres should read it. He might learn something. ”

Prophecies of Daniel: Why they point to us, by Hal Lindsey

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: Prophecies of Daniel: Why they point to us: “When Daniel emerged from the vision, the angel instructed him, ‘But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.’ “

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Many run “to and fro,” knowledge is increasing at an exponential rate, and more books have been written about the prophet Daniel in this generation than in the last 2,500 years combined.

What is that telling you?

I am rapidly falling behind?

The Samson Option, Hal Lindsey

No Gravatar

WorldNetDaily: The Samson Option “Syria is also known to be producing non-conventional warheads, including those containing V-X gas for delivery via the new longer range and more accurate Scuds. All Israel’s cities are within range of these missiles. Most of them can be reached in less than three minutes. Syria is gambling that Israel’s performance in the Hezbollah war of June 2006 means that it has seen all Israel has to offer.

Apparently, Bashar Assad now believes Israel can be beaten. Assad is miscalculating. In the event Syria launches a gas attack on Israel, it’s a virtual certainty that Damascus would be instantly obliterated by Israeli nuclear weapons.

The thought of being gassed evokes a visceral response among Israel’s Holocaust survivors and their descendants that Damascus wildly underestimates. Israel has more than 400 nuclear weapons in hidden silos in various places within its borders, as well as at least two submarines in the Mediterranean that are launch capable. And you can be certain that in the event of a massive WMD attack by the Syrians, Israel will respond in kind”

Hal Lindsey has it correct. Syria will miscalculate one day soon. Damascus is the oldest continually occupied city in the world. The prophecy that Damascus will be destroyed must still be fulfilled (Isa 17:1-3). Nothing short of several hydrogen bombs, or an asteroid hitting the city could accomplish that prophecy today. The prophecy implies that much of the Syrian population will be wiped out in the event because it only speaks of a remnant of Syria afterward.

Hal Lindsay back on TBN

No Gravatar

Hal Lindsey, ‘untied’ — back on the air at TBN (OneNewsNow.com): “After 12 years on TBN, Hal Lindsey was dropped from the lineup for the Christian network ostensibly for being too critical of Islam. Now, a little more than a year later, the best-selling author is back on TBN with a weekly half-hour program he promises will present world news relevant to end time Bible prophecy”

Lindsey, author of the bestseller The Late, Great Planet Earth, hosted “The International Intelligence Briefing” on TBN for more than 12 years until the program was pulled from the network’s lineup in December 2005. At the time, network officials said the program was pulled because it did not reflect a Christmas theme. However, it was alleged that TBN was concerned over Lindsey’s harsh critiques of the Muslim faith. In fact, a spokesman for the network told AgapePress at the time that network founder Paul Crouch believed one of Lindsey’s programs toward the end of the previous month was “inflammatory towards Islam and towards the Muslims.”

“Now the Christian network has brought Lindsey back with a weekly half-hour news and commentary program that it says will cover “current events, national, and international news from a biblical and prophecy-based perspective.” In a TBN press release, Lindsey assures viewers that “The Hal Lindsey Report” (Fridays, 5:30 p.m. PST) is a “hard-hitting, informative, and inspirational” program.”

The key to last days prophecy

No Gravatar

Hal Lindsey Oracle - Politically Incorrect - Prophetically Correct: “The Key To “Last Day” Prophecy
There is one great proof to the validity of literal fulfillment of prophecy concerning the events that lead to Christ’s return – ISRAEL.

Moses predicted that Israel would be twice destroyed as a nation. The first destruction was in two stages.
First the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom know as Israel. Then the three tribes that made up the Kingdom of Judah would be destroyed and removed from the land.
Moses predicted that the second dispersion would be much more severe and extensive than the first under Assyria and Babylon.
He predicted, “Then the Lord will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your fathers have known—wood and stone. And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish of soul. Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life.” (Deut. 28:64-66 NKJ)
This began to be literally fulfilled in 70AD by Titus and the Roman Tenth Legion. He destroyed the city of Jerusalem with the Temple. He scattered the survivors into a worldwide dispersion that continued unabated until May 14, 1948.
But the same God that predicted Israel’s destruction and dispersion also predicted its return and eventual acceptance into His unconditional covenants.
This is a point that a system of Theology in the Church today known as “the Preterists” or “Dominionists” deliberately overlook and allegorize. “
