I think America has gone past the point of no return. I see no political solutions to the problems because the problems are really a result of the immorality of the people. I personally think we have about 20 years left before we complete the prophetic end of the age and enter the millennial reign of Jesus. If that is true, I think many things must happen in the next twenty years, so be very careful about what you buy into. If my timing is correct, and Jesus comes for the faithful Church prior to the tribulation, then at most there is ten to fifteen years left to work before the Rapture. If we are that close to the second coming, then the stage for some of the end time prophetic events should already be observable in the world. Read more...

It seems to me that Americans are missing the obvious. Iran, Syria and North Korea are planning a surprise attack on Israel and the West and that attack will include nuclear Electromagnet Pulse (EMP) weapons. If you are aware of present political realities of today, the news headlines of tomorrow may not come as a complete surprise.
Obama is going to withdraw from Afghanistan but it will take until 2014 to do it. Meanwhile, nothing has changed for the better in that area. In fact, things are growing worse because the war just created more radicals in Pakistan and Afghanistan that hate Americans. Obama seems to think that every negative report is just a bump in the road on the path to his next hole. He may think he is on course but for Obama life is his recreation, it is all a golf course. One reason why I write new articles is so that I do not have to keep repeating myself when the inevitable questions or criticisms on my Bible prophecy views come up over and over again in comments on this blog or in emails to me. I do wish people would use the search box on the homepage of my website or this blog to find out if I already have written about a topic before they ask questions on Bible prophecy, but they usually do not. It has been announced that Russia is going to fuel up the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in Iran on Aug 21st, 2010. That has also fueled speculation by some that Israel or even the U.S. will attack the reactor within the next eight days because after it goes operational nobody would dare attack this reactor because radiation would be spread over a large area of the Middle East. Attacking it after it has become operational for a while would even be worse, because it would spread the Plutonium that is generated in the fuel rods and wherever this Plutonium dust might spread would become radioactive and uninhabitable for human life for many thousands of years. I wanted to write a couple of new articles on something worth knowing this week but the chances of that seem to be getting slimmer all the time. Between comments, emails, website administration and modifications, keeping up with the news, shopping for food, yard work, a garden that is out of control, all my high mileage vehicles needing repair, my wife going on a mission trip, a birthday, spraying the fruit trees, taking care of the animals, doing bills, a holiday coming up, sleeping , etc. I find that there just are not enough hours in the day to get everything done. I know Immanuel Velikovsky used the same title for one of his books but most of this generation would not be aware of that. Immanuel Velikovsky wrote several books about catastrophism in Earth’s geological past. His theory of planets in collision gives natural causes for the flood and the other judgments in the Bible. If you reject evolution you might read his books because there is a lot of truth in what he wrote, but even geniuses like Velokosvsky do not get everything right. He certainly did not acknowledge that God also works through supernatural means. His theory of “planets in collision” most likely has some validity especially since his theories were rejected by most of the scientific world. Much of the scientific world could not find the truth of the earth’s true past if the truth came out of orbit and hit them over the head. I have been saying that the Mediterranean Union (MU) will be the actual revived Roman Empire and not the EU alignment that we see today because many of the nations in the EU do not belong in the land area of the old Roman Empire and others that belong in it are missing from the EU. About every other week I get a email telling me in one way or another that the parable of the fig tree means that all will be fulfilled by 2019 AD. Thus they believe the start of the tribulation or rapture has to be by 2012. There are well known Bible prophecy teachers teaching this today. I am tired of answering questions on this over and over so I am writing my own position on the “Parable of the Fig Tree”. This exclusive article about the author’s interview with Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel tells me that Netanyahu is not going to allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. There are other problems with allowing Iran to get nuclear weapons besides the threat of a nuclear strike on Israel. If Iran acquired nukes it would upset the stability in the whole unstable Mid-East. The threat would also bully Israel citizens and some would depart Israel. Having Iran as a nuclear umbrella is certain to embolden all the terrorist groups in the area. Iran would also be a threat to Europe and Arab nations and could supply terrorists with a weapon of mass destruction that they might use anywhere. One of the great mysteries for those who study Bible prophecy is the timing of the wars mentioned in Psalm 83 and the war described in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. They are obviously different wars but which war occurs first and when? Are they pretribulational wars or tribulation wars? Read the part that I highlighted below. Joe Biden said that Obama will need the help of community leaders to control the population as unpopular decisions are made and AMERICANS RESIST. This will occur within six months of him taking office. In other words they are saying they expect something to happen that will make Americans resist the Government. I cannot think of what that would be other than Martial law and taking away people’s guns. I have not read the book “Isralestine”, by Bill Salus but it sounds like an intriguing prophetic explanation of end time events. Almost all futurist Bible prophecy students will agree that there are three end time wars involving Israel. However, we disagree somewhat on the timing of first two wars. Those wars being the Ezekiel Chapter 38 and 39 war where Gog comes down with a host of nations and the Psalm 83 war where a confederacy of nations attempts to cut Israel off from being a nation. I believe Hal Lindsey will be correct that Russia will now actively seek to regain its former empire. It might not be all the same nations of the former USSR at least at first. But Russia will intimidate the nations of Eastern Europe to join a regional alignment of states to counter the West. Especially if the West is mired in the economic and Islamic caused turmoil that looks almost certain to come. Hal Lindsey expects a Middle East War against Israel this September. I certainly would not rule that out. Peace talks have a way of falling apart because the terrorists do not want peace and they sabotage any deal. Hal thinks Israel will hit Iran before they fire up their reactor. I would think that if they are going to hit the reactor they will do it before nuclear material is in the reactor. That would make a September date kind of late if they want to prevent nuclear fall out on civilians. So I do not think Israel will do anything about their reactor going online. Of course once a war starts for some other reason anything can happen. Israel will also not do anything without informing the U.S. and we are not going to allow a war to start without having at least 3 carrier groups in the area. So when you see ship movements to that area a strike against Iran is much more likely. I think a war is likely soon but I am not sure the timing is known to anyone right now. Read more...
