So what should Conservatives and Christians who believe the Constitution and/or in moral absolutes of the Bible do? There is not much we can do about the Democrats because one of the two will get the nomination. My suggestion is to Republicans and Independents. I believe that electing an acceptable candidate is no longer possible. Therefore, I suggest that you only vote for the candidate that has the least delegates locked up. The goal should not be for any one of the three candidates to win the primary. The goal should be to go to the convention without anyone having the nomination locked up. There will then be a brokered convention and the party will have to come up with someone else who will appeal to the majority of Republican delegates. That person would have to be a true conservative to win. That is the only chance a Conservative has of being nominated by the Republican party. Fathers have been turned into a caricature and there is a striking demonization of traditional male values. Any person attempting to enforce rules and authority, a traditional male preserve, is seen as a Fascist and ridiculed, starting with God the Father. We end up with a society of vague fathers who can be replaced at the whim of the mothers at any given moment. Even the mothers have largely abdicated, leaving the upbringing of children to schools, kindergartens and television. In fashion and lifestyle, mothers imitate their daughters, not vice versa.

Well, in a traditional society, the role of men was to physically protect and financially provide for their women. In our modern society, part of this task has been “outsourced” to the state, which helps explain why women in general give disproportionate support to high taxation and pro-welfare state parties. According to anthropologist Lionel Tiger, the ancient unit of a mother, a child and a father has morphed from monogamy into “bureaugamy,” a mother, a child and a bureaucrat. The state has become a substitute husband. In fact, it doesn’t replace just the husband, it replaces the entire nuclear and extended family, raises the children and cares for the elderly.

They are something like liberal “Christians”. Don’t expect moderate Muslims to take a stand against Muslims who use violence. They cannot oppose them, they have no scriptural foundation to stand on. They might not believe in violence as the means to the end or they might not want to do any violence themselves but they do believe in the same end and they are not going to take a stand against those working toward that end.
They often fear what the radicals might bring on their own heads but that is not the same as opposing their actions. Since moderates will not use violence to bring about what they believe they are certainly not going to use any violence to oppose those that are doing what their scriptures teaches.
The only truly moderate Muslims identified as Muslims are not Muslims at all, anymore than a “Christian” who does not believe teachings in biblical scriptures is a Christian. These moderates are those who grew up in Islam but who have not totally embraced it. These pick and choose from the Quran or pretty much ignore the Quran. Don’t expect much more than lip service from them unless they can be guaranteed earthy security. They know if they oppose the radical teachings of Islam they will be killed.
If we do not understand that Islam teaches conquest by force and total submission to Shariah law and that we must oppose it with truth and justice we are just whistling past the graveyard. Yes, justice means using military force when necessary.

It is a beautiful country and the people are wonderful but the taxes are nuts. The VAT tax causes everything but the basics to be two to three time as high as in the United States. I remember if you drove out of the country you were almost expected to come back with a car trunk full of tax free liqueur. Some people in NATO were paying their monthly rent with their monthly tax free allotment of booze.
What I do not understand is if 3/4 of the people are against the taxes why do they still have them and why do they continually find new things to tax? We are told that Norway is a democracy but I see little evidence of that. In a democracy you get rid of people who pass laws that you do not like. In my experience Norway is a socialist nation run by an elite ruling class. They control the media and all legislation in Norway.
