Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, or end of world prophecy won’t occur in 2012

It appears to be a near certainty that NATO will soon get involved in the action in Syria. They will probably get directly involved within a matter of days or a couple of weeks. The United States, France, and Great Britain have aircraft carriers in place and they have thousands of special forces ready to move into Syria to secure the Syrian WMD sites.

Petrus Romanus: an exercise in finding the future in the demonic

On June 22, 2012 · 13 Comments

In 2009 Tom Horn gave us his theory in his book “Apollyon Rising 2012″ that the Antichrist would make himself known between the year 2009 and 2012. Three years later Horn has followed up with a book that has the False Prophet coming to power in late 2012. This book seems designed to complete his theory based on many private mystical and pagan prophecies that the Great Tribulation starts near the end of 2012 and ends in 2016.

The case for the Muslim…errrr…I mean…the Mormon Antichrist

On February 4, 2012 · 102 Comments

Some that are claiming to understand Bible prophecy are making a living selling books, creating websites, and doing the talk circuits with conjecture that the Antichrist will be a Muslim. This kind of speculation is nothing new. The Antichrist in the past was said to be the Pope or at least the Papal system, and in the day of World War II Hitler represented the Antichrist to some. Toward the end of the 20th century there were full-page ads in the newspapers and ads on TV informing us the lord Maitreya was coming. Some Christians were pretty certain that he would be the Antichrist.

I think all these birdbrains are in for a rude awaking on May 22, 2011 when they find themselves still here after they burned all their bridges on earth in the days of their acting like April fools.

Blazing Arizona is Really Hot and Just started Raising Hell

(Yeah, but it is a dry heat!)

Arizona used to be a very nice place to live before the foreign invasion. I think I am well qualified to talk about blazing Arizona because I lived there off and on for almost fifty years. I have over fifteen years logged in hot Arizona and I also lived just across the border in just as hot Nevada for seven more.

2010 hurricane season predicts stormy U.S. ties with Israel!

On May 27, 2010 · 1 Comments

There are certain people in the Bible prophecy field that blame every single natural disaster in the United States on some negative action of the United States toward Israel. Thus, if their tit-for-tat physics is valid using reverse logic the scientific prediction of a very active 2010 Hurricane Season predicts that the United States will have very stormy ties with Israel from June through November.

Should churches run preschools? I say nope.

This post is not going to make me popular with some people that I know since two out of my last three churches operate preschools. Nevertheless, I have to write what I really believe and that might not be what certain people what to hear. When I talk about preschool here I am talking about structured programs away from home before kindergarten. I know kindergarten is really preschool but kindergarten with five and six year old children could have educational value.

Nothing about prophetic things.

On March 5, 2010 · 5 Comments

This post will contain nothing about prophetic things. It is mostly about my website and blogs.

Traffic to this blog was running at about 17,000 visits a month in the fall and since the first of year it was up to over 20,000 views a month but for some reason in the past month it is back down again to where is was last fall. Perhaps people do not want to read a lot of words. I do aim to please (once in a while) so here are some pictures.

I do not think anyone really knows what the leaders of Iran are implying but I know that Iran already stuns the Western world with its own arrogance.

Collective Insanity on Planet Earth

On December 22, 2009 · 13 Comments

The reason the world needs saving is because mankind is clearly insane in his fallen state. Mankind will somehow always make the collective choices that will bring a type of hell on earth. Blogging to mostly postmodern mindless robots?

On December 10, 2009 · 37 Comments

When I started blogging two or three years ago it was with the idea of getting more traffic to read articles on my main website www.thepropheticyears.com. The blogging has certainly brought readers to the blog part of my website but I do not think it has increased traffic to the rest of my website much at all. I probably could have increased traffic much more by just writing and posting new articles on my main website and not blogging at all.

Global warming climate change, postmodern thinking and Al Gore reinventing truth

On December 4, 2009 · 6 Comments

I have not covered climate change (global warming) much on this blog because it would seem to be off topic to the world and church trends and Bible prophecy theme. But, it actually is an attempt at satanically controlled global government. So an article on this climate change topic does seems fitting.

Contemplations about church practices in America.

I probably should be writing on something more important today like how fascist communists and hedonism are taking over America but all the astute people that read my blogs are already aware of that.  So instead I want to bring up some recent contemplations about church practices in America. What I say here is meant to be taken as food for thought; it is not meant to insult anyone and you certainly do not have to agree on my thoughts on church practices in America.

Gail Riplinger: Where is thy discernment?

On October 19, 2009 · 56 Comments

King James only and Gail Riplinger’s “New Age Bible Versions” has more than once been brought up on this Blog and elsewhere. I find it incredible that a woman with degrees in Interior design, with no formal training on the Bible, a woman that cannot even read Hebrew or Greek can set herself up as some authority over the best trained Bible translators in the world. I find it dumbfounding that Christians and even some “discernment ministries” would actually take what she says seriously without even reading what the experts say about her bazaar claims.

I really love these people who tell me that they really believe the world is coming to an end in 2012, or they are certain that the Rapture has to happen within a year or two, or that they have the date of the second coming all figured out, or that Jesus has to come before 2019 because of their interpretation of the “Fig Tree Parable”, or based on some pagan prophecy, or the sayings of  Jack Van Impe, etc., etc., but they continue to retain all their wealth like they are going to live here forever or take it with them.

I will say it as gently as I can, those who think we are already in the tribulation have lost their marbles.

Virus epidemic that infects the mind spreads out of control

On September 3, 2009 · 17 Comments

I fear there is another virus worse than the H1N1 swine flu that is taking over America. It is a virus epidemic that infects the mind and it has now spread out of control.  There is something fundamentally wrong with the thinking in America and much of the West today. It is as if a computer virus has spread to humans and has infected their minds.  Specific examples of the symptoms probably are not being noticed because they are rapidly becoming the norm. The virus seems to hinder the ability to process data; the ability to comprehend; to understand and profit from experience, and to think rationally.  I will mention just a few examples that I was exposed to in the last few weeks so you might identify and isolate the virus yourself if those infected should get anywhere near you.

I bring this runner-up Miss USA issue to your attention since it is the number one story on Fox news right now and it shows a strange mindset among Christians in the United States. I have to wonder about the Christian reasoning of Carrie Prejean. She thinks God was testing her faith by her being asked a question about gay marriage? First of all Miss Prejean, did you really pass the test of faith when you entered these vanity contests and paraded around in skimpy bathing suits for all the nation? Does the Bible imply that women should display themselves this way? What do they teach you in that California church anyway?

Muslim Antichrist proponents totally miss Islamic moral law

Dr. David Reagan has been receiving attacks on the Internet for his article in Lamplighter that debunked the concept of a Muslim Antichrist. One of the misconceptions of Muslim Antichrist proponents is that Islam is looking for a Mahdi that all Muslims will unite behind. They believe this Mahdi will be the Antichrist and will lead Muslims to fight against Israel and the “Christian” West. Never mind that there really is no Christian West there is only a pseudo Christian West. There are more true Christians in Communist China than there are in today’s humanistic Europe.

Coming Christian wealth transfer or an ongoing third wave demon transfer?

The whole idea that there will be a coming Christian wealth transfer from the world to the Church is preposterous. What do they think the world will be doing while we take away their wealth and what in the world would we do with the wealth of the world anyway? Get rid of poverty? Where does it say the Church will do that in scripture? Actually these people will take new found wealth to build more and larger circus tents for their “third wave” freak shows?

Phoenix Arizona is the Next 911 say the false prophets of the phony “Prophetic Ministry”

On February 1, 2008 · 0 Comments

I just want to document this nonsense to prove that those claiming to be in the “Prophetic Ministry” are in self delusion and that they actually are false prophets. They get visions or dreams that come from their own mind and then presume it came from God. Some of what is said in these prophecies is so nonsensical that one has to wonder if these airheads know anything about capabilities of nuclear weapons at all.
One or two nukes in the city of Phoenix could not destroy Phoenix at all. Do these people have a clue about how large Phoenix is? It would take tens of hydrogen bombs to destroy Phoenix and no one with a mind believes that terrorists have hydrogen weapons. A nuclear fission device set off in Phoenix would kill 10,000 to 100,000 people not millions.

Rice Says Serbia, Kosovo, Will Stay Separate Forever

On December 22, 2007 · 2 Comments

Never is a long time Miss Secretary. I wonder who made Condoleezza Rice the absolute ruler of the world? I am sure Serbia and Russia would disagree with her statement. It is one thing to state what you wish to happen and it is another thing to declare something temporal to be an absolute truth forever. It is an arrogant statement and it will be seen that way in Serbia and Russia. The main reason why the US gets into so many wars is that leaders in the US want to force everyone in the world to be the way that they want them to be. What Rice is supporting here is also not going to have a good outcome.

Christians Consider Drinking Beer Acceptable According to ChristiaNet.com Poll

On November 27, 2007 · 1 Comments

It is nice to hear that the majority still have some common sense.

The person or persons who said that they do not know anyone that drinks one beer obviously is hanging around with the wrong people. I suppose he would say the same thing about those who have a glass of wine with dinner? I have news, the vast majority of wine drinkers have one or two glasses of wine and then stop. It is the same with most beer drinkers. The comment that beer and wine does not taste good is a totally ridiculous statement to those who like these food products. This same person probably loves sugar drinks or coffee and does not see his hypocrisy.

Medical science says there are plenty of good reasons to take a small amount of alcohol. Almost all the adults in Jesus day drank some wine. There was no refrigeration so juice quickly fermented. You really think Paul told Timothy to drink grape juice?

Even the statement that elders and deacons were not to be big drinkers of wine implied that wine was in common use in the Church. Do you really think that in the communion services in the early Church that they used unfermented grape juice?

Proverbs 20:1 is talking about drinking in excess. If you need more clarification read the rest of the scriptures. I guess you are telling us that that Jesus is also one of the “not wise” mentioned, because Jesus drank wine?

Jesus contrasted himself with John who did not drink wine. Jesus drank wine so they called Him a wine bibber. For drinking grape juice? Get real!

I get tired of these nonsensical Christians that get their views from legalistic interpretation of certain passages while ignoring all the other scriptures that refute their traditional or legalistic assumptions.

I get even more tired of control freaks who try to make normal practices sinful and that try to put Christians on guilt trips when they did nothing wrong. They even write their man made doctrines into their church covenants making many that join hypocrites and barring those who are not hypocrites from their church membership. God forbid if too many non hypocrites joined and actually changed their pet doctrines of bondage.

State Department foreign policies of women in delusion

This article points out some of the delusion that has been coming out of our State Department. I have to admit that most of the foreign policy “experts” have a very unique world view. They do not see the world as it exists. They see a delusional world of what should be, because apparently in their world everyone is trustworthy and no one is evil. The State Department has been operating under the delusions of silly old women, or men who act like women for quite a while now. Caroline Glick is  one of the voices of reason in this delusional world.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Says Marijuana Not a Drug

On October 29, 2007 · 2 Comments

Its not a either or situation. I want a politician that does not use illegal drugs and that makes good decisions. A politician who makes bad personal decisions and breaks the laws of the country will not make good decisions for others while in public office. Schwarzenegger has proved that with the bills he recently signed. Why should you care that someone is in office who abuses drugs? Because he or she will not have normal reasoning abilities. For example, the politician might say Marijuana is not a drug but the laws of the state He governs says it is a drug and prosecutes people who use and traffic it.

How to get morons off the Net

On October 23, 2007 · 2 Comments

That certainly is a rather moronic statement. There is a very good reason for anonymous posting or alias posting. First of all, not all governments allow free speech. We cannot even be sure that free speech will be allowed in this country much longer. Suppose the government passes hate speech laws and then searches for any comment that falls within their new demented hate laws? Suppose citizen action groups look for people to turn into the government or sue them? Suppose law suits are enacted against people who hurt other people’s feeling with their comments? Suppose employers will not hire you until they do a search on the Internet on your name to see everything you ever said about anything? Etc. The way to stop morons on the Net is for the administrator of the website or Blog to delete comments that are not appropriate.

Life Almost Certainly Began in Comet says Astrobiologist

Nevermind, that no such comets have ever been found. These scientists contradict each other all the time. Just yesterday, I read from a scientist that life could not have survived any trip from a comet to the surface of the earth so he says life on earth could not have started on a comet. Just think how much money could be saved by not funded all your God forsaken studies.

Bishop Wants Everyone to Call God Allah

On August 16, 2007 · 0 Comments

Where do they grow these buffoons? The Bishop says God does not care what we call Him? We can debate where the name Allah really came from – The language or a demon god — but that is not the main issue anyway. The Quran says that Allah has NO SON. So how does Christians calling God Allah make Christians submissive to Islam’s Allah who has no son, as Islam requires? Christianity clearly says that if you do not have the Son you do not have the Father either. Islam does not have the Son and therefore does not have the Father either.

Do you really believe Syria wants peace?

On August 15, 2007 · 0 Comments

I believe that war with Syria will be sooner rather then later despite everyone saying they want peace. The present leadership of Israel are a bunch of unbelieving humanistic fools who cannot help but lead Israel to great destruction. The Zionist Evangelical Christians will help Israel if the leaders of Israel are willing to listen to them but if they are going to go off into typical Jewish patterns of trying to appease those who want to see them dead and think that world government will protect them, they will see a worse Holocaust then they experience under Hitler.

Two thirds of Jews do not get killed in the time of Jacob’s trouble because they were listening to the people of God that are looking out for them. They get killed because they choose to ignore the truth and they choose the way of false peace from those that hate them.

The Church of the Dead Sea or the Church of the dead Me?

On July 25, 2007 · 1 Comments

Once in a while Dave Daubenmire’s observations leave me somewhat bewildered. I don’t know where he attends church but his observation in this article are not based on the facts. Most Christians do not go to Church three times a week and none are over-stuffed with the word. You are luck to get Christians to attend church once a week for one or two hours. Most Christians are starving for the lack of the word being taught. I have yet to meet one Christian that is over-stuffed with the word. Most Christians have never even read through the Bible in their entire lifetime. What is really happening is that most who go to church come home empty and they do not feed for themselves either. They cannot go out and do battle because they have no armor and are not experienced in using the sword.

RFK Jr. to climate summit: worse environmental administration we had in our history?

On July 13, 2007 · 1 Comments

I recall in the early 60′s that the Great Lakes were dead and many cities had air that was literally deadly at times. We had nuclear sites all over the West polluting vast areas.  President JFK headed the administration at that time.

What is JFK Jr’s solution for our electricity needs right now? If we did not now have these coal plants what is his alternative? Minor modifications like Wal-Mart is not going to solve our present energy requirements. It is also rather strange that JFK Jr. would praise a company that buys almost everything from China that is by far the biggest manufacturing polluter in the world. They are putting new coal plants online nearly everyday without any attempt at pollution controls.

Carlton Pearson says nobody goes to hell and becomes a heretic

On July 13, 2007 · 1 Comments

You cannot teach things contrary to what God said and be regarded as a teacher of the Christian faith. Carlton Pearson was a heretic long before he more recently proved it to his own congregation and his denomination. He was in the heretical name it and claim it Word Faith Movement that is so prevalent on TBN. Is it any wonder that these unstable men go from one heresy to the next? With Carlton the defining moment came when he came to believe that the Bible was not the world of God?? Now why would a “believer” ever believe that? Obviously someone told him the Bible was the world of God sometime during his life but he never ever found out the truth for himself.

Nice to see that ABC is so eager to do their thing to portray a heretic as a reasonable fellow. After all, they all know that all us biblical Christians are narrow and unreasonable. We are! We know there is only one truth.

Father Jonathan speaks for Pope?

On July 12, 2007 · 0 Comments

I greatly respect Father Jonathan but can’t the Pope make these things clear himself? I wish you were the head of the Catholic Church, Father, then maybe we would get somewhere, but you are not. We read what this Pope said. If he did not mean what the press communicated on his writings he should be the one to clarify it. Anyone can use their own beliefs and spin to try to tell us that the Pope is not excluding non Catholics from the Body of Christ but I want to hear that said from the head man himself.

You say the Pope does not believe all non Catholics will all go to hell but that is not the issue. Does he believe that believing Protestant Christians are in the Body of Christ?

I believe Pope John Paul said that he thought Muslims worshiped God and had a path to God — which of course is ridiculous within Christian theology — but I certainly am not saying that all Muslims will go to hell since some Muslims apart from their religious indoctrination could actually come to believe in the true Savior God and be saved. However, is that what Pope John Paul meant in his statement to the very leaders of this Satanic religion? If so, he certainly did not communicate that to me by kissing the Quran. So it is possible that Pope Benedict likewise could say some will be saved outside of the Catholic Church but also be saying that those who believe the doctrines of Protestantism are damned. In fact that is exactly what I believe the Catholic Church teaches he must say.

The Catholic church still retains over 100 anathemas (damnation’s) against Protestants. Until the Pope rescinds them — which he cannot do because of their infallibility — the Popes must continue to play word games with unintelligible expressions for some facade of unity so that those hearing what they want to hear rather then what was actually said will be placated. You know as well as I that this Church is not going to change and the only unification possible is for Protestants to return to Catholicism in spite of all its heresy.

What did the Pope say about Evangelicals recently in Latin America? It seems to me, if he actually thought that Evangelicals were bringing people to Christ he would not have taken such a belligerent tone against them.

Father Jonathan, I believe you are sincere but I also think you are writing wishful thinking here. I think it is up to the Pope to clarify what he said if he was actually taken wrong. Why is it that you can find the time to write extensively about what the Pope meant and what he believes but the Pope with his whole staff in the Vatican cannot communicate it?

Pope says Protestants are not in the Body of Christ

On July 10, 2007 · 16 Comments

I hope you ecumenically minded Protestants realized what this Pope just spelled out. He said that Protestant clergy are not ordained and they are therefore not priests in the one true Church. He also said that the means of salvation are not found in those churches. Thus, no matter how you want to spin it the Pope just said that all Protestant Christians are not saved unless they return to the apostolic authority of the Catholic Church.

Some of you that thought you could fellowship with this church as fellow Christians should now see that you have been deceived. In Catholicism there is only one true church, it is their church. When they say there is one true Church they are not just talking about the Spiritual body of Christ as most Protestants would think. They are actually saying the one body of Christ is only found in those who submit to the apostolic authority of the Catholic Church. In other words, you have to be in Catholicism and you have to practice Catholicism to be in the Body of Christ.

They have a completely different meaning of what it is to be a Christian then Protestants. They say you are only a member of the Body of Christ by being part of their Apostolic Church. There is no salvation outside of this church. Therefore, Protestants who might claim to be in the body of Christ by faith in Christ are not in Christ if they do not also embrace the essential doctrines and practices of the Catholic Church.

So enough nonsense about any unification of Protestants with the Catholics. You can only unify with them by returning to their church, they will not unify with us. Yet, we know we cannot return to them because they claim salvation through works, ordinances and merits contrary to the gospel of salvation. If you are not aware of it they have condemned the doctrine of salvation by faith alone many centuries ago. They have long ago departed from the faith to practice a bastardization of true Christianity. If you somehow became a born again Catholic who thinks you can reform this apostate church from within you are totally wrong you need to get out. The Church was founded on pagan Babylonian substitutes that spawned continual falsehoods that now have become infallible doctrines. They have bound themselves in man made false doctrines that they cannot change.

This Pope is reverting to his childhood and is showing his fascist colors. There can be no question that he is a counterfeit Christian since what he says opposes the very words of the apostolic fathers he claims to succeed. He obviously does not know what a Christian is, he thinks a Christian is someone who follows only what his own church says.

Actually this very misguided pope has done all true Christians a huge favor. We should never again have any false illusions that the Catholic Church teaches a message of salvation or considers Protestants to be brothers in Christ.

I hope I never again see an evangelical gathering that turns people who confess Christ back to their Catholic priests. I hope I never again hear Protestant leaders say that the Pope is a great Christian. I hope I never again hear that a prominent evangelical leader is going to Mass with his wife because he thinks what Catholics practice on Sunday is Christian worship. It is not, it is a Babylonian pagan counterfeit of what Jesus did once for all. If you do not know the difference you really do not belong in Christian leadership.

The Catholic church is a counterfeit substitute to Christianity. Their earthly man made church supersedes the spiritual Church made up of all believers. She and those who return to this earthy church in the last days make up the Harlot of Revelation chapter 17 “The woman who rides the Beast”
