I have not read the book “Isralestine”, by Bill Salus but it sounds like an intriguing prophetic explanation of end time events. Almost all futurist Bible prophecy students will agree that there are three end time wars involving Israel. However, we disagree somewhat on the timing of first two wars. Those wars being the Ezekiel Chapter 38 and 39 war where Gog comes down with a host of nations and the Psalms 83 war where a confederacy of nations attempts to cut Israel off from being a nation. In the mix somewhere is the destruction of Damascus since the prophecy has never been fulfilled yet.

I have heard enough about this book to know that Bill Salus makes a strong case for the war of Psalms 83 coming first. I believe the premise is that after the aftermath of the Psalms 83 war that brings the destruction of Damascus, Israel will expand its borders. That will allow Israel to have the security that is implied by Ezekiel at the time of the Gog invasion. At that time Russia will come down with a host of nations against Israel and God will intervene.

In the past, I have tended to put the Ezekiel war first and I placed the Psalm 83 war in the middle of the tribulation making that the reason why the Jews flee to the mountains. However, Bill Salus may be correct, it does answer a whole lot of questions.

Israel destroys Damascus, then Russia invades

Indeed Russia and Iran are ready to make their moves, but what about Syria? Oddly Syria, who today panders alongside Iran for Russian affections, is not included among the elite nine members of the Ezekiel 38 and 39 consortium of attacking nations. Why not? What knocks their quiver of missiles out of the Ezekiel military equation?

As I have documented in my recently released book, “Isralestine, The Ancient Blueprints of the Future Middle East,” the Bible makes quite clear that in a distinctly separate Psalm 83 episode Damascus, the capital of Syria, soon ceases to be a city, and subsequently shortly thereafter Russia and Iran advance against Israel.

Furthermore “Isralestine” explains how the destruction of Damascus followed by the Ezekiel invasion sets the stage for the final tribulation period, whereby the Antichrist rallies his Armageddonites together in one last days ditch effort to destroy the Jewish race.

Thus there are three scheduled end time advances against Israel, not just Ezekiel’s. First comes Psalm 83, the Arab-Israeli war, followed promptly by the Ezekiel 38 and 39 Russian – Iranian invasion, and lastly the campaign of Armageddon by the Antichrist.

The destruction of Damascus will be such a powerful world event that Isaiah was instructed to boldly and succinctly state, the burden against Damascus. “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap.” (Isaiah 17:1, NKJV) Isaiah further announces that the fortified cities of Syria will be forfeited into Israeli sovereignty. (Isaiah 17:9) This suggests that the dooming of Damascus and conquest of Syria results from of an Israeli Defense Forces campaign.

Amos and Jeremiah echo this 2,800-year-old Isaiah prophecy by prophetically uttering some additional details they were given. Amos declares that the capitol building of Syria will go up in smoke, and that the nation as a whole, will go into captivity. (Amos 1:3-5) Jeremiah concurs and furthermore declares the Syrian military will be decisively defeated, and in addition many young men will die in the blood-stained streets of Damascus. The bailouts may bring us one step closer to the one world Beast economic system but there are some things said in this article that quite frankly make unfounded innuendos about people in our government and in the financial management of our money that are just not appropriate.

The article seems to paint that since the great depression we have been control by a worldwide conspiracy that is deliberately leading us to the Mark of the Beast system. There is no such conspiracy there is no such evil cabal of men. What is happening is the inevitable results of man’s mismanagement of the world’s economic systems. Man is designed to organize and manage things on the earth and anywhere you have civilization management is going to take place. Otherwise you have anarchy.

Because of the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life one thing man does always leads to another. He overspends and goes into debt (the borrower will be the slave of the lender) so he becomes enslaved by the lenders through his own debt to them. The lenders are people of the same nature and they do the same thing and end up being the slaves of those with more money etc., soon everyone is owing more than they can pay and the debts have to wiped clean or the whole system collapses. That is where the U.S. is at now.

God had a way to deal with that weakness in man in the law. There was a Jubilee every fifty years where everyone’s debts were wiped out and they were to start afresh. We of course do not do what God instructed Israel to do in the law so we just keep piling up debt until the system has to collapse. When the latest modern collapse of the monetary system takes place the world elite will not want to make the same mistakes again so they will create the best system they can with the tools that they have available. In the future that means RFID tags, embedded chips and a secure worldwide economic system.

it is not really a sinister conspiracy plot as some try to sell. If man could actually manage his own sin on earth he would not need bailing out by a Savior. In addition, as long as the Church is here to be salt and light things on earth may get bad but they are not going to get totally out of control. It is only after the restrainer is taken out of the way and Satan is cast out of Heaven that the Beast system takes control of the inevitable world electronic economic system. Before Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven there are no restrictions on taking part in any of this. The electronic system only becomes sinister after the angels are cast out unto the earth and force people to take the mark and worship the Beast in order to buy or sell. Only when Satan has control of the whole earth does world electronic banking fulfill Bible prophecy.

Let’s not put the cart before the horse here and think that Satan actually can do anything he wants now, he cannot. He answers to God and only in the last 42 months does God give Satan free reign on earth in order for him to deceive those who would not have Jesus rule over them.

This article also jumps to the conclusion that Americans have lost control of their destiny. Did we ever have control of our own destiny? Not only that, the U.S. is only one nation on the earth. Believe it or not, everything is not about America.

America + decline does not = end of world, as some like to think.

America is not in Bible prophecy and that most likely is because America is not a major factor in the world during end time events. Nations have risen and fallen in the past and the Beast never rose to power because of it. Will the Beast come to power now because of U.S. economic troubles? If he does it will not be because America falls but because true Christian’s rise (Rapture) and Satan falls (to the earth).

There simply is something missing in the logic of those who love these ongoing conspiracy themes. I know saying that will not be popular with those who see demonic cabals everywhere, or the end of the world every Feast of Trumpets. The truth is that the Rapture is not likely to occur on the Feast of Trumpets this year and it probably will not come on the next or the next. The Rapture does not have to occur on the Feast of Trumpets at all despite all the Internet speculations. The Church is not Israel.

Events will go on until the time set by the Father and some Christians just need to get used to that fact and stop looking for some magic formula so they can scare their friends with their new found revelations. They need to stop blaming all the inevitable problems caused by man as proof text that the end will be here in 2012.

It is always getting closer to the end but there is no conspiracy of demon possessed men running the earth. They could not get along with each other if there were. We cannot even get the Pastors and deacons of our churches on the same page and we are led by the Holy Spirit. How in the world then does Satan get his possessed and his also possessed to see eye to eye on anything?

Then you wonder why some Christians get upset with those who spend all their time trying to figure out the timing of the Rapture and the second coming instead of using their gifts for the Church and working to get people saved? In my experience half the people coming up with these dates and theories do not even attend a local church.

Don’t get me wrong, I teach Bible prophecy and I think the Lord is coming in the lifetime of most of the people reading this article but much of what is being said lately in the name of Bible prophecy really are pagan theories with Bible terminology. I guess I am now in big trouble with some of you. Please spare me the email because when I do not see things your way you send me insults. I really do have better things to waste my time on. I get a little tired of unsolicited emails from those who just have to get me to agree with their conspiracies or agree that they know the day or dates of the Rapture or second coming. Almost always after a half dozen exchanges the only thing accomplished is wasted time.

But I digress, what the big bailout means is that most of us are too greedy and we spend far more than we have and we are so far in debt that we can never pay it back. We buy houses we cannot afford betting on them to rise in value ten percent a year and we expect our mutual fund managers to keep giving us ten percent returns on our investment when they can only safely give us five. We knew that they were gambling with our investments but we thought that everything keeps going up and that they were too smart to lose. Well, they did lose, and there will be a bailout by us or there will be a depression. There also will be more bailouts by us until the world decides it does not want to bail out America anymore. When that happen we are going to lose more than you can imagine.

That is really what all the bailouts mean. It is not some dark conspiracy by satanic bankers to take over the world it is our own enslavement to debt!

Do you think it’s just a case of bad management?

Do you think the proposed $700 billion taxpayer bailout of U.S. financial institutions just happened?

I don’t think so.

In fact, I think it’s part of a master plan – one pushing us inevitably, inexorably closer to a closed cashless global economic system of total control.

I know. This seems like an extreme statement. It sounds like I’ve drunk deep of the conspiracy Kool-Aid. But let’s take a look at history.

Americans have lost control of their own destiny. Elections don’t mean much. Congressional debates are illusory. We are on a path to tyranny. Neither Barack Obama nor John McCain is going to stop it. Neither a Republican Congress nor a Democratic Congress is likely to slow it down.

Most Americans seem ill-equipped to understand what’s happening or to comprehend the forces at work behind it. They seem more concerned with their basic needs and material pleasures than the fact that they are losing their birthright of self-government and individual freedom – that their children will never experience the promises of the Constitution.

What just happened? To simplify it, the government just got a lot bigger and more powerful, which means another nail was just hammered into the coffin of American liberty. And, in one of the largest wealth transfer schemes in history, a few wealthy and powerful individuals just got wealthier and more powerful – at your expense.

But this is not the end. This is not the final fix. This is not the final solution – not by a long shot. There will be more consolidations of power and money. There will be more “reforms.” There will be more regulations, more restrictions on the way you conduct your affairs, more centralization and control.

More and more I get emails asking me if I believe the Antichrist will be Islamic. Some give me a list of reasons why I am wrong in my articles to think that the Antichrist will come from Christianity or Judaism. They send me reasons from other Bible prophecy teachers why the idea that Bible prophecy teachers thought the Antichrist will come from the Roman Empire was wrong and why he will really come from Islam. Although I respect the Bible prophecy teachers that are now teaching this I do not believe that the Antichrist and his Beast government will come out of Islam. You may be interested in my full response.

I will start with a slightly modified excerpt from my article on Islam:

“How the “holy war” with Islam will bring in the Antichrist?

There are now large Islamic populations in most European countries and among these populations are those trained in terrorism. When the war between the West and Islam does occur it will be totally necessary to isolate Islamic peoples in Europe in concentration camps. In order for this round up to be successful these States will have to become police states. This police state will get out of control and ultimately bring about the Beast Antichrist government and system. Hitler’s reign was a foreshadow of how this could come about but instead of a national socialist movement there will be a world pseudo Christian dominionist socialist movement. When the satanically possessed European dictator comes on the scene he will somehow appease Islam and Islam will join into the one world religion movement. Later, the dictator is killed and becomes incarnated by Satan. At that time he will claim to be God. He will move the world government headquarters to Babylon and he will turn on and destroy the harlot world religion. He will be easily accepted by most Muslims as their concept of “God” because he has the exact same nature as their Allah. He will seek to kill all those who will not worship him as God.

Islam is setting the foundation for the Antichrist Beast world system. Islam now totally controls or has major influence over forty nations in the world. In most other nations Islam is a rising force. Islam controls the masses by force and when it has control it does not tolerate other religions or those who do not adhere to its dictates. Islam in reality worships the god of this world and his name is Satan. When the god of this world becomes incarnate in the man we call the Antichrist he will be recognized by those in Islam as Allah. I am not saying that the Antichrist is Islamic although that is possible. I tend to think the Antichrist figure when incarnated by Satan will claim to be Zeus and will have supernatural help from fallen angels. Nevertheless, subtly Satan has established a worldwide foundation for his monotheistic world religion with himself as God and this foundation is called Islam. I do not think the Antichrist will claim to be Allah. He will claim to be above anything called God. (2Th2:4)

My point is that the leaders of Islam will recognize him as their own concept of God and the followers of this counterfeit god will use the world network already in place in Islam to rapidly bring in the forced world religion and the political system of the Antichrist. We get a strong signal from the book of Revelation about the power base of the Antichrist because like the Islamic fascist’s of today they also behead their enemies.”

So, it is not that Islam will be the Antichrist government. Those who have been indoctrinated by Islam will recognize Satan as the God they worship that they call Allah. I still think that radical Islam will force world religious wars that will bring in the Western Antichrist figure out of the area of the Roman Empire. I still believe that harlot Christianity will be the head religion that rides on the back of the Beast of Revelation chapter 17. I see no other option to fulfill that prophecy. At the mid-point of the seven years the Beast claims to be greater then anything called God and all people that do not love the truth will buy into the lie through his deception.

Nevertheless, Islam is setting the foundation for that intolerant would religion all over the world. I think an ecumenical movement will follow the religious wars where all names of God in all Religion will simply mean the Creator. Then one will arise claiming to be the Creator but he will have the attributes of Satan and the world will follow him believing that He is the Creator.

Having said all that, I fully understand why Christians would think that the Antichrist will come from Islam. It is antichrist. But when pseudo and dominionist Christianity fight the person labeled by the West, “the Islamic Antichrist” it will set the stage for someone in the West who will defeat radical Islam all over the world. This Western leader will be the actual Antichrist but he will be labeled a hero and the Messiah. The pseudo Christians and Jews will receive Him as a Messiah figure so you can understand why everyone even the elect will be deceived if that were possible. Like Jesus said to the Jews, “one will come in his own name and him you receive”. The Jews would never receive someone out of Islam as their Messiah. They will accept someone who will counterfeit their Messiah and lead them to destruction. Meanwhile, dominionist pseudo Christians will expect Jesus to come after the defeat of the person that they had labeled the Antichrist. However, those wars will only be false birth pains with a false tribulation created by man’s wars. Antichrist will try to counterfeit the role of the second coming through a satanic false tribulation that can be identified with the four riders in the Seal Judgments of Revelation. I do not think the 70th week of Daniel actually starts until the sealing of the 144,000 Jews at the sixth seal but you have to also realize that I believe there are 10 1/2 years from the rapture until the second coming. I believe when pseudo Christianity is expecting some type of Christ they will get the Antichrist.

I am almost sure aliens (demons) will somehow be involved in that deception as well as Marian apparitions. The pseudo Christian world and Israel will get a Christ like that they want. He will lead them to take over the world and set up a world kingdom called by God, “Babylon the Great” but after Antichrist sets up his counterfeit kingdom of god he will turn on those who will not worship him with a vengeance. So in my opinion those teaching that Islam is the government of the Antichrist could be setting people up to be deceived through the future holy wars and by the real Antichrist. In my opinion, they are not seeing the whole picture. They have substituted something that today seems obvious on the face of it. It makes sense from today’s point of view to say Islam will be the government of Antichrist but if all scripture is taken into account it really does not fit. It is all too simplistic, just like those who thought Hitler’s Fascism or Communism were the demonic movements that would bring in the Antichrist.

Also understand that Islam is a bastardization of the scriptures. It really does not mater if Muhammad distorted Bible prophecy, or if his followers did, or if it came from Satan. The point is that Islam is a counterfeit of the real. We should not take lying prophecies of the counterfeits and expect to find truth in them just because their lying prophecies seem to fit Bible Prophecy of an Antichrist.

The Bible implies that the Antichrist is Assyrian. I have been saying that I think he will be a Catholic with Jewish blood who will be brought up in a Middle-East country. Thus, he will appeal to all three religions and fulfill their expectations. Think of an Obama type person with a Jewish mother and a Arab father who claims to be a Christian. Of course that is just meant as a suggestion it may turn out quite different.

All religions are moving toward pluralism and universalism. Once radical Islam is defeated people may be free to believe what they want in private but in public there will be no proselytizing allowed and all exclusive clams to God will be outlawed as hate speech in the name of world peace and security. Wait until after the war against Iran, Syria and all radical Islam and you may see the picture more clearly.

Why should we look for a revival of Catholicism? Because it will provide the answers the world is looking for. The supernatural manifestations claiming to be Mary will be a deception used by Satan in the last day. Read the works of Roger Oakland on this topic. Catholics worship Mary, Muslims have more regard for Mary then they do Jesus and many have statues of Mary and follow the Marian manifestations. Even Eastern religions have high regard for Mary idols. So imagine a scenario where during a bloody religious war a so called divine intervention comes from this “Queen of Heaven” demon (there is nothing new under the sun). The world is then set up for a one world religion. It also is no accident that the Emergent and Emerging Church movement is moving back toward Catholicism, and mysticism as are some mainline churches and Word-Faith New Wave Pentecostals.

I admit that if you just look at the situation today it would look like the Antichrist comes out of Islam but there are always backlashes and counter revolutions. Thirty years ago everyone though Communism would be the catalyst. Today they think it will be Islam. Islam will be the catalyst but it will be the catalyst to bring in the Antichrist out of a Roman Empire that will proceed to unite all religion back under the Pope. Also keep in mind the leader of the Roman Church at the time of the Antichrist is after the true Christians are removed. So the remains of the Catholics will not contain true Christians. In addition, take note that the Vatican is the only religion on earth that has embassies in almost every nation and has a seat at the U.N. and they are mentioned in written U.N. plans to establish a world religion.

When pluralism and universalism is the world religion Jesus will not be regarded at God. That will be outlawed. How anyone can think that the Western world that is now rapidly moving toward religious pluralism, universalism and amorality is going to accept the exclusiveness and the laws of Islam is beyond me? That is not at all realistic and there is no way that Islam can militarily conquer the West.

When Satan is actually booted out of the Heavens with his angels and he claims to be God on earth and he has his fallen angelic army to help him enforce his decrees then he will use those in Islam and all repressive religions to further his agenda. That is the parallel. It is not that the Antichrist is Islamic it is that Islam and all religion outside of true Christianity is antichrist and all of those religions will help bring him in power.

The only biblical reference to the decent of the Antichrist is that he is an Assyrian. He appears to move his throne to Babylon only after he actually becomes incarnated by Satan. The woman that sits in the midst of the ephah in Zec chap 5 seems to be the same woman that John talked about as sitting on seven hills ruling over the world at the time of his writing. This woman was in Rome but this woman called wickedness is carried to Babylon for the last 3 1/2 years.

Having said that, go ahead and believe what you want. It is not going to change the future one iota and I am not going to be convinced by anyone that the Antichrist or the Beast government will be Islamic.

First of all, this article is not exactly true the Temple Institute did not just begin preparing for the Third Temple by making priestly garbs. The Temple Institute has been preparing for the building of the Third Temple for decades. It is interesting to watch the effort continue but remember, these Jews do not believe in Jesus and what they say is often self serving and scripturally just plain wrong. For Example: Rabbi Yehuda Glick in this article says the prophets say that all the nations will be coming to Jerusalem and take part in building the Third Temple and that it will unite the nations around one central house of prayer.

What prophets wrote that I might ask? The ones I read in the Bible actually said that all the nations will come against Jerusalem to destroy it in an attempt to cut off Israel from being a nation.

All nations will be judged at Jerusalem when God stands up for Israel for the sake of His own holy name and his unbreakable Covenants to Israel. After that period of nearly complete destruction on earth a fourth Kingdom Temple will be set up when Jesus comes to rule and reign in His Kingdom on earth. The Kingdom Temple will be north of the Temple mount area (Ezekiel chapter 40 - 48) it is too big for Mt Moriah. Even Ezekiel in these passages on the Millennial Kingdom did not say anything about the nations coming to Jerusalem to build the Kingdom Temple. Although the wealth of the nations will be used toward that end. The only thing the nations will be coming to Jerusalem for prior to the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom will be for their judgment.

There are indications in scripture that indicate that a third temple will be built on Mount Moriah and that the daily sacrifice will be started again but the same passage says the daily sacrifice will be stopped and that the Antichrist will enter this temple and defile it claiming to be above anything called God. Scriptures also indicate that this period will start the worst time on earth that ever was or ever will be (Mt 24:21). So in reality when they start building the temple they will really be setting the stage for the fulfillment of the prophecy about the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer chap 30). Perhaps these Rabies should read these scriptures and the destruction that all their prophets talked about instead of skipping over that part and telling us that all nations will come to help build their Third Temple. Only a minority remnant of Jews will even survive the time after the desecration of the Third Temple.

It is interesting how the religious Jews spin the scriptures to read what they want to read into it. Postmodern Christians are now doing the same thing but make no mistake, judgment will come before any lasting restoration of Israel and the Church is not going to bring the Kingdom on earth by Christian social actions.

Another thing I wish to point out is that Glick and other Rabies like him like the support that the Christian Evangelicals give but they have also heard from the Evangelicals about the second coming of
Jesus. They have heard what we say scripture says about the judgment coming to Israel but they have rejected that message and substituted it with their own postmodern relativism by reading into scripture what they want to hear rather than what it actually says. All religions in the world can talk about religious pluralism and how the world will all become one but that is not what God says in the Bible. There will be no uniting of the world until the King of Peace comes, judges the nations and sinners and establishes His Kingdom on the earth.

Third Temple preparations begin with priestly garb | Jerusalem Post

Priestly garments have not been worn since the destruction of the Second Temple by Rome in 70 CE and cannot be functional until a Third Temple is constructed.

This situation has not received enough media attention, prompting some to label it the “silent famine.” Malnutrition and hunger are growing problems, and charitable organizations are having trouble keeping up with the growing demand. The black horseman of the Book of Revelation speaks of a condition wherein a man’s daily wages are so poor, he can barely support himself, much less his family (Revelation 6:5-6). Could it be that we are getting close?

This might be something to keep in mind. There are now weaponizing bugs. It almost sounds like this could have something to do with the fulfillment of Rev 9:10. More likely the Revelation event is all super national but if weaponized hybrid bugs are developed by man there is a remote possibility that what comes out of the smoke may have been first developed by man.

Your not crazy, the collapse of civilization as we know is near. Many of these surplus men will make up the army of the 200 million out of the East in Revelation. There are 163 million surplus men now but there will be many more by 2030. By the time all the end time events play out the Bible says this surplus of men will change to men becoming rarer than gold.

What we have here and in India and some other Eastern nations is the making of the 200 million man army from the East spoken of in Revelation. The nations will be glad to get rid of these men. If that were not to occur, by 2030-2040 China will be in revolution. This puts the date of the army prepared for a hour, day, month, and year in Revelation within the 2025-2040 AD period. That is when the surplus men of fighting age will peak.

And ethnic identity, it turns out, cannot be passed down, or survive the breakup of ethnically homogeneous neighborhoods.

What young Jews under 35 feel towards Israel goes beyond apathy to outright resentment. Israel complicates their social lives and muddies their political identity. Only 54% profess to be comfortable with the idea of a Jewish state at all. In Europe and on elite American campuses, internationalism and a world-without-borders are the rage. The Jews of Israel, with their stubborn insistence on protecting their nation-state, are, as always, out-of-sync.

Young American Jews do not wish to be tarred with their atavisms. On campus and where enlightened folk meet, Israel is scorned as a colonial oppressor. Who wants to be identified as a sympathizer with apartheid? Once Reform Judaism disavowed Zionism for fear of being thought disloyal to their host countries, and young American Jews today share similar fears of being out of step with their enlightened peers.

We should no longer wonder why Israel elects leaders that will destroy their state. Frankly, with their secular humanistic atheist views Jews do not deserve God’s grace to live in His land. The Majority of Jews today are worse than the ones that God threw out of the Land twice. These atheist cowards actually will side with those trying to destroy them. Jews once said, never again, after the holocaust. Most of today’s Jews resent Israel. By their cowardly appeasement of those who wish to eliminate them as a nation and race they guarantee another holocaust.

Now we see why Bible prophecy says God will bring a time called Jacob’s trouble for Israel where the unbelieving Jews will be cut off and only one-third of Jews will be refined through the fire. Only then will their promised kingdom be restored.

Lest some Christians gloat about this, most that call themselves Christians are denying the faith and they shall have a similar fate in the tribulation.

Jesus indicates that they were celebrating before the flood came and took them all to their deaths and now you are advocating that people do the same thing. Jesus said people would do this just before the judgments (mat 24:38).

The Apocalypse is God’s judgment on evil people on earth before He sets up His earthly Kingdom. The only hope given is to believers and it is not a fleshly hope, most will die. There is no hope at all for unbelievers on the earth and that will be the vast majority.

You do not think the judgments will happen literally as John saw and heard and that is why you sugar coat what will actually happen. Jesus talked about this period and said it would be the worst period that ever would occur on the earth and that no flesh would be saved if He did not shorten the days (Mat 24: 21-22). No one has thought of it before? It sounds much like what will happen when the four horsemen of the Apocalypse ride. India and Pakistan could go at it at any time, as could others. So how close is the world to those biblical events? Just one major miscalculation or one sneak attack away.

Nice point, Hal. It could not happen if people were sane but they are delusional so their own delusions will make them fulfill Bible prophecy. The prophets foretold all this but few are sane enough to believe them, including the leaders of Israel.

Maybe Ariel Sharon will wake up sane after seven years. Wouldn’t that be icing on the prophetic cake?

This is important in Bible prophecy because there will soon be a huge surplus of men of military age with no chance for a normal life. Ever since the 80’s China has been birthing a huge surplus of men. If they end the unbalance by 2010 like they have stated before. That generation will span from 1980 until about 2010 or 30 years. The last born of this surplus generation of men will be of military age by 2025 while the first of the generation will be still be young enough to be capable of fighting. This peak generation of disposable men will occur in the years between 2025-2035. Revelation talks about an army out of the East that will have 200 million men that was born for a specific time. The surplus men in 2025-2035 from China will be more than 100 million and they will be joined by other nations like India who also have surplus men to make up that unique army of 200 million men that was born for destruction.

This all occurs late in the seven year tribulation for Israel. So knowing that, we only have about two decades left before the tribulation begins.

Some might respond that this is a huge difference. But how much of a difference can it be when Bush and the Democrats agree on the fundamental issue of turning the country over to the U.N.? If, by some chance, the situation in Iraq stabilizes and the Iraqi government survives, who will be given the credit? I think we all know the answer to that. We can hear the commentators saying that the U.N. will have “saved” the U.S. in Iraq.

“What this means is that the U.N., with U.S. financial backing as U.S. troops prepare to withdraw, will take over more and more responsibility for Iraq, using increased foreign aid as leverage to bring the Iraqi factions together. “

I think the UN will take over in Iraq and I think that is also the prophetic scenario. Babylon will be rebuilt because the Antichrist will rule the world from there in the great tribulation. Lahay did not put that in his “Left Behind” series by accident, it is based on Zec. chapter 5. So if we look at the situation over there and we take into account how fast a modern new city can be built once their is peace in the Middle East and the oil is flowing we can easily see that all pieces for the end time world city can be in place before 2030. If you want an example of the building of a world class city in modern times within one decade check out the city of Dubai. Babylon will be greater.

He began a series of fiction on his eschatology: Preterism. That belief says that all or most of end-time events transpired in 70 AD. Nero was the Antichrist. The Tribulation was the persecution of Christians. Hank and most “partial Preterists” still believe in the Second Coming. “Full Preterists” believe Christ returned “in spirit” in 70 AD. Not much fanfare for the King of Kings back then!

Now many are taking Hanegraaff to task for not only false theology but for outrageous comments on air and in his newest book, “Apocalypse Countdown” as well as his fiction series with co-author Sigmund Brouwer. Dr. Thomas Ice, who serves on this ministry’s “board of reference” says, “The great majority of the book (Apocalypse Code) is a rant against Hanegraaff’s distorted view of Dispensationalism in general and Tim LaHaye in particular. There is precious little actual exegesis, if any at all, to support his Preterist/idealist eschatology; however, there are great quantities of some of the most vicious tirades against LaHaye and many other Bible prophecy teachers that I have ever read in print.” This can be found on the Web site of the Pre-Trib Research Institute, www.pre-trib.org.”

Hank Hanegraaff of CRI has a staff that gets him answers. That makes him credible on many biblical topics but when Hank Hanegraaff himself steps out in areas of theology he displays a basic lack of biblical understanding. We should not be surprised that mockers like Hank Hanegraaff would come. Bible prophecy declares they will. However, we should be surprised that seven million Christians would still listen to him after all the controversy about his character. Do a search on “Hank Hanegraaff” in Google and you will get the drift without me having to go into the details.

Dominion Theology is sometimes also called “Christian Reconstructionism” or “Kingdom Now” but there are significant differences among these theologies. I have lumped all the theologies together in this article under the name Dominion Theology because popular dominionist leaders that bridge denominations and movements have blurred the distinctions. This also is the case with most of their critics. They often lump together beliefs of “Kingdom Now, Christian Reconstructionism” and “Latter Rain Theology” as if everyone agreed. There are many different religious doctrines within Dominion Theology so I include the words “many”, “most” or “some” in this article for good reason.

Much of Christianity is now traveling on very different bandwagons of dominionism but all paths lead to some form of a Christian or religious world under a government theonomy (under the law of God) or theocracy, before the return of Jesus Christ. How they get there within their own various creeds and how much control Christians will actually establish on the earth before the return of Jesus are the main differences.

Dominion Theology transcends denominations and movements. There are Calvinist and Arminian, charismatic and non-charismatic, liberal and conservative, preterist, postmillennial, and amillennial Christians who embrace Dominion Theology. Even some misguided pre-millennial post-tribulation rapture believers have bought into one or more dominionist positions. Some that have bought into Dominion Theology would also deny it. continued…

There are several prophetic pieces of the puzzle that are not fully in place, so the tribulation and the second coming is still a short time in the future. We will know that we are in the season of the events of the tribulation and the second coming of Jesus when we see the following pieces of the prophetic picture finally fall into place.
