Welcome to World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy Blog archive.

Welcome to the World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy Blog archive. This is an introduction to the archive. I am still blogging but you need to go to this link to read or comment on my posts since the fall of 2015.

This may be the first time that you came to this Blog so you may need some information on how to find and access the many articles that I have written. I am no longer posting new articles for this Blog, but most of the articles in this archive are still very relevant to world and church trends and Bible prophecy.

Heaven and Hell might not exist where most religious people think

Most religious people think that after death those that did enough good works will go up to Heaven for eternity and people who did too many bad works will go down to Hell for eternity. They might be surprised that the Bible does not agree with that premise. First, salvation depends upon faith in the Lord, not in our own good or bad performance. And second, the Bible teaches that Hell will be done away with and the Kingdom of Heaven will actually come to the Earth.

The first words in the Bible say, “In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth”.… continue reading

A mostly positive look at the world technology of 2025

Back in the 1960’s people who predicted what the world would be like today got most of it wrong. They mainly focused on transportation improvements like flying cars or other stuff that you might have seen on “The Jetsons”. They totally missed the electronics revolution and our total dependence on electronics and information databases. “Star Trek” was much closer to that reality, but that series was set centuries in the future.

Over the last 50 years, many things in the world did not change as much as people thought they would, and other things changed beyond anyone’s expectations. For example, the cars we drive have not changed that much since the 60’s.… continue reading

Religious leaders are the satanic wolves that Paul warned about

Since the time of Babel there have been prideful self-righteous religious people influencing the world that think they should be honored and set above the rest of humanity. They claim to be enlightened people who dare to speak for God and like to be called prophet, priest, reverend or some other exalted title for “holy men”. They pretend to be people enlightened by God but many of these religious leaders are actually megalomaniacs doing the work of Satan.

We see these religious examples many times in the Old Testament opposing the true prophets and anointed leadership that God raised up. When the Messiah came to Israel, it was the Jewish religious leaders that rejected Him and opposed Him.… continue reading

What do you think will happen in America and the World in 2013?

I think I wrote enough articles for a while that tell others what I believe will happen in the very near future. Now I want to hear what you readers think will happen in the United States and the world before the end of 2013?

This is a brainstorming session and I want your own gut feelings but try to base them on reasonable arguments.  I am not much interested in the views of the brain-dead. There must be other critical thinkers out there that have some worthwhile insights about where we are heading other than the talking heads on the media?… continue reading

Thor came to rule an area of the world rapidly going to the dogs!

One thing I hate at the end of year is all those articles about the year in review. After all, I lived through the year, I do not think I need someone else to tell me what happened. However, people apparently like a summary of the year around New Years so I will not disappoint them. 2011 was just another year where the world continued to go to the dogs. End of Summary. Now to end the year on a lighter note I will also let this post go to the dogs.

My wife got me a dog for Christmas. He is a 14 month old German Shepherd with a dark brown coat and his name is Thor.… continue reading

What happens when the writer and administrator gets Blog weary?

I spent most of yesterday writing and researching an article and then deleted it because I was not satisfied with my conclusions. I started writing a different post today but then looked at the statistics for the last couple of months on this Blog and wondered why I am wasting my life digging up information and writing new articles that so few people are going to read anyway. In other words, this writer and administrator is getting Blog weary.

I have to read three or more hours of news and articles each day just to keep up with things in the world and church in order to find things to write about for my posts.… continue reading

Touring America out of my mind for those preparing for TEOTWAWKI

I have been to many places in my life so I can pretty much tour America right out of my mind for those of you that are going out of your mind looking for a place to relocate so that you can prepare for TEOTWAWKI. Obviously I have not been everywhere so if you know of good places to live or a place to avoid I am sure others will appreciate your input.

I will start my preparing for TEOTWAWKI tour on the left coast:

California – Some part of California will probably appeal to everyone. It has all the climates that you can think of, it has beaches, mountains, deserts, forests, big cities and very rural remote places.… continue reading

I had a big problem with the WordPress blog software today.

I had a big problem on the server today and have been working on that for the last 6 hours. I thought I lost this whole blog. Actually I really would have had to ask the webhost to go back to their weekend backup and I would have lost anything since then. It got so bad that I could not even get into the admin area to get my own latest backup to try to restore things. I finally did get everything to work by trial and error and blind luck. The web host was really no help at all and really just made suggestions that got everything more screwed up.… continue reading

What is on your mind that you think others should know?

There are many topics that I could write about but nothing particularly strikes my fancy right now. So I am going to make this post wide open to whatever is on your mind (within reason). What concerns you and what do you have to say that you believe others reading this blog should know? If there is a lot of response this may be something that we do more often.

Here are a few examples of things you might want to talk about.

Lately leaders across Europe have been admitting that multiculturalism was a big mistake. However, realizing that it was a mistake after they created this demographic time bomb will not change the outcome.… continue reading

Give thanks to the One whom all thanksgiving is due.

I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving day with their family and friends.

Thanksgiving day is a holiday and feast day meant to to thank God for our blessings through the year and to celebrate our harvest. Even in these difficult economic times in our nation most of us can find many things to be thankful for.

First and foremost, Christians should be thankful for our salvation. No matter what happens to us on this earth we should know that we were given the promise of eternal life in a place of unspeakable joy. As I get older one thing becomes more apparent to me every day.… continue reading

Don Koenig’s World Trends Forecast for 2020-2030 AD

I made my world trend projections for the 2010-2020 decade last year. It can be found on the sidebar. Now that we are in the new decade I will go out on a limb and give my world trends projections for the 2020-2030 decade. I am not a prophet. This is offered as just food for thought. You do not need to believe anything you read here. It is extremely unlikely that everything will happen as I say here. I may modify this world trends forecast as we get closer to the start of that decade as things get clearer (if I am still around).… continue reading

The one percent rule for bloggers and latest information on this Blog

I guess it is time to tell you everything that you probably did not want to know about this blog once again.

The last post about the Mormon prophecies to establish a theocracy in America has been up for about a week now. In that week there were about 1300 views to the homepage and it would have been the first post article that anyone saw. About 300 in that week viewed that post directly from a search or a link. Of those 1600 views about one dozen people – less than one percent – actually clicked on the link and read any part of the article that I discussed.… continue reading

Changes coming on World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy Blog

*Note the part in the article about having to sign up to comment has been rescinded as of 2010. Now you just need to get your first comment approved.

There are going to be changes coming on this World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy Blog.

You might wonder why someone would even start a Christian blog that would allows anyone in the world to make comments? I like writing the articles but the criticism that often comes from Christians with liberal or aberrant views is a pain in the butt and often seems to be a planned disruption or a diversion from the person making the comment.… continue reading

Black Teflon

Amen to what this black man says about the Obama’s that nobody is allowed to criticize just because they are black. Yet, you will not hear a peep out of these same people when it does not serve there own black instructs.

Our next Teflon president?

Where is the outrage by blacks who feign insult and cry racism when Barack Obama, the potential next president, pledges his uncompromised support of abortion – and thus tangential support of Planned Parenthood?Planned Parenthood is the progeny of Margaret Sanger, who said there was an “ever increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”

Beer and wine use among Christians

I know where I stand on this issue. Drinking was in common place in the early church but obviously getting drunk and being a every day drunkard was never acceptable. Martin Luther and John Calvin and the Catholics believed it was a gift of God. It still is considered that by most in Christianity today when used in moderation. Having said that, it is not acceptable to get intoxicated in the worship service but moderate use  of alcohol should be acceptable in feasts and social gatherings.

Abuses by some led certain feminists to push their own views on everyone else through dominionist laws while most of our men were off to war.… continue reading
