Christians and Constitutional Conservatives already lost America

I think there is a fundamental error in thinking among Constitutional Conservative Christians in America. Some Conservatives and Bible believing Christians in America think that they can just elect someone and make America back into the basically Christian Constitutional Republic that it once was. Nothing could be further from the truth. A nation gets the leader that God determines that they need or deserve. Constitutional Conservatives and Bible believing Christians have already lost the American Republic. There will have to be nothing short of a moral revolution to get it back and I can prove why.

The American Public School system has become little more than a humanist communist government indoctrination system. Youth that come out of our grade school system often do not even have the reading and verbal skills to fill out a job application, nor can many make change for a dollar. Seventy-five percent of high school graduates do not have the basic skills required to proceed to college.

Ninety percent or more teachers in America believe in and teach the progressive humanistic agenda and the few that do not would not have their jobs any longer if they did not go along with that program. Your kids are being exposed to learning about all forms of sex including deviant sex in schools. They are taught that all kinds of sexual practices are normal and having sex before marriage is perfectly normal accepted teen behavior.

Your kids are being forced to take legal amphetamines (speed) in school because they have discipline problems. They are not usually told that it can stunt childhood growth and alter their brain. Your kids are exposed to illegal drugs in public schools and public schoolyards. Your kids are taught godless evolution in schools. Your kids are taught anti-American indoctrination programs and very little honest history in public schools. Your kids are taught in schools to turn in their parents that discipline them, etc., etc.

It is a very evil system but Christians have no problem sending their kids to public schools. God forbid that they might have to home school their children or pay for a private school, that might mean that they will have to give up their 200 channel TV.

The attitude of Christian parents seems to be that it is best to expose them to evil as early as possible even pre-school. Gee… those in Gnosticism believed that Christians should eagerly experience sin so that they could learn to reject it. That was labeled heretical doctrine in the early Church but it seems some “Christians” have come full circle or at least they are living in denial about our public school system.

Christian youth that were attending churches before going to college will not be attending churches after college because colleges are indoctrination centers where youth learn the ways of the world and every sort of anti-Christ doctrine. At colleges professors mock Christianity, permissiveness is the only absolute and virtue is laughed at.

The American Media is nothing but a second bastion of demonic indoctrination wrapped in the clothes of entertainment. Everything on mainstream TV is about sex, violence, sports, laughing at the expense of someone else or some liberal social agenda. American TV teaches the same crap as our schools and the media also teaches people to be disrespectful to parents and to others. Movies are most often about occult  powers and wickedness and the comedies teach the same promiscuous garbage found all over the TV. Modern American music is too often rebellious hateful sayings set to a beat to help program impressionable minds.

The American political system has a legislative branch that is mostly filled with lawyers that play lets make a deal to their own advantage rather than representing truth, justice, liberty and supporting the American Constitution. Those in our Executive Branch of government go beyond the law, selectively enforce the law or they do not enforce laws that they do not like at all. The Justice Branch often just redefines laws and makes up its own law. The Justice department in America even investigates and covers up its own illegal activity??

Federal judges overrule the votes of people living in sovereign states. The federal government federalizes state land and takes tax money from people in the states for local programs but then they return the funds to the states with all kinds of federal strings attached that the state must comply with to get their money back. The federal EPA or any other federal agency or “service” can stop economic activity in a state for just about any reason they please. There is a federal bureaucratic tyranny over the states but the state politicians just cower and obey as if they were puppets living under a federal tyranny. Quite likely that is because they allowed that federal tyranny to happen.

Most voters are ignoramus that just play pin the tail on the Donkey or the Elephant. Half the voters know nothing about the people that they vote for and their ignorance is evident by the people that they elect to office. Believe it or not, our forefathers did not set up our Constitutional Republic to allow uneducated people to have a right to vote. As we move more toward majority mob rule the moral minority will continue to lose out to the statist collectivist mob that covets the goods of everyone else and expects federal government to rob others through taxes to give it to them.

The American “Christian” religious system is filled with hypocrites, compromisers, hirelings, cowards, heretics, and dens of thieves. How many Christian pastors will even warn about the satanic evils that are influencing their congregation and American society anymore? In the name of political correctness many Christian leaders now stand for nothing. They are deluded, purposely deceptive or they do not have a clue about what they speak.

Christian leaders think that they can call Islam a religion of peace and then expect peace to come by appeasing a religion of hate. They think they can call Mormons Christians and their lies makes the people caught up in this demonic cult saved. Demonic doctrine means nothing to those that believe in Pluralism and Universalism. Hey Joel, I know you have the largest congregation in the country but  if you do not know what you are talking about in regards to Mormonism at least shut up rather than mislead people to hell! Other Christian leaders think they can stand with terrorists against Israel that only wants to live in the homeland that God gave them. These leaders call supporting killers social justice. They will be cursed by God according to scripture.

National Christian leaders now love to use mass media to express compromise with the world system in order to establish worldly social justice. They teach Christians how to live in health, wealth and prosperity and how to redefine biblical truth. With these kind of leaders, is it any wonder why those attending “Christian” churches are doing the very same things as the world in spades? Of course Christians can only blame themselves for the leaders that they elect and support. If church members obeyed God many things in the “Christian” religious system would change. The fact that Christians are not, proves that America is not going to be re-evangelized by American “Christians” by this generation.

The America correctional system is the most prolific incubator of evil in the world. People go in bad or misguided and more often than not they come out seven times as evil. We have the highest incarnation in the world at 2.3 million people and for every person in prison there are a score of criminals outside on probation or that got away with their crimes.

Gangs of criminals now control our inner cities and many gangs are now infiltrating our military to learn warfare methods. There are now 1.4 million known gang members in the United States. Our prisons have become a recruiting ground for violent and anti-American gangs.

Thanks to drug use by a very large minority of Americans, every level of police enforcement has been militarized. On suspicion of drug activity SWAT can now just break down your door in the middle of the night, throw your whole family on the floor and God forbid if you try to protect your family with a weapon from those breaking down your doors. They do not even need to get a warrant in some places. Yeah, they already have killed some innocent people. These are the “peace officers” that American lawlessness has brought about in our “land of liberty, the land of the free”

People in service positions are told that if they see something that they think might look suspicious to report it to the police. Bank tellers, WalMart clerks, UPS, your paper boy, shoe shine boys, bathroom attendants, your pizza man and most everyone else are empowered to become secret snitches reporting on what they think is the wrongdoing of someone else. Just trust service workers because they are knowledgeable about local laws, they are full of good judgment and full of integrity to be unquestionably reliable snitches on everyone else for Big Brother. Sure!

Police can now stop and search people for just about anything if it is clothed in the disguise of national security or public safety. The DWI checkpoints have now become fishing trips for any infraction of the law. There are immigration checkpoints that are really searching for drugs. There are full body searches, see through radiation devices that you have no knowledge of and cameras and microphones coming to a lamppost near you watching and listening to everyone. Now TSA empowered by Homeland Security is doing random street searches in some states and using hidden radiological devices. Just show Big Sister your intentions buddy! And you better strike the word terrorist Muslim or perverted homosexual out of your vocabulary or you may soon be arrested for hate speech if you are picked up by one of those coming lamppost mikes. Don’t even think a politically uncorrected thought because thought police will probably be reading your minds next, and how can you even prove that you thought differently?

The day after I wrote this Pastor Chuck Baldwin also wrote on the creeping surveillance society and police state.

Since 9/11 we have allowed government to make us an Orwellian society just to stop a few terrorists that come from a demographics that our government won’t even acknowledge needs to be profiled as being more likely to contain those that might want to kill us. Instead they search grandma and people that are less likely to be terrorists then the people employed in TSA and Homeland Security. People thought Big Brother would never happen in America but Big Sister already did.

If you think about it, we have let the Muslim terrorists win. By denying the truth about Islam and appeasing them, and instead hindering and harassing all American in the name of national security, we lost our liberty and the free America that we once had. (You might show Big Momma your Mexican ID or change your name to Muhammad and you will probably get a free pass from our Mexican and Islamic loving ” Justice” Department.)

So knowing these things, trying to conserve what is already gone in America is rather futile. We have already lost America to government and police control freaks, druggies, criminals, gangs, perverts, Islamists and loons. To get America back under our founder’s Constitutional is going to take a moral effort that I simply do not see happening before great chastisement in America.

And you’re probably living in dreamland if you think Christians will escape the chastisement when those called Christians have enabled and have become a large part of the problem. Even if you are not participating in most of America’s worst sins, you are dwelling in a land that will reap the consequences of its moral decline. The faithful in Israel and even the prophets reaped the consequences of the sins of Israel. They went hungry, burned dung,  and went into exile along with the rest.

The only hope for America is if there is a moral revolution and a return to God in our nation. However, that is not going to happen while Christians still send their own children through the fires of Molech (casting young minds given to you by God before the destructive public schools and media propaganda demons). God cannot continue to bless America and there is no hope for America, if there is no revolution against the reign of evil that most Americans now identify with.

  1. Hi Don, I agree. “Ichabod” came to mind while reading this. The glory has departed, so to speak. True believers are being marginalized and mocked, sometimes blamed for holding back social progress. That is fine, since Jesus said the world would hate us because it hated Him first. We are in good company. Lamplighter Magazine (David R Reagan) just came out with a cover story titled, “Are Christians Promised Victory in the End?” The answer is YES. At the present, we are like the church of Philadelphia in Revelation, “I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.” We have a little power, but not enough to change the tide. It is a post-Christian world. Maranatha

  2. Hi Don, in this paragraph which Joel are you referring too?

“Christian leaders think that they can call Islam a religion of peace and then expect peace to come by appeasing a religion of hate. They think they can call Mormons Christians and their lies makes the people caught up in this demonic cult saved. Demonic doctrine means nothing to those that believe in Pluralism and Universalism. Hey, Joel if you do not know what you are talking about at least shut up rather than mislead people to hell! Other Christian Pastors think they can stand with terrorists against Israel that only want to live in the homeland that God gave them and then call supporting killers social justice. They will be cursed by God according to scripture.”

  3. I for one am sick of people calling Mormons Christians. All you have to do is read their beliefs and see they are clearly not. That goes to Glenn beck too. Good post Don.

  4. Don,

I submitted a very similar article this morning speaking on alot of the same topics, to include Molech. We are in a sad state today. Judgment is coming.

  5. After reading that if I didn’t have Christ, I’d want to slit my throat. This world is going to hell in a handbasket and it seems America is leading the way…just as planned by the enemy. HOWEVER, if the Lord had not been on our side…We don’t need to fear. Repent, yes, but fear, no…as He is faithful to His own. We may well indeed go through the fire, but He will be with us for sure. Reading this article makes one feel hopeless but knowing Jesus, and His word, we know these things must take place as is…it will only get worse, so we better be prepared to realize that and hold onto Him through it all. And never forget that there will be a day, perhaps sooner than we think, that He will call us up to Him. In spite of how horrible things are, let it ignite us to share the truth with others so they realize how late it is and to see their need for Him as well.

  6. The United States, as a whole , has already fallen. Homosexuality abounds, Pedophiles are now sreaming for the same rights as the homosexuals, Sharia law is gradually being introduced into our society, High school students in Texas are being forced to recite Mexico’s pledge of allegiance, Christians are being singled out, Muslims are using scare tactics to discourage businesses from embracing anti-sharia campaign, Britain is yelling that the US Declaration of Independence is illegal and should be nullified….etc. Ten years ago, these were the last issues I had to worry about. I was busy thinking and planning about my future, imvestment and ultimately retirement. What the heck happened??? I never thought George Bush JR would seal the end of the sovereignty of the US for good by signing to form the North American Union in 2005 without the consent from the American people or Congress. But then again, Jesus said that in the last days there shall be no revival but things will get worse. May GOD in Heaven Bless us ALL who are faithful.

  7. Great article Don,

So, you have noticed that many of the young who work at mini-marts can become quite flustered while trying to make change also huh ?…they have become so dependent on a digital medium that figuring it out in their mind is beyond them.

I won’t even get into the writing and reasoning skills I see all the time in internet forums.

Yeah, “The American Media”…I remember when Happy Day’s & “I Dream Of Jeannie” were considered way over the top and Elvis ‘The Pelvis’ was called evil because of the way he danced…contrast that with today’s sexual promiscuous TV and commercials…and today’s violent music.

Some day Homeland Security and The Police State might love to put into practice what we saw in the movie “Minority Report”…arrest you for a crime your going to commit in the future (excluding Muslims, of course, because that would just be racial profiling).

Well, as bad as things are and as bad as things will get…I wake up every day at peace and joyful because my faith and hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  8. Greetings Don~
You’ve certainly hit this one out of the park. It is layer upon layer of debasement that has been devolving for decades. As the nation has gone, so went the church. People like Joel O. shouldn’t talk out loud. What a disaster. The media loves people like him. Christians who stand for the Truth are being marginalized more & more. If you say anything against a lifestyle that The Lord condemns in The Bible, (especially if you are in the public square, e.g. teachers), even if you say it privately, you will be in big trouble with the thought police. Freedom of speech? Only if it’s politically correct. We live in sad times, but we cling the the Savior to see us through. Difficult days are ahead for those who stand on The Word of God. I pray I am light & salt for those who are perishing. Look back to Germany in the 1920’s. It is not good where our country is & where it’s headed.

  9. Patrick Buchanan’s new book “Suicide of A Superpower” is a very good book that describes a lot of what has happened to America. Even if you don’t like the guy, it really does a pretty good job of showing how how far we have fallen. Sadly, I see no way to turn things around. The movie “Invasion Of The Body Snatchers” comes to mind.

  10. Don, it will post next Monday. I usually submit them a week or two ahead of time. “Crushed” is the title.

  11. Great article Don,

It’s like America has already turned into a pickle. This IS the judgment sent by God according to Romans 1. It just seems, as of late that the common sense has completely left the building. We definitely must be that much closer to the rapture.

    Maranatha!

  12. Don, I thought maybe you meant Olsteen. I usually don’t read anything about him because I know whatever Joel O. has to say is not according to the Word or even remotely doctrinal. I lived in Idaho for a while back in the early 70’s and worked with a couple of young fellows who had just returned from their “mission” trip. They quit trying to convert me to Mormonism, because they could not back up the book of Mormon with the Bible. The times are going to get tougher before we are taken up into Heaven. It seems as though that things are speeding up for the eventual showdown in the Valley of Megiddo(sp?). All we can do is keep telling the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those that the Spirit directs us to.

  13. Adriana,

The movie “Invasion Of The Body Snatchers” comes to mind.

Yeah, I thought of some movies that come to mind that correlate to what is happening in these United States.

For our leaders, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, and “Liar, Liar” come to mind…there’s even a movie title custom made for the liberal idiocy out there “Jackass:The Movie”.

  14. Don,

You’re being too hard our buddy, J.O.

It takes too much of his time to count the seed blessings he collects in the buckets from his collections for him to do any meaningful research on theology or Mormonism

  15. I agree, ~David. But, as you well know, it is really hard to tell you are on the site of a Catholic University – especially when it has such a deceptive name like “Catholic University.”

  16. Maybe the muslim students should attend a different school like one in Egypt, Iran , Syria.
If you don’t like the way things are , you are free to go elsewhere. These idiots and their
political correctness are starting to get on my last nerve.

  17. Hi Bob From Texas,

Yeah, us sly, tricky Christians just can’t put one over on those astute Muslims.

  18. Hi Don Fritts,

Oh no, you can’t ask the Muslims to go somewhere else, after all, Muslims have a right to continue their quest for Sharia Law in the U.S…but you CAN ban all prayer in Jesus name and whatever you do, do not have any public display of the “Nativity Scene” at Christmas as this has proven in years past to further offend atheists and Muslims alike.

  19. Hey Don Fritts,
    RE:
“Maybe the muslim students should attend a different school”

I think that they’re right where they’re supposed to be… I vote for the idea that God put them here in (probably still the most Christian nation) America!

For a Christian Born Again believer (I’m not using this term loosely) this earth is the closest thing to hell; at the same time for the lost person it’s the closest thing to heaven.

The best thing to do is to witness to them. Have them read the Bible and the koran only to compare Who’s the real and authentic Jesus. Bible or koran version. Holly Spirit will reveal.

You know those muslims… they need Jesus just like all of us do.

    God bless!!!

    Maranatha!!!

  20. Ben,

Yeah but a Catholic University is not going to be teaching Muslims about salvation through faith in Jesus. I can say that because I was a Catholic and I never learned that salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone through the Catholic Church. This university is probably not going to allow protestants to come on campus and witnesses to the Muslims at their university either. Muslims would have a better chance getting saved at a secular university.

The only reasons Muslims are attending that University is because they teach nothing about religion. That is why the Muslims even have a case. It is like Catholic hospitals. They may display crosses but they offer no Christian message.

  21. Ben ,
Agreed that muslims need Jesus equally as much as us Christians. I totally respect freedom of
relegion , but how well would it work if you or I demanded special concessions in Iran or Saudi Arabia because we are Christians. Maybe God did put some of them here to be exposed to His Truth. If they encounter me they will be told The Truth. Nevertheless , I am PROUD to be both a CHRISTIAN and an AMERICAN. Political correctness has replaced common sense for some and I refuse to travel the road of stupidity with them. BLESSINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Ben,

I think if the Muslims were immigrating to the United States to seek a better life for themselves as has been the case with some of the immigrants of the past, then you’d have a good point.

However, at every turn, I think the Muslims have made it clear that they are here in the U.S. on a mission.

There, of course, will be those rare occasions where a Muslim with an intellect might see “The Truth” but it is going to be very rare.

Remember, that in the Muslim culture, if you turn from Islam, you are subject to death, even right here in the United States as we’ve seen in the news (See “Honor Killings” by their own family) over the last few years.

The Muslims generally are not an open minded people to “The Truth”.

  23. David ,
I will pray IN THE NAME OF JESUS anytime and anywhere I feel I need to and anyone who doesn’t like it is FREE to leave the room. Recently the pastor at one of the two different churches I attend said America has become what it is today because the people asked God to leave the room and He did. He said our society has an opportunity to discover what it’s like without God being included and it may be America’s last chance before judgment.

  24. Ben and David ,
Muslims , Mormons , and others are not the enemy , they are victims of the enemy ( satan ) I really feel sorrow for all who are lost without Christ . Ephesians 6 tells we wrestle not against flesh and blood , but against the powers of darkness in high places and we know whom is directing that evil against us. Also , we are told to be strong in the power of HIS might and that is what I intend to do . Problem with me is I am still a sinner saved only by His grace and this ole Texas country boy ain’t gonna change to be politically correct.

  25. David, Don,

I couldn’t agree with you more! We don’t call these “End Times” for nothing you know…

What’s more astounding for me is this latest Barna Poll numbers (only 19% percent who call themselves “Born Again Christians” agree with basic Christian doctrines ( Jesus IS Son of God, Bible is God inspired, God Created everything, ( I can’t remember all six questions)) THAT TO ME MEANS: this next persecution is going to come from those that call themselves Christians.

I was born in Old Soviet Union. Some of my family members were persecuted for their beliefs, some were even jailed and killed. But it’s not as confusing as the current news.

  26. Don Fritts,

    I agree with you.

My style in conversing on this blog ranges from very serious to what ‘Bob From Texas’ and I liken to being sarcastically humorous to show the absurdity of what is happening in our world.

I, also, will pray in the name of Jesus wherever I want…I will not bow down to political correctness either…if I ever did, I would be guilty of denying Jesus which ain’t gonna happen…even to my death.

    As far as the Muslims…
I do believe they are on a mission as set forth by their taskmasters and they, the Muslims, do believe that Jews and Christians will be given a chance to submit to Islam or they will be killed.

Don Fritts, call the Muslims what you will but I see them as a clear and present danger to every American…and it is only a matter of time before they act on their satanic beliefs.

  27. David ,
I agree the muslims see themselves as on a mission from their “allah ” , I will NOT submit, if someone attacks me they should be prepared to die because one of us will. They are still victims of the enemy, and Jesus died for their sins as much as he died for yours and mine. He said pray for your enemies and muslims are my enemy because they made the choice to be. The dumbest thing of all their twisted beliefs is 72 virgins , I can barely deal with one wife. She is an incredible lady, but one woman is more than enough .
    Don ,
My apology , the topic is not muslims per se , but they are part of the problem because some idoits think we shold tolerate anything and anyone in this country. I will submit to Jesus only

  28. Don Fritts,

I’m sure you know that the 72 virgin nonsense is not even in the Qur’an, it is just another way for the taskmasters to motivate martyrdom.

    I always wondered…
What do the women martyrs get ?
Maybe the women are motivated by not having to deal with Muslim men anymore : )

Yeah, 72 women or polygamy…I agree, keeping one woman happy is enough…trying to keep multiple women happy ?…that’s insanity in itself.

  29. Thank you for telling it like it is. Why arent’ the pulpits aflame with this?
I am reminded of the words God told the prophet Jeremiah, “Pray not for this people.”
We desperately need for the people of God to repent, to stop playing church, to either
get in or get out. And some say persecution is coming. I wonder. We are not the made
of the stuff that people light a fire under. But perhaps when God lights the fire under
us, and we begin to feel the heat…then!

  30. Ana ,
You are so right and Don Koenig is so right, I keep praying God will send this nation a Jonah.

  31. I’m a first generation American. My husband’s family has been here since the early 1700’s and before (Native American). We are born again Christians and so our our 4 baptized, Christ Jesus confessing public school children. I went to private Christian school when I was young and my husband went to public school in PA. I’m an old NYC democrat. Pro-life.
We try to witness to Muslims we know, the atheists, the Mormons as well as lapsed Catholics and Episcopalians and Quakers (imho the best way to witness to Muslims is to LOVE them)… why are people so freaked out about Muslims but not Tom Cruise and John Travolta who are also under satanic influence?
Some Christians are called by the Lord to be in the public arena, we are not popular with principles or school boards, but we are here. We witness to the kids that come to our home and we feed anyone who walks through the door.
We know God has called us to the public schools because there is no way we could afford to send the kids to a private Christian school, and as God is sovereign over our income, we will serve Him where He put us (Him being our helper).
I believe that God will do what He wants, in His timing and He will equip the saints to deal with it wherever they may be. I think running off to the woods might be what some are called to do, but it is not what we are all called to do.
1 Peter tells women not to be afraid of anything “frightening”. American Christians need not be frightened, not even of death, it can’t separate us from the love of God (nor life) (nor anything else).
Don, your tone is angry…I think you should now list 100 things you are thankful for.
    🙂

  32. West,

Anyone who is not angry about the state of affairs in America probably has little concern for the state of affairs in America. In other words, they are enablers or they are apathetic and their inaction makes them a large part of the problem.

Tom Cruise and John Travolta are not supporting terrorists trying to kill Christians as far as I know.

The problem with the public arena is that in most areas of the country Christians have already lost the public arena largely due to apathy.

Those that say they cannot send their kids to a private school better also not have 200 channel TV and all the other toys that cost even more each month. There are many Christian schools where those that cannot pay will get scholarships paid by other Christians. Check it out. Also there is little reason why you cannot home school.

It is one thing to witnesses to your public school system and it is quite another thing to throw your kids to the dogs and expect your kids to witnesses for you . Also 1 Peter does not say what you claim and American Christians would be better off doing something about the nation than dieing because of their apathy.

  33. Hi,

Been at the Grand Canyon the last couple weeks. Took a very long road trip to go 20 miles – from the south rim to the north rim and back… what a drive… coincidentally, the brainwashing is in full force along the south rim trail – they have this “trail of time, but I call it the trail of lies or, probably impending, the time of trial… amazing how the grand canyon is an artifact of judgment and yet now it’s nothing but yet another brain washing scoffing exercise.

I can see apathy – I guess I’m in that category. I don’t have kids, and if I did they would be home schooled.

I’ve been studying ISA-18… It’s not an easy read. It could describe America / USA.. If so, it suggests that “one second after” is probably accurate. Scary, but maybe God is going to give America what is deserves.

I just got stuck with that 200 channel TV situation due to Hurricane Irene – but at least now I am no longer getting up on the roof every couple of months (safety concern — of course, I just walked 30+ miles next to “instant cliff dive”, so I guess I’m glad we made it back home in one piece… Then again, every time we drove we kept our eyes peeled for Elk. They’re every where and luckily not easily spooked.

  34. Greeting Don~
We only had one child & we decided to live in an R.V. so we could afford private school. We felt we had no other options. I drove 40 miles one way to the school & volunteered my time 4 days a week because of the gas. The remaining day of the week day I cleaned a house several miles farther to help pay for it. Long story, but we felt we were doing the right thing considering the way things are in the public school system. Our son went to private school for 3 years, after which I ended up homeschooling. I know homeschooling isn’t for everyone, but I’m glad we went that direction. I realize not everyone can do what we did & I know people want to stay in the system to witness, but we felt that was what we had to do. Our country is a mess & it’s a little overwhelming thinking about how far & how fast it’s going down. In the end wrong will be right & that’s where we are as a nation…

  35. Don I agree. Whoever isn’t mad about the state of our nation either is uniformed or has no love for America and what it used to stand for. I get very upset about what’s happening to the point it stresses me out almost daily. What’s worse is that most u try to warn say I’m crazy or an extremist. From what I see many conservatives are fed up and are almost to the point of civil war. Violence is not the answer but I can feel for them. What’s the alternative though? Letting ignorants vote in far leftists who want to destroy us?

  36. I Peter 3:6 ESV
6.”.as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you are her children, if you do good and do not fear anything that is frightening.”

    Dear Don,
I do think that the state of the USA is very important, but I do not think it is anymore important than any other country. (I guess that’s what could happen when you are first generation).

Thank you for challenging me on my sending my children to the dogs…I guess my Master will let me know if I misunderstood His will, but I appreciated the warning.

    Love in Jesus,

  37. West,

You said 1 Peter tells women not to be afraid of anything. It does not. The verse you quoted is part of a passage that tells woman how to respond to their husbands. Take scripture in context.

    1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
    3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

  38. Also, apathy means a lack of concern.
Righteous anger expresses it self in love and with action.
It doesn’t “lose it”, as in be in such a state of anger that you end of hurting brothers and sisters. It does not be-little brothers and sister in the Lord who are trying to prayerfully and in light of God’s Word to do God’s will.
If you are angry at your brothers and sister because you can’t see their hearts or know the reality of their situation (and frankly don’t seem to believe it when they share it with you) then are you really angry at sin? or just mad at not being in control?
    In my opinion,
Prayer is proof of concern. Witnessing to non-Christians is proof of concern. Feeding the poor is proof of concern. Abandoning them is more like a proof of apathy.
If you pray for your country, if you witness to the “dogs”, if you love your brothers and sisters that don’t agree with you and if you are repenting from sin, reading your Bible and praying for God’s guidance, then no matter what any man says you are prob ok.
Sorry if that sounds too harsh…but you seem to be able to dish it pretty well, can you take it too?

  39. (it is nice to be in conversation in ‘real time’..thank you)
I don’t think I was taking that verse out of context (i read the context) (didn’t quote it though…sorry)
When you read that passage, and get to the end, it clearly states, that Godly women should not be afraid.
I guess it depends on what version you are using.
    Mine is ESV.

  40. West,

What does scripture say about being a false accuser? You read things into what I said that I never said and then you accuse me of saying them. How would you know that my teaching correction to the brethren is hurting them? We are told to reproof. If I am telling my brethren the truth and they listen it will help them and save their kids from being brainwashed.

I was not writing about how one determines proof of concern. Its an apples and oranges argument. One topic has nothing to do with the other.

I also have news for you. I am not here to argue with you or be moralized by someone that does not understand what I felt it was necessary to write about. If you cannot accept my message shut your ears.

  41. It is still out of context. The subject and the whole passage is about women being in subjection to their husbands. If you take it apart and use it woodenly like you do, that means that you’re not a daughter of Sara if you are afraid of anything. That is not what this is saying.

  42. Hello Don,

Perhaps my family is the exception to the rule. My wife and I kept our son in public school, and we have had very little difficulty with any weird messages from the school district here locally. For instance, in the health classes, abstinence is taught. Premarital sexual activity is discouraged, and the negative impact on relationships taught. There are teens at the High School who meet once per week before school and pray as a group in the courtyard. This is clearly not the norm. Our son has grown knowing the Lord, and is very active in his relationship with God. We apparently have an “exception to the rule” school system. I don’t believe as Christians we are to isolate and withdraw from the world. I think that is part of the problem. Christians appear to be withdrawing from the field, instead of moving forward in love and truth. Most non Christians see “Christians” as being angry and judgemental. I must say they have some merit to their claim. There are many within the body that approach the world with anger, which is not how Jesus approached the non believers in his day. His anger was reserved for the legalistic pharisaical groups. You cannot have joy and peace and also anger and resentment. The two cannot be present in the heart. Paul clearly states we are to be “in the world, but not of it”.

I certainly do not wish to receive the wrath that previous commentors have experienced. Just sharing some of my own personal experience.

  43. Rod,

There are exceptions in the public school system. A lot depends on where you are located.

Nobody is talking about Christians isolating and withdrawing from the world. If your kids are being taught the demonic agenda described or if the happenings that are described in the article apply to the school that you send your kids then if you really care about your children’s soul you would not have your kids in that school.

Christian people willingly send their children to these cesspools and then after they are grown up and corrupted by the world they ask others to pray for their corrupted children to change. I see it all the time. Best to bring up your own child in the way he should go then try to change him after you did not.

I also do not see Christians withdrawing from the field like you indicate. It seems to me that Christians are joining the field and becoming just like the world.

Most non Christians don’t even know what a Christian is. People like to say Christians are angry and judgmental people and even Christians use that term against other Christians but I simply do not know where they attend because it really hardly ever is the case.

What non Christians see as anger and judgmental is the Christian desire for people to be just and to do what is right. In other words, they love their sins so that makes you angry and judgmental when you don’t think sinning is right? It is they that have the judgment problem.

  44. Hi Don,

Thanks for the reply. I completely agree. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. If the home environment is not teaching, guiding and loving their children into a healthy relationship with Christ.. Well… We know how that turns out. 🙂 And yes, being judgemental is certainly a problem found in all peoples.

  45. Wow! Dave Daubenmire came up with an article the next day after I posted this that hits home about our public schools. You have to read this article especially if you’re a critic of what I said about sending your kids to public schools.

I had the wrong link here so the link is in the second comment below

  46. Don, You have Spoken Words & a Position That Most Could Never Figure Out. Having The Conviction to Say Those Words is More Valuable & Educational Than Anything To-Date, & I’m Just Talking About the First Paragraph. True Christians & Phony Ones Have Needed to Hear These Truths, From God Coming Through His Disciple. I Have Never Heard Truer Words Spoken. I’ve Started This About Four Times & There is So Much More to Be Heard,Said & Written On This Ultimately Important Godly Truth. God is So Much Smarter Than Many Give Him Credit! hee-hee- Duh! Thanks Don, For Bringing This to Light for The Rest of US! God Bless You Don!

  47. Hi Don,

In early 1973 when I was a young Christian I ran into two Mormon teenagers.I mentioned that “There is only one God and mediator between God and man the Man Christ Jesus.”

One of the Mormons asked where that verse of Scripture was. I wasn’t sure but when they found the verse that I quoted one of them came running across the room all excited. What caused his reaction to this verse?

  48. This is only a thought on my part and doesn’t necessarily take into account all that has happened in U.S. history but is related to the post topic.

The “Founding Fathers” who wrote the standards for the U.S. nation in the late 1700’s tried to obviously prevent the perversions that we see today and were concerned with where the future would lead.

    My point…

The United States of America is a very young nation and it only took about 240 years to destroy everything this country was supposed to stand for.

That’s only approximately 5 generations or life cycles to completely distort and destroy all that was established from the Founding Fathers of the U.S. Constitution.

I certainly don’t need to list all the things going on today to validate my point…however, I find it amazing how quickly this all happened to a country that was put together with apparent fail safe’s to prevent the vary thing we see today.

  49. Don,

Thank you for being kind. This was a missed witnessing opportunity. The verse is from I Timothy 2:5. This verse tears holes in the entire Mormon religion. Had I been more in tune with what was happening the boy would have probalbly converted on the spot.

Most of us will share our successes. We need to keep failures in mind to prevent us from repeating past mistakes. I lived in a small town where everyone was aware of my conversion. I went from one of the town drunks to an on fire Christian in one day.

I told everyone about my Jesus. Even the local astrologer converted. I only mention that to keep us all aware that no one is to far gone to be reached with the Gospel of Truth. Thank you for your ministry. The things coming upon this earth are very sobering. We need to share Jesus with as many as we can before it is too late.

  50. I’m 63 so I had to search my memory banks to remember a true conservative president watching out for we the people. That would be Dwight D Eisenhower. For you young fplks go to youtube and choose the president’s outgoing address.
I have written Pres Obama more than 20 times. I point out to him and his admin that the muslems control
    6.1 MILLION
square miles in the Middle East. The Jewish folks only control ~8k square miles (k=1000).
I also pointed out that the quality of life for the muslems living in Israel is much better if said muslems choose to live in peace.
But we then have Henry Kissenger who told Pres. Nixon back in 1972 (I believe) not to send the weapons Golda Meir of Israel desperately needed. Let the Jews suffer he said. And he is a jew. Traitors come from Both parties!
