Imagine evangelists missionaries and martyrs occupying the occupiers.

There are many Christian teachers that teach that Christians should go in and occupy or possess the land. There are other Christians that want financial support to go into foreign lands to be missionaries. However, missionaries are needed right here and now in our inner cities. Other Christians think that they were called to be evangelists but they mostly evangelize the already evangelized.

To be honest. I have not encountered any Christians that want to be martyrs for Christ (Being martyred for religion seems to be a Muslim thing, it has something to do with hate for their own life, and the perks). Nevertheless, I am sure some Christians would become real martyrs for Christ if they try to evangelize some of these pagan radical flee baggers that are now occupying our cities.

So I have a challenge for all those that know that they are called of God to the mission field or into a ministry of evangelism. Start right here. The occupying flee baggers are an over-ripe field for the harvest if we ever smelled one. These Godless kids need to hear the gospel of salvation and they have conveniently clumped together in parks and in downtown city areas in cities all over this nation. They are making it exceeding easy for those called into this ministry to get on a soapbox to evangelize them (please leave the soap in).

Hey, just think of it. It will be just like in the days of the Book of Acts when Paul and Silas went to the market squares and preached the gospel. Now you also can have that opportunity to stand on a soapbox and preach to hundreds of people at one time. Can you image (sorry John Lennon) an inner city area invaded by scores of Christian evangelists and true missionaries all on soapboxes preaching the good news to these wayward pagans that want humanistic Marxism and perhaps some unknown god? What an opportunity the called have here to preach the true gospel to them.

Sure they will kill some of you, but what the heck, at least you will have made a difference in the world. You’re going to die anyway if these brainwashed pagans gain control and have their way with us Bible believers. Better to try to convert them before that happens.

If nothing else, if the gospel is heard, the national media will lose interest in the flee bagger movement because they cannot allow the name of Jesus to be heard on the air. So without national coverage the agitators will have lost their own soapbox and George Soros funded organizations will stop providing them free pizza with condoms. Then they will have to go home to mommy and take a bath.

So at the very least you will be responsible for help stopping what might become the most destructive movement in the Western world and community health hazards as well. Imagine that!

Sure, they will somehow start fights so that the police will arrest you for just preaching at them, and they will certainly spit at you, and cuss at you, and throw things at you, but if you get arrested you will have all those people in jail to preach to that will also spit on you, cuss at you, etc. On the bright side, I am sure some Christian free speech advocacy group will provide you with lawyers. At least you are not likely to get 39 lashes like Paul. You might get stoned though before you are even taken into custody.

Ever wonder what it will be like for the 144,000 during the tribulation that are given the commission to preach the gospel of the coming kingdom to the world? Why not find out?

Can you imagine if just one mega church got a thousand of their people together and occupied with the occupiers? Now that would be real one-on-one evangelism. Why does your church want its members to get together $100,000 to send forty people to fly to Haiti for a week or two to help build a church building that the Haitians could build for a tenth of the cost of your trip? Is it just so people can pretend to be a missionary team and get their missionary ticket punched while taking something near an exotic vacation with a tax write off?

Our cities are the main mission field now and you could be doing the real thing right here. You can truly be an evangelist or missionary in our inner cities and probably even get fed by the same people that are funding this rebellion to boot (at least until the organizers catch on).

Can you imagine if a group of churches got together in these over one thousand cities where the flee baggers are now infesting and they went downtown and outnumbered, out occupied, out shone, and thus scattered the flee biting occupation? There are more of us than them. Besides, we have truth and a cohesive message of salvation but they are just ignorant dupes thinking the productive ants that built the hill own too much of the hill even while they freeload all over the hill.

They do not see that they have become programed brainwashed robots by the real control freaks that are hidden and protected within the government, education and media system. The Queens continue to run the statist collective ant hill that they have mindlessly become a part of.

These kids are being exploited by mind control techniques and useful idiots that are themselves controlled by collectivist ant farm designers and Borg leaders like George Soros. They send in anarchist puppet clowns like Moore, Barr, Penn, Baldwin etc., to make the other clowns like Obama, Polosi, Sharpton, Jackson, etc., seem almost serious and logical. They will keep promising their stooges more bread and circus until there is an unsustainable planned die off.

There are churches that are saying that they intend to take their city for Christ. How do these people even expect to do that when they stay in their church buildings play acting? Here is your opportunity to take those that are occupying your city streets for Christ. Go for it!

You people in the Charismatic, Word of Faith churches, and other dominionist churches, how do you think that you are going to go in and possess the land and take dominion over the earth if you cannot even take dominion over your own city square? Put some action where your mouth is. Send in the prophets and your signs and wonder miracle workers that you so love to claim. Let them do the signs and wonders that some of them claim they do so well in deepest Africa or behind church doors. Let them do their magic show right in the streets of inner city America. You’re not going to argue that these brainwashed, pot smoking, undisciplined permissive kids are not pagan enough for you, are you? Show the world your spiritual power and not just hype it to each other.

Okay, I think you should get the picture. The Church has a great opportunity here to evangelize the flee baggers if the Church gets out of their own kitty box, takes a look at the state of affairs in America and gets serious. Others making claims about supernatural powers, have an outstanding opportunity for a real life reality check.

  1. Hey Don:

Your posts crack me up and make me cry at the same time. They are so true and “in your face”, it reminds me of passages of the Old Testament where the Lord rebukes the leaders and people that are going astray. I am blessed that my oldest daughter is involved with a small group that do just what you are suggesting, by going out to the city neighborhoods in the worst sections and they bring tables set up with food and clothes and they set up their music equipment and sing and worship and then minister to the people. It’s exciting to hear about what the Lord does with these young people and how they are trying to touch those that so desparately need the Lord. You’re right, we have a ready-made audience in these occupying groups and we need to see that the harvest is ripe. Also, I’d just like to let everyone that has prayed for me know that I did not get the job, it was close, but no cigar. I’m still looking and God is good. I don’t want to take up a lot of space with my stuff, as this forum is specifically for commenting on the topic at hand and I want to abide by Don’s wishes about this, as I have seen other really good blogs start to go downhll from commentors that basically try to take over. Anyway, I’m just glad that Don has this blog up and running and I really appreciate it. Thanks Don!! God bless all you guys!! 🙂 Amen!

  2. Don, What a wonderful idea, you are absolutely right, it would be a great opportunity to proclaim Gods message that way to all of those lost souls who don’t know any different and maybe have never heard the gospel. That is my desire to proclaim the gospel to the lost, although my situation at home is a little difficult my husband is an unbeliever and is Jewish, and wants nothing to do with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have witnessed to him and do tell him he must believe in the Son of God for salvation and forgiveness of sins. I pray for him everyday and try not to push Christianity on him only pray and wait on the Lord. There is so much i want to share with him but he doesn’t understand and does not want to hear what i have to say, so i keep it in my heart and pray that God will have mercy on him. I think of my husband and how he could be used of the Lord to reach out to his own kind the Jewish people only if he believed, how exciting it would be for me and a blessing to his unbelieving Jewish family, it makes me sad because i know the truth and pray that he will get saved. I feel so alone in my Christian walk i get really discouraged because in my household i am the only one that is a believer and it is really tough because my immediate family wants nothing to do with Jesus. But given the opportunity i do witness to my family although they don’t want to listen either. Please pray for my husband and my family that God will have mercy on them and that they could come to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  3. Lisa ,
Sorry to hear you not have found employment , you remain on my PUSH list. BLESSINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Lisa, just as a reminder I do allow people to get off topic on my monthly perspectives posts.

Thank you Lisa and Ruby for sharing your lives here. We know God is aware of your situation and He will provide.

  5. Lisa, you remain on my PUSH list also.

Warning to anyone who tries to “take over” this blog. Don still operates Don’s Deep Dark Dank Dungeon of Doom. No survivors or escapees are known to exist.

  6. Bob from Texas ,
Thank you in going me in praying for Lisa.
    Don ,
If you didn’t allow us to get off topic sometimes you might have to shut down the blog. I agree with your conclusions about the protesters. There is a lady in Wichita named Jennifier Shively who does exactly what you suggest. Every Sunday afternoon she has ” Church on the Street” in an area of downtown Wichita. Her ministry is mostly to homeless people and she is there every Sunday loving those people. Can’t wait for winter , I doubt the protesters will be there when it gets really cold and starts snowing. They should be offered jobs shoveling snow , no wait , that’s actually work they would turn down.

  7. Don,

I let people get off topic some I just do not want a post to digress into an entirely different topic for long.

    Bob,
How did you know that I have that sink hole on my property?

  8. Please: I could use everyone’s prayers as I do a bit of what Don has suggested among a very marginalized group of people here in Asheville and the surrounding region. (Thank You)

Abba, please continue to work in the circumstances of Lisa and several others who have expressed their needs here, many need work and all need sustenance! My friends and I have been blessed to see You move in wonderful ways of extravagance lately in big and in little things. Oh, Spirit, please intercede for Don and this family of readers and contributors! Please continue to meet our needs and continue to make Your wants our wants, as we grow in Christlikeness. Please help each of us with our struggles, our sin, our afflictions, our “stuff.” Help us to give You each thing in faith so that the outcomes will be glorifying to You. We want our time here on earth to count for You in eternity; we want to be used in the harvest of souls, and in those areas of Your redemptive work that You have prepared for us in advance to do. We praise You, Lord, our first Love: Father, Jesus and Spirit!

  9. Hi Don,

I read your blog regularly, but have never posted. I just wanted to let you know that there ARE evangelists “out on the streets” — and it is not an easy task. The college campuses are filled with students that simply absorb all the evil rhetoric taught in their classes and spew it at those who try to share the gospel. My husband has had things thrown at him, he’s been spit it, had the police called…the list goes on and on.

He (and many others) also go to other events to share the gospel and go onto the “streets” to share Christ. This world IS growing more wicked and becoming more bold in their stance against TRUE Christianity. But I just wanted to give you a little encouragement in the midst of it all, that there are witnesses on the front lines – in the cities, on college campuses, etc.

And I do know that some of these men have decided to go to where these protests are happening to share the gospel. But don’t expect to hear about that on the news!!

    Wendy

  10. Hi Wendy,

That is great news. I knew there was some in the cities, but we still need a overwhelming response to the flee bagger mission field that even the media cannot ignore

  11. I enjoy your articles but I must inject that many cities do have envangelists in them including my own large city. I have been apart of going down town to witness. The problem is rejection of the Gospel. Most in America have heard it with their ears, not with their heart. Most large cities I have been to have some sort of Christian out reach in the inner cities.

  12. Don’t worry Don, after the 11-11-11 event in the Rose Bowl, the “flee bags” are sure to catch the overflow! That is if the Rapture doesn’t take the Christians home first. Now, who’s going to tell the “bags” that the Fed is private?

  13. J. B.,
I am not just talking about a few going to these flee bagger people to preach at them. I want them to occupy with them and to be a Christian counter-force that will steer the course of events in a different direction than the Marxist agitators want to take these young dupes. There are more of us than there are of them if Christian churches would just take on this mission.

  14. Gary,

I doubt it. This is more of what I was talking about in the post. It is all in-house presumptions claiming spiritual powers but no real action to take dominion of the real world. Take it to the inner city mission fields and then maintain your spiritual strongholds there through these self anointed prophets and wonder workers and people might be more inclined to believe that God is even in this signs and wonders movement.

  15. The problem with so many churches is that evangelizing or helping people in this country is just not exciting enough for them. The church I had gone to for a few years was all about sending their people to Africa or Mexico. Not once did they ever have trips planned for anywhere here in the US. That’s one of the reasons I no longer attend that church. If ever there was a place that needed the word of God preached to them, it’s right here, but alas, Africa just makes for better sermons. Makes them feel really self righteous and good. Sad, but true.

  16. Adriana

I am part of an Internet Bible College with a free two year course to Diploma level (Premil, pretrib, dispensational).

The southern African nations have by far the most enquirers and applicants and successful students, more than the rest of the world put together.
This may be because of the abject poverty there (the only education they can afford has to be free), but just the enquiries alone suggests a positive volition that we in the west should be mindful of. Many Pastors there are crying out for teaching, and Bibles and Christian literature.

My own experience here in Australia tallies with the comments made to me by contacts in the US that there is a dearth of that positive volition in the West.

Do we neglect our neighbours, NO, hard times may give us opportunity, but there is a hunger in the third world, especially among southern Africa Christians.

    However beware of charlatans.

  17. Ruby, I saw this comment on your post:

“I get really discouraged because in my household i am the only one that is a believer and it is really tough because my immediate family wants nothing to do with Jesus.”

I have a friend who is in a similar situation. Her family scoffs at her and tells her she needs therapy. Camping and Rick Joyner/Todd Bentley are continually thrown in her face.

I have never thought of Joel Rosenberg’s book as an evangelical tool. But, my son keeps a copy on hand to give to scoffers. Since it is written by a Jew (believer)about the brewing Iranian/Russian attack on Israel, your hubs may be interested in reading it.

  18. Bob, thank you for the suggestion, I know the book of Joel Rosenberg’s you are talking about I’ve seen it in the book store but never read it my self. I my self would not think of it as a evangelical tool either but it’s worth a try. Anything to win a soul to Christ is worth the effort.

  19. Hi Ruby,

Rosenberg’s book is a novel – but explains Ezekiel 38 and 39 quite nicely. There are no curse words or sexual encounters in it. If your hubs will agree to read the first few pages, it has a way of drawing the reader in. (You can probably read the first part standing at the bookshelf).

The book has been in circulation for awhile. You can probably obtain a copy for $5 – $6.

  20. Rosenberg has written a number of novels. He is just coming out with a new one this month I believe. It is about Israel and Iran I think.

  21. Hallo Don,
Whilst some of the Ammerican missionaries in South Africa is doing what God has called them to do, most of them warms the front seats of our churches and can even become a burden to that particular church. Especially if there is whole families to take care of.It seems as if missionaries almost always have lots of kids.
There is a tremendous amount of filth spilling from the USA in to my country especially from the media, which covers our land like black mud and devours children and adults.
I agree, let us start at the beginnig that is with our ownselves, families, neibourhoods, towns.cities etc. But never try to do this regeneration work in the flesh. It will never work. The work can only be accomplished if led by the Holy Spirit.

  22. Bob, Epicenter is the book i knew about, i was aware it had to do something with Ezekiel 38 & 39 but never read the book myself. I’m going to buy the book in hopes my husband will read it.

Don, thanks for the links on Joel Rosenberg’s books.

  23. Only American missionaries in South Africa I know of is the mormons. These guys are allergic to speaking in front of crowds. They have to find the wounded gazelle. Anyway, how about going into an islamic nation and preach, that should be interesting.

  24. Hi Don~
We started supporting native missionaries years ago as it just makes more sense. They can live & move within their land much cheaper than we can. Plus, they know the language & culture. As for here in the U.S. there are some Jewish outreach ministries e.g., Jews For Jesus, who do street campaigns for Jesus! 🙂

  25. I was just wondering, Don, when you were planning on going and occupying with the “flea baggers”. You’re saying we should be willing to be spit on, cussed at, arrested, or even killed. But are you? Or is your ministry about telling others to do what you aren’t willing to do yourself?

  26. First off Gary, I never said that anyone should be willing to be cussed at, arrested, or even killed. I said that this would happen if Christians tried to preach to these flee baggers.

This website ministry takes absolutely all of my time. I cannot be writing, administrating this website and answering people like you and preaching in some big city at the same time even if I was called to do that, and I am not. I also do not claim that Christians can take their city for Christ like so many in the pulpit ministry claim that their congregation should do. Nor do I claim to be an evangelist or a missionary. Nor do I claim supernatural gifts are being poured out so that Christians can take dominion of the earth like the signs and wonders people claim.

My calling is this writing ministry and writing what I write already puts me under more personal risk than you might think. If people have the gift of evangelism or are called to be a missionary or want to show their special anointing with the signs and wonders that they claim, they now have the perfect opportunity to carry out that calling right here in our cities.

  27. Amen and Amen. I’ve been telling other Christians for a long time that we need to start sending missionaries to cities here in the USA. I usually get a polite smile in response and the topic quickly changes. I don’t live far from York,PA which has gone from a pretty nice city in thirty years to a violence-infested, gang over-run hellhole. I haven’t really prayed about minsitering in York but your post is causing me to seriously consider it.

  28. Chris,

My wife was saved by someone from Nigeria that was being a missionary to our country while also attending college here.

  29. I live in a town in NC and in the past year have had teenagers hit me, threaten to hit me, neighbors curse me and generally hate me and my family. And it was not from preaching on the corner but for just being here and standing for the truth of God.
I am not complaining because God is ever present but this is a mission field, one with a church on many cormers but not much light.
I am an older woman (57 yrs) so imagine what the elderly will have to go through in the not so distant future.

  30. Don, I believe you probably meant to write that your wife was saved by “Jesus Christ”, through the gracious effort of the Holy Spirit, and this young gentleman witnessed to your wife of God’s saving grace in His life ,along with bringing her the Gospel – probably from an accurate scriptural perspective. I know what you meant…. But it sounds sort of like “he” saved her in your post above.

“My wife was saved by someone from Nigeria that was being a missionary to our country while also attending college here”

  31. Al,

I said what I wanted to say and Christians knows what the terminally I used was saying. I really do not need being corrected by you on my blog for not wording things exactly the way you want them worded. If you have nothing better to do with your time than look for things like this to critique your wasting it.

  32. Maizie, for your encouragement:
Many years ago when my wife and I were young we lived in a flat. Another young couple moved in next door. We said hello and were pleasant but never had a God given opportunity to give an account of our beliefs, neither did we ‘make’ any opportunity.

After several months the young wife came to my wife to know what it was we had, saying “We were told not to take the flat because “those people next door are religious and will badger you with their religion. You have never spoken about God but since we moved in I can’t get God out of my mind”.

That ‘girl’ is now a Christian of forty years standing.

Things are far worse today, yet these people around you are and will be without excuse, for God has had his witness amongst them and they have failed to hear His voice and seek the truth.

  33. Sorry Don, I didn’t mean to upset you by correcting you. I was just a bit confused by the whole sentence. Including about the man attending college in this nation BUT that he was also a missionary. The whole post just intrigued me is all. I wil do my best to stay on topic and not correct anyone anymore.
