Many calling themselves Christian join a Revelation Harlot

Most people who claim to be Christians in this postmodern generation say they follow Christ. However, their world views and beliefs display that the Christ that they claim to believe in, is not the Jesus Christ that the Bible defines. These pseudo Christians have worldly humanistic world views. They do not have a biblical Christian worldview. They are usually found on the wrong side of most moral and biblical positions.

Christianity is just a religion that they were brought up in or talked into. They follow teachings of religious men, but do not follow the teachings of God. They do not even know what God said, because they show little interest in learning the Bible at all.

These may attend Sunday School for various reasons, but that does not mean that they attend to learn any absolute truths from God. And the magazine studies now found in almost all Sunday School classes rarely teach anything that would teach these people Christian worldviews.

Many of these pseudo Christians claim that they believe the Bible, but the positions that they take on many issues shows that they have no knowledge of it, no understanding of it, or they just do not believe what God said. They do not have a clue about how to defend their faith because their faith is based on nothing more than their religious feelings rather than on anything that God actually said in the Bible.

Back before World War II, the record shows that one-third of Baptists voted that they believed that Hitler was a born again Christian because he claimed to be one. I am not picking on Baptists, except they are called “the people of the book”. Thus, they should have more biblical discernment than most others. Has Christian discernment improved any in the American Baptist camp with the present lawless administration that many Baptists helped vote into power twice? I think not. And, if there is little discernment with “the people of the book”, what hope is there for any Christian discernment in more liberal denominations?

How do you explain a nation that claims to be mostly Christian but buys into the demonic “progressive” (fascist police state) godless agenda that will bring America to its ruin and bring about persecutions on Christians that believe the fundamentals of the faith?

I would be willing to bet that almost half of the Baptists in this nation would still vote that Obama is a Christian just because he says so, in spite of all evidence given by his actions that He is antichrist. I am not even talking about those in more liberal denominations. I am talking about Baptists that claim to believe that the Bible is God’s inerrant word, and also about the Baptist leaders that will say nothing to warn their congregation about the dangers of this godless administration.

Most going to our churches won’t read the Bible, but they will read books that appear Christian but twist the scriptures, or reveal “new revelations”. Then the readers will tell everyone how they were blessed by these heretical books and spread the heresy around. I will just name a few still making their rounds in Christendom: Jesus Calling, Heaven Is for Real, The Shack, The Circle Maker, One Thousand Gifts, Love Wins, Not to mention, that some popular “Christian” books are extremely presumptuous and/or use unacceptable psychologies, worldly worldviews, or strange unorthodox exegesis. It seems that many, if not most, of the more popular authors in Christendom write some heresy these days. Many New Age books like The Secret are also believed by “Christians”.

The Harlot woman who rides the Beast written about in Revelation 17 has apparently started an expansion program that will bring the whole world into a religion of harlotry, but almost no one in Christendom is aware of what is taking place. There is even the rumor that Pope Francis will call for a Nicene Council in 2025 to establish a new Christian Orthodoxy for the 21st century. Whatever would emerge from such a council, with the beliefs of our religious leaders today, aptly might be called the blood covenant of the Harlot.

I will paint you a picture of the Harlot and her future. The Woman is religion that claims there is one God in Heaven but lives like He is deaf, dumb, and blind. She can be identified through the three major world religions that are monotheistic. They are Judaism, Christendom, and Islam. All claim to be the people of God through the seed of Abraham.

We see that this Harlot woman is drunk on the blood of the true saints of God (Rev 17:6). The Jewish religious leaders killed the true prophets of Israel and the early saints of the Church. Christendom killed the saints that would not submit to the Satanic system that was set up within. Islam is killing those that confess that Jesus is Lord. All three killed the true saints of God, in the name of God, but claim to be the people of God.

Soon the religious leaders of these three bloody religions will unify their Harlot theologies for the sake of false world peace. They will think that they are doing God a favor by killing those claiming that Jesus is the only way to God. The opening of the 5th seal in Revelation speaks about what the Harlot did in the past and what she will do in the last days to God’s elect.

The Islamists will bring about a world war and all three religions will be involved. Someone will come to power that will stop the wars with a peace platform. That peace platform will appease the three religions into Harlotry and violence. World religious and secular leaders will arise and say that for the sake of world peace, religious holy books will have to be censored and a common belief in God determined. Anyone that does not agree with the unified Harlot will be a threat to world peace. If they do not recant, they will be killed. As scripture indicates, by the promise of peace, many will be destroyed.

The Jews will agree, but two witnesses will soon arrive in Jerusalem that will oppose the world Harlot. The world will seek to destroy these two messengers of God but those that seek to kill them will only bring destruction on their own head until the 1260 days of their testimony are completed. Meanwhile, the Harlot will continue to kill God’s elect on earth.

I also believe the two witnesses will demand that the nations return all Jews to Israel in preparation for the coming of their Messiah. There very well could be two forms of Dominion Theology on the earth at the same time. One comes from the followers of the lies of the Harlot and the other comes from the followers of the truth given by the two witnesses.

After the two witnesses give their testimony, God will allow the Son of Perdition to come out of the pit. He is also known as the Antichrist. He will kill the two witnesses. The whole world will rejoice because these two prophets of God tormented all nations that opposed sending back the Jews to prepare for a Jewish Kingdom ruled by their promised Messiah.

After the religious wars, ten leaders of ten world zones will be set up. The ten zonal leaders may hate the Harlot because these secular leaders may hate being controlled by religious Dominion Theology with her made up God. After a world leader gets a deadly head wound but lives, he kills the two witnesses. He will then enter the Jewish Temple and declare himself to be above anything called God. The ten world zonal leaders will give their support to him and proceed to burn the religious Harlot that they hated. At that point, only the worship of the earth-bound Beast/Antichrist will be allowed.

A False prophet will arise showing great signs and wonders and deceive all those that hated the truth given by the two witnesses. He will convince the world that the risen world leader is the most high God (probably Zeus). The world will become so convinced of His power that they will even dare to war against Jesus at His coming.

That could be a very brief account of the next two decades, but very few calling themselves Christians are even aware that the first part of the scenario may now already be underway with the rise of the Islamists. The violence is increasing and it will soon literally explode all over the world. Jesus said it would be like before the days of Noah just before He returns. The Bible tells us that before the days of Noah there was a population explosion on the earth and the earth was filled with violence. That time is upon us through Islamic terrorism.

Today, the Jesuit Pope and interfaith believers are trying to put world religion under the power of the Vatican. They are making progress. The Word Faith Charismatics and the New Apostolic Reformation Dominionists are being sucked under Rome. Just yesterday I saw a picture of Kenneth Copeland and New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) leaders sitting around a table talking with the Pope. Joel Osteen met with him only weeks ago. The Anglicans and Orthodox are also ready to embrace Roman Catholicism.

It is not just the Charismatics and the Catholics without the Pope that are being sucked back under Rome. Rick Warren and many New Evangelical leaders claim that the demonic Babylonian influenced Roman system is Christian. Warren calls the Pope his Papa and promotes Chrislam and global social justice (communitarian socialism), as does the Pope. By the way, last I checked, Rick Warren was still a member of the globalist CFR and is a board member of Tony Blare’s interfaith Faith Foundation.

Pope Francis recently even allowed the Jews and the Muslims to say public prayers in the Vatican for the first time in history. He thinks they all pray to the same God even through the God of the Jews and the Muslims deny the Son of God that created them. And the Lord did not do it through evolution like this worldly Pope also believes.

There is a movement rising in the Calvinist camp that is promoting Christian Reconstruction where the Church supposedly takes power over the nations and rules the world before Jesus returns (Theonomy). Those in Charismatic Word of Faith and the NAR camps are saying the Church will take over the world prior to the Lord’s return. All these movements tie into Dominion Theology and that is contrary to what the scripture teaches about the end times.

Many New Evangelicals are promoting reading the Catholic mystics and following their mystical practices to hear from God. Who needs the Bible anymore when New Evangelical leaders tell you that you can hear from God by just emptying your mind and listening for His still small voice? That is not how God is heard by Christians, we are not Elijah the prophet. God already gave us His word through His Old Testament prophets and apostles. Today, God gives revelation through His infallible written word, not subjective voices in one’s head.

You are not an Old Testament prophet, and you cannot hear new revelation in your head, even if Beth Moore claims that she can and says you need to do likewise. The NAR even has schools where you can learn how to become a prophet and get direct messages from God. It is hard to believe that so many calling themselves Christians could be that deceived and that gullible, but the fact of the matter is that they are.

Beth Moore is just another one that is joining with this counterfeit movement because she is a woman not under a covering and she left herself exposed. She is being deceived and influenced by the demonic elite that now controls much of the leadership of the Charismatics.

Moore is now teaching others the same heretical errors that she bought into. Yet, she is an idol in all the Baptist woman’s groups and promoted by LifeWay. She displayed her true colors recently as a speaker to 11,000 Women of Faith at Joel Osteen’s Word of Faith Church. She commissioned the women and they all recited Moore’s own great commission to each other like Beth Moore was God’s mouth piece and a Joyce Meyer clone.

Don’t be deceived, Beth Moore has gone off the Baptist rails. She believes that she gets direct Revelation from God and she teaches it. It is time that Baptist pastors get a clue about the influence of Beth Moore and about what LifeWay promotes in their congregations.

Most Christians are still figuring out how to achieve their best life now, and running to and fro to get someone to itch their ears with a new revelation from God, as the end of the Church age is about to arrive.

The violence will increase for the rest of this decade and into the next, but, into the next decade, the Harlot probably will have her time, followed by the time of the Antichrist. The stage is already being set up for the Harlot through the religious violence and the false gospel of unity among faiths and Dominion Theology.

It is the coming wars and the Harlot’s promise of peace that will help set her up in full regalia at the Vatican within this generation. I also expect demonic signs and wonders to accompany her.

Yet, here we are at the end of the age, and most in Christendom are playing church like the world will go on as it always has. It will not. The Rapture will likely come during the times of the religious wars or soon thereafter, but who will have oil in their lamp? Those that do not, will endure the trials that will come upon the whole world to test them (Rev 3:10).

It is time to get serious. Your religion will not save you. Your church with its many programs will not save you. Prosperity teaching and abundant living teaching will not save you. Voices from a made up Jesus of your own mind will not save you. Only Jesus Christ of the Bible can save you, but He is only saving those that actually trust in Him.

  1. Hi Don,
I enjoyed the article. Very true. There are so many misleading heresies cropping up. Well.. Rehashed false ideas that have come around again.

You mentioned “oil in our lamps”… Do you have an article on your site about that? Or could you expand your thoughts on what that means?

    Rod

  2. Hi Rod,

I think you know the story.

Matt 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

It means what it says. The foolish will not be ready when Jesus comes to take the virgins to the marriage in Heaven. Some think it is talking about Israel but Israel has no oil in them before they believe (the lamps are the vessel that hold the oil, probably our soul, and oil is the Holy Spirit that indwells true Christians).

  3. Thanks Don,

That is what I thought… But wanted to double check and see what your thoughts were.

  4. Don, I am not attending any church. I am totally convinced that all of them are completely compromised!!!! I read my bible….I pray….I study the Word daily. I would love to fellowship with other Christians…but…I can’t find any!!! By “fellowship” I do not mean potluck! I do not mean social club….I mean deep discussions about the bible and deep discussions about souls and salvation. I do not fit this world we live in and I am very glad I don’t! Just had to vent that, Don…I love your site.

  5. Vatican astronomers at the Mount Graham observatory in Tucson, AZ have named their infrared telescope LUCIFER and the church is in the process of preparing the world for an alien encounter. The Pope recently stated he would baptize little green men. Don, do you have any thoughts how this might play out. I could see this as an alternative way to bring the world together to believe in the same entity as god. 2 Thessalonians 2 could be warning of this scenario. There is no other time in history I would rather live than in these days, trust in the Lord who is in total control provides such peace and comfort, knowing His return is soon makes each day more exciting than the last.

  6. Hi dettemc,

    Thanks.
In my experience, most churches have at least a small core group of true Christians. You cannot seek them out if you go nowhere. Remember they need your spiritual gifts as much as you need theirs.

  7. Hi Stephen,

I do think that fallen angels will claim to be from another dimension or world. I think the Alien thing is probably the great deception that God will allow. It also could be the reason for the burning of the Harlot. These beings probably would not actually appear on earth before the abyss is opened but there could be messages and signs before that.

  8. Truth is proclaimed once again!

The common thread among believers who are deceived is “self”. The “many” in Matthew 7:22 are the most. Most believers are spiritually immature, self-seeking, spoon fed, bottle feeding babies content with milk and honey rather than eating the meat of prophecy in order to grow up spiritually. They can’t be bothered with Truth. They have one foot in the world, and the other foot in the Kingdom, and they are clueless as to who the real Jesus Christ, the God of the bible, is. These foolish Christians’ lamps are low on Holy Ghost oil because they continue to quench the Holy Spirit of God with the pride of self-righteousness. They may be sincere and they may claim devotion to Jesus Christ, but they are unwittingly operating in the power of their own flesh, which is unacceptable to God. It’s a dangerous position to be in, with serious consequences.

Judgment starts in the House of the Lord. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:43 KJV “But know this, that if the goodman (pastors, church leaders) of the house (household of faith) had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up”.

  9. “…I also believe the two witnesses will demand that the nations return all Jews to Israel in preparation for the coming of their Messiah.”

Don: I know the two witnesses will torment the world [Rev. 11]. How did you determine the witnesses are persecuted for demanding that the nations return all the jews to Israel? Does this have anything to do with Deut 30:1-9?

As usual, this is a great and timely article!! 🙂

  10. Hi Roz,

I don’t think persecution is the right word to use for the two witnesses. They will have complete control. No one will be able to harm them until their 1260 days of their testimony is completed. Only then will God allow them to be killed.

I think they will demand Israel will be let out of the nations the same way that Israel was led out of Egypt. Through judgment if they do not comply. Even the plagues we see in the Trumpet Judgments are similar. It is not directly connected to Deut 30:1-9 but God does say that he will bring His people back, and says He will plead with the nations for Israel in Joel 3:2. I am assuming that he does the pleading through Moses and his sidekick.

  11. Hello Don. I have really appreciated this site since finding it early this year.
Before this site I would look at the predicted events and try to assess the accuracy in light of the bible, ex. 2012 Mayan calendar,Hal Lindsay, 4 blood moons, etc. I always sensed that there were bible prophecy that had to be fulfilled before the final days could begin. After reading your posts and the comments I do not waste time on these fads as they were and are dejecting when you come to expect and it does not happen. Thanks Don.
Now, as to the specific reason I am commenting. I believe you may be wrong about the witness being Moses as he experienced death but Elijah and Enoch did not. I believe God took them before death especially for the purpose of the 1260 days witness. This then limits man to only one physical death. I will gladly await further comment from you and your readers to assess the accuracy of such.

  12. Hi ceSmith,

I have been back and forth on the identify of the two witnesses myself and have used Elijah and Enoch myself in the past for the reason you mention, but Moses also fits for reasons that I mentioned and a few others. We know that the dead body of Moses was contended over by Michael and Satan for a reason. Can it be that Moses will be called back from the dead like Lazarus to live out the 1260 days in his original body? The scripture also says that when he died he was as strong as ever. Enoch was not an Israelite so that makes it difficult for Him to be one of the two witnesses for Israel but I do not discount Enoch as a possibility of being a witnesses before the great flood. Whoever the two witnesses are, I think they still may demand an exodus of the Jews. I chose to use Moses in this article because it better fits with the exodus concept.

  13. Hi Don,

You said: “I think they will demand Israel will be let out of the nations the same way that Israel was led out of Egypt. Through judgment if they do not comply. Even the plagues we see in the Trumpet Judgments are similar.”

This is very insightful. I’d never considered this possibility, and will go back now and do a little research on the timelines, but I think you may have hit upon something important here.

As far as Moses, Enoch, and Elijah go, I agree that Enoch wasn’t Jewish and is probably not a likely candidate. I think the episode with him was a foreshadowing or picture of the Rapture.

Moses and Elijah, however, pose an interesting question. If I’m not mistaken, Moses’s burial by God, and Elijah being taken up in a whirlwind by God, occurred in the vicinity of Mount Hermon. A coincidence? The Bible makes a point of saying the God buried Moses. Why? Was this a unique burial that somehow involved the preservation of Moses’s original body? And, Elijah was taken up into “heaven”, but the Bible speaks of three heavens, and Jesus himself said that “no man has ascended into “heaven”, meaning the dwelling place of God. I take this to mean that he was simply taken away to some unspecified place. Could both Elijah and Moses be in the same location now? Perhaps Elijah is looking after Moses’s body which, thanks to that fascinating and under-explored book of Jude, we know Satan desires to own? All very intriguing.

Thanks for your continued efforts, Don. Your writing always makes me ponder things I normally don’t think about.

    Doug

  14. Good input Doug,

I might add that Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus at the transfiguration. They had Physical bodies. Peter even thought he should build shelters for them. Why was that even mentioned?

Perhaps Moses and Elijah do dwell alive somewhere with the Angels preserved from further aging until Jesus summons them. Maybe they are now awaiting the day when they will be transported to earth to accomplish their latter day role. All conjecture for sure, because we really do not know.

  15. Hi Don,

This article is singing my song. I have been reading your revelation commentary again and focused on the seals on other research over the past couple weeks. From what I’ve been reading about Baptist, and especially fundamentalist, they are falling in line with the rest of the decieved. They are ,or have been teaching spiritual formation in many schools/college’s. They have been and continue to preach about the comeing revival. Although they are often sectarian, they are blind to just how closely they are following after the rest of the worldly Christians. A good Christian brother often laments that the people in church just don’t want to hear the truth, and so I have tried to explain that they are religious and not followers of the true Christ. They are follers of men,and take great offense if you try and correct their hireling pastors. Its as though you have insulted them personally. He is already experiencing some shunning, but is a founding member, and refuses to leave. He has been treated in a most unchristian manner, even by supposedly long time friends. Shocking, right? No,not really, because we who know better,ie,know that Gods word, and Jesus specifically tell us to expect that kind of treatment. The Pharisees rule, and the sheep are meek. I think it was Charles Stanley who said,”don’t mistake my meekness for weakness”. True Christian bretheren, are,”kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love;in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business;fervent in spirit;serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope;patient in tribulation;continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints;given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, curse not. Rom.12:10-14 And read the whole chapter to remind yourselves who we are in Christ. Now see how many playing church line up with that. Its sad and discouraging on one hand, but exciting to see the Lord’s Word being fulfilled in these last days. Be blessed brothers and sisters,He is who is risen,is coming again soon.

  16. The Baptist I know in East Texas do not like Obama. Now do not say anything bad about Beth Moore for a varied of reasons.

    Great article

  17. Hello Don, this is the first time I’ve posted, although I’ve been lurking for quite some time. I just had a question concerning something I’ve wondered about for many years. Within this article, you spoke out against sitting silently before the Lord to hear His voice. I have a charismatic background, first from a Messianic Jewish congregation, and then an Assemblies of God church. I also now fellowship with some great Baptist/cessationist individuals(currently associated with Friends of Israel). Do you believe it’s possible to “hear” God’s voice(certainly an audible voice would not be the norm among the average, sound charismatic). How would you describe hearing God’s voice beyond intellectual assessment of the Bible? Any articles or even books you would recommend? I often try to sit before the Lord during times in prayer to leave open the possibility for God to speak to my heart, although it’s certainly not some sort of empty-mind meditative thing. Sorry if I’m off on a tangent, and perhaps you can message me via email, or leave this up in the comments for others. Thanks for your time. And thanks for the great work and keeping us informed.

  18. Hi Jerry,

One should meditate on what God said in His word if they want to hear anything from God.

God can speak to your heart when you are praying but that is not the same as using some contemplative or mystical methodology to try to conjure up a private message from God.

I do not think people are hearing God’s voice today outside of His word. Some may hear from an angel if it is of critical importance, but this is rare. Those that think they can conjure up a message from God by some mystical practice of their own are being deceived. They are opening themselves up to hear from one of those fallen spirits. We also should not discount that that those claiming to get private messages from God almost always can be proven wrong.

I think the only book you need, to hear what God has to say to us is the Bible.

  19. Great article Don. My opinion on the two witnesses identity, is that it is Moses and Elijah. After the transfiguration (When Jesus; Moses; and Elijah discussed Christ’ coming crucifixion) Peter asked Jesus about Elijah: “They asked Him, saying, “Why is it that the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” And He said to them, “Elijah does first come and restore all things. And yet how is it written of the Son of Man that He will suffer many things and be treated with contempt? But I say to you that Elijah has indeed come, and they did to him whatever they wished, just as it is written of him.”” (Mark 9:11-13)

Now I believe Jesus’ point here is that John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah, and they killed him just as they did Jesus. But I believe that John the Baptist was but a partial fulfillment, and that Elijah will be one of the two witnesses and “restore all things.” before Christ’ returns. The two witnesses like Moses, strike the world with plagues, and like Elijah, have the power to keep it from raining, both Moses and Elijah were at the transfiguration (The preview of Christ’ second coming), both Moses and Elijah used supernatural means to provoke repentance, Elijah was taken up into heaven alive, and God buried Moses’ body where it could not be found, and the length of the drought the two witnesses bring is 3 1/2 years; the same length of time that was brought by Elijah: “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.” (James 5:17). So I am convinced that the identity of the two witnesses is Moses and Elijah. Just my fallible opinion though, God bless.

  20. On the subject of “private messages from God”…

When King Saul summoned Samuel’s spirit at Endor…I think that was clearly not a wise thing to do…for me, that was enough to know not to mess with such things.

I think if one is filled with and obeys the Holy Spirit, then they have all the messages they could possibly need.

  21. ~David

The question then becomes, how do you hear from the Holy Spirit? I say through the scriptures.

  22. Don,

I have never audibly heard anything from the Holy Spirit that I know of, however, I know it has guided me more than once in my life on discerning good and evil.

I’m not positive on this, but I think all humans are innately born with God’s Spirit within them…some just choose to reject it because they love evil more than God.

I think The Lord God Almighty gave us Holy Scriptures so we can build a strong relationship with Him…which also answers the complex and difficult questions of life…we know why we are here, where we are going, and even what the future holds through prophecy…which is all we need to know by His design.

    Also, as Galatians 5:22 says…
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

What more could we want ?

  23. ~David

Man may have innate awareness that there is a God. However, what you suggest conflicts with many scriptures.
Man is not born with the Holy Spirit.

God firstly gave us the scriptures so that those not blinded by their father the Devil would hear, believe, and be saved through the Savior that scripture speaks of. People can not have a relationship with God if they are still dead in their sins.

  24. A lot of what you said is also covered on the podcast Fighting For The Faith, with Chris Rosebough. Although he has a different eschatology. Beth Moore recently stated that those who do not believe in unity will be the disobedient ones.

  25. Excellent article Don. Thank you for ALL your disciple and arduous research. I take comfort in your guidancein these difficlt days. God Bless and Shalom.

  26. Hi Don
It seems to me these days that people can be sucked into any new way of finding a different angle to get God to do whatever THEY command him to do. My wife meets with a group of women for a Bible study once a week and they are sold out to Mark Battersons “circle maker”. It makes her uncomfortable listening in as she knows that it is basic witchcraft. These women have attended church their whole life yet they fail to see the deception right before their eyes. I blame the church and their leadership for NOT standing up to the truth to these heretics. If you say anything negative about these emergent leaders they call you closed minded and a spirit quencher or they throw the Matt 7:1 clause at you.

  27. At one point I attended a Word of Faith church. I have never renounced that the Holy Spirit moves in the Body of Christ. “just don’t make stuff up” “don’t fake spiritual gifts” Could I enjoy the antics at a word of faith church again? No! Do I think Kenneth Copeland needs to repent before God for teaching word of faith? Yes! Do I think he will repent? hmmm? maybe… maybe not….
As a true blue Christian with my flaws was I shunned by those close to the pastor at the Word of Faith church I attended? Yes….That pastor has been very influenced by Kenneth Copeland. And now Kenneth Copeland has met with the pope. “oh dear” “what is the world coming to” “could he be fulfilling prophecy” I shudder!!! I have done hundreds of hours of research after leaving that place.(that word of faith church) This I do know, the Lord gives me supernatural peace because his Word assures me of who I am in Christ. The word of faith people may have shunned my vibrant faith but does Jesus like their faith?

  28. Don, I hope this isn’t too off topic but I need your help and advice; Below is the second email I received from these people from Nigeria who seemed to be genuine believers. The first was asking that I send some Bibles. I won’t put their address here but if you could give me some pointers on how I should respond I would appreciate it.

“Was given a copy of a Book & Bible from a group of people who comes from the Mormon church and days later we decided to start reading it. Hope we are not
going to be misled and are been led into error that will send us to hell forever ?
Please are the teaching from the Mormon (Church of Jesus Christ Latter Days Saint) in line with the Bible and the Word of God?
PLEASE HELP ME & MY FAMILY OUT!”

  29. Ann,

It is my experience, that those in third world countries that are sending emails asking you to send them them Bibles or books only intend to sell them to make money. In other words, it is a con. This is even more true from emails from Nigeria. They have regular sweat shops that make money on the good intentions of Christians in the US. If you respond to their email you will be put on a sucker list and keep receiving these emails.

  30. Thanks, I know I get the Nigerian email scams all of the time, I just wasn’t sure about this one. I was beginning to have a guilty conscience because I din’t respond to them.

  31. Hi Ann,

I was waiting for Don to answer your second question, and Don,if you answered privately, then no need to post this.

Mormanism is a religious cult, they are NOT Christian in the orthodox tradition. They are as bad or worse than Jehovahs witness and if you do not know this, then I would not have anything to do with their literature or their missionaties. Dr. James White of Alfa and Omega ministries is somewhat an expert on the Mormans. I think the web address is (www.aomin.org) or you can Google morman cult, and find tons of info on the very bad theology they teach. Afterall they think Jesus and Lucifer are brothers. Nothing but doctrine of demons ,but unfortunately, multitudes have been deceived.

  32. David L,

You are reading the comment wrong
The Mormon issue is something that Ann quoted. It is what these con men told her in the email just to get her to respond. These Nigerian con men are pretty devious knowing that some Christians would be sucked in because we oppose Mormon teaching. In other words, the cry for help is the real con. They are hoping that she will swallow the hook. Since she already answered once they think that she is now ready to bite. The real problem for Ann now, will be to get off of the Nigerian email list of nibbling suckers.

  33. Hi Don,

Thanks for clearing that up,I see the quotation marks now. I have heard about the Nigerian scams ,but in a general way. Never actually saw the messages. I have been reading about scareware this evening,as I had one pop up after visiting Raiders site, clicked article & redirected to the blaze where the pop up occured. I DID NOT CLICK ANY ADD BUTTONS INCLUDING THE X. I reversedd course and exited those two sites. Seems there are so many scams out there, its hard to keep up. I do have a very good security program , just in case I do something stupid by accident.

    Thanks and good night

  34. Thanks again; and David L. I did block their email. Being boiler room scams, I’m sure they have a dozen different email addresses. That’s getting pretty low. But Nigeria is quite a slaughter house.

  35. Don,
Could you elaborate a bit more as to what you mean by “she is a woman not under a covering and she left herself exposed.”
    Thanks

  36. Barbara,

Woman teachers in the Church should not be teaching men or putting themselves in a position of an elder in authority in the Church. Angels only recognized the authority of man because man was created to be the light bearers (image of) of God, as Angels were made to be ministering spirits and messengers of God.

Women were made in the image of man to be help meets to men. They are not to set themselves up as feminists that have the same authority and role as men. Moore claims to get direct messages from God and the fallen angels would be aware of that and will deceive her with things that obviously will not come from God.

Remember, it was Eve that was deceived by Satan. Adam was not deceived but fell into sin through willful rebellion. Therefore, the fallen angels (angels even being in the form of males themselves when physically appearing), see women as a weaker vessel and more easy target of deception then men.

In Moore’s case, I think she got deceived by claiming to hear direct messages from God when He was not speaking to her. She is even using mysticism to put herself into an altered state of suggestion to hear from God and she is teaching others to do it. She has stepped beyond her role as a teacher of women and now teaches men and wrongly puts herself in the role of a Prophet.

Woman have a different role then men in the family unit and in the Church until the resurrection. They are more emotional beings and for that reason they are more easily deceived. Men by nature are more rational, and men are to be the leaders in the Church.

I know some women will not want to hear that, but that is what I think scripture teaches and implies.

  37. Thanks so much for your comment to Barbara. As a female, I have really never had a desire to hold any authority in the Church or even a children’s Sunday School or women’s class. I was too afraid of the responsibility. Anyway, I much prefer males in the role of leadership, even though I have had some excellent women Bible Study teachers. But what is your thoughts, when we do hear false doctrine being taught by the male leadership? I have left a few Churches because I did not want to go against them. And I do believe what the Scriptures have to say and do you think that it is also to “protect” women because they are the weaker vessel in the eyes of God and more easily deceived? And I know many of men who would like nothing more than to use this to become control freaks and spiritual abuse.

  38. Don,
Thanks for the reply. There are a lot of things that people do not want to hear, but the truth is the truth. I just wish I understood the truth with more clarity. I know that there are scriptures that indicate that women have separate/different rules then men do. Like 1 Corinthians 11:4-6 which is what I thought you might have been referring to? However, Galatians 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
This scripture makes me believe that perhaps once a person receives Christ Jesus, has faith in Christ Jesus, God can use any vessel the same as another?
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

  39. Barbara.

We are all one in Christ, there is no sex in the Body of Christ. Sex is a human thing and as long as we are in human bodies of flesh we are subject to the order that God established for men and women on the earth.
