Sexual abuse in society is followed by judgment

He rightly sees that only a very sick society would have all this sexual deviation which rightly should be called perversion. Sexual perversion in society is a barometer of satanic control over a society. This is why when society gets to the point of enabling sexual perversion God’s judgment always follows. God has already raised up the army for his judgment against Western perversion. It is radicalized Islam. I am not suggesting that Islam is of God but only that God uses evil people to correct evil people. If we would turn from our wicked ways we would not have to endure what is coming but unfortunately Western society has given sexual perverts free reign but they should have known that God watches over the innocent.

“My article also pointed out that in a very sick society like our own, where sexual deviations of all kinds are accessible to any curious browser, there is no wonder that some very sick people have infiltrated the ranks of religious organizations of all denominations. Finally, I suggested that while we must work unceasingly to establish structures to protect our children and to bring justice to perpetrators and healing to their victims, it is disingenuous, or at least naïve, to suggest good policy alone will fix the problem. The sexual abuse of minors will only increase if Western society continues to glorify sexual promiscuity and graphic pornography as part of freedom of expression and to tout personal liberty and rights, while rejecting any reference to their corresponding moral obligations.”
“In other words, a society that denies the existence of objective morality has nothing to back up its claims that any type of behavior is necessarily and always bad. Will we get to the point where child abuse is actually considered a personal right? I don’t think we’re far away.”

  1. I thought Jesus took the judgment for our sins. This stuff happening is just the result of sin. I understand there will be a day of judgment, for those who reject Jesus’ righteousness, but it is not now. Otherwise, God probably needs to apologize to Jesus for doing all he did for nothing. And it would mean we are justified to God by our works, after all.

  2. The stuff happening in the world is a result of sin.

Jesus took our sin upon Himself so that those that trust in Him will be saved. He did not come to save a evil world that rejects God and is already under condemnation. This evil world will not be saved. God’s elect will be saved out of it.

Even the saved must appear before the judgment seat of Christ and give account for what they did in their bodies (good or bad). Salvation is not based on good works but those saved by grace through faith and those that have God’s spirit ought to have good works.

Also, God knows how to discipline His own children. Those in Christ that willfully sin will certainly be disciplined if they really are one of His. The ultimate discipline to save the soul may be death of the body. We see examples of that in the New Testament.

All sin has consequences. Most in the world have never trusted in Christ and that is a requirement for forgiveness of sin. All not born of the Spirit through Jesus only have God’s wrath to look forward to.

Those that think they can now now sin because the Savior paid the sin requirement of the Law probably never knew the Savior at all. They are in for a rude awaking. The Bible does not teach that sinners will be saved. Quite the contrary. Sinners must die to self and put on Christ and be born of His Spirit. Those born from above that have been given the Spirit of God do not think it is fine to sin. Judgment will come on the world because of sin.

  3. I agree with you. I think what I was really saying is that this is still the time where God is reserving judgment and giving people time to repent. At one point, that time will run out, but not now. There is a big difference between God punishing people in this world right now and the natural destructive consequences of sin.
Disciplined is not the same as punishment or bad things happening to teach God’s people a lesson. The NT is clear that we learn by the Word of God, not by God sending adverse circumstances down on us. He can certainly teach us through them. But it says “Let no man say when he is tried and tested that God is doing it…” In the original, the word discipline is to “child train”, not flog or punish, in fact it is to compel. It is direction that is given to a favoured child. So God disciplines those he loves – this in no way implies that we misbehaved at the time we were disciplined.
There is a law of sin and death. But if we think God metes out judgment, punishment, etc right now in response to sinful behaviour, we must follow the logic of this – let’s say I get sick, and I was engaging in immorality beforehand – should I just stay sick and learn my lesson? is it wrong to go to the doctor or ask for prayer?(what if I shortcircuit the lesson God is trying to teach me?)
A lot of disasters like Katrina are attributed to God’s judgment by some people. If this is the case, this means God is not just, because devout, faithful followers of him, innocent children, babies, etc suffered as a result, as well as those who were evil. And it negates Jesus being the propitiation (satisfying of wrath), for our sins. Paul makes it clear that Jesus died “not for our sins only, but for the sins of the whole world”. you are absolutely right that some will not accept this, but in the end, no one will go to hell because they sinned (or we will all go), they will go because they refused to accept Jesus’ righteousness. Even morally “upright” people who lived a good life will have their day before the White Throne of Judgment, because they choose to be judged by their works, instead of accepting Jesus’ righteousness, but of course that won’t get them in.
That is how I see things from my study of Scripture.
It is very sad that many abuse the mercy of Christ to keep sinning, when the Bible says we are created in Christ to do good works. I don’t think it is enough to just believe faith in Jesus gets me off the hook if I do sin, I think it is important to beleive that this faith empowers me to live a righteous life.
Those that stand before the judgment seat of Christ are not judged to determine salvation, they are judged for the rewards that are bestowed on believers based on what they have done. All “wood hay and stubble” are burned beforehand, so there will be no shame. My goal is to have produced good works that will reach others for Christ and show them the joy and wholeness they can find by making Jesus Lord of their life.
God Bless! Thank you for responding to my comment.

  4. I think your mixing a lot of apples and oranges here.

The world is not the Church and God has been judging nations ever since there were nations on earth.

This article is not saying that natural disasters are a judgment on people. In one sense it is because we all live in the same fallen world. Jesus did not die so that the fallen world will be restored in this age.

The article and I are talking about judgment because of the perversion in our society and in our churches. That does not imply that there will be judgments on true Christians at all, although there may be chastisement for children of God that have not learn to keep out of the world’s cesspools.

Most people in our society and in our churches are not true Christians and that it evident by such perverted behavior throughout.

  5. Boy, this is a tough topic.
Murny, I think what your saying in the 1st paragraph is true, we are not at the end of the age of grace quite yet.
I am of the belief, as far as natural disasters, adverse circumstances, what man see’s as unjust death, and even things we do on a daily basis as happening as a result of living in this fallen world and Gods coming judgments upon nations, however, I also consider it a test of our faith. To say that God is unjust for any action, isn’t that putting us as mortals in the same wisdom of God himself ? And for those who try to figure out God, remember, he said, “My ways are not your ways”.
I don’t think the judgments upon the earth necessitate God separating out the righteous and the evil in death. I don’t see death from the humanistic perspective, a curse. I see it as God calling me home for eternity, how glorious.
God knows the hairs on our head, he knows our hearts and souls quite well and we have no way as mortals to know how God will judge an infant…for example. But, by the nature of God, I think we can be rest assured that it will be just and righteously done.
Those who abuse the mercy of Christ to keep sinning, in my opinion, do not have the Love of God in their heart, they are deceived.
I did my best to try to help with this Murny, I’ll check back to see if I’m in the ballpark of what your talking about.

  6. Sexual perversion, abortion, corruption in all levels of our judicial, corporate, and government structures are surely going to lead to a severe judgment upon the U.S.
It is not capitalism that failed…it is corruption and lawlessness that prevailed over righteous, Biblical values that destroyed the U.S.
This country was founded upon the desire to freely worship the Living Lord God Almighty, but today, the majority of our society reject the Living God..is what’s coming any wonder ?

  7. Yeah David, I was thinking about what Murny said early this morning as well. When a judgment comes on a nation and Christians and the innocent also die it does not mean that God was not just. All mortals die at some point. Death for those who’s sins are covered is not the end of life it is the beginning of a immortal life of unspeakable joy.
