John McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin was brilliant. He could not have pleased Evangelical Conservatives more had he picked Kay Arthur for his Vice President running mate. Here is a bright young vibrant born again Christian Governor that is not part of the good old boy Washington political establishment. A woman that is actually living out her faith in her decisions and lifestyle. Dr. Dobson is excited about Sarah Palin being McCain’s choice as is Rush Limbaugh and they will now support McCain. These are the the two big voices that can actually bring out a large conservative vote for McCain. This choice by McCain also sets the stage for the future of the Republican party if
he should win.

Sarah Palin certainly will be a great asset to help McCain win. She will not only appeal to mainstream women she will appeal to blue collar Democrats opposed to abortion and elitist socialism. With this ticket I also support McCain even though I do not agree with some of his past positions. The alternative to this ticket is the ticket of the far left and their demented polices will likely bring the demise of this nation.

You also have to give McCain some credit for his leadership decisions and his judgment. Obama is so out of touch that he could not even pick a suitable Vice President that would appeal to mainstream America. He picked a tired old liberal ivy league professional politician from the good-old-boy network. Mainstream America does not want Joe Biden with his lack of good judgment and his talking down to everyone who does not agree. The Catholic church is not even sure that they want him in their fellowship with his pro abortion views.

I guess some will say that McCain only picked Sarah Palin as a strategic move and that he does not actually believe the things that she does. That certainly might be true but think about this reality. John McCain is 72 years old. Statistics indicate that there is about a 20 percent chance the he will not finish out his first term. He would have only about a 50/50 chance of finishing two terms and if either should happen the most grounded Christian and independent minded person in politics would take over.

Also having Sarah Palin as number two will keep John McCain honest. Should be become too liberal there is a huge chance that he would not even be nominated for a second term and there is also a chance in any case that McCain will not even run for a second term. If any of these things happen Sarah Palin would become the front runner for President. Palin will become hugely popular after a term as Vice President as she is popular as Governor of Alaska with over 80 percent support. Even if McCain serves out two full terms Sarah Palin would be the logical successor and that should be a good thought for Christians.

So I am bringing all this up to tell those who said they will sit out this election because they do not like either choice to now reconsider and vote for McCain/Palin. God could have a plan here for restoring America to constitutional government, as well as fiscal and moral sanity, if His people will do their part and vote against the takeover of America by far left radicals.

John McCain has announced an “out-of-the-box” pick for his vice-presidential running mate: Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. (see video report)

In Dayton, Ohio, the McCain campaign has confirmed that the presumptive GOP presidential nominee named Palin — the first female governor of Alaska — as his pick to join him on the November ticket. Palin and her husband, Todd, are the parents of five children, one of them with Down syndrome. She is a reformer and a self-styled “hockey mom.”

The 44-year-old governor, described by some in the media as a “religious conservative,” was elected to lead Alaska in 2006 after defeating the Republican incumbent. She is strongly pro-life, opposes same-sex “marriage,” and is noted for her energy policies promoting independence from big oil companies.

Governor Palin is described by many conservatives as someone who will rally not only women voters, but also pro-life supporters. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, says pro-life supporters are familiar with Governor Palin. He says Governor’s Palin’s spot on the ticket will attract those who had mixed feelings about Senator McCain.

“If we look at the vast segment of the electorate for whom abortion influences their vote — and that’s approximately one third or more of the electorate — then we find within that segment that there is a two-to-one margin in favor of pro-life candidates.”

Christian activist Dr. Gary Cass also believes evangelicals will strongly support McCain now that he has chosen Palen as his running mate. Cass is chairman of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission (CADC), which this past spring unveiled an online petition. The document called on presidential nominees for both major political parties to select a running mate who as been born again, who publicly affirms historic Christianity, and who has a proven record of supporting traditional Christian morality.

Cass says Governor Palin will re-energize the evangelical base. “We have a young, evangelical leader who stands for our particular issues, who will be now be a leader into the future,” he says of the governor-turned-VP-candidate. “[I]t was a very courageous choice by John McCain.”

I always said wait until the counterculture hippies grew up and they got into positions of power. Pat Buchanan makes the case on Obama’s very extreme abortion position and implies that Catholics would not vote for Barack Obama. The problem is that most of the Catholics I know support Obama for President. So what does that say about their claim to believe in Catholicism? Let’s not forget that many Liberal Protestants and New Evangelicals also support Barack Obama. Seems to me that many “Christians” in this nation need to choose whom they will serve. A Catholic case against Barack

Obama is an abortion absolutist. “I could find no instance in his entire career,” writes Freddoso, “in which he voted for any regulation or restriction on the practice of abortion.”

In 2007, Barack pledged that, in his first act as president, he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act, which would cancel every federal, state or local regulation or restriction on abortion. The National Organization for Women says it would abolish all restrictions on government funding of abortion.

And which Catholic priests and prelates will it be who give invocations at Obama rallies, even as Mother Church fights to save the lives of unborn children whom Obama believes have no right to life and no rights at all?

What Janet says in this article and her book is going to come to pass if “Christians” do not stop the anti Christian hate speech agenda. Those who love their sins will criminalize anything in Christianity that offends them. When the church was persecuted in England and Europe, our Founding Fathers came to America for freedom. People still build boats from scrap wood to try to come here for a glimpse of it. America is the last, best hope of the world. If we lose, there is nowhere else to go.

When the California Supreme Court declared in a 4 to 3 ruling in May that California must allow homosexuals to marry under the same terms and conditions as heterosexuals, they caricatured the arguments against gay marriage as bigoted and unconstitutional. It’s a bitter pill, but the diagnosis of severe maladies is always a bitter pill that must be swallowed before the remedy becomes palatable.

Under the political leadership of those anointed by conservative groups, we have:

1. Accepted “civil unions” as an alternative to gay marriage,

2. Reformed public education by increasing the funding of the government bureaucracy and programs that foster sexual immorality among school children,

3. Promoted a “culture of life” by regulating the child-killing and justifying abortion in cases of rape, incest, and maternal health

America might listen to JB Williams but it won’t because it seems that the amoral majority are now the problem for the moral minority. I just read that half of the U.S. supports the homosexual agenda and we know that over half support abortion. That should say wonders about the people who live here. It is also obvious that half of the people are now living off the other half to a large degree.

So the land of the free and home of the brave is now about dead and gone. It will be replaced by the land of the socialist fascist enslaved and the home of amoral sissies. This amoral majority will prove what I said by electing a amoral Marxist to be President in the next election. They also proved my point by voting in a socialist House and Senate two years ago.

Only government has the right to determine each individuals worth. Even McCain and other Republicans have fallen for this line of thinking.

Winston Churchill said it well; “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.” How can a nation survive leadership by people who often can’t manage their own lives?

What do we have when those who depend upon government for their very existence outnumber those who pick up the government tab? Because, that’s where we are in America circa 2008.

Democrats seek dominion over the lives of others. They seek the power to decide the worth of individuals. They seek the power to “free” some by “enslaving” others. In the end, modern Democrats will enslave both. They seek the power of life and death over the most innocent and defenseless American citizens.

Just as the debtor is enslaved to the lender, the welfare recipient is enslaved to his caretaker. Government dependents vote for Democrats because they must. Democrats promise to keep them enslaved by keeping the bread crumbs of life flowing.

Jefferson said, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”- “The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”

The article gives the connection from eugenics to world population control. The power elite want the earth to have far less people for the sake of the environment. You cannot have God’s Son if you believe abortion, homosexually, sexual promiscuity, witchcraft, new age paganism etc. is normal and acceptable in the body of Christ. These things clearly contradict the world of God.

The Bible says that because of these things judgment will come on the world. The Bible says that those who live in these lifestyles will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. If you were a Christian you would inherit the kingdom of heaven but your unrepenting stand on accepting what the Bible calls abominations indicate that you are not in the Body of Christ.

Many people are now getting very confused because “Evangelical” now just means belonging to a certain denomination but I guarantee that over half the people in those “Evangelical” denominations have no relationship with any biblical Jesus Christ. And it is a well known fact that the majority in these “Evangelical” denominations have not read through the Bible in their entire lives. So how could they know biblical truth?

It is time that real Christians addressed the issue that most in our “Evangelical” churches are “Christian” phonies. They are not in the Body of Christ, They are in some hybrid mutation where anything goes. Real Christians need to separate from these pseudo Christians because their claim to be evangelical Christians is stinking up the whole Evangelical movement. They display to the world a very deceptive and a deadly message.

Who do most blacks and even black Christians vote for? They vote for those who help there own babies kill their babies. They are without natural affection.

Jimmy Carter the great compromiser now attempts to unite Baptist denominations over his own beliefs. He can achieve this if everyone just decides that biblical issues that divide us like abortion, homosexual rights and Israel are no longer important. Well thanks to people like Jimmy Carter the church in America is now just about dumbed down enough to unite on anything.

Nothing that can’t be overcome with a smiling compromiser like Jimmy Carter around to help everyone link hands. After all, he brokered the Camp David Peace Accords that achieved Middle East peace for at least ten minutes. The reason that the Peace Accords didn’t end tension in the Middle East and the reason that uniting all Baptists will ultimately fail is that the issues are based on principles of right and wrong. For the Israelis, how much land can they give up before their homeland ceases to exist? For Baptists, how much doctrinally can they give up and still be Christians? For Baptists, the issues are sin and rebellion against God versus obedience to His Word (Women in the pulpit). The issues are life and death (abortion), Immorality versus morality (homosexuality), and those issues are not going to go away
