I recently received a signed complementary copy of the new book “The Jewish People: Rejected or Beloved?“, from Dr. David R. Reagan. After I read the book, I thought it was important to do a book review on my Blog to help get out his message. Others need to get more informed about the history of the Jews and about certain heretical theologies that Christendom has regarding the Jews. This book accomplishes that job.

The root of America’s problem is its evolutionary worldview

America has been taken over by ideologues of the radical left that very much identify with socialist Communism or Fascism. They can also be defined as statists. They believe that big government controlled by elite “more evolved” individuals with a secular humanist socialistic worldview is the only hope for humanity to have any hope for survival as a species. They would be correct if there were no God, however, there is a God, and He is fully in control of human destiny. The evolutionary worldview is the root of the problems in America.

The urban rural division in America parallels Lot and Abraham?

Most know the biblical story of Abraham and Lot. Lot was Abraham’s nephew and Lot traveled where God was leading Abraham. Tension started increasing between the herdsmen of Abraham and Lot so they agreed to part company. Lot chose to move to the plains where the cities were. Lot’s people mingled with the natives and became influenced by evil people who dominated the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham stayed in the hill country and walked with God.

Not more than a couple of decades after Lot’s people departed Abraham, lot’s people were all destroyed by fire from heaven along with all the native people of the plains because they had joined in with the wicked practices of Sodom and Gomorrah.… continue reading

The early 1960’s certainly were not perfect but the vast majority of people in America led fairly honorable lives back then. The mid 60’s probably were the very last of the Happy Days of Richie Cunningham. What if you knew that at most you had about a decade left on earth to accomplish whatever you will do in your mortal Christian life. Would you do anything different? I have good reason to believe that we are living in the prophetic years and ten or fifteen years is about all the time that those in Christ have left to work. Disbanding of the United States of America now grows inevitable

I do not want to promote disbanding the United States of America, nevertheless the increasing division within this union of states probably makes some sort of disbanding in the near future quite inevitable. Most think it can’t happen here but historically all powerful empires ended. Even in recent times, few expected the huge USSR to disband, but it did.

Today there are two major ideologies fighting for control in the United States and neither can tolerate the other. The newer ideology or worldview is mostly based on Marxist or Fabian socialism with its practical atheism and humanistic collectivism. New evangelicalism usually also means denying Bible inerrancy

I recently read the book “New Evangelicalism“, by Paul Richard Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel Victorville CA. Paul Smith is a leader in the Calvary Chapel movement founded by his brother Chuck Smith, who also wrote the foreword to Paul Smith’s book.

The book gives a brief history of modern Protestantism beginning with modernism where scripture became critically analyzed through the filters of the philosophies of 19th and early 20th century humanist intellectuals. This humanistic intellectual analysis of the scriptures became known as “higher criticism”. I took one of those silly “higher criticism” courses in college myself.

I will give you my own take on modernism; most of what I will say about modernism in Christianity does not come from Paul Smith’s book, but from what I read in his book, I think Paul Smith would agree with most of it.… continue reading

American Christians who are aware of Bible prophecy should not be surprised or unduly concerned by the lawlessness and insanity that we are seeing in our nation and the world. If we believe Bible prophecy will be fulfilled in our generation why would we now expect America or the world to come up with solutions for a world that will prove to be doomed without Jesus?

Why should we expect the prophecies about what would happen in the last days, to not happen, if we are indeed in the last days? I think there is a fundamental error in thinking among Constitutional Conservative Christians in America. Some Conservatives and Bible believing Christians in America think that they can just elect someone and make America back into the basically Christian Constitutional Republic that it once was. Nothing could be further from the truth. A nation gets the leader that God determines that they need or deserve. So whats the big deal about the Spiritual Reformation Movement and the Emergent Church? Only that spiritual reformation concepts and the contemplative prayer concepts of the Emergent Church Movement are much the same.
