With that title I bet you are wondering what in the world I am talking about. I have come to the conclusion that in about five years most of those who are still living in America will be living without electricity. The whole nation will experience a major prolonged blackout that will last many months, perhaps even years. Many if not most of the people living in the cities in America would not survive the aftermaths of the coming electromagnetic pulse (EMP) hundreds of miles over the United States.  That is my conclusion why America is not in Bible prophecy. That will be America’s judgment. America will be brought to ruin in one month and will no longer be a world power. Some will think Babylon has fallen but America cannot fulfill that prophecy, that is still later on the prophetic timeclock.

I have already written an article and some blogs on the dangers of an EMP attack on America so I will spare you the details here. If you want to know more check the link above and become informed about what will happen after such an attack. I assure you the EMP danger is not a crackpot theory or threat. High profile government appointed scientific committees and spokespersons have clearly reported on this EMP danger. You need to be prepared because obviously no one in government is doing what is necessary to protect the nation from the dangers.  In the article above I say it is likely to occur by 2020. Now I am saying an EMP over America is even more likely to happen within five years or by 2015.

Basically I will just say here, that as a result of a high altitude EMP over America most will not have electric power and most electronic equipment in America would be fried. All infrastructure systems would totally fail and it would take months if not years to get even minimal infrastructure back in place. At least half of the population would die in the cities from the immediate food and water wars and there would then be Mad Max like roaming gangs and martial law.

Unless Iran and North Korea stop their nuclear and missile programs or fall to military conquest in less than five years both nations will have the long range missiles and the nuclear capability to carry out an EMP attack over the United States. N Korea might already may have that capability now here are two reports on that  Report 1, Report 2. You can be assured that Iran and North Korea already know what an EMP would do to the United States and they are now doing everything in their power to achieve such a capability.

The first target of Iran would not be Israel like some think because Iran knows it would first have to diminish the power of the United States before they could survive any attack against Israel. Iran will have the capability to reach the United States with their long range missiles in less than five years.  The mad men of North Korea would launch nuclear missiles at us for almost any perceived provocation if they had them in place. They also will have long range missiles that can reach America’s mainland in less than five years.

If a nation does not care about losing a large portion of their own people from a counter nuclear strike  we cannot assume that we have a deterrence from an attack from them.  Although it might be difficult, they could even attempt a launch with more crude missiles using a couple of ships off shore and if the ships were promptly sunk we might not even know what nation carried out the EMP attack.

What defense do we have against a EMP attack? The truth is that we have almost no defense. We do have our anti-missile missiles, but do not be deceived, they probably will not work against a well planned EMP attack and Obama is already cutting the little defense capabilities that we do have in that area. These anti-missile systems usually work against missiles in staged tests but that is not the same as hitting a surprise launch with a missile that has counter measures to avoid defenses. Even if a missile had no such counter capabilities, which is unlikely, the failure rate would still be quite high for many reasons. For example, no enemy is going to pre-announce their launch so that we get everything on full alert. By the time the missile launch is identified, system glitches ruled out and everyone goes through all the proper communication channels and reaches a sleeping president who makes a best guess decision to launch an anti-missile missile it will probably be too late.  If it were carried out from near offshore there would be no defense at all.

Do not be deceived by these recent claims that you heard in the news that missiles were sent to Hawaii to protect that island from a N. Korean missile threat as if we can actually down any long range missiles launched from N. Korea launched in that direction. Any anti-missile missiles we have in Hawaii cannot hit the long range missiles that N. Korea has. The only long range missiles that we can now down if we are very lucky and very awake are those that come in the direction of Alaska.

I do not know why you do not hear more about the danger of this EMP threat. It should be our highest priority. It is the gravest threat to our nation. Perhaps we do not hear much about it because our government really knows what a grave danger the EMP threat is and it does not want our enemies to know that we know that we are very vulnerable to an EMP.

Frankly, the only thing we can do in the next five years to stop this threat is either get Iran and N. Korea to end their nuclear weapons program or first strike their nuclear and missile capabilities. However, under this administration of appeasement and foreign timidity does anyone really believe that either will happen?

Can you even imagine what would happen in the world if America was neutralized because it had no power or electronics? The world would panic. There would be food riots all over the world. There would be martial law in every nation. The world monetary system would totally collapse. There would be major world wars. It sounds to me like it would rapidly become a biblical tribulation scenario. So those who take Bible prophecy literally might think about a EMP over America about 2015 AD that takes America out of the world picture and that rapidly brings about this tribulation scenario. The coming Antichrist will be the guy out of Europe who seems to have all the right answers for a world in great distress.

With the EMP danger in mind you might soon prepared for a time in the United States when we will have to survive without electricity for months or years. In all likelihood, since nobody seems to take this nuclear EMP seriously, it will happen within five years but it could happen anytime. The EMP might even be a result of a major solar flare on the sun during the next solar max of 2011 – 2014.

Gerald Celente is interviewed by Human Events in my quoted article and like usual world trends forecaster Gerald Celente has some interesting things to say. I see things pretty much happening the way that Celente is saying myself. If you see any green shoots coming from this administration’s nutty economic policies you better pick them and convert them into something useful while you still can. Housing is not going to recover with all the unemployment, repossessions, and the now rising interest rates. The interest rates have to rise because no one wants to finance our risky debt anymore. So our government will just print the money they need causing the crash of the dollar and making a great recession into a great hyper inflationary depression.

I do not see any substantial recovery in the next year but the next year will seem like living in good times compared to what is coming. After the hyper inflationary depression starts I see America’s living standards declining to that of Mexico. But, our spoiled brat criminal generation who expect endless handouts from everyone will just burn the cities and take what they want. Then a world war will be necessary so everyone can be enslaved by government in the name of national security. At that time you will see a dictatorship, martial law, script coupons for money, a draft, and rationing of everything. We also might have a civil war and/or secession because some states and some people are just not going to go along with the federal agenda.

Celente thinks the bail out bubble will burst in 2010 and hit full force about 2011 and that sounds about accurate to me. After that you will have civil upheavals and martial law. Then the foreign war will probably come before the national presidential election in 2012 so there will be no election just an indefinite extension of political terms.

I am not saying our government will start that war on purpose but when your in a national crises your enemies come for the kill and it gives reasons to overreact. The U.S. must be economically destroyed and our nation largely disarmed for the Beast out of Europe to gain power over the world. One way to get America to disarm is to destroy her economy by making the dollar so worthless that she cannot afford to make new weapons and also to get America in a world war so she will use up all the high tech weapons that she now has. The war of course will be for the purpose of subjecting most of the radical Muslim nations to the Beast that is rising out of the old Roman Empire. So that probably is why America is not in Bible prophecy.

Anyway I think you will want to know what Gerald Celente has to say. Perhaps David Wilkerson’s vision is also correct.

Exclusive Interview with Future Prediction Expert Gerald Celente – HUMAN EVENTS

Human Events had the opportunity to interview forecaster extraordinaire Gerald Celente, President of Trends Research Institute, several days ago — and the future he predicts looks bleak indeed. In fact, as Mr. Celente sees it, the Great Depression will seem like a mild recession as what waits for us in 2011 hits with the force of a Katrina financial hurricane.

Mr. Celente puts part of the blame squarely on the federal government, and especially FED Chairman Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Geithner, and warns us not to believe a word they say “They’re the same people who didn’t see it coming – are now telling us the worst is over, that ‘green shoots are spouting upwards’. But they were wrong before. They’re wrong on this too”.

“When you pump out tons of money manure into this system based on nothing – printing press paper, it’s like giving a patient with a chronic disease a pain killer — it won’t cure the patient.”

“But let’s go beyond the economics. Our whole Constitution has been abrogated. The president simply writes an Executive Order to do whatever he wants. Nationalize the banks, take over the insurance industry, automobile industry, health care industry…
None of it is constitutional.”

Mr. Celente observes that “people used to think of America as that shining beacon on the hill with ‘liberty and justice for all…’ .” So what happened?

“Morality is missing from our American public consciousness. Start with Wall Street. It’s run by a criminal gang. The only question is ‘how much can you make, how much can you steal?’ At the bottom, the welfare recipient says ‘how much can I take?’ And the government is in on the take.”

“Our society is now based on consumption — 70% of the GDP. This is more than we produce. So to pay our bills, we use funny money invented in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve and the fiat dollar based on credit (debt) — the fractional reserve system. In 1930’s you bought what you could afford. You saved up to buy your home. The easy credit of the 90’s has destroyed the country. Now you borrow what you can’t afford – and the nation’s done the same.”

Mr. Celente predicts the use of printing press money will cause the “greater depression”.

“I predict continuing deflation of real estate, followed by extreme currency inflation — ultimately becoming worthless.

“Our unemployment numbers are also bogus. For example, the construction industry is really above 20% , and the government is creating low-level jobs, not real jobs. The US total real unemployment is more like 16%. Before the crisis is over, it will reach 25% – great depression numbers.”

“When people have lost everything they have nothing to lose. Violence and crime will explode. Look at the OECD figures. The number of people not graduating from high school is exploding — they’re wacked out on drugs. New York City will look like Mexico City in a few years. The collapse of morality from top down — and especially in the government — makes it inevitable.”

“We predict state secessionist movements will rival the breakup of the Soviet Union.”

“The only way we can ever recover is to return to individual community, personal responsibility, local government. Next, average will disappear, Quality will return. Look at GM. Junk cars financed by junk bonds. Now owned by a junk government. As a consumer, don’t consume quantity — consume quality.”

“Now they’re creating the bailout bubble — which will ultimately dwarf the real estate bubble. It will cause the implosion of the global economy world wide — which will not be able to be repaired by creating yet another bubble. Every time the government fails, it tells a bigger lie and then a still bigger lie.”

“These previous bubbles were not allowed to pop — but they didn’t destroy the infrastructure of the country. This bailout bubble will.”

“But this bubble will be the last one. After the final blowout of the bailout bubble, we are concerned that the government will take the nation into war. This is a historical precedent that’s been done over and over again.”

This excellent article gets to the core of the problems in the United States. The problems are a result of departure of America from their Creator. We cannot expect America to be blessed if we deserve a curse. The leadership that is running and ruining America today is just the results of the fact that most Americans have departure from the things of God. Unless America returns to God worse things certainly lie in our future.

America Is Going Through A Revolution

The United States of America has never known a time of discord, turbulence, upheaval and distrust as it is experiencing in the year 2009. The federal elections of November 2008 occurred in the midst of an impending economic disaster, brought into the office of the president a relatively unknown man and seemingly empowered a revolutionary movement that is bent upon using the economic turmoil to redefine and reshape the national government and culture. Members of the new administration forewarned the nation of the revolutionary changes: Americans, said President Obama, should “discover great opportunity in the midst of great crisis.” Rahm Emanuel, President Obama’s chief of staff stated: “Never allow a crisis to go to waste,”. The new secretary of state, Hillary Clinton concurred: “Never waste a good crisis.” Finally, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said: “Capitalism will be different.” The shock waves from the changes generated in the first two months of the new presidency, and the anticipated trauma of more to come, has created schisms within the culture that are finding new alliances and destroying many investment and retirement programs by a stock market that does not like such uncertainty. Over the past century, the United States has had a relatively slow reshaping of the government and its processes from that which was conceived in the eighteenth century. However, the new regime has seemingly cast aside all concerns about contending with the creeping modification of the traditional role of the federal government as they are proceeding to radically bring into being their vision of what many believe to be a form of socialism, much like European models, if not Communism.

While one can write volumes about the founding fathers, their goals for the new nation, the meaning of the Constitution and existing law, it is all irrelevant. Those currently in power are determined to exercise their long-awaited opportunity to bring about a governmental transformation that will forever change the traditional balance of power between the federal, state, local and individual governments. At the same time, these changes will totally alter the balance of freedom within the nation.

Freedom can neither be destroyed nor created, but it can be shifted as to whether it is individually or centrally controlled. The historical model for freedom in the United States has been that the individuals maintained a dominant control of the freedom over their lives and the various governmental units a minimal control. What is frightening most people today is that the balance will be drastically torn away from the individual and bestowed upon the federal government. The crux of the issue at hand is the model to be used for governing the United States and what impact that will have upon the citizens.

I personally do not put much stock in David Wilkerson’s prophecies. I remember Wilkerson making dire prophecies for the last thirty years that have not come true, at least not yet. Nevertheless, David Wilkerson’s prophecy here is likely to come true but not necessary because God gave him a prophecy. Any astute Christian person can see America is now being judged and with the immoral generation that have taken over our inner cites it certainly will eventually lead to riots, fires, looting and then martial law.

I think telling people to stock 30 days food is better than nothing but it gives them false security. Even Homeland Security says people should have 3 months food on hand. Having at least 6 months of the basics is what I would suggest.

As if the United States does not have enough problems we almost certainly will find ourselves fighting and picking up most of the costs of another war. This one will be very close to home. This war will be against the drug cartels of Mexico or even Mexico itself if the nation becomes controlled by drug lords (supplementary information on this war) – More information on U.S. involvement.

The drug cartels in Mexico already have a military force that rivals the Mexican army. Mexico is now becoming a narco-state and if that happens it will become the greatest threat to U.S. national security. First, we will have a new huge wave of illegals fleeing Mexico. Next, the cartels will align themselves with world terrorists and radical states and while all that is going on drug money and drug gangs will rule our inner cities making it necessary to expand police powers. If you can’t yet see where this will lead I will tell you. It will lead to martial law and a U.S. police state.

With the decline in oil and jobs, Mexico simply will not have the money to fund and man this war against the drug cartels. Therefore, without U.S. intervention Mexico will be taken over by organized crime. Mexican politicians and police will be bought or assassinated and the Mexican government will either capitulate or they will have to seek increasing amounts of military and economic assistance from the United States. So it looks to me like we will soon have a Pakistan or Afghanistan right here on our Southern border.

So guess who created and enable the drug cartels? The immoral people of the United States that buy and use illegal drugs. So next time one of you thinks it is harmless to smoke a joint or snort some drug, you can also thank yourself when your children are drafted into the military and you see increasing U.S. military involvement in Mexico and in the streets of our own nation. This nation is now about to reap the due consequences of her demented drug perversion. By the way, over half of the 2.2 million people already in our prisons and jails are there because of drugs.

The depression we now have entered and the active military conflicts that continue endlessly makes it certain that this nation is now under the judgment of God. So does anyone still think that it does not matter that most of America departed from the morals given by God?

We are on the eve of destruction if the nation does not repent. Before long we will be talking about the civil upheavals and riots.

Washington Times – EXCLUSIVE: 100,000 foot soldiers in Mexican cartels

The U.S. Defense Department thinks Mexico’s two most deadly drug cartels together have fielded more than 100,000 foot soldiers – an army that rivals Mexico’s armed forces and threatens to turn the country into a narco-state.

“It’s moving to crisis proportions,” a senior U.S. defense official told The Washington Times. The official, who spoke on the condition that he not be named because of the sensitive nature of his work, said the cartels’ “foot soldiers” are on a par with Mexico’s army of about 130,000.

The disclosure underlines the enormity of the challenge Mexico and the United States face as they struggle to contain what is increasingly looking like a civil war or an insurgency along the U.S.-Mexico border. In the past year, about 7,000 people have died – more than 1,000 in January alone. The conflict has become increasingly brutal, with victims beheaded and bodies dissolved in vats of acid.

The Two Witnesses From Heaven Will be Hell to the World

The ministry of the two witnesses from God in Revelation chapter 11 will last for 1260 days. This event is the most understated event of Bible prophecy. The witnesses, the two prophets from heaven will shake the world to its core and the whole world will rejoice when they are killed because they tormented those who dwell on the earth.

I think we totally underestimate the impact that these two prophets will have on the world. They will be second in power to no one until their ministry is complete. No weapon formed against them will succeed. If a nuclear missile is fired at them it will land on the nation that fired it. These prophets with supernatural powers will have God’s angels at their disposal. Anyone who dares to harm them will in like manor be killed. They are going to have such a profound impact on the world that after they are risen and taken into heaven the sinful world will want to be led to believe that they can stop the kingdom of Jesus from coming. Thus, at the end of this period of Antichrist rule the Antichrist gathers all nations against Jerusalem to try to stop the second coming and the fulfillment of their prophecies.

I am posting this article not because I think the Yellowstone Caldera or Mammoth Caldera are about to go off but just as food for thought. I do not for a minute subscribe to the theory that this caldera was formed 642,000 years ago. More likely it was formed in the days of Exodus only a few thousand years ago.

With that in mind there certainly is no reason to think that future eruptions could not take place in the short term. Shortly before or during the tribulation period these earth upheavals become extremely likely. Just one massive explosion could reduce the United States to a third world power and throw the whole world into huge tribulation.

I mention that because God does not have to judge the U.S. or the world in some predictable way like some people think. It could happen suddenly overnight. One day everything will be normal and the next it could be raining ash and fire and brimstone. The impact on the world climate could cause the famines predicted in Revelation. The management of the disaster could be what brings world government and rationing necessary for survival.

Before tribulation events these types of catastrophic events are unlikely to happen but they certainly are still possible. After a  comet or Wormwood or a pole reversal hits the earth exploding calderas suddenly become extremely likely. Indeed, if something like this volcanic actively were to happen today it would completely change the world in a instant.

It is time that the world woke up and realized that most in Islam insist that the world convert to Islam so we become as much the miserable slaves to their theocratic fascist religion as they are. Many in Islam want us dead and most Muslims in one way or another support those who want us dead. Even if the world converted to Islam today that would not stop the violence because then the Islamic fascists would be fighting each other over various theological differences.

A world religion led by those who breed hate cannot become a religion of peace. Those in the world that are now appeasing Islam for peace will become their future victims at a time when they are even more powerful a force in the world then they are today. Let’s face it, evil can never be appeased. Only when most of the evil people in an area are eliminated can there be a period of relative peace. That is the reason for wars. God uses wars to cut off evil people on both sides and when most of the evil people are eliminated He establishes a time of peace. The whole world obviously is once again entering a time for war.

If Hitler and his Nazis were only appeased and today they controlled the world would the world be a better place to live? Only if you love being slaves of evil tyrants. The Nazis controlled all of Europe with a small minority. Those controlling Islam have many parallels to Nazis. The evil Islamic fascists leading Muslims down this path might be a minority but they certainly already have control over the majority in Muslim areas of the world. They also are much more a danger to the people of the world then the Nazis ever were. So the world’s mobilization against this evil must happen again sooner or later but the longer the cancer is allowed to spread the bigger the danger to the patient. Putting down various terrorist attacks is only like putting Band-Aids on tumors. The evil cancer must be eradicated if the world is to survive.

Enough is enough of radical Islam

Enough with the lies. Stop telling us that Islam is a religion of peace. If it is, prove it through action. Stop telling us that President-elect Obama will fix our broken relationship with the Muslim world. They hate Obama just as much as they hated President George W. Bush, although they think Obama is more of a patsy than Bush was. Stop telling us that we shouldn’t worry about the Islamic infiltration of our economy. If the Saudis own a large chunk of our banking institutions and control the oil market, they can certainly leverage their influence in dangerous ways.

Enough. After the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, the plane downed in Pennsylvania, the endless suicide bombings, shootings and rocket attacks in Israel, the Bali bombings, the synagogue bombing in Tunisia, the LAX shootings, the Kenyan hotel bombing, the Casablanca attacks, the Turkey synagogue attacks, the Madrid bombings, the London bombings, and the repeated attacks in India culminating in the Mumbai massacres – among literally thousands of others – it’s about time that the West got the point: We’re in a war. Our enemies are determined. They will not quit just because we offer them Big Macs, Christina Aguilera CDs, or even the freedom to vote. They will not quit just because we ensure that they have Qurans in their Guantanamo cells, or because we offer to ban “The Satanic Verses” (as India did). They will only quit when they are dead. It is our job to make them so, and to eliminate every obstacle to their destruction.

So enough. No more empty talk. No more idle promises. No more happy ignorance, half measures, or appeasement-minded platitudes. The time for hard-nosed, uncompromising action hasn’t merely come – it’s been overdue by seven years. The voice of our brothers’ blood cries out from the ground.

Pat Buchanan sees the economic fix by our government the same way I do. Bush, Obama and the entire Congress are now making the same mistakes that brought us to this crises in the first place and they are now multiplying those mistakes exponentially. Their misguided unconstitutional treasonous policies can only bring this nation down. Within two years the United States will either default on its debts or within five years the USA will inflate their way to the same end result. With U.S. homeowners, consumers, companies and banks now going bust, why must the nation borrow trillions more to bail them out? So we can maintain our status and standard of living as the last superpower.

Bush and Obama are competing to shovel out trillions of dollars, so we can return to the good times of yesterday.

But wasn’t yesterday the root cause of today? Didn’t saving nothing and spending more than we earn, purchasing what we cannot afford in cars, consumer goods and houses, buying far more from abroad than we sell abroad – didn’t that cause this crisis and crash?

A family man in America’s condition, awash in debt, spending more than he makes, would cut back consumption, find a second job and get out of debt. Or declare bankruptcy, accept the shame and humiliation, change his wastrel ways and start anew.

Is it different for a nation?

Yet we seem to believe we can borrow and spend our way out of a swamp of unpayable debt into which borrowing and spending have plunged us.

We are headed either for default on our debts and bankruptcy as a nation, or something less honorable: a quiet cheapening of the debts we have incurred by inflating and destroying the dollar, robbing our creditors
of what we owe them and robbing our own people of the value of what they have earned. And so it has come to this.

I guess I am not the only one who sees a great depression and an American revolution on the horizon. If world trend forecaster Gerald Celente has this one right and I have no reason to believe that he does not have it right, it all goes downhill from here.

The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions – all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.

Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.

Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts

Celente, who successfully predicted the 1997 Asian Currency Crisis, the subprime mortgage collapse and the massive devaluation of the U.S. dollar, told UPI in November last year that the following year would be known as “The Panic of 2008,” adding that “giants (would) tumble to their deaths,” which is exactly what we have witnessed with the collapse of Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and others. He also said that the dollar would eventually be devalued by as much as 90 per cent.

Dr. David R. Reagan gives his discerning thoughts about the 2008 election. I totally agree with what he is is saying. I would point out that one of the reasons that only 59 percent of the eligible voters voted is that neither major party gave Conservatives and true Christians a candidate that we could vote for. We must never let that happen again.

We may only have one more national presidential election to get this right or in the out years we will find ourselves trying to elect an opposition leader in a fascist like climate of Putin’s Russia. Even in 2012 the playing field and the rules officials will give the Liberal home team a huge advantage. The only way we can succeed is by a huge grass roots conservative effort. Our nation has just elected the most pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-Capitalist, and anti-Israel president in our history. In short, God has given us the kind of leader that we deserve — the kind we have been begging for. The new President now has the power to put his radical secular imprint upon this nation for decades to come through the appointment of activist liberals to the Supreme Court. I fear that our nation has been irrevocably changed for the worse.

Two factors in this election were particularly disappointing to me. First was the fact that only 59% of eligible voters bothered to vote. That was less than in the last presidential election. How could people be so apathetic in an election so important? The second voting statistic that hit me hard was the revelation that even among self-identified Evangelicals, the majority voted according to economic considerations rather than moral ones.

The financial woes of our nation are not going to be solved by any economic strategy, for they are rooted in our spiritual rebellion against God. We cannot kill babies in their mother’s wombs, promote same-sex marriage, produce filthy movies and TV programs, worship the dollar, and pressure Israel to give up its heartland, and expect God to bless our economy. Our economy will be healed only when we as a nation get right with God.

Our Recent Financial Collapse

In 2003 I wrote a book about the United States in Bible prophecy. It was entitled, America the Beautiful? In that book I presented several scenarios to explain why the United States was not mentioned in end time Bible prophecy. I stated at the time that the one I thought would be most likely would be a catastrophic financial collapse. That conclusion was based on the fact that the god of our nation has become money, and the true God of this world is a jealous God. I felt like our Creator would sooner or later touch our false god and destroy it if we did not repent.

As I pointed out in my book about the U.S. in prophecy, the Bible reveals that God has a pattern for dealing with nations. He is the one who creates them, and He is the one who decides when they are to cease to exist. He blesses as they are obedient to His Word, and He disciplines when they stray from His Word. His discipline will first of all take the form of raising up prophetic voices to call the nation to repentance. If this fails, He will resort to remedial judgments. Those judgments can take many forms, such as natural disasters, economic calamities, and defeat in wars. And sometimes a remedial judgment can take the form of giving to a nation the kind of evil leadership it deserves. If the nation still refuses to repent, God will deliver it from judgment to destruction.

What are we as Christians to do in the face of such set-backs for our nation? We are to pray and stand for righteousness. We must pray for national revival, and at the same time, we must be willing to take a stand for righteousness by speaking out boldly about the moral rot that has infected the soul of our country. We need to pray that God will frustrate, confuse, and defeat all the efforts to further secularize our nation and promote immorality.

We also need to pray for the salvation of our new President and all his family members. Despite his protestations to the contrary, Barack Obama is not a Christian, nor has he ever been. I can say that with confidence because he is a member of the most liberal Christian denomination, the United Church of Christ. This is a church that denies the divinity of Jesus and denies His statement in John 14:6 that He is the only way to God. No one can be saved apart from Jesus, and no one can be saved by putting their faith in a false Jesus

Dave is correct about the vast majority of Christianity in America and the West. We have become like our mother Israel who became a Harlot and God cast her out of the land. Christianity in America is on her death bed. What happened to our Mother Harlot Israel will now happen to the apostate church. Therefore the next work of God will be judgment not revival.

God will not spare America from judgment. Even now we should see the walls of this great nation are crumbling, the family is being destroyed and every sort of evil is allowed and celebrated. Judgment is at the door but everyone thinks their political idols will save them. They will not.

America’s greatness was given by God and was a gift of God’s favor on a nation that honored Him. God no longer has a reason to favor America where He is outlawed and where even the people called by His name look toward Idols in men and government rather than looking toward the Lord. God has no reason to favor a nation that has departed from His ways to embrace doctrines of devils and the ways of the morally insane.

Now America can expect the curse she has brought on herself by abanding God and His ways. The faithful righteous will put there trust in the Lord and not in men through the coming storm and wait for the new day to dawn. America is a dying country. I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but America is a dead man walking.

The once great “shining city on a hill” is gasping for breath. Everywhere you turn you are faced with the harsh truth that the death rattle has begun. We are a dying people controlled by a dying government, infected with the dead leadership of dead men, who chew on a dead gospel served-up in dead churches, by dead pastors living out a dead faith.

The stench of death is permeating our society. How could this possibly be? America, has wandered “out of the way of understanding.” Make no mistake about it; America is dying of spiritual starvation. We are the victims of spiritual bulimia, willingly vomiting out all that would nourish us.

America is a congregation of the dead.

We have no one to blame but the Church. I know that makes many of you nervous as you cling to your “dead faith full of dead works” believing that God is pleased with your apathy towards the spiritual condition of this nation. You, my Christian friends, are complicit in the spiritual coup that has swept over America. Compromise is the birthing ground of sin. Savorless salt producing good-for-nothing Christianity.

We are a nation of liars, following liars, believing liars, and celebrating liars. Jesus said “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. We have rejected His words, and we have rejected His life. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

Much of America is Christian in Name Only. (CHINO) We wear Jesus like a merit badge from the Boy Scouts. But for most Americans church membership is no different than membership in the local Moose Lodge or the American Legion. It is a social structure where like-minded folks get together for fellowship. Like the Shriners, the Church is a club for do-gooders who want to shine their “Christian Medals” for their friends to see.

We have rejected God, rejected His Truth, and rejected His Son. We have embraced death, celebrate death, and subsidize death.

We are a congregation of the dead.

Our government is corrupt because our people are corrupt. Our people are corrupt because our churches are corrupt. Most serve mammon and give lip-service to God. Pastors beg the government to permit them to preach what God has commanded them to say. No man can serve two masters.

God is judging America my friends. Fifty million babies, sodomy in the streets, and the purging of His name….

On the domestic front the author of this article should also have mentioned the amnesty no win program, terrorism, a run on the dollar, hyper inflation, high unemployment, riots, energy shortages, rationing, a draft, perhaps an EMP attack, thought police and maybe a police state. On the foreign threat he missed North Korea, Venezuela, and probably the next world war. It is highly probable that that moment, the very hour that he takes office, will be the high point of his presidency. Whoever wins on November 4 will be ascending to the job at one of the most difficult times for an American chief executive in at least half a century.

At some point reality will bite hard and politicians will discover that they simply cannot go on funding two wars, cutting taxes, creating vast new government health and pension programmes and doing the other essential things that the Federal Government does

The US is now indisputably entering the darkest phase of a period that will not only produce real hardship, but could send further shocks through financial markets and cause deeper fiscal damage.

Then there is energy policy. Weaning America off its oil addiction might actually need to be a policy rather than a slogan in the next four years; but that will place new burdens on the budget and require sacrifices difficult to make in good times, let alone in economically distressed ones.

Compared with all this, foreign policy looks like a doddle.

The next president has only to complete the process of transition in Iraq, win the war in Afghanistan, face down a resurgent Russia, continue to keep its foot on the throat of stateless Islamist terrorism, stop Iran from going nuclear and figure out what to do about the challenge from China – the most serious threat to US global hegemony since America became top nation.

Oh, and I didn’t mention Pakistan. Conversations this week with advisers to both campaigns suggest that both now see Pakistan – especially after last week’s terrorist attack in Islamabad – as perhaps the most intractable and serious challenge of all in the next few years: they candidly admit that no one has much of a clue what to do about it.

This article on the dangers and effects of an EMP is quite informative. I wrote on this issue a few time already but I think we had all better become more aware of this danger.

A EMP attack is probably the prime event that could eliminate the U.S. from being a factor in end time Bible prophecy. When you read the below article take note that Dr. Graham thinks a EMP could reduce the population of the U.S. to about 30 million people. Dr. Graham is not a crackpot he is the foremost expert on EMP’s. He knows what he is talking about. The EMP will not kill anyone directly but it will make all our critical infrastructure systems fail without any hope of a recovery for months or years. We simply could not support most of our population and people would be dying in days.

This is not idol speculation. This danger is well known by our military and our government but congress just cannot seem to do what is right to protect America.

This article indicates that Iran is preparing for an EMP attack against America and if they had such a capability does anyone doubt that they would use it? For this reason alone we must NEVER allow Iran to ever build nuclear weapons. Some may say they would not dare launch an EMP against the U.S. because it would be the end of them. Well maybe that would be true if you were dealing with sane people. These people think that the Maudi would come and fight for them. Iran could also give a nuke to terrorists and it could be launched from a freighter. So then do we nuke Iran without proof that they were even behind it? So Iran must NEVER be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Some people say they would not be a threat to our nation but these people are not seeing the EMP picture. An EMP could bring the end of this nation.

We also could be done in by a single EMP weapon from China, Russia, or even North Korea. China and Russia have both reminded us of that possibility within the last decade. There are other dangers as well such as Pakistan and non state sponsored terrorist organizations.

I do have to disagree somewhat as to what is the defense against an EMP. This article only talks about a missile shield. An anti missile might intercept a missile fired from another state but it is not likely to intercept a missile from a ship near our coast. It also should be obvious that no state is going to launch an EMP attack on the U.S. and then announce that they did it. So, even if Russia or China were to launch a single missile or two fired from a sub or a surface vessel they will promptly destroy the evidence before we could determine who was behind the attack. So then do we attack everyone with a EMP capability?

Besides stopping unstable nations from getting nuclear weapons material the single most important thing we can do to protect ourselves from an EMP attack is to harden all our critical infrastructure from the effects of an EMP. It would not cost that much to do. It is simply putting a metal shield around electronic and electrical devices as they are being built. It could be largely accomplished in 5 to 10 years if we started now. However, this EMP threat has been known for decades. After the 9/11 attack Congress commissioned experts to report on the EMP threat and that report was given to them four years ago but nothing since has been done. The report reads much like this article but it goes into much more detail.

So with that in mind I would say we can expect an EMP anytime within the next decade and I would say we will still be completely vulnerable to an EMP attack because our government is irrational and it is not likely that they will take the action necessary to make our infrastructures survivable.

I will also say that this is most likely the way that America will be eliminated from end time prophetic events. That might be a bleak announcement but the probability of an EMP happening and causing the destruction of our population is more likely than not. Especially now that the U.S. government and most people in this nation are denying the God that made the U.S. prosper and endorsing debauchery.

“They’ve got [test] ranges in Iran which are more than long enough to handle Scud launches and even Shahab-3 launches,” Dr. Graham said. “Why would they be launching from the surface of the Caspian Sea? They obviously have not explained that to us.”

Another troubling group of tests involved Shahab-3 launches where the Iranians “detonated the warhead near apogee, not over the target area where the thing would eventually land, but at altitude,” Graham said. “Why would they do that?”

Graham chairs the Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack, a blue-ribbon panel established by Congress in 2001.

The commission examined the Iranian tests “and without too much effort connected the dots,” even though the U.S. intelligence community previously had failed to do so, Graham said.

“The only plausible explanation we can find is that the Iranians are figuring out how to launch a missile from a ship and get it up to altitude and then detonate it,” he said. “And that’s exactly what you would do if you had a nuclear weapon on a Scud or a Shahab-3 or other missile, and you wanted to explode it over the United States.”

The commission warned in a report issued in April that the United States was at risk of a sneak nuclear attack by a rogue nation or a terrorist group designed to take out our nation’s critical infrastructure.

“If even a crude nuclear weapon were detonated anywhere between 40 kilometers to 400 kilometers above the earth, in a split-second it would generate an electro-magnetic pulse [EMP] that would cripple military and civilian communications, power, transportation, water, food, and other infrastructure,” the report warned.

Within a week or two of the attack, people would start dying, Graham says.

“People in hospitals would be dying faster than that, because they depend on power to stay alive. But then it would go to water, food, civil authority, emergency services. And we would end up with a country with many, many people not surviving the event.”

Asked just how many Americans would die if Iran were to launch the EMP attack it appears to be preparing, Graham gave a chilling reply.

“You have to go back into the 1800s to look at the size of population” that could survive in a nation deprived of mechanized agriculture, transportation, power, water, and communication.

“I’d have to say that 70 to 90 percent of the population would not be sustainable after this kind of attack,” he said.

America would be reduced to a core of around 30 million people

Rep. Trent Franks, R, Ariz., plans to introduce legislation next week that would require the Pentagon to lay the groundwork for an eventual military strike against Iran, to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and EMP capability.

“An EMP attack on America would send us back to the horse and buggy era — without the horse and buggy,” he told the Claremont Institute conference on Saturday. “If you’re a terrorist, this is your ultimate goal, your ultimate asymmetric weapon.”

Noting Iran’s recent sea-launched and mid-flight warhead detonation tests, Rep. Franks concluded, “They could do it — either directly or anonymously by putting some freighter out there on the ocean.”
