I agree with what Chuck Baldwin is saying. The Conservative movement is dead and trying to raise it from the dead in the Republican party will just raise a dead man walking. The Republicans did nothing but make a mockery of Christian Conservatives over the years. What Conservatives need is a new “Heartland Party” that is solidly conservative and the time to build that Heartland Party is now.

If we waste our time with the tested and the failed Republican establishment we are fools. If you put your hope in a woman in Alaska like she can ever get elected in this nation through the Republican establishment without embracing their agenda you are wrong. If you think she can change the entrenched Republican establishment you are wrong. She would just have to embrace their agenda like she did with McCain or she will get no support. If you put your hope in Newt Gingrich running the Republican party the Republicans might even win a election someday but nothing will change for Christian Conservatives. The Republicans will still just go along with the progressive agenda like they did for the last forty years. Gingrich is just another opportunist and globalist who has drank the global warming Kool-Aid that will bring more taxes and control on everything and everyone. It will be Republican business as unusual if Conservatives stay with the Republicans.

We need radical change and that means a Christian/Conservative Heartland Party that is formed from the grass roots of rural people in America. There are fundamental value differences between Americans in rural areas and those living in big cities and in the high density coast lands. We need a party that represents the conservative and Christian rural people of heartland America.

The time to start this new party is now and all time wasted trying to resurrect the Republican Party is wasted time. All we need is the support of ten percent of the people of America to get this new Heartland Party off the ground and in a position of national attention by 2011-2012. When god fearing Christians and true conservatives see that there is a viable alternative to the Republicans they will abandon the
Republican Party like rats from a sinking ship. But A new party that represents the Heartland will never happen if nobody ever tries to bring it about.

Chuck Baldwin — Conservatives Lost More Than An Election

For all intents and purposes, conservatism–as a national movement–is completely and thoroughly dead. Barack Obama did not destroy it, however. It was George W. Bush and John McCain who destroyed conservatism in America.

Soon after G.W. Bush was elected, it quickly became obvious he was no conservative. On the contrary, George Bush has forever established himself as a Big-Government, warmongering, internationalist neocon. Making matters worse was the way Bush presented himself as a conservative Christian. In fact, Bush’s portrayal of himself as a conservative Christian paved the way for the betrayal and ultimate destruction of conservatism (something I also predicted years ago). And the greatest tragedy of this deception is the way that Christian conservatives so thoroughly (and stupidly) swallowed the whole Bush/McCain neocon agenda.

For example, Bush and his fellow neocons like to categorize and promote themselves as being “pro-life,” but they have no hesitation or reservation about killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people in reckless and unconstitutional foreign wars. By the same token, how many unborn babies were saved by six years of all three branches of the federal government being under the control of these “pro-life” neocons? Not one! Ask the more than eight million unborn babies who were killed in their mothers’ wombs during the last eight years how “pro-life” George W. Bush and John McCain are.

As a result of this insanely inconsistent and pixilated punditry, millions of Americans now laugh at the very notion of “pro-life” conservatism. Bush and McCain have made a mockery of the very term.

Across the country, rather than stand on principle, hundreds of thousands of pastors, Christians, and pro-life conservatives capitulated and groveled before John McCain’s neocon agenda. In doing so, they forfeited any claim to truth, and they abandoned any and all fidelity to constitutional government. They should rip the stories of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego out of their Bibles. They should never again tell their children, parishioners, and radio audiences the importance of standing for truth and principle. They have made a mockery of Christian virtue. No wonder a majority of the voting electorate laughs at us Christians. No wonder the GOP crashed and burned last Tuesday.

Again, it wasn’t Barack Obama who destroyed conservatism; it was George W. Bush, John McCain, and the millions of evangelical Christians who supported them. And until conservatives find their backbone and their convictions, they deserve to remain a burnt-out, has-been political force. They have no one to blame but themselves.

And since it is unlikely that the Republican Party has enough sense to understand any of this and will, therefore, do little to reestablish genuine conservative principles, it is probably best to just go ahead and bury the scoundrels now and move on to something else. Without a sincere commitment to constitutional government, the GOP has no justifiable reason to ever govern again. Therefore, put a fork in them. They are done. Let a new entity arise from the ashes: one that will stand for something more than just “the lesser of two evils.” As we say in the South, That dog just won’t hunt anymore.

Dr. David R. Reagan gives his discerning thoughts about the 2008 election. I totally agree with what he is is saying. I would point out that one of the reasons that only 59 percent of the eligible voters voted is that neither major party gave Conservatives and true Christians a candidate that we could vote for. We must never let that happen again.

We may only have one more national presidential election to get this right or in the out years we will find ourselves trying to elect an opposition leader in a fascist like climate of Putin’s Russia. Our nation has just elected the most pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-Capitalist, and anti-Israel president in our history. In short, God has given us the kind of leader that we deserve — the kind we have been begging for. The new President now has the power to put his radical secular imprint upon this nation for decades to come through the appointment of activist liberals to the Supreme Court. I fear that our nation has been irrevocably changed for the worse.

Two factors in this election were particularly disappointing to me. First was the fact that only 59% of eligible voters bothered to vote. That was less than in the last presidential election. How could people be so apathetic in an election so important? The second voting statistic that hit me hard was the revelation that even among self-identified Evangelicals, the majority voted according to economic considerations rather than moral ones.

The financial woes of our nation are not going to be solved by any economic strategy, for they are rooted in our spiritual rebellion against God. We cannot kill babies in their mother’s wombs, promote same-sex marriage, produce filthy movies and TV programs, worship the dollar, and pressure Israel to give up its heartland, and expect God to bless our economy. Our economy will be healed only when we as a nation get right with God.

Our Recent Financial Collapse

In 2003 I wrote a book about the United States in Bible prophecy. It was entitled, America the Beautiful? In that book I presented several scenarios to explain why the United States was not mentioned in end time Bible prophecy. I stated at the time that the one I thought would be most likely would be a catastrophic financial collapse. That conclusion was based on the fact that the god of our nation has become money, and the true God of this world is a jealous God. I felt like our Creator would sooner or later touch our false god and destroy it if we did not repent.

As I pointed out in my book about the U.S. in prophecy, the Bible reveals that God has a pattern for dealing with nations. He is the one who creates them, and He is the one who decides when they are to cease to exist. He blesses as they are obedient to His Word, and He disciplines when they stray from His Word. His discipline will first of all take the form of raising up prophetic voices to call the nation to repentance. If this fails, He will resort to remedial judgments. Those judgments can take many forms, such as natural disasters, economic calamities, and defeat in wars. And sometimes a remedial judgment can take the form of giving to a nation the kind of evil leadership it deserves. If the nation still refuses to repent, God will deliver it from judgment to destruction.

What are we as Christians to do in the face of such set-backs for our nation? We are to pray and stand for righteousness. We must pray for national revival, and at the same time, we must be willing to take a stand for righteousness by speaking out boldly about the moral rot that has infected the soul of our country. We need to pray that God will frustrate, confuse, and defeat all the efforts to further secularize our nation and promote immorality.

We also need to pray for the salvation of our new President and all his family members. Despite his protestations to the contrary, Barack Obama is not a Christian, nor has he ever been. I can say that with confidence because he is a member of the most liberal Christian denomination, the United Church of Christ. This is a church that denies the divinity of Jesus and denies His statement in John 14:6 that He is the only way to God. No one can be saved apart from Jesus, and no one can be saved by putting their faith in a false Jesus

So the obvious question is: Why is the Obama audio not all over the major media outlets? Why not get it out there and let people hear the words of the man who may be the next leader of the free world? Sorry, I forgot. The MSM has been in the tank for Obama all along. And if Obama’s true intentions are exposed, people may vote for Sen. John McCain or another candidate — or not at all. The MSM fear rocking the boat. With this election neck and neck, their boy could lose.

Dave Daubenmire sees the hypocrisy of the vast majority of Christian blacks voting for a black candidate just because he is part black. Had he inherited his mother’s skin color I doubt if he would be holding any office, yet running for President.

The real point is why would any Christian vote on basis of skin color? That is racism. Christians should be voting for those who will advance the cause of Jesus Christ in this nation and voting for a leader that will allow Christians to live in this land in peace. If a black votes for a black candidate because of the color of his skin it is considered a “vote of pride.” If a white man votes against a man because of the color of his skin he is considered racist. Hal Lindsey believes this election will determine the path that America will take in the future. He gives many statements from our forefathers that warn us that a free people cannot take the path of big government control over the people. That position of course is correct.

One party in this election has obvious intentions of departing from the government that was set up by our founding fathers. So if you vote that party you would be more correct to call yourself a Marxist/Communist/Socialist than one who believes in our democratic constitutional republic. The other party is on life support. Today I read a report from a journalist that said if Obama losses there will be a civil war. She claims the voting is rigged by the Republicans. If anything, the voting is rigged in favor of the Democrats by the election fraud actions of ACORN. If people riot and burn because their man loses a free election they will have departed from our constitution and must be dealt with by those who enforce our laws.

However, I have more news for this journalist. If the Democrats win and the Democrats try to force a unconstitutional government and their immoral ways down the throats of Americans there will also be a civil war. That right was given to us in our Constitution and the writing of the Declaration of Independence.

Due to the departing of many from Christian values with the resultant immorality and socialism America is now a very divided nation and civil war is certainly possible, but if it comes it will come because of those who have departed from the law of the land. Civil war is certain if people try to overthrow this Republic from within the government or from without the government. Law enforcing people in this nation have sworn to defend the Constitution of this Republic against all enemies foreign and domestic - and most of us will.

As a “Watchman on the Wall,” I believe Election 2008 will permanently determine the future path America will take. I fear that most Americans do not understand the true issues they are voting on.

Among other things, this election may determine whether the government will be empowered to forcefully take money earned by some Americans and redistribute it as it chooses to others.

As I have taught before for 50 years, there are certain divine institutions God set forth in the Bible. They are intended for the good and welfare of all mankind. To whatever degree a people honors these institutions, they will be blessed, preserved and prospered.

First, the institutions of freedom to choose one’s own destiny and the “sanctity of life” – these were enshrined in the U.S. Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

We are given by God, not our government, the freedom to choose our own destiny and to pursue a career that brings prosperity and happiness. Our forefathers knew only too well that a government that is powerful enough to confiscate and redistribute wealth is also strong enough to take away your freedom to choose and pursue happiness.

Thomas Jefferson clearly warned us about this: “Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have.” In this election, we are making a choice – either continue to pursue our own destiny and well-being, or give the government the power to establish a “welfare state” in which it slowly takes over our basic freedoms.

With regard to moral values, the left wants to remove religion from the public arena, suppressing it to the privacy of the home. The left desires absolute freedom of abortion, special rights for homosexuals, same-sex marriage, and limitation of conservative freedom of speech through the passage of so-called “hate crime” legislation and the implementation of the “fairness doctrine” in broadcasting. The left is also determined to prohibit the teaching of Creationism as an alternative to Evolution.

The right opposes unlimited abortion and special rights for any group. The right also believes in the freedom to speak out on any issue, trusting that truth will prevail when there is an open market place of ideas.

The left desires to require public education and then use the public school system as a propaganda forum for its secularist agenda. The right believes that parents should have the freedom to educate their children at home, enroll them in private schools, or send them to public schools. And the right believes that a school, whatever its nature, should be a place of education and not propaganda.

The left has a vision of transforming the Supreme Court through the appointment of judges who will interpret the Constitution to mean whatever is convenient for the advancement of a secular, socialist society. The right desires justices who will faithfully interpret the Constitution to mean what the Founding Fathers intended.

In foreign affairs, the left seeks to diffuse nationalism in favor of regional and international integration. The left admires the secular European values produced by the French Revolution. And with regard to national security, the left has placed its hope in diplomacy rather than armaments.

The right believes in preserving the integrity of American values and identity. It believes that a strong military is the nation’s best defense and hope for peace. It resists the multiculturalism that is so attractive to the left.

If the right does not start standing up and speaking out boldly in behalf of Judeo-Christian values, Capitalism, and equality of opportunity, we will soon find ourselves living in a nation like Great Britain. It was once the center of world Christianity. Today, only 7% of Britains attend church in what has become a thoroughly secular, socialistic society where individual freedom is severely curtailed in behalf of “the common good.”

Christians need to expose political correctness for what it is instead of acting like it just a harmless reform-minded movement. It is Marxism and it is very regressive not progressive. It is simply dumb, it is idiotic, it is irresponsible to vote for a party just because it once stood for working people and unions but now totally ignore the fact that this party has been subverted by Communist elite. They do not care about the working stiff they care about those on the dole who will vote for them because they give them free handouts. Most who gain high office in this party never worked a real job in their lives. There are far more elite in the Democratic party than there are in the Republican party, not that Republicans are blameless but it is not blatantly Communist. Why do you think almost all the elite are pushing for Obama and Democrats and why does Obama have several times the money that McCain has? Follow the money and you will know which party really has the power.

Many of those who follow One-World Spirituality and pagan spirituality are committed to the economic policies of socialism, and the economic system that is based not only on the re-distribution of wealth but on the confiscation of private property as well. Multiculturalism is not the study of many cultures but the criticism of the Western Culture and its founding worldview of Christianity. Multiculturalism also desires to destroy patriotism.

Feminism is not about equal rights for women but about the destruction of a patriarchal society in favor of a matriarchal society.

The best way to combat political correctness is to expose it for what it really is—Cultural Marxism. Equally important in defeating this anti-Christian, anti-American worldview is to not comply with its mandates. Call homosexuality what it is—sin. Expose feminism for what it is—anti-family, anti-father. Expose tolerance as moral relativism and intolerance toward those who don’t conform to their dictates of tolerance. Expose sensitivity training as an attempt to destroy freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Point out to your family and friends the consequences that cultural Marxism has had and is having on our faith, families, and freedoms.

Unless you desire to live in a country where the middle class has been destroyed and we are under the tyrannical thumb of a small group of cultural elitists who control every aspect of your life, then you had better speak up. A belief and commitment to the exclusivity of Jesus Christ in a world of religions is now politically incorrect and does not conform to the mandates of cultural Marxism. The Associated Pressed reported on June 23, 2008 that a June 2008 report released by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life found that “57% of evangelical church attenders said they believe many religions can lead to eternal life. In all, 70 percent of Americans with a religious affiliation shared that view and 68 percent said there is more than one true way to interpret the teachings of their own religion.” Of course anyone that beliefs this is not really an evangelical Christian. However this report reveals that a Biblical worldview is now the minority worldview in America.

Whether they realize it or not, leaders from business, government, and organized religion are embracing One-World Spirituality. Many within the Emergent Church engage in pagan spirituality, promote pantheism and globalism, and praise the economic worldview of Karl Marx.

Perhaps one of the most visible American politicians who is living out this One-World Spirituality is former Vice President Al Gore. Gore is a former Southern Baptist turned New Ager who has embraced pantheism, pagan spirituality, socialism, and globalism and who is using radical environmentalism to bring his worldview to bear on America and the world.

“Hardship,” “persecution” and “suffering” are among the prospects in a hypothetical letter from a “Christian from 2012″ released today by evangelical leader James Dobson’s political activist group Focus on the Family Action.

Titled “Letter from 2012 in Obama’s America,” the piece clearly targets the many evangelical Christians seeking “change,” particularly the young, who could tip the election in favor of the Illinois Democrat. At the end of the letter, the fictional Christian laments that these people “simply did not realize Obama’s far-left agenda would take away many of our freedoms as a nation, perhaps permanently,” pointing to a new, liberal-majority Supreme Court unlikely to change for 30 more years.

“I get tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat,” says the fictional writer. “Now in October of 2012, after seeing what has happened in the last four years,” America is no longer “the land of the free and the home of the brave.”

“Many of our freedoms have been taken away by a liberal Supreme Court and a majority of Democrats in both the House and the Senate, and hardly any brave citizen dares to resist the new government policies any more,” the letter writer says.

I list here two articles by two astute Christian teachers that also voice my concerns about America. We are at a turning point in America but we are turning toward a philosophy that we fought against during the entire cold war period - Marxist socialism.

In Jan’s article Joe Farah asked, were you polled on the recent huge leap into socialism when the government purchased banks with taxpayer money? The answer is yes and no.

It is yes because you were polled when you elected your Liberal leftist representatives to Washington. The American people can only blame themselves for the Congress they have and the pseudo Conservative President in office.

The answer is also no because when your representatives sold this bill to the American people they said it was going to be used to buy debt instead they gave Treasury Secretary Paulson dictatorial powers. He did not use the money to buy debt as he said, he used it to buy major interests in banks and the banks were given no choice. That is socialism and the power he was given and the action he took is not constitutional.

Of course the people still do have a recourse they do not need to reelect the people that voted for this bill but all indicators say that they will. I also want you to be aware that both presidential contenders voted for this bill. Not only that, from what the polls say America is about to vote in a Marxist leaning socialist to the office of President.

If that is not bazaar enough, America is also likely to give this socialist President a super-majority in the Congress so he can enact anything he wants with no viable opposition or fear of impeachment. The last two times there was a super-majority the nation took great leaps toward socialism that put us in the debt that we are now in. Now it looks like we are about to take the final leap that will make America as Far Left as Venezuela and put this nation on a completely different path than the path our nation has been on for 230 years.

Some people say the USSR lost the cold war and Communism was defeated but actually it now appears that we are becoming them. We are now on the same path that they took and we will suffer a similar fate - socialism and bankruptcy.

Nobody wants to call a small group of elite controlling the commoners Communists anymore but that is what they are. Either call the government they propose Communism or call it socialist fascism. There is little difference in the real world.

It seems the whole world is now under the influence of fascism. Russia is fascist, The EU in becoming fascist, China is fascist, Islamic nations are fascist, Now under big government socialism we also will become fascist. Soon other regional alliances in the world also will be under socialistic fascism.

The only world government the power elite want is one where they can totally control everything people do. The world is rejoicing about Obama because we were the last major hold out preventing the elitist socialist fascist New World Order.

The real question all Americans should be asking themselves is why are we allowing it to happen here? The world socialism plan is anti-Christian, anti-constitutional, anti-life, anti-liberty, and it is anti the pursuit of individual happiness?

Commentator David Limbaugh says, “Maybe I’m being too much of an alarmist, but I’m worried for the first time in my life that the election of a presidential candidate could lead to a fundamental change in our system of government. How many times must history repeat itself before we learn that Socialism and Communism cannot work?”

Karl Marx said, “A new revolution is possible only in consequences of a new crisis.” We have a crisis. As a matter of fact, unless the world stock markets stabilize, the entire world could be looking at a financial tsunami. Many nations, including America, could be ripe for being taken over by unsavory political efforts “without firing a shot.”

The Danger Of A Super-Majority

There has been a great deal of concern over the possibility of Barack Obama winning the White House in the November 4th election. In the past few weeks, I’ve received dozens of emails from people frustrated over how one of the most liberal senators is getting a free ride to the White House.

There has been very little media coverage of what could prove to be a far more dangerous political development. Polls indicate that the Democrats have a good chance of expanding their congressional majorities past the point of having a filibuster-proof Senate.

“This would be one of the most profound political and ideological shifts in U.S. history. Liberals would dominate the entire government in a way they haven’t since 1965, or 1933. In other words, the election would mark the restoration of the activist government that fell out of public favor in the 1970s. If the U.S. really is entering a period of unchecked left-wing ascendancy, Americans at least ought to understand what they will be getting, especially with the media cheering it all on” (Wall Street Journal, 17 Oct. 2008).

During both previous times when there was a super-majority, it was possible to rewrite the rules at will. Franklin Delano Roosevelt gave us the New Deal and Lyndon Johnson created the Great Society–just fancy words for socialism.

The Democratic party of today is far more liberal than it was during any previous super-majority.

It is very likely that Obama would use executive orders to bring in his agenda and very rapidly silence his critics. Why not? The Liberal controlled Congress will not oppose anything he does and by the time the issue would even get to the Supreme Court he will also have the judges stacked in his favor.

People in much of this nation are just not going to put up with living under Obama’s dictatorial decrees and his socialist agenda of giving the wealth of the Middle Class to his own supporters who even today generally pay no taxes but instead get a government check. Obama is not one of us. He is out of touch with real America. He lived some of his life in foreign Muslim nations and the rest under the influence of Far Left socialist radicals and intercity black racists. You have no idea what the Far Left will try to do to this nation when they are in power. Of course it will all be sold as being for the greater good of the collective State as if people are ants. It should be a joke but sadly it is not. Those who have been paying their mortgages and not piling up debt are suckers. They will continue to pay their bills but the government will pay the bills of everyone who lived beyond their means and the greedy elite pigs that financed them.

Many people in America are now just going to stop paying on their houses, cars, credit cards, student loans etc. until government takes much of their debt off their hands. When that happens we are not talking about a 700 billion dollar bailout we are talking about a government that just keeps taking on trillions of dollars of new personal debt. Have you any idea what they means in the long term? It means the total collapse of our monetary system. The taxpayers cannot pay this debt and foreign governments are not going to invest in a nation that continues to pile up trillions of dollars in new debt. There will be drastically rising interest rates due to the increased risk. The government has not solved the problem they made a worse problem a couple of years down the road.

Something else is going on as well. Other major nations are dropping their own money from helicopters. Europe just said it is dumping 2 trillion dollars into the system. If the Western nations of the world continue on the course of printing money backed by nothing all the major currencies of the world will buy less and less, meaning the world is heading toward hyper-inflation. That inflation will completely wipe out the wealth of the world middle class. If anyone even tries to stop the inflation it will bring a certain world depression so the elite are never going to allow that to happen.

One might think that these people just do not know what they are doing. Or do they? Do they actually want to bring the collapse of all the major monetary systems in the world not too far down the line? Will it be at a time when they have the other pieces of their world government in place and the world inflationary economic crises will create the demand for a one world currency? Will the world elite first just let the U.S. go down the tubes by not financing her debt knowing that it will bring the U.S. to economic collapse and civil upheavals?

Don’t ever think you get something for nothing. If most people stop paying their debts no one will want to finance and hold your debt? Not even government can hold everyone’s debt because government debt also has to be financed by someone.

This little exercise that is taking place now is allowing governments all all over the world to gain control over everything. It is bringing the world into fascist world socialism. So sit back and watch the end time rope-a-dope show it should get better than Jericho and you will be living it.

If your mortgage does become the property of Uncle Sam, the growingly popular impulse to “just walk away” should be replaced by “just stay and stop paying.” No one will throw you out. After a few months, or years, of living payment free, you will get a call from a motivated government agent eager to adjust your loan into something affordable.

To bolster your bargaining position it will help to be able to claim poverty. As a result, if you have any savings, spend it soon, before they call. Buy a bigger TV, a new wardrobe, or better yet, take a vacation. After the hardship of spending all of your refi cash, you probably deserve it. If you have any guilt just remember, Washington argues that consumer spending is the best way to stimulate the economy. Living beyond your means is a patriotic duty.

If you do get the opportunity to live for a while with no mortgage payment, don’t make the tragic mistake of using your extra cash to pay down your credit cards. As the growing level of credit card defaults will soon push credit card companies into bankruptcy, we can expect a similar bailout plan for American Express and Discover Financial. When that happens, expect massive balance reductions for Americans who can demonstrate the inability to pay. The bigger your balance, the greater the benefit.

In any event, as more and more borrowers succumb to the allure and safety of nonpayment, look for the number of troubled assets to swell. This will ensure that the $700 billion merely represents the first installment in what will be a multitrillion-dollar plan. Just as government policies provided the primary impetus in blowing up the housing bubble earlier in the decade, its latest attempt at market manipulation will only result in making a terrible problem far worse.

The next president has only to complete the process of transition in Iraq, win the war in Afghanistan, face down a resurgent Russia, continue to keep its foot on the throat of stateless Islamist terrorism, stop Iran from going nuclear and figure out what to do about the challenge from China - the most serious threat to US global hegemony since America became top nation.

Oh, and I didn’t mention Pakistan. Conversations this week with advisers to both campaigns suggest that both now see Pakistan - especially after last week’s terrorist attack in Islamabad - as perhaps the most intractable and serious challenge of all in the next few years: they candidly admit that no one has much of a clue what to do about it.

• The Far Left will start new wealth transfer programs, claim they will get the money from the rich but that is impossible. They will raise taxes on the middle class.
• The Far Left will attempt to take away all guns from law abiding citizens while doing nothing to take away guns from the criminals.
• The Far Left will have the children in school report on their parents rather than the schools reporting to the parents on their children. They will tell you how you must raise your child from birth and if you do not do what you are told they will take your children.

• The Far Left will create a civilian snitch force and a national police force. They will have people who monitor what preachers say in their pulpits and attempt to intimidate them into only giving politically correct messages.

Sen. Barack Obama’s behind-closed-doors remark in San Francisco to the effect that worried blue-collar chumps cling to God and guns perfectly captured the left’s worldview, equating faith and firearms as equal menaces to an enlightened society.

Then along came Palin to appall the establishment - a moose-hunting Christian with a working-class husband, the precise stereotype Obama had mocked. The media’s attacks on her since her nomination have been the most unfair I’ve ever seen.

I come from a world where belief is powerful - small-town, hardscrabble America. I have relatives whose faith is embedded in exuberant communal worship and public celebrations of redemption and joy. Washington, the professorate and the media not only don’t understand such believers, they despise them.

Earlier this week, I watched, sickened, as CNN did its best to excite fear of Palin’s religious beliefs.

for all the joyous noise at those Alaskan churches, I’ll bet my life that none of the pastors who preached to Palin over the years ever shouted “God damn America!” or blamed the United States for the world’s ills, or accused our government of creating AIDS to kill black Americans.

None of the bigoted, hate-filled rants of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright have been replayed to counterbalance the mockery heaped upon Palin’s religious background. Of course, Wright’s anti-American tirades fit the worldview of the Dems’ left-wing base - so Obama got a pass when he claimed that, over 20 years, he never heard any hate speech in Wright’s church.

Besides, Dems believe that blacks are supposed to jump around and shout in church - but whites who do that are wackos. (No stereotypes there, folks!)
