The United States has a big opportunity to kill the terrorists that identify as ISIS. These terrorists have made it abundantly clear that they will kill Americans and anyone else in the world that does not accept their version of Islamic rule. Obama’s dithering on dealing with ISIS is just letting a good crisis go to waste.

The unforeseen election loss of Eric Cantor is one of the biggest political upsets in American history. The Republican Majority Leader was dethroned by a conservative unknown named David Brat. Cantor outspent Brat $40 to $1. He was still expected to win his primary by a landslide just days before the Republican primary election but Cantor lost by a landslide. David beat Goliath.

Apparently, people in Virginia were heavily influenced by the headline news of the dumping of thousands of children from Central America on our southern borders and Cantor’s insistence that amnesty and immigration reforms had to be pushed through the House this summer.… continue reading

Will America avoid the coming foreign wars or coming civil war?

If America gets involved in a major war in the Middle East or in Asia, the usual rallying around the flag might make it possible for America to avoid a civil war unless the war becomes unpopular or the draft is restarted. If a foreign war and the rallying around the flag does not happen, the future for America could be even more bleak than a foreign war because race baiters and socialistic radicals are fueling divisions in America that very well could lead to civil warfare.

I thought that President Obama would order an air strike on Syria as soon as this Labor Day weekend, but as I completed the first draft of this article, President Obama surprised me and announced that he would seek congressional approval before he ordered a strike on Syria. I previously was thinking that Obama would just ignore the Constitution and the Wars Powers Act and just go it alone against President Basher Assad of Syria and that is the reason for my “Obama plays one-on-one with Assad but loses control of backboard” title.

As you probably already know Israel bombed targets inside of Syria recently. The word from Assad is that if it happens again He will declare war on Israel. Even so, I think that Assad should have received the message that it will not be in his best interest to allow advanced weapons from Iran to be transferred to Hezbollah through Syria.

I am sure that either Iran conspired with Assad to allow the weapons transfer, or Hezbollah is running its own show in Syria. The primary Windows XP computer system that I have used for almost 10 years crashed last week and would not boot into Windows. I tried everything to no avail, so I eventually reformatted the disk. I reloaded windows XP and tried to download service pack 2 and 3 from Microsoft but that is one experience that failed that I would not like to try to duplicate any time soon.

It appears to be a near certainty that NATO will soon get involved in the action in Syria. They will probably get directly involved within a matter of days or a couple of weeks. The United States, France, and Great Britain have aircraft carriers in place and they have thousands of special forces ready to move into Syria to secure the Syrian WMD sites.

The next summer of recovery is upon us and the only thing certain is that there will be no economic recovery this summer just like there was no recovery in the previous summers under the Obama administration. The latest official unemployment figures have just gone up again and the number of first time seekers of unemployment benefits are also climbing again.

The average American family has lost 39 percent of their net worth in just the last three years. That 39 percent figure does not include inflation so the real loss of net worth since 2008 is nearing 50 percent. The death of outspoken conservative Andrew Breitbart last week was quite a shock especially since he was telling everyone that something would be unveiled on March 1st about Obama that would be the beginning of the end for Obama. Breitbart collapsed and died while walking home from a bar shortly after midnight on the morning of March 1st.

Andrew Breitbart was only 43 but thus far police are saying that he died of natural causes. An autopsy has been performed but they say they are still waiting for the toxicology report before the finding will be released.
