“Jewish People: Rejected or Beloved”, review by Don Koenig

I recently received a signed complementary copy of the new book “The Jewish People: Rejected or Beloved?“, from Dr. David R. Reagan. After I read the book, I thought it was important to do a book review on my Blog to help get out his message. Others need to get more informed about the history of the Jews and about certain heretical theologies that Christendom has regarding the Jews. This book accomplishes that job.

First, let me say, that Dr. Reagan is the founder of Lamb & Lion Ministries. The ministry has an active website, a TV program called “Christ in Prophecy”, and a magazine named “LAMPLIGHTER”.… continue reading

Charismatics leading others to offer strange fire before the Lord

I had shoulder surgery Friday so I really am not physically or mentally up to doing any long post this week. It all seems to be going well but I think the steroids or something else they used really did a number on my ability to think through issues or even stay awake.

Probably one of the most important issues in Christendom is taking place at Grace Church led by John MacArthur. It is called the Fresh Fire Conference and is getting into all the negative influences that the Charismatic/Pentecostal Movement is having on the modern Church.

Whether you agree with MacArthur that the signs gifts ceased or not, you might want to hear out his arguments against what is taking place in the Charismatic movement under various movement subtitles.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Oct 2013

People are wondering how the House of Representatives not funding parts of our federal government will all play out. That really is not the main problem because they already funded most of our government in separate bills. About 83 percent of government employees are working again and they all will get paid. The more critical issues is the need to raise the national debt ceiling limit by October 17th or the U.S. Treasury says we could have a debt default.

This is not to be taken lightly because Treasury Secretary Lew, has cleaned out every government trust fund in existence over the last couple of months to pay the bills.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Jul 2013

This week the major news headline is the coup in Egypt. Those that oppose an Islamic Fascist theocracy ruling over them got the backing of the military and the military took over the government.

As usual the Obama administration shows every indication that it is on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood. Those in Washington seem to think that a democratically elected leader should serve out their term even if that leader becomes a tyrant forcing a new constitution and Islamic law on everyone. Much of Egypt apparently thought differently.

Egypt still has big problems ahead. The Muslim Brotherhood clerics are stirring up counter reactions against the military as I write.… continue reading

What do you think will happen in America and the World in 2013?

I think I wrote enough articles for a while that tell others what I believe will happen in the very near future. Now I want to hear what you readers think will happen in the United States and the world before the end of 2013?

This is a brainstorming session and I want your own gut feelings but try to base them on reasonable arguments.  I am not much interested in the views of the brain-dead. There must be other critical thinkers out there that have some worthwhile insights about where we are heading other than the talking heads on the media?… continue reading

Bill Salus teaching blazes an alternate path to Revelation Road

There are a few new names in the eschatology field that did not get there by first obtaining a formal theological education. Some such as Chuck Missler, Tom Horn and Bill Salus earned a respected name in Eschatology by doing independent research and then coming up with end time scenarios that do not exactly fit within the classic dispensational eschatology box.

Not all original thinkers like these base their views on scripture or sound hermeneutics, so you do have to check them out. I recently did reviews on two of Tom Horns books and I could not give them my endorsement, because it seems to me that Horn’s books are mostly based on trying to find the future in demonic writings.… continue reading

Afro-Americans that refuse racism show whites their own integrity

As a youth growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s in a blue collar neighborhood on the east side of Buffalo N.Y., that was turning increasingly Afro-American, I know first hand what racism is. I grew up in racism and it was abundantly coming from both sides.

Blacks were not a big problem in the high school that I went to. My big difficultly with blacks in those days was not in school it was walking to and from school. I walked three miles through a black section of Buffalo to get to school and to get home. In my first and second year it was not a problem because I could walk with my two older brothers who happened to have the two biggest guys in the whole school as friends that also walked with us through the black section.… continue reading

The Pastor Has No Clothes – an in-brief perspective

I recently read “The Pastor Has No Clothes”, by Jon Zens. I have to say right off that “The Pastor Has No Clothes” seems to me to be deliberately padded to add more pages so that it would be more acceptable as a book. It contains a few old and new essays by Zens that articulates pretty much the same story from slightly different angles and it also includes Zens response to excerpts in Eugene Peterson’s “The Pastor: A Memoir“, and a few other appendixes. The book is only 161 pages so the book is brief and literally could be your in-brief reading some morning.… continue reading

Donald Trumping up cold fusion so I can declare war on my green hell

I am not going to have much time this week to write new posts because there is one law of nature in the Ozarks that is an absolute. If you do not keep the creeping green hell here in check it will soon take over everything. Those that live in the white hell of a Buffalo winter can only begin to understand the green hell here. There you either keep up with the white hell or you have to wait until spring to find out where you parked your car. But, the green hell of the Ozarks is magnitudes worse. You can’t shovel the green hell out-of-the-way you have to cut it out with machetes, brush hogs, riding mowers, bulldozers or get goats.… continue reading

Chuck Baldwin Draws the line in the sand (or snow) of Montana.

I think this article by Chuck Baldwin draws the line in the sand (or should I say the snows) of Montana that the government need not attempt to cross. These items should be non negotiable to any real American patriot. I am posting this because I just happen to agree with all the lines in the sand that Baldwin has drawn in his article. I am sure I could add some more, but I think what he has here is a fine start.

Here is an except from his article it gives the opening statement for his non negotiables.

I would argue that we, like our patriot forebears, have also endured “patient sufferance.”

1930’s socialists reincarnated to play in the 2010’s world war games.

There are many parallels to the 1930’s today. History does repeat itself. It seems the socialists of the 1930’s have been reincarnated to play in the upcoming 2010’s world war games.

In the 1930’s the world was heading into a decade of deep depression. All indicators are that in the 2010’s the world will see the same economic fate. In the 1930’s socialism was the big rising ideology. There were some differences between the various socialisms of the 1930’s but they all had many similarities as well, such as government having control over everyone and the redistributing wealth. There was the Hitler’s style, the Lenin/Stalin’s style, Mussolini’s Fascist style, Mao’s style and even FDR’s New Deal style.… continue reading

The good ole Joe Sheriffs of Arizona: Sheriff Joe Richards and Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Some of the good ole Joe county sheriff’s of Arizona actually believe in carrying out their constitutional mandate. These sheriffs are not figureheads as they are in some states where law enforcement is mainly done by the cities and the State police. The counties of Arizona are some of the largest counties in the nations.

I actually personally knew the Sheriff of Coconino County Arizona for a short period of time. His name is Sheriff Joe Richards (recently retired).

I met Joe Richards when I attended a home church group that he led when I was going to college at NAU for a year.… continue reading

Shame has died so what hope is there?

Everyone knows what Dave said in this article is true. It is a shame that there is no shame anymore and unless people can again be ashamed of their wickedness there is no hope either.

Dave Daubenmire — The Death of Shame

here is the tragic part. We know that they lie, yet we still consider them qualified for public service. Pastors endorse them, pundits justify their behavior, and Christians vote for the “lesser of the evils.” “It’s only politics” (Is that John Dewey I hear?) as they try to convince us that lying is no longer a big deal. Let me ask you something.

See if you can get “Expelled”

There is a true movie out by Ben Stein called “Expelled” that every Christian needs to support and see. It does not even matter if you already believe in intelligent design. We need to support movies that proclaim truth and allow for the free exchange of ideas in our educational institutions. Christians also need to become fully aware of just how far the public educational system has moved toward a closed minded bully system run by secular humanist control freaks rooted in Darwinian Fascism.

Only a fool says there is no God

Ben Stein starts out talking about the fact that the United States was built on freedom.

The pulpits are silent except when pulpit puppets preach the national feel good gospel.

Coach Dave Daubenmire spells out the problem and most of the pulpits will remain silent. We could also insert the word Christians in place of pulpits.

Dave Daubenmire — …and the Pulpits Are Silent

Public schools are destroying the faith of Christian children and the pulpits are silent.
Legislation is introduced to remove the rights of parents and the pulpits are silent.
Children are taught they came from apes and the pulpits are silent.
Millions of children are “medicated” to control their behavior and the pulpits are silent.
Gambling is promoted to pay for schools and the pulpit is silent.
Precious babies are being murdered in the womb and the pulpits are silent.

Is there a New Apostolic Reformation or an old deception?

I came across this excellent article today about “The Roots and Fruits of the New Apostolic Reformation”, by Bob De Waay. It is about how the Latter Rain movement morphed into the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).

Christians need to know the truth about these self appointed anointed and other Christians need to separate from these leaders bringing them into Apostasy.

One thing I have found out for myself over the years is that when certain leaders claim Apostolic positions and special prophetic anointing from God they are always lying.

Pastor attempts to stop the slaughter of Blacks

Here is  one voice of reason doing some good work in the black community but notice that he is also opposed by people with Reverend in their title.

Hoye has bigger plans, hoping to eventually open chapters of Issues4Life across the country as a way to create a “one-stop shopping place” where black leaders, particularly pastors, will be able to get the information they need to teach others about the problem.

“We want to create opportunities to dialogue on issues concerning life, and abortion is the leading cause of death in the African American community,” Hoye said. “It is a moral issue as far as the church is concerned, and we want to strengthen the African American leadership.

Accommodation or Confrontation with the world system?

Dr Francis Schaeffer in 1984 said, “The grossest form of worldliness is conforming to the form of worldliness that exists in it’s own generation”. That is exactly what is happening today in much of Christianity.

Accommodation or Confrontation – CWN: ” recently watched a video presentation of Dr. Francis Schaeffer’s last public meeting before he died in 1984. I was stunned, again, by the precision of his insights into his era, and ours. Dr. Schaeffer’s last two books, The Great Evangelical Disaster and A Christian Manifesto, were nothing short of prophetic. As he approached his death, after fifty years of his ministry, he observed that evangelicalism over that time could be summarized primarily by one term: Accommodation.

Dutch lawmaker planning film criticizing the Quran

I admire his courage. I also hope his life insurance is paid up. I also wonder who will have the courage to run his film. I guess he will have to upload it to the Internet but I doubt if anyone will have the courage to allow it on their Internet site. I wonder if the dutch will confiscate the film anyway before it is even released. I hope he has some copies hid somewhere.

If it ever is shown I expect the reaction from the Islamofascists will be about what we would expect…burning, looting, riots, world demonstrations etc.

Dutch lawmaker planning film criticizing the Quran – International Herald Tribune: “THE HAGUE, Netherlands: A Dutch conservative lawmaker said Wednesday he is making a film to highlight what he describes as ‘fascist’ passages in the Quran, his latest high profile criticism of Islam.

State Department foreign policies of women in delusion

This article points out some of the delusion that has been coming out of our State Department. I have to admit that most of the foreign policy “experts” have a very unique world view. They do not see the world as it exists. They see a delusional world of what should be, because apparently in their world everyone is trustworthy and no one is evil. The State Department has been operating under the delusions of silly old women, or men who act like women for quite a while now. Caroline Glick is  one of the voices of reason in this delusional world.continue reading
