Bob Mitchell of Shofar Ministries has brought up some very good points regarding these things. As King Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun. Looks like the goddess Ashtoreth that Solomon went after (1Kings 11) is this same Queen of Heaven that the Pope bows and prays to.
