U.N. Responsibility to Protect action in Libya opens door to Armageddon

After listening to Obama about the reason the Western powers moved against Gaddafi one might actually think that they really care about the people around the world that are being killed by tyrants. The same people pushing Obama’s foreign policy buttons are the ones that got “Responsibility to Protect” (R2P) resolutions passed in the U.N. and other world governance resolutions. These are most often the same people whose names are found on elitist membership lists.

These people want us to believe that they are so concerned about a few  thousand people being killed in the civil war going on in Libya that they want military action, but we see that they could care less about allowing a North Korean tyrant much worse than Gaddafi to stay in power. Their inaction made certain that millions would starve to death in North Korea. Once again hundreds of thousands more will starve to death this year but they are concerned with Libya?  These elitists are full of hypocrisy. Their world actions or inactions are all about appearances and about paving the way toward world government. They are not going to do anything that might actually cost them financial or political capital. They know it is not going to help the cause of world government when their world policemen are shipped home in body bags. So they will attack a weak nation by air so the risk to themselves is minimal. They did the same thing against the Serbs.

That is why they do nothing about the tyrants running North Korea, China, Iran, Syria etc. but a Gaddafi in Libya cannot be tolerated. They have some delusion that a nation of warring tribes can be forced to comply with world socialist idealism. Those with this same delusional thinking are making the same errors in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. There will only be the sham of democracy in these places until the main world policeman removes its armed forces.

I have to wonder if the real reason for military action in Libya was that the agents sent in by the leftist West to foster this rebellion were in danger of being massacred or exposed. After all, the overthrow of Mubarak in Egypt started when Soros and Obama agitators organized it using the Internet.

Everything is not as you are being led to believe in North Africa and the Middle East. They want us to believe that there is a pro democracy movement all over the Arab world and that it all happening spontaneously by freedom loving people – so we need to support it. The whole premise is a lie. There never was any real democracy in the Arab world and there cannot be any true democracy in the near future because if the Arab’s ever got a democratic vote they would just vote in their favorite warlord or religious leader and he would become tyrannical. The Left is so delusional that they think Islamic people will choose socialist world government after they throw off their secular tyrants.

Instead of any real move toward democracy in the Middle East, we are already seeing that the Islamists are taking advantage of the situation in Egypt and elsewhere. The Muslim agitators are now using freedom slogans for deception to bring down the Middle East world order that was established by the West after World War I. They intend to replace it with a new Islamic caliphate. If they should ever accomplish their goals, their hatred toward the West and Israel will result in a world war, not a Marxist socialist paradise with a world without borders.

Obama and the world leaders enforcing the “Responsibility to Protect” U.N. resolution first told us that the military action in Libya was to establish a no fly zone so that Gaddafi could not use his air force against civilians. However, NATO forces have gone beyond just enforcing a no fly zone they are now trying to destroy Gaddafi loyalists using air strikes. It is now clear that NATO forces have taken sides with the rebels against Gaddafi and his loyalists. Control of the rebels is already being taken over by Islamists. If the rebels start winning, Gaddafi loyalist civilians will certainly be massacred. So they trade a possible massacre of some that rebelled and took up arms against Gaddafi for a sure massacre of civilians if the rebels take over the tribal regions that support Gaddafi. You do not protect civilians by taking sides in a civil war. Once the rebels took up arms and formed an army to fight Gaddafi they are no longer civilians anyway.

I find the term “innocent civilians” in a civil war to be a ridiculous term and it is self-serving to those that like to use such propaganda to get people to support their own positions. Who were the innocent civilians in our own civil war? If I recall all able-bodied men were forced to fight for one side or the other.

There are a number of issues going on but Obama is not going to tell you that. He will just talk about protecting civilians when our real goal is to support the rebellions. As this rebellion succeeds their hope is that other Arab leaders will fall and democracy will be established in its place. Even so, democracy is not really the end goal either, because even a simpleton knows that any democratic vote in the Middle East will result in the Islamists taking control.

Democracy to people like George Saros and others promoting one world government is to have local governments that are first subservient to elitist controlled global government and second to be subservient to the will of the local majority. Marxists are humanistic idealists. They do not live in a world of reality. Democracy in Islamic nations will always bring Sharia Law with clerical oversight that will enslave the people. They might participate in a world government but they will only use it toward their own ends and that end is a world submitted to Sharia Law and Allah.

I think Libya to the socialist world elite is a pilot project or prototype for future U.N. action. If they are successful, it will establish a blueprint for governing the world. They are using the “Responsibility to Protect” resolution of the U.N. to carry out a pilot project on a small nation where they think the risk of failure is minimal. If it works out like they think, then it will establish precedence for the U.N. to police the world and enforce anything the elitists want in any nation through the R2P doctrine. There are scores of examples in the world where the R2P resolution could be invoked but there is one place where it is certain to occur. R2P doctrine will eventually lead to U.N. action against Israel. The next time Israel invades or bombs Gaza or Lebanon, if the U.S. does not veto, or is not able to veto, the R2P resolution will be invoked against  Israel .

Even though any sovereign ruling government would oppose the U.N. the whole premise under R2P is that the ruling administration has lost the privilege to govern their own nation so they will be removed by the collective international world body. R2P recognizes that, while sovereign states are independently in charge of their own citizens, should they fail to protect their citizens from mass killings, either intentionally or through their inability to act, it is the internationally community’s responsibility to protect the citizens being affected. In other words, the U.N. Security Council will decide if they need to protect citizens in any nation.

The “Responsibility to Protect” resolution is in place and the Security Council is in place all the U.N. really needs is a world police force to enforce its resolutions. We see the start of the enforcement end of this being played out right now in Libya.

Obviously, they can not use this resolution against powerful nations right now. They will first use it against weak nations like Libya and then work their way up. Getting NATO to become a world policemen is probably a first prime objective. Then after a number of these ongoing police actions take place and are ongoing, armed forces would not be taking orders from their sovereign nations anymore. Military leaders would be taking orders from whatever coalition is enforcing the R2P enforcements of the U.N. In time, military leaders would start to fear not enforcing international decrees even over the orders of their own nation. They would fear being tried in international courts for war crimes. Once military leaders of once sovereign nations fear being tried in international courts U.N. control over most of the earth will be complete.

That leads to the question of who actually controls the world? The U.N. Security Council runs the world. It has 15 members, five are permanent members: Russia, China, Great Britain, France and the United States. Any one of these five permanent members can now veto a Security Council resolution. If they do not veto, it only take 9 of 15 votes to pass a resolution. It’s kind of interesting that Russia and China are against this Libya R2P military action but they did not veto the R2P resolution. Obviously they believed seeing that the R2P precedence was used was more important than the consequence to Libya. Now they see that NATO has used R2P for a much wider military action against Gaddafi than they were led to believe. But, even NATO is sticking to the letter of the resolution the way they interpret it. That is why they will not remove Gaddafi but they have no problem taking out his military.

In the future, it has been suggested and is very likely to become the case, that the Security Council rules will be changed so that no single nation will be able to veto a resolution. That will be the beginning of the end of national sovereignty in even powerful nations. Keep in mind that 1/3 of the votes in the U.N. are Muslim nations, then and add the socialists and a few third world nations and you already have a majority. Most of the world is already anti America and almost all of the world is anti Israel, so you should see where this is all going to lead. The U.N. could even take action against the U.S. if some future administration used force to protect its borders with Mexico.

Meanwhile, expect more and more use of the R2P doctrine.  In this police action against Libya it was not necessary to get the military of many nations involved to carry out the U.N. mandate. I also don’t think that NATO will be the only world policeman either. Whenever a R2P ruling comes down from the U.N. any group of nation could become the police force for the U.N.

So let’s go back to the Islamic caliphate premise. Inevitably Israel will be forced to take action against the terrorist groups (civilians) that surround them. If Israel does not withdraw or cease action when told, the R2P doctrine would come into play in the Security Council. Historically, the only veto assured would be the U.S. but that might no longer be the case under this administration and it certainly won’t be the case if the Security Council veto is taken away. So who is likely to take the military action against Israel under R2P? You got it. Anyone that hates Israel and that has the weapons to enforce it. That might be the reason for the war of Psalm 83, it might also be the reason for the Ezekiel 38 Gog war, and it might even be the basis for the war of Armageddon. First, a local Arab caliphate comes against Israel and they are defeated, then later, a larger group of nations led by Gog comes against Israel and they are defeated, and finally the whole world comes against Israel and they are defeated.

It is interesting to know from Bible prophecy that Iran and Libya do not come against Israel in the first war against Israel, but they do in the second war. Perhaps that is because when the first war takes place there still will be ongoing R2P actions in their own nations, so they cannot be an enforcer of any “Responsibility to Protect” action against Israel in the soon coming war of Psalm 83.

Here is a good follow-up article on R2P – Obama’s Libya doctrine, R2P and the powers behind it.

  1. Interesting, but I do not think they have enough water trucks. Besides, Jordan will feel threatened by millions of marchers so they will not even allow it. Of course, that does not mean that some might not show up on May 15th from the local area but it won’t be anything that Israel can’t handle.

In any case, Israel will soon become their enemies worse nightmare.

  2. Right on Don, your thoughts on the UN R2P lead to the same conclusions I see when looking at bible prophecy. It is amazing how deceitful, manipulative and evil the use of “nice words” like protect, democracy, innocent civilians, etc. can be. The sad fact is that there aren’t that many who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Satan is a liar and the father of lies. He is masterful at it. Deception is at an all time high. Yet, he is only a pawn in the Father’s plans and has no authority other than what is permitted him. I pity the coalition of nations that attack the apple of God’s eye.

  3. Israel will soon become their enemies worse nightmare.

    Don
Do I catch a hint of excited anticipation in your words?
I admit to such an emotion, for I get quite angry at the ‘blind hatred that is driving Islam and the world’s contemptible disregard for Israel’s right to exist.
If we are to go through the Psalm 83 war, or even Ezekiel 38-39 it will be with a certain relish as we see God justifying his word and his people. Am I being un-Christian, I am sure there are some who will thinks so.
If the Church is not to go through either of these wars then I think we can look with increasing anticipation to that other great event.

  4. Brain,

What amazes me is that even most of those calling themselves Christians in the West cannot even see that Israel being back in the land and being surrounded by enemies is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. They have blinded themselves with allegory and the love of the things of this world.

They cannot even look at evil and call it evil. The church in the West has become pathetic.

  5. To me this whole Egypt-Libya scenario is as much surprising as puzzeling. I thought the neo-cons were still in control behind the scenes not to mention the pro-Israel press. I know this doesn’t fit your end-time game plan, Don, but it seems like God just hit the fast-forward button. Or is this simply an expansion of the American-Israeli Empire? Trouble is, Quadafi had become a good boy since his Scottish adventure and the Egyptian prez was a team player. It could also be more American fumbling and bumbling. Dolph

  6. There is no American-Israeli Empire nor is there a mainstream pro Israeli press, that is all a delusion of your own anti American antisemitic mind.

I don’t see a fast forward button at all. I have been wondering why Pslam 83 is being continually put off. But that action against Israel is not the end it is just the start of the generation that will not pass away until all is fulfilled. Gog of Ezekiel 38 is not about to come down without a capable army or without Israel living in prosperity and in security. Even then we probably have not arrived to the last week of years. So everything is still on schedule for the 2030’s Antichrist.

Keep in mind that I believe the inevitable Western clash against Islam is a counterfeit tribulation that comes about through satanically inspired wars. The judgments of God within those years will not even have begun yet but many people will think that they already went through Armageddon and will be looking for a savior figure and saying peace and safety.

  7. Don, I just read your essay above (I missed it going straight to someone’s comment) and I think your R2P idea makes alot of sence but why set the Middle East on fire? They can’t beleive this will lead to the blossoming of democracy? Actually, these elitists know to never let a disaster/opportunity go to waste. Remember the Russian revolution? These people really are crazy starting war after war. This is how WWI started which led to WWII. Franz Joseph meant to slap Serbia’s wrist which started an unstopable chain reaction. It wouldn’t take much to start a major war here, they’re playing with matches. They say Weicher and McCain hounded Obama to help the rebels in Libya but why would Israel want to distable the area? It’s all insane from a purely American point of view. Sinister forces are definatley at work here and that usually means the elitists and the New World Order as you suggested. Dolph

  8. Don, I hope you wouldn’t call someone who fought in Vietnam and is married to a converted Jewish lady anti-American and anti-semetic. Didn’t Jesus say something about judging people? I guess I should apologize for holding an opinion different than yours. I thought you had some smarts until you said the media wasn’t pro-Israel. Name one Christian of any importance in media ownership/management. Don, try to cotroll that temper and God bless you. Dolph

  9. Why read a comment on the post before you read the post? No wonder you get off topic on my posts.

Well, as you know, mankind has not progressed any, and mankind’s evil will bring the third world war just like it did the others. Even so, what is happening in the Middle East is all leading to God making himself known to the nations through Israel and God becoming known again to Israel by His divine intervention to save a remnant of Israel.

Israel did not have anything to do with the action in Libya. You seem to think if someone has a Jewish name in America that they are agents of Israel. The State of Israel knows this will lead to war but they feel they have no choice but to play the game. They can’t tell this American administration anything. This administration believes in the goodness of man. They see no evil even in Islam. They think people just need a little guidance from the more spiritually evolved people such as themselves.

  10. dolph,

I really have no way of knowing anything about your private life. It’s your own words that make you sound anti American and anti semantic – and yeah, I can judge your words. That is why I have to keep monitoring your words because what comes out of your mouth shows a deep hatred toward Israel and a hated toward America, even if you did fight in Vietnam. So did I. That proves nothing.

You justify your anti semantic remarks by saying that there is a true Israel and a false Israel but then you make all Jews in the media and government false Israel. The Bible does not teach what you claim about Israel. The Bible teaches that all Israel that have not come to Christ are dead in their sins until the time that they accept Him. You distorted what Paul said in one comment. When Paul was talking about not all being true Israel, Paul was talking about the Israelites that accepted their Messiah and the Israelites that rejected their Messiah. Paul was not saying that within the people that rejected their Messiah there were a people called true Israel. Paul even said he would give his own soul to save his countrymen so obviously Paul believed that all in Israel that did not find salvation through the Messiah were lost.

There is not two nations within Israel – one dead and one alive. When you attack some Jews as being demonic Christ killers that are more evil than the rest of the Jews and the rest of the fallen world you are very much anti semantic whether you want to admit it or not. That is the rhetoric you might expect from a skinhead or mid-evil Roman Church. Now if you say some claiming to be Jews that are in high places are really Edomites you would be correct.

What I said had nothing to do with any temper issue of mine. It was simply a statement based on what you have been implying here for quite some time. You say name one Christian of any importance in media ownership/management? I cannot judge who is or is not a Christian in media. What in the world does that have to do with you labeling the whole mainstream liberal press a bunch of Jews that are pro Israel? In reality the mainstream media proves to be anything but pro Israel.

There is something fundamentally wrong in your thinking. You say many things that appear Christian but then on one comment you promoted a heretic and when you are corrected you promote another book by the same heretic in rude sarcasm. I really don’t think your comments will have a place on this blog anymore. If you think all Jews in high places are agents of evil you really have no place here.

  11. Dolph

I think both Don and I find it strange that you consider the press to be pro Israel. Being an Ausie I don’t access United Statesian media so maybe I’m missing something.
Here and in Europe there are a very few who support Israel and most articles I hear or read are pro Palestinian; the recent glossing over of the massacre of a Jewish family is a case in point.

  12. I thought I paid you a nice compiment on your essay on R2P and it wasn’t very nice of you to call a person anti semetic when they actually love the Jews. Some of my best friends are Jews, so, I would say lighten up. Is it so hard to believe that the chasening that God gave the Jews after the crucifiction will continue during Jacob’s Trouble, Daniel’s 70th Week? Or, that the first 3 presidents of the USSR, Kerensky, Trotsky and Lenin were Jewish amd this will lead to a Jewish anti-christ? This is solid, pure, logic and you will see some day it’s the truth. Your old pal, Dolph

  13. Brian, If the press was 99% Irish would you expect fair, un-biased reporting on the IRA? We only get one side of the story here when it comes to the Middle East. By hook or crook, I’m glad the Jews are back in Israel. Alot of irony here. Dolph P.S Let me know how Building #7 collapsed at 5pm at the World Trade Center on 9-11.

  14. Dolph,

Read my commenting policy, read the posts and stay on topic, quit the conspiracy theories about a “Jewish American Empire”, start addressing the criticisms about things you said instead of just making more statements and I might let you continue to comment here. If you can’t do that go elsewhere.

Any this is to the Donna that did not get posted and all like her. If anyone needs to ask me if I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit they will not be commenting on this Blog. I find you people to be insulting to both me and the Holy Spirit that indwells in all his people, not just the ones that speak in tongues and get their emotional experience mixed up with biblical truth.

  15. I only let this one in because it answered Brian, but you see what I mean about dolph and his Conspiracy Theories? As I said in my commenting policy, those spouting 9/11 type conspiracy theories or Jews running the world leading people into antisemitism will not be allowed on my blog. It is all a lie out of the pit of hell and it is anti American. If you want to believe this crap go where the mentally deranged love this stuff. I suggest you hang out with Alex Jones.

  16. R2P: Soros, Ashrawi, PLO, Hamas, Tutu, Powers, Obama. Talk about your “axis of evil”.

Watching this play out, none of the aforementioned have any interest in the people of Libya what so ever.

Frankly, all I see is chaos and hatred being played out.

And yet, where’s the word “extreme” ??? Oh, that’s the tea party. Please. Biden and Schumer are pure idiots (well, the sleazebags that voted for these sleazebags are self defeatist idiots).

Yes, maybe a little pre-jubilation of prophetic Israel helps the soul.

  17. Don, this blog is just great, comments sometimes are even more interesting than the articles themselves, and your book is interesting and I have been even thinking of translating it to other languages. Please, don’t engage yourself with dates. Like 2030 for example.

  18. Don I agree with much of what’s in your article; however you simply cannot equate action being taken in Libya versus taking action against… “tyrants running North Korea, China, Iran, Syria etc” Don the consequences for acting on tyrants in those exampled nations are MUCH MUCH GREATER. Maybe if you used the Sudan as an example that would have been better. I do agree that its not out of compassion for the oppressed population that they took action. On a related front I find it insulting to one’s intelligence that the press attempts to pass these anti-government rebellions across much of the muslim world to have arisen and been sparked, solely from a man who’s cart was confiscated, and who afterwards protested by setting himself ablaze. What’s you take on this?

  19. Al,

What you say is correct, the UN selectively acts against only weak nations. That is why I say the use of the R2P resolution is just a UN pilot project prototype establishing precedence for possible future world police actions. Now any group of nations that can get a R2P resolution through the UN Security Council can use R2P to start a war against even more powerful nations and that will lead to greater consequences to the world.

The mainstream press obviously tells people what their owners want them to say. I think this whole thing was coordinated and started by Soros disciples and the Islamists see it as an opportunity toward there own end.

  20. As usual, I have read your comments and I do not understand everything you are saying. Shucks, I have to navigate the highways and byways to keep the household stocked with toilet tissue and beverages too. All at a good price and never times two. This whole thing with Libya is a huge mess. It seems as if there are all kinds of gaps in the story being told by the media. It lacks some common sense. What a huge mess over there. Growing up, I was raised in a Christian home, Christian community and went to Christian school. My roots are very solid. Don, I do believe that you have the infilling of the Holy Spirit. I have the spirit of Christ in me. This means that I want people to not be devisive because Jesus does not stir up strife. Seeking after things of the spirit led me on a journey to understand things about the Holy Spirit. I am able to pray in tongues very fluidly.
But Love comes before everything. Gods word is before any expressions of the Holy Spirit. I have seen many types of expression of the infilling of the Holy Spirit and I hate fake. God hates fake. But the real thing is very wonderful.

  21. You right Don. R2P action on weaker nations is a test Balloon.
Don is Libya the first time R2P has been implemented… to any degree?

Soros’s is a disgusting megalomaniac! How he betrayed innocent folks and even friend’s during WW2 to save his arse and to advance himself personally proves a nefarious heart and a lightless soul. Every time he speaks publicly on his ideal philosophies that will bring about universal justice and – the always delusional sought after – utopian world order via the governance of man is down right Nimrodian. (BTW – I made that word up) I get the sense he just wants to jump up and scream I AM YOUR Demi-god, obey me or else! . Yet he too is just a puppet of the Puppet Master.

One final side note – I was wondering if you have (or will do) a piece on the fallacy of “unconditional love” As for me I am fully satisfied that the Lord Jesus died for my sin condition in order to bring me into a perfect condition that makes me presentable before God almighty.

He strived with me and urged me to recognize my fallen dark state, that without Him in my life and whole being I was dead and doomed. I Repented (a condition I think)
It’s sad that repentance and sole belief in Jesus as the only begotten of God (including what “belief” fully means) is not spoken of much (if at all) from the pulpits.

I left a church that taught unconditional love. This belief would logically saturate and transcend all other principal scripture teachings. The Pastors and elders could not prove it scripturally or logically (apart from using John 3:16 …and out of context) yet they accepted it. FUNNY THING is… that after I left the Church, I told all my friends there that I had no issue continuing being there friend and fellowshipping together… …after a short while THEY stopped calling. I’d invite them a couple of time is in a row, but would never hear back from THEM. I guess unconditional love for them has certain conditions attached to it.

My journey (like yourself) took me through Catholicism (born into it… and until I was in my 30’s) also was a Baptist and looked into some other reformed denominations including Calvin. I am now a non-denominational Christian and submit solely to scripture and the Holy Sprit for instruction and discernment. I though to myself “hey it might be a good idea to have a relationship with my Saviour and God… Jesus; whole and un-denominated! It is so refreshing to not be tied up to Institutional dogma, unscriptural traditions and stringent and sometimes distorted interpretations of other human beings who have never shown themselves Prophets of God. Never passed the test of a Prophet.

Anyway I better stop here, I’ve gotten off topic.

These are strange days indeed! Hard for me to reconcile myself with the darkness that is upon this world and the fact that it ( fallen world and coming tribulation) is what we are awaiting as the signs that we will soon be raptured and we will be with our Lord.

    Al

  22. Al,

I think this is first time that R2P has been officially used but this certainly is not the first time that the UN got involved in a civil war. Bosnia comes to mind just off the top of my head.

I really can’t tell you what my next post will be about because I usually do not have a clue until the day that I write them. You brought up several points of theology but to address them here would take this post totally off topic. I think a lot is in the definitions. What unconditional love means to one person might not be the way another Christian views it.

    1rosebud,

I deleted your one post because it had nothing at all to do with the topic. I wish people would keep their theology out of these posts unless the post is about that. Many people that read these posts do not agree on Christian theology and to make a statement about your own just gets the post off topic.

    Everyone,

I will be deleting or editing more posts that get off topic, I hope people that get deleted do not take it personally. I do not want this blog to become like so many others blogs that I have visited where the comments start off good and than digresses to anything on your mind.

The only other three alternatives is to moderate all comments and only post the ones that I think are reverent to the topic or to allow everyone to post anything they want on every post or to close the comment section completely.

The first option is time intensive for me and delays your comments and gets some people upset when they do not get posted. The second option makes for a comment section that few will read and also is a waste of bandwidth. Also, trolls will soon lurk and attack and offend or try to use the comments as their soapbox. And the last option obviously does not allow any views on this blog but mine.

So hopefully I will not need to take any one of those routes but I get more doubtful everyday. Like I said before half the first time commentators even now never get posted for good reason.

  23. Don,

I would like to comment on the issues of Jewish conspiracy, I know its against the rules, but this is my take. Please give it a chance and give me your opinion. I firmly believe that Israelites are God’s chosen people and he will deal with them on his own and when he chooses.

I think the biggest issue with regards to the Jewish conspiracy debate center on the fact that many Jews or Edomites are in very powerful positions around the world(and happen to be helping construct the one world government, the nation of Israel is clearly not involved in this). The many in question are simply the result of sinful man attempting to control his own fate. It really has little to do with their Jewish heritage, other than the effects of their history, holocaust and other atrocities against Jews, that have plagued Jews both before and after their rejection of their Messiah. The reason these individuals so desperately seek power and the creation of a one-world government is for protection in the future against events of this kind. Lack of faith in God inspires all men, Jewish or not, to control their own fate and assume responsibility for their own protection and prosperity. Its really less of a conspiracy and more a realistic response from sinful man to his history and how he desires to shape the world in his image, not God’s. Just my opinion.

  24. Jeremy, if you knew the rest of the story then maybe you would understand how Hitler got so much traction in Germany. The German people wer raped by the Allies with the Treaty of Versilles which unfairly blamed the Germans for starting the war which all amature historians know is not true. The Brits, French and Russians felt very threatened by the great economic success of the Germans after Bismark united them and welcomed an excuse to gang up on her. The Germans hadn’t lost one sq. ft. of territory by 1917 when the “Bankers” made a deal with England to bring the USA into the war. This deal was called the Balfour Amendment by the Allies and called a stab in the back by the Germans. The Jews were treated better in Germany during the 19th century than by any other country and had therfore flocked to Germany from Russia, Poland and other countries. I’m glad the Jews are back in Israel but they didn’t get there by praying to Jesus. Sure, call me anti-semetic (which I’m not) but those are the irrefutable facts. Dolph P.S. The Jews declared a boycott on all German imports around the world in 1933, but you won’t read about this in the NY Times.

  25. Fair enough, you had your say, but no other comments will be posted or remain if they are on the Jews and Germany. This post is about Libya and R2P.

  26. This might be the first use of R2P to justify intervention, but Iraq and Afganistan were their first two experimental playgrounds. Read their constitutions.
