  1. I would enjoy getting your reaction to “Pretrib Rapture Diehards” which I read on Google. Thank you very much. Lou

  2. Hi Lou,

    I am one of those diehards. I wrote an article on my website on the many proofs for for a pretrib rapture it can be found at

    http://www.thepropheticyears.com/reasons/rapture.htm

    I basically look at the rapture as a reward for the faithful. Even though that position is someone unorthodox among us pretrib rapture believers.

    My view is that those in the Church that are truly born of the Spirit and ready when Jesus comes as a thief will go in the rapture.

    Those in the Church who are actively grieving the Holy Spirit will lose this reward.

    Those who identify with the church but are not ready because they have no oil in their lamps because they never received the Holy Spirit will not go.

    All not taken in the rapture will go through most of the tribulation or be killed.

    Just as the faithful in Israel will be protected during the great tribulation in the mountains and the unfaithful Jews will be killed.

    So us pretrib diehards are correct and so are those who think Christians will go through the tribulation.

    The problem in each camp is when they are so certain that everyone in the church will go or that everyone will not go.

    For the rapture believers they need to understand the church is not completed until after the persecution of the tribulation.

    For those who think that the church will go through the tribulation they need to see that scripture does teach this blessed hope for those who can be identified with Philadelphia and the over comers.

    These will be kept out of the great trial that is coming to test all in the world.

  3. I took a quick look at the “die hard” article. He first “poisons the well” by accusing pre-tib authors of sloppiness and dishonesty. I’d be most interested in seeing official rebuttals from Ice and Lindsay. I’d venture to say they’d chew this guy up and spit him out.

    Then he ignores the real reason any of us believe in the pre-trib rapture: the Bible teaches it. Forget all the “he said she said”, the bottom line is what God said, and I clearly see pre-trib rapture in it.

  4. Hi Teknomon

    I think Lindsay and Ice have better things to do then argue with someone on my Blog.

    I give plenty of good arguments for a pretribulation rapture in my own article and it has links to much more information.

    You must be reading some other discussion that I am not because he said nothing on this Blog that accuses pre-trib authors of sloppiness and dishonesty.

    He asked me a legitimate question and I gave him my view.

  5. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was referring to the guy who wrote the blog “anonymous” referred to, not anything on this blog. I just typed “pretrib rapture diehards” into google and clicked on the first link.

  6. == Risen Christ is Antichrist ==

    The Risen Chirst is the Antichirst, the first beast that had the fatal wound that had been healed.

    Paul of Tarsus was his false prophet, the second beast who was servent to the first beast and extended its authority everywhere, making the world and all its people worship the first beast.

    If you don’t believe me, read the Bible and no! you will not die if you eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods.

    ~~~~John~~~~
    I was wondering how long it would take for the first certified nut case to show up on my Blog.
    The Bible does not support anything you said. So I don’t know what you mean read the Bible–as if you find some truth in the Bible that true believers miss because they would not read the Bible?!
    It is pretty arrogant and absurd to tell people to read the Bible when it is obvious that you have never read the Bible or at least understood the concepts within yourself.
    The descendents from Adam and Eve that ate from the forbidden tree that gave the human race the ability to know good and evil, choose evil. The proof is they die in their sins and will continue to die in their sins until they choose good (Jesus).
    If you do not believe that they died visit your local cemetery, or if you stay on your present path you will certainly find out when you inherit your eternal promised Lake.
    Now, you might go back to being a troll on the forums or post something worthwhile or I will delete any further nonsense that you post on this Blog
    Hi Don,
    While I really respect what you have to say, (not that I am in agreement with everything) I find you very humorous in your comments.
    But just because you make me laugh at what you say to people who are obviously off track, I would like to encourage you to have patience with them as much as you are able. You are very knowledgeable, and that knowledge combined with love can be a great force for Jesus. After all is that not what we are to do?
    1 Peter 3:9 (King James Version)
    9Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
    1 Peter 3:9 (Young’s Literal Translation)
    9not giving back evil for evil, or railing for railing, and on the contrary, blessing, having known that to this ye were called, that a blessing ye may inherit;
    I think that you would have an awesome ministry here, and I realize that you probably deal with many people who come against you. but again,
    1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
    But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
    1 Peter 3:15 (King James Version)
    15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
    I guess I am looking to work out my salvation with fear and trembling. I find that most people in my christian community are not really seeking God as they are of the attitude that they are “saved” and that is that.
    I am not so sure and I want to be all I can for Jesus, so I look at myself intently to see what the Lord is trying to say to me about me being hypocritical in my own life, so that I can repent and that I could run the race to win.
    I fear God. I want to know the truth. The Lords says:
    1 Peter 4:18 NIV
    And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
    1 Peter 4:18 (King James Version)
    18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
    So I work out my salvation with fear and trembling because the Lord says if it’s scarcely that we be saved, …………woa………that’s me…………..
    So I encourage you to argue and debate with Love, as I am looking for someone to be able to do this with, I am hoping that your blog may be a place for me to gain good Christian fellowship and talk with. But I cannot do it with out love, gentleness and respect.
    That said, I almost wait for a rebuke from you……………..
    Grace be with you!
    DonW
  9. DonW,
    Your not going to like this but you really did ask for it.
    First of all, if you are going to post on my blog in the future try to stay on the tread topic instead of telling me what to do.
    I do not need a lecture from you about how I should answer comments posted on my blog. The purpose of this blog is to teach about World and Church trends and Bible prophecy and to be a watchman on the wall. It is not a place for the demented of the world to post their hate speech against Christianity and to try to disrupt a thread. You obviously never had a blog and you do not know what would happen if I allowed these people free reign.
    What I do is primarily a watchman ministry. Those seeking God will find the truth about Christ and Bible prophecy on these posts. So the site does evangelize but if I allow each thread to be twisted to become a debate on Christianity versus the views of unbelievers or a endless argument that cannot be resolved no one will come here at all. Believe me, those who major in evangelizing on blogs would just delete comments like the one found on this post that attacks Christianity.
    I allowed this demonic post for my own purpose which was to display that I will not put up with demonic troll behavior on this blog. I have been at this many years and think I have pretty good judgment in these things. I also think I know the difference from a genuine seeker of truth and a demonically led troll who came here to attack Christianity. You seem to be suggesting that I try to evangelize the demonic on each post instead of keeping the thread on topic? I also know before long if someone came here to start an endless argument. Some of both types are no longer allowed to post on my blog.
    This Blog is for those seeking to learn about world and Church current events and Bible prophecy and for those who wish to express constructive input. It is not for those trolls who come on blogs in order to attack and disrupt.
    You say you hope for debate here but debate is not what this site is about. This is not a debate site or a chat site where one can chatter about anything on your mind. If you want to post here it should be on the topic that I posted. Remember allowing your comments to appear on my blog and to use space on the Internet server that I pay for is a courtesy. It is not a right (I do make some exceptions but for my own reasons since it is my blog).
    You quote scripture for me as If you think I do not know them. I assure you I am well aware of what is in the Bible. The problem seems to be that you do not understand why some of my replies are appropriate replies regardless of the scriptures that you quoted. For example, you quote “be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”.
    Was the person that I called John really asking me for any answers? That troll was just here mocking Christian belief. Should I turn every thread into sweet talk with demonic trolls who spend their existence disrupting Christian blogs? Who then would come here for information and what good would come of it?
    It is easy for you to criticize my comments without regard to why I said them. Why don’t you also praise me for the thousands of good points that I made on my blogs and the thousands of hours of my time that I spent writing them.
    Then you say, I COULD have an awesome ministry here if I would just listen to you. Who made you the judge of the effectiveness of my Internet ministry?
    I really can’t get my head around some Christians who think Christians are supposed to be passive victims and doormats for the demonic and unstable of the world. From what you said to me elsewhere I know you listen to Alex Jones. Seems that you can take his conspiracy hate spiel in stride but then think you really possess the discernment to criticize the spirit of my comments?
    By the way, scripture also says for us not to cast our pearls before swine and sometimes I take that scripture very literally when people come here just to snort hate against Christianity, or promote doctrines of demons, or just to try to trample a Christian post.
