I thought you would like this article. Not because I think Obama is the Antichrist, but because we all need to observe how some people with too much time on their hands think. I get emails from these types all too often. By some mathematical wizardry they have all the answers to the mysteries that have eluded the Church. Never mind, that in this scheme that the modern English language was not even in existence when Revelation was written and there is no clear rational for the numbering scheme Tng uses for English. Also, what English language version of the Bible was the totally perfect translation that had these four 666 passages adding up and to a multiple of 743 that when divided into the passage = 666?
The rest you will have to read yourself. Which just goes to prove if certain people have enough time on their hands they can even make me become the Antichrist 
or even make Jesus come back anytime they say. The Jehovah Witnesses did that, they dated Jesus to come back visibly in 1874 and then 1914 and when He did not show up on their schedule they just made His coming invisible. It is amazing the wispy things that people will dream up.
Take note of the comments attached to the article as well, they are pretty good reading but also notice how some will fall for anything. Any wonder why some Bible prophecy teachers and most of our present politicians have a following?

I sensed that some doves feel we should look for Jesus, not the son of perdition. But we are looking for Jesus alright when we try to count the name of the antichrist (something not prohibited in Scripture; in fact, the Apostle John teased us with these words, “Let him that hath understanding count the number ….”). The arrival of the antichrist should EXCITE us no end because it means Jesus is AT THE DOOR!
Evidence #1
So many things about Obama is marked with the number 666 it is just breathtaking! But we need first to clear the stumbling block that plagued us up until now. Traditionally we resort to the Hebrew and Greek gematria to work out the identity of Mr. 666. Well, it turns out the right gematria to use is English! If you think about it, this is logical because of who the antichrist is. With names like Hussein, Barry, Soetoro and Obama, are we sure we are able to come up with their equivalents in Hebrew and Greek, with no wriggling room for error?
Once you get past this mental block, and begin to apply the English gematria to Obama, the number 666 just pops like popcorn! The abundance of 666 is proof positive that we have found the man. The remarkable thing about these 666 occurrences is that THEY ARE BIBLICAL! The Author of the Word of God planted clues in the Book and posed us a teaser in chapter 13 verse 18 of the book of Revelation. The chapter and verse numbers of the 666 scripture are instructive: 13 is the number of rebellion and 18 is 6+6+6.
The first evidence that floored me is this. Two years ago Paul Black (a friend of Ian Mallett) posted an intriguing article called ‘Counting Numbers’ (see link). Paul wrote:
There are four references to 666 in the bible, three in the OT, one in the NT. The three OT references are, 1 Kings 10:14 at 9,094, 2 Chronicles 9:13 at 11,378, and Ezra 2:13 at 12,041. The total is 32,513 or 41 x 793.Revelation 13:18 is 30,927, or 39 x 793. All four verses are therefore 80 x 793. This amazingly high common factor is the eleventh figurate hexagram, or star of David, which is made up of twelve triangles of 66, the eleventh triangular number. Notice the Revelation verse has the 3 x 13 again. The total number of letters in the four verses is 216, or 6 x 6 x 6.
What a remarkable discovery! What is so special about the number 793 that it is a common factor in the four 666 scriptures? An unbiased researcher like Paul Black took notice of it. No doubt he was puzzled by its intimate link with the number 666. Is it chance or design? Is there a purpose for its connection with the number of the beast? I believe there is. Observe that it is a factor of 13, the number of rebellion: 793 = 13 x 61. Astonishingly, it is also the standard English gematria value (see below) of BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!

Let’s put it this way: numerical deciphering of the Bible, Bible codes, or whatever they wish they call it, is one big load of crap. Not only that, I think it may rightly be considered heresy as it really is deceptive and keeps us from what is really important. Christianity is a revelead religion, it’s not an esoteric religion. The Bible speaks for itself and the Spirit leads us to understanding of it. For these reasons alone, this and the Bible codes pervert the Bible. I even recall reading some lengthy articles about the Bible code a few years ago, and some codes even “revealed” how Jesus is actually Lucifer or Satan. Oops, there go their fancy theories. Recently I’ve even read some [religious] Jews claiming that Obama is Gog, for crying out loud. Based not on English but on some Hebrew passages (it had to do with the order of cetain letters) in the book of Daniel, if I’m not mistaken. See just how loco this gets? And it goes on and on like that. But I’ll probably write you about that a bit more in detail in a mail sometime this week.

Well, I’m glad to see that this thread has given this topic all the respect it deserves.
He is the antichrist and if anyone of any denomination that believes in revelations, you will see that we have already and still are in the process of prophosies being fulfilled! Only time will tell, but what can you get at the grocery store for $50 now a days to feed a family?
I think that a great many of the worlds leaders are antichrists in the Biblical sense. Whether Obama is the Antichrist remains to be seen:
“Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.” (1John 2:18 )

I recall a friend tell me that my surname (an English spelling of the Gaelic name)had a Hebrew meaning. The proof? Screamingly obvious: Araham’s bothers were Nahor (an anagram of mine) and Haran (only one letter of a difference).
Besides, he believed that the Irish were descendents of lost Israel anyway, as were a few other nations. He never picked up on the Czech name which has an identical spelling and pronounciaton to mine. There again, the Czechs, unlike the Irish, are Gentiles!
It is amazing the things that intelligent, sane people come up with, believing they are proving a point. But one has to watch how far you can take this stuff. In fact, Armstongism is full of this Anglo-Israelism.
And there’s no getting through to then, for I know many of them from having been involved with the cult. There was one member I met who was convinced he was to be one of the two witnesses of Revelation. And he was an educated man (Armstrong was not).
But it all comes back to the same kind of thinking, whether Armstrong, Taze Russell, Mary Baker Eddy or Joseph Smith, &c.,–AND Tng.
These people, and their followers, have a paradigm they want to believe. Any facts contradicting their beliefs are ignored. Instead of facts dictating the paradigm the pardigm dictates the facts.
