Who should a Christian/Conservative vote for in the 2008 election?

I really do not see a reasonable candidate to vote for in the 2008 primary elections. So what should Conservatives and Christians who believe the Constitution and/or in moral absolutes of the Bible do? There is not much we can do about the Democrats because one of the two will get the nomination.

My suggestion is to Republicans and Independents. I believe that electing an acceptable candidate is no longer possible. Therefore, I suggest that you only vote for the candidate that has the least delegates locked up. The goal should not be for any one of the three candidates to win the primary. The goal should be to go to the convention without anyone having the nomination locked up. There will then be a brokered convention and the party will have to come up with someone else who will appeal to the majority of Republican delegates. That person would have to be a true conservative to win. That is the only chance a Conservative has of being nominated by the Republican party. The nominees running have proven by their past record that they will not support the values or the limited Federal government that we believe in.

If we fail to stop someone as liberal as McCain from getting the nomination we will need to start a third party based on returning to a strict interpretation of our Constitution and a society where the freedoms offered in the Constitution are upheld but those rights do not trample on the rights of the rest of us to worship God and to live in a moral decent society. This party should be created in 2008 not with the false illusion that we can win in 2008 but with the thought that whoever is elected in 2008 will make this country such a disaster that the heartland of this nation will be looking to return back toward its Christian roots and will be disillusion with both major parties.

I believe the next four years in this country could be one of the worst periods that the US has ever experienced as a nation. By 2012 many people may be looking to return to a nation of sanity. If the majority do not return, there will be a split between the liberal coastal states and the heartland states. The heartland is not going to allow coastal liberals to continue to force their godless agenda on them and their Children. We need to have a democratic political voice in place to peacefully secede from the Union if that turns out to be our last resort. If we do not, it still will occur but most likely it will not come about peacefully.

Certain pundits like in every election will bully Christians and Conservatives to vote for one of the least of the evils within our traditional two party system. However, we already tried that route a few too many times now. Doing that destroyed the conservative movement, allowed liberal debauchery to take over the nation and is now opening the door to hate speech laws that will shut down the Christian/Conservative voice permanently. It will be no different this year. If you vote for a phony conservative the country will continue to move rapidly toward socialism, liberalism, big government, taxation, and total brainwashing of our society by godless socialist control freaks that have undue influence in government, media, religion and industry.

Better to withdraw from the Republicans and regroup into a new party for a major offensive by 2012 than to be lied to and manipulated by people who have no intentions of ever supporting the US Constitution or Christian moral laws.

  1. I believe what you are saying is correct. I’m an Independent Conservative and yes a Fundemental Evangelical. I cannot in my good conscience vote for any of Candidates. I have a duty to GOD first ! As for another party for 2012 I guess it is worth a try, but I believe things are only going to get worse as I believe we are entering into the end times. That doesn’t mean we should give up though, so you are probably right.
PS Hopefully the rapture will come soon and I won’t have to worry about it LOL

  2. Actually I am suggesting that we start the new party this year so that it will become a major movement by 2012. By that time we might be in the middle of the fall of the US or even near the end of the worst of it. I think we are very near the end times but I also think the US will have a great fall before we even get there.

  3. what about Ron Paul?

    http://www.ronpaul2008.com/

he is the only candidate fighting for a limited Federal government.
he is fighting to uphold the Constitution.
he is the only candidate who has voted consistently.
he is the only non-CFR candidate that i can tell.
he is the only one who hasn’t sold out.

    Voting records: http://www.ontheissues.org/TX/Ron_Paul.htm

Please! At least do the research and see for yourself!
Google video: ‘CFR’, ‘from freedom to fascism’, ‘911 press for truth’

  4. Ron Paul is the only choice for Christians who actually do their research, unless they only watch Foxnews.

    We have been brainwashed.

At first glance, Huckabee appears to be a “choice”, but if you do the research and see who he hangs out with – for instance, his foreign policy advisor is the president of the Counsel on Foreign Relations (research CFR), then you know that he is not.

All i ask is that you do your research, and watch just a few google videos, so we can end the vast corruption in our gov’t.

    go to google.com / more / video

watch: ‘America: from freedom to fascism’ or ‘911 Press for Truth’.

  5. I agree about Dr. Ron Paul and think a third party will be viable in 2012 if it starts to take root now. If Someone like Ron Paul were to somehow get elected in 2008 he will just be blamed for all the troubles the nation is about to face and all government would work against him. There has to be a grassroots third party movement to sweep both branches of government. Unless there is a complete economic collapse that is not likely to happen by this fall.

  6. Your statement that there are no viable candidates for the Christian/ Conservative voters is totally absurd. Who is more Godly and America first than Ron Paul? Haven’t you as much as looked at this statesman’s background and ideals? Obviously not. Just what do you believe a viable candidate should represent? Ron Paul is everything that a Christian or Conservative American should embrace. He is a huge threat to the Godless establishment and has been intentionally eliminated from equal time on debates. He has been all but silenced by the controlled media. Who is more qualified to become President of the United States of America???? Who has ever had a plan to lead America out of the moral destruction and bankruptcy that is promised to our country if things continue as they are? None other than Ron Paul.

  7. I take it your talking to me. If you read my statements you would know that I like Dr. Ron Paul. However, he is not a viable candidate because he cannot get elected before their is a national depression.

There has to be a large grass roots movement to support him before he could change anything in this country. Even a president cannot do anything on his own. He has to have support in the House and Senate as well. For Ron Paul to be viable he would need half of the voters in the United States to support him. I say that this is a possibility for someone like Ron Paul in 2012 if people start working in 2008 to start a third party, but it certainly is not going to happen in 2008 unless the whole house of cards suddenly crashes in the next few months..
