I think its great that we have the internet to educate and be educated, it is a wonderful tool.
But after it is gone or taken away from us we have to remember that the Word of God spread throughout the World literally using word of mouth.
In Fact before the Internet, America achieved the greatest evangelism all over the world during the late 19th century and early 20th century.
Radio was just being made available as mass communication.
i think God wants to prove to us that Face to face evangelism is still his preferred method of bringing Christ to the world.
It didn’t fail for the Lord Jesus and His apostles then so i am sure it will still work now and they can never take this away from us true believers
The Internet as of now is just training us, preparing us to spread the Word Accurately.

A while back there was an interesting series of articles on “Survival Blog” about setting up an “Internet” without infrastructure. Don’t know if it would apply here, but the concept was interesting. I can see it working in small population areas. Might be something to consider should we lose access to the “regular” Internet. I think the Dark Web mentioned above would become useful if Don’s and other web sites like his are banned. Another thing the “Survival Blog” does is post their IP address in the event the normal “WWW” URL is blocked. Again, not sure how this works either as I’m not really well versed on how the internet operates.

The war that we are in is against God and his truth. Look for anyone that speaks truth to be censored, including you Don. I have always enjoyed reading your insight. At least things will be easy for us to discern. Anything left on the web will be automatically considered false. don’t forget their is a dark web that remains uncensored and can not be due to it’s structure. So we go underground. I always said the first Christians were underground and so will the last ones be. They can take anything they want from me but they can’t take my love for God or his love for me. I don’t belong here anyway. I belong in heaven. In 100 years from now we all will be laughing about this in the millennial kingdom.

ICANN has some standards right now. If you do not keep your website contacts and locations up to date they can take away your domain name. Of course they set annual fees as well.

There also is the “report abuse” with information they provide about your domain. I do not know if ICANN checks out abuse themselves but they will tell your web host/name seller to do something about abuse. I believe ICANN was the cause of a lot of Big Daddy hosted websites being taken down awhile back.

When ICANN becomes controlled by other nations there is no telling what the directors of it will do. For example, if China and the Muslim states have the most influence on the board they can set up their own control freak standards for names and numbers.

The solution to private company abuse is not supporting them or their sponsors.

Here’s the thing. Based on our current laws, private companies do not have to abide by the same laws as government ones do. This is a problem because much of our news sources are from the private sector. Apparently, companies like google, Facebook, and Twitter can do whatever they want for the most part cause it’s their business. Maybe that’s why these billionaires are buying up unprofitable newspapers. There is a war against free speech going on and we are losing badly.
I was trying to research ICANN and why it’s a big deal that It’s moving outside the U.S. but I got nowhere. It looks like it only deals with IP addresses and naming conventions. I heard other countries want it to become an international organization. Right now it’s under the control of the DOC, but idk if that’s good or bad…

I’ve had 2 friends on Facebook this week who’s posts have been removed because of Christian ideals, pro life, and in think another was something about Hillary and the black community. And a page I follow was put on a 24 hour suspension for saying something about the 2nd amendment and how the Government is stripping us of that right. So it is happeneing…often.
