I think the words “come up here” will only be said for those with spiritual ears to hear. The others probably will hear the sound of the trumpet but like the companions on the road with Paul they won’t really know what was said.

Food for thought, but even if those signs happened, the oral traditions were not completely put to paper until around 500 AD. They would not be using the modern calendar even if there is some kind of dating in the tradition. That probably came later, so I think the 30 AD conjecture that is being used is not certain for the same reasons that in hindsight modern scholars differ on the date of the crucifixion.
