Hello Don,

Your insight has been spot on once again. Many geopolitical scientists have been waving the red flag on this issue for almost 20 years.

China’s “one child” policy has created a huge surplus of poor angry men who will never marry and have families. This will result in mortality spikes beginning in the late 2020’s.

India has a gender specific genocide of unborn female babies, that is now producing a similar result. A surplus of poor angry men.

But it should be noted that in general, birth rates are tanking. Women in Iran are having few babies. And many are forsaking having large families across the third world with the strange exception of Afghanistan and Chad.

Hi Adriana,

God foreknows the birth of everyone. I know of nothing in the Bible that says anything like God knows the birth of the last Gentile. Maybe you are referring to the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled (Lu 21:24) or the fullness of the Gentiles coming in (Ro 11:25).

When the fullness of the Gentiles destined to be saved are saved God will restore Israel. I would not say all saved Gentiles will be among the fruit-fruits, if that is what you are referring to. The fruit-fruits go in the rapture. Most other Gentiles that come to believe will be saved in the tribulation. After the tribulation of those days, God saves the whole house of Israel.

I have not really thought about this, but I have to say, in giving thought to this, what you’re saying is absolutely true. Where I live, seeing a pregnant woman is like seeing an endangered species. It’s very rare. And seeing little kids is rare as well. I’m 60 and when I was young there were kids everywhere. Not so much today. Maybe they keep them hidden, in structured play areas so we don’t see them. I know Don will know, but isn’t there somewhere in the Bible, or maybe I heard it (or read it wrong) about God knowing the birth of the last gentile. Is this to some degree what you are referring to?

Thank you for writing on this subject. I thought it was very interesting viewing the birthrate crisis from an eschatological perspective. This is a topic that is near and dear to me as recently I have had to come to terms with the realization I will probably never have a family of my own. Helps to see it from this biblical point of view. Society has changed so much in the past 5 years I almost don’t recognize it.

This article was right on time, falling birth rates in Europe and America have been highlighted in articles the last couple of years and my thoughts have been that it would make sense for God to slow down the earth’s population growth before His return, but I did not realize it was Biblical. I believe your figures could even be hastened by Ebola which is not getting much press but could explode throughout Africa overnight.
