Presidential candidates give us Christian wisdoms like, “babies are a punishment”

Dave Daubenmire correctly sees that all the leading candidates running for President are not Christians in any biblical sense of the word. Anyone can call themselves a Christians but when Christians start believing that known pagans are Christian, maybe they should reexamine why they believe that they themselves are Christians. If you need further enlightenment read the article.

On the other hand, what should Christians expect to come out of a satanic world system? Christians. The U.S. is not a Christian nation it never really was. There are no Christian nations on earth there are only various percentages of Christians in the nations.… continue reading

Shame has died so what hope is there?

Everyone knows what Dave said in this article is true. It is a shame that there is no shame anymore and unless people can again be ashamed of their wickedness there is no hope either.

Dave Daubenmire — The Death of Shame

here is the tragic part. We know that they lie, yet we still consider them qualified for public service. Pastors endorse them, pundits justify their behavior, and Christians vote for the “lesser of the evils.” “It’s only politics” (Is that John Dewey I hear?) as they try to convince us that lying is no longer a big deal. Let me ask you something.

Light the log and you will turn up the temperature in your church

What Coach Daubenmire says here may not be exactly what I would tell you to do but I agree with enough of it to offer his expertise.

Dave Daubenmire — Light a Fire Under Your Pastor

I could share with you copies of emails that I received, but I don’t want to take up the space. Suffice it to say that nearly all of them were hungry for Biblical leadership. Here is a stern warning to pastors. Write it off if you like. The folks in the pew are greatly dissatisfied. I hear it when I speak in churches and I hear it every time I write a commentary.

The pulpits are silent except when pulpit puppets preach the national feel good gospel.

Coach Dave Daubenmire spells out the problem and most of the pulpits will remain silent. We could also insert the word Christians in place of pulpits.

Dave Daubenmire — …and the Pulpits Are Silent

Public schools are destroying the faith of Christian children and the pulpits are silent.
Legislation is introduced to remove the rights of parents and the pulpits are silent.
Children are taught they came from apes and the pulpits are silent.
Millions of children are “medicated” to control their behavior and the pulpits are silent.
Gambling is promoted to pay for schools and the pulpit is silent.
Precious babies are being murdered in the womb and the pulpits are silent.

SPIRITUAL SUGAR DIABETES

Dave Daubenmire puts his finger on the problem in today’s Churches. They have Christian versions of Oprah and Dr. Phil preaching in the pulpit and filling bookstores with sugar coated books. They sell Christians junk food.  How else do you explain what we see them buying for their consumption? Now many Christians keep craving more sugar until it puts them into a diabetic coma.

I expect this type of “preaching” from Dr. Phil, or Oprah, or a myriad of “pychobabalists” who dot the world of plasma TV’s. But it is tragic that the best selling Christian books in America today happen to be of this ilk.

The Church of the Dead Sea or the Church of the dead Me?

Once in a while Dave Daubenmire’s observations leave me somewhat bewildered. I don’t know where he attends church but his observation in this article are not based on the facts. Most Christians do not go to Church three times a week and none are over-stuffed with the word. You are luck to get Christians to attend church once a week for one or two hours. Most Christians are starving for the lack of the word being taught. I have yet to meet one Christian that is over-stuffed with the word. Most Christians have never even read through the Bible in their entire lifetime.continue reading

Is it time for a street fight?

What a radical idea. Dave proposes that leaders in Christianity actually direct their followers to take effective social action to stop the Godless perverted agenda that has taken over our society.

Don’t hold your breath Dave. “Christianity” made them leaders in the first place because these leaders reflect their own values – the values of Laodicean materialistic cultural pseudo-Christianity.

In other words, I am saying the Christianity that you think exists in Western Christianity is now mostly a cultural illusion.

Dave Daubenmire — Is It Time for a Street fight?: “But here is the Truth. We lack the courage and the desire to do it.… continue reading
