What a circus is going on in the name of Christ in Lakeland Florida! The latest ring leader of this circus is Todd Bentley but they apparently have had enough freak show hucksters and visitors for these phony and satanic “healing”, laughing and lunacy side shows to keep this circus act going for over a decade. Time for the Detergent Church to clean up after the Emergent Church

Doug Giles has it right. We need a Detergent Church like Spic-and-Span or Mister Clean and not the wimpy postmodern Emergent Church with their wimpy Loving Bubbles that claim to clean without any personal effort and that does not even work. The postmodern church programs have become much like a Laurence Welk rerun where everyone-is-going-to have-good-time waltzing around Christian doctrines.

The Church should police its own

Government is going after them because the Church will do nothing to police its own. Word Faith prosperity teachers should be shunned as heretics. Any TV network and Radio network who airs their programs should be dealt with severely by the denominations. Those ordained ministers who help support networks that broadcast Word Faith heretical teaching should be subject to being defrocked.

Having said that, the prosperity message is popular because many Christians are greedy for material gain. It really reflects the state of Christianity in America.
