Its been ten years since the terrorist attack on 9/11/01 and we have been pretty fortunate that there has not been a successful WMD event in all that time. If you would have asked me in 2001, I would have told you that I thought that more mass casualty attacks were inevitable.

The reason they have not happened can be credited to our military and our intelligence agencies and the lack of sophistication of the terrorists. If you remember back in those days we were wondering if Russian built suitcase nukes were available to terrorists. Apparently they were not. Osama Bin Laden could be on a ship with Jack Bauer spilling his guts.

If something like the raid on the Bin Laden hideout in Pakistan took place on the “24 Hours” series or the “The Unit” series I would be saying that this is good fiction but I don’t think it is very realistic.

After ten years the President of the United States suddenly finds the most wanted man in the world and then instead of bombing the place takes the very high risk of sending in special forces to get him. You would think if they decided to send in special forces it is because they wanted to take him alive. After all, Bin Laden would know if al Qaeda had access to nukes or some other weapon of mass destruction, so why would you kill him?… continue reading

America can have riots and civil war or a temporary benevolent dictator.

It is clear to me that this country is now hopelessly divided and there will be no solution if we do not find a very strong leader that can shock Americans into reality by telling them the unvarnished truth about where the nation is heading and making it clear that the only alternative to his own radical proposals will be social breakdown with riots and even a civil war. We need someone with the communication skills and likability of Ronald Regan and Glenn Beck and the independent resources of someone like Ross Perot. It looks like it is going to be an interesting and very unstable year. It is almost like the world has now reached some tipping point and everyone is about to go loony like they did in the late 1930’s and 1940’s. The whole Middle East is now a ticking time bomb. I see no end to the uprisings and turmoil until they make a fatal mistake and unite against Israel.

There very well could be a Sunni Shia war before this all plays out. Of course the U.S. will have to protect its oil lines so it will be supporting the majority Sunni led by Saudi Arabia.… continue reading

New world disorder will bring riots and civil insurrections even here

The world is going into a new world order of disorder. On one side you have the tyrannical power elite with all the money and weapons and on the other side you have the oppressed, the Marxist’s and the Islamist’s. No matter which of these end up in power the outcome will be the attempted destruction of the opposition. I think the world is heading into a great time of disorder. What you have been seeing so far is in the Middle East and North Africa is just act one of a long drama.

Even if many of these nations now in turmoil somehow achieve Democracy, that Democracy will just become a tyranny of the majority with the majority imposing Islamic law, Socialism or Fascism on everyone.… continue reading

Fourth turning suggests over two decades of world chaos.

I do not totally buy into the “fourth turning” time cycles although the four turnings spoken about in that book do seem to occur about once in a human lifespan. I as well, see a bitter winter coming to our nation and the world in the near future. I think we are about two years away from at least two decades of unparalleled world chaos.

I found out yesterday just how fast the web host will take down your blog if it is using a little two much of their resources. I ran a site map tool in order to create a site map to submit to Google. I ran it at the default settings which runs five threads at the same time. I guess it took about three hours to make the sitemap of my website. Sometime shortly thereafter my web host denied service to anyone who wanted to visit this blog.

Being scary is just too cool on Halloween.

Halloween is the time of the year when Mahmud Ahmadinejad masks sell like hot cakes because for some reason people think that having the scariest mug on the planet is just too cool on Halloween. Ahmadinejad by himself could haunt a house in the Christian most parts of Lebanon. This week he is on his way to do just that in person. October is the month when scary people like Ahmadinejad get a pass to act like themselves.

Maybe Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbolloah will come out of his black hole while Ahmadinejad is around and maybe Assad of Syria will join them so the trio can go knocking on doors yelling trick-or-treat and scaring people silly.… continue reading

Taking America back to a history of appeasement.

Many of the problems for America today could have been avoided by better decisions in the past. If we could go back to late 1940’s and then over the next sixty years made the correct hard choices instead of the half- hearted politically correct ones, we could have been a nation that stood against tyranny in the world and a nation that stood for what is morally right. U.S. Intelligence is worried that Pakistan may fall to terrorists.

Apparently our own intelligence agencies now believe that the situation in Pakistan is grave and that Pakistan may fall into the hands of terrorists. Rick Moran in this blog questions what Obama or what the U.S. would do in such a situation. I do not think there would be any choice. We cannot allow terrorists to get their hands on scores of nuclear weapons and we cannot allow a terrorist state in Pakistan, nor will India ever allow such a thing.
