There are many parallels to the 1930’s today.<\/strong> History does repeat itself. It seems the socialists of the 1930’s have been reincarnated to play in the upcoming 2010’s world war games.<\/p>\n

In the 1930’s the world was heading into a decade of deep depression. All indicators are that in the 2010’s the world will see the same economic fate. In the 1930’s socialism was the big rising ideology. There were some differences between the various socialisms of the 1930’s but they all had many similarities as well, such as government having control over everyone and the redistributing wealth. There was the Hitler’s style, the Lenin\/Stalin’s style, Mussolini’s Fascist style, Mao’s style and even FDR’s New Deal style.<\/p>\n

The world economic collapse of the 1930’s led all developed nations to look for answers in some sort of socialist government that would take from the rich and redistribute the wealth around (where have I heard that term?). But the various forms of socialism could not agree on some points and they learned to distrust each other. They played to the baser instincts of people looking for scapegoats for their own shortcomings. Like all good socialists their own self righteousness and their belief in the idealistic “cause” led to reporting anyone they thought was a threat to the utopian movement or its inspired leader. The gradual elimination of all opposition led to the rise of ruling tyrants with absolute powers who’s egos would bring the world to world war II.<\/p>\n

Now fast forward to 2010.<\/strong> There is a world economic downturn and it is repeating the same patterns of the 1930’s. After a sharp economic crash in both periods there was a brief recovery. The very brief recovery in the 1930’s was followed by a much sharper downturn with very high unemployment that lasted until the second world war. It now looks like we just had our brief recovery. All indications are that by late in this year or next we will have entered the second phase of the downturn that will last under the third world war.<\/p>\n

Socialism is again rising all over the developed world. Europe with its social welfare system and increasingly centralized union is very socialistic and now the United States under Obama has almost caught up with Europe in just 19 months. Latin America once again is seeing a rise in socialism. China gave up on pure communism but it retains all the state control of socialism, it actually is now Fascist. Russia likewise gave up on socialist Communism and is increasing becoming Fascist. Muslim nations of the world are either socialist Fascist theocracies or are socialists nations run by an elite Oligarchy. Even Africa is very socialist.<\/p>\n

Europe is the Fabian socialist model but it is now being choked by debt and high taxes. America has now radically turned toward socialism and now has a far left government that is rapidly increasing its control over everything and also rapidly increasing the size of government. America also will soon be choking on out of control debt. So the whole world is back to the 1930’s again and as economic conditions worsen the tyrants will certainly pop up with scapegoats and promises that the people want to hear. When government runs everything and there is nothing to check government you can be sure that tyranny is right on the horizon.<\/p>\n

In the 1930’s the Jews around the world were blamed for the economic conditions and that led to their persecution. In the 2010’s they will again be blamed again and the state of Israel will also become increasing isolated. At some point the Arab Muslims will attempt to cut off Israel from being a nation. True Christians that see a future and purpose for the state of Israel in God’s will and a return of the Jewish Messiah King to rule the earth will also come under persecution from these humanistic socialists. Socialists do not want to hear about God ruling on earth that would mean they would have to give up the sins they love so much.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So here we are about to repeat history again because those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The Church should be awake to these things but apparently most are asleep living in gospel lite Laodicea. Many of our church leaders have become useful idiots of the state just like the religious leaders in the time of Hitler.<\/p>\n

My greatest disappointment was that Pastor Bill Hybels of Willow Creek Church in Illinois took the stand to introduce the president and thereby gave Obama the cover he was looking for. Hybels is the driving force behind the “seeker-friendly” phenomena that essentially neutralized the evangelical church as a moral force over the last 30 years.<\/p>\n

I have met Pastor Hybels; I know many pastors who know him much better and believe him to be a decent man who loves God and is sincere. However, his admittance of the failure of the “Willow Creek Model” did not undo the massive damage “Christianity light” has done to the church and, as a result of the paralysis of godly influence, to the nation.<\/p>\n

His willingness to use failed leaders like Jimmy Carter in his annual “Leadership Summit” as a model of such also reveals either no discernment or lack of consistent biblical standards in that widely viewed conference. My point?<\/p>\n

When highly influential pastors like Hybels and Joel Osteen (e.g., his giving thanks to God for “raising up” activist lesbian mayor of Houston, Annise Parker) give cover to reprobate politicians, they yield not only their own moral high ground and influence, but that of pastors all over the nation whom they are perceived to represent.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On the other hand, there are a few Christian leaders that are warning this nation. On the pentecostal side you have David Wilkerson’s message of warning<\/strong> <\/a>and now one of the most respected teachers in evangelical Christianity used a July 4th message to warn this nation. Dr Charles Stanley warns of socialism, America’s departure from God and America’s departure from Israel.<\/a> <\/strong>Here is a clip of that message<\/p>\n

America currently stands in a very dangerous position, said renowned pastor and author Dr. Charles Stanley. Today more than ever, the country is turning away from God and moving closer toward socialism, he warned. And the consequences will be grave. “We know the truth, we know the principles of God. In spite of all that, we find ourselves as a nation violating the laws of God, heading in a direction that is going to be disastrous for us, for our children and the generations that are to come unless there is a change,”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“The tide is bringing in a control that will indeed attempt to silence the truth and will attempt to squash the religious devotion and worship of the people of God.”<\/p>\n

That tide began creeping in many years ago, he noted, when the government and the courts began banning prayer at schools and removing references to Jesus, God and the Ten Commandments from the public square, Stanley noted.<\/p>\n

“It is an attempt to destroy the Christian spirit in America,” he said.<\/p>\n

“There is a war going on against Jesus,” he declared. “It’s part of the strategy. The primary reason for this war against Him is He is interfering with the plan to make this a socialist nation. Mark it down. It is the truth.”<\/p>\n

Among the other elements of the dangerous tide are: terrorism, turning our backs on Israel, the announcement that the United States is not a Christian nation, increasing national disasters, a departure from the biblical view of marriage, and support for killing the unborn,<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dr. Stanley goes on in his speech calling for 140 days of prayer from Christians. It is a good call, and all pastor should take heed but how many Christians really will do it? And if they even do pray, what will they really be praying for? My bet is that most will be praying for more prosperity instead of national repentance.<\/p>\n

In ancient Egypt you had to die to get to utopia, but the psychology is always the same.\u00a0 Utopian cults always appeal to suckers. They are a very nasty part of the human condition. But there’s nothing new there, and they are certainly not “progressive.” They are a throwback.<\/span><\/div>\n

Obama doesn’t look like a normal American because he is a High Priest. Harry Truman wouldn’t recognize him, but King Tut would. Obama has all the arrogance and ignorance of a Pharaoh <\/span><\/div>\n

So here are two ways to simplify the daily media circus. First, the media are the cult of the Left, trying to twist your mind. The “Left” equals global totalitarianism, which is Stalinism, which is Leninism, which is radical feminism, which is the hateful racism of the Reverend Wright and Louis Farrakhan.\u00a0 Same story, different labels. Keep it simple. <\/span><\/div>\n

Whatever mask they try on, radical leftists are internationalists<\/span> — meaning that they are against America as a sovereign nation<\/em>. That’s Obama’s real beef against us<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So we are seeing the Hitler-Stalin Pact,<\/span> Take 2. The motivation is identical. These people\u00a0 hate the modern world, just like the Nazis and Lenin did.\u00a0 Hitler wanted to go back to the Nordic gods. His utopia was in a fantasy past. Lenin placed his utopia in the distant future. If you’re a coercive utopian you have to dream of\u00a0 a long-ago\u00a0 past or a misty future, as long as it’s impossible to see what it’s really like.<\/span><\/div>\n

Today the Saudis want to go back to Mohammed in the 7th century, and the Twelvers in Iran want to go back to the Hidden Mahdi in the 11th century. They all want to make utopia by force and terror.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Left-fascists are intolerant of individualism, liberty, free speech and electoral legitimacy, which is why they always try to sabotage constitutional government. Kagan on the Supreme Court. Obama as Pharaoh in the Oval. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We are seeing a re-run of the Hitler-Stalin Pact of 1938. That Left-Fascist alliance<\/span> fell apart when Hitler flipped and decided to send tanks into Poland and Russia instead.<\/span><\/div>\n
