Fantasyland was once confined to Disneyland in California but it has now progressed to become much of California. People in California continually vote to do more harm to themselves. So, you have to believe that most of the people living there are out of touch with reality and the state has become suicidal.<\/p>\n
California in many ways has become a schizophrenic “Hotel California”, little it does makes any logical sense. Can the air and water be blamed for the insanity that rages in California? They themselves seem to think so because they just keep making more costly environmental laws when they are already dead broke. It could have something to do with the drinking water that now contains MTBE poison due to the fact that California legislators mandated that this poison be put in gasoline after thinking that it was lead in the gas that was making Californians crazy. Even now in a financial crises they never get it, the people just voted to cap carbon emissions on their 600 main industries. They think this will not impact jobs? Sure Daffy! Welcome to Hotel California.<\/p>\n

\nSome dance to remember, some dance to forget<\/p><\/blockquote>\nAfter two terms of\u00a0 a steroid poping pothead body builder actor as Governor, they once again elected Jerry Brown, (A.K.A. Governor Moonbeam) to take over running the affairs of the state. According to Albert Einstein people that keep making the same mistakes over and over expecting different results are insane. Looking at California I have no reason to doubt him.<\/p>\n
California is called the land of the fruits, flakes and nuts because of the fitting double meaning. However, now much of the produce comes out of Mexico and most of the fruits, flakes, nuts (and drug-heads) are found in coastal cities. When you cross over into the inland empire the other main export from Mexico is seen in abundance. Mexico exports its people to a Mexican Reserve called the Californian Central Valley.<\/p>\n
Much of the Central Valley now looks and sounds like it belongs in Mexico. The housing, environmental and health regulations are only for those living within the western Fantasyland. The Central Valley apparently is exempt because government bureaucrats don’t want to deal with the Mexicans.<\/p>\n
Governor elect Jerry Brown is saying that the budget shortfall will by worse then He thought and about 29 billion dollars. California’s debt is almost almost three trillion dollars right now. The debt ratio is over twice the debt ratio of the federal government and California is not allowed to just print money like the Fed. Yet, California is not allowed to default either. So all it can do is raise taxes, make cuts, or sell more bonds that just make the problem worse. They attempt to kick the can down the road with bonds and by doing so that increases the amount of interest that they will have to pay in all future budgets.<\/p>\n
California already is one of highest taxed states in the nation but it will need to raise or cut many billions more to meet its budget this year. California is now one of the highest risks in the world for debt default of any state or nation. Nevertheless, they continue to put more burdens on the productive to distribute it to those that do not contribute much to society. Those that have the skills to make enough to pay taxes are increasing leaving the state and those that receive much more from the State of California then they pay in are increasing in numbers radically. They are coming into the state from Mexico in hordes.<\/p>\n
Illegal aliens in California receive about $20 billion more in state services than they pay in state taxes. There lies the main budget deficit problem. If the budget had been limited to the population-inflation growth rate, California would have a surplus. The problem really is the increase in government, government programs to support illegals, over regulation and over lucrative pay and retirement programs for state workers.<\/p>\n
One third of state prison inmates are illegal aliens. Yet, California is full of sanctuary cites. The rural road infrastructure is crumbling because they use gasoline tax money for other things. The state now ranks 48th in spending per pupil and more cuts are planned. The state has the lowest ratio of emergency rooms to population in the country because hospitals cannot stay in business when they are forced to take people that do not pay.<\/p>\n
The real problem in California is that special interest groups and the special political class run the state. The political class thinks the people of California exist to serve the state instead of the other way around.<\/p>\n
What this Fantasyland really needs is a constitutional convention. They might follow Iceland’s example. In the world financial crises Iceland became a failed state much like California will become. Iceland is now in the process of nominating common people, not politicians<\/strong>, to write a whole new constitution.<\/p>\n
In Hotel California the people just can’t kill the beast that they created through there own votes so they would be far better off picking the delegates at random by merit than by electing them. If the common people cannot establish a rational government in California maybe they should join Mexico because Mexico is increasingly joining them anyway. From what we see happening in Mexico they have much in common. Criminal minds are running things.<\/p>\n
