The present rise of protests against existing governments are not primarily religiously or politically motivated although there are those that will be sure to take advantage of the discontentment and use it toward that end. These civil upheavals are really happening because the world’s wealth is increasingly being sucked up by the rich and powerful elite. Rising food prices and low wages and high unemployment are making it increasingly difficult for the poor to survive.<\/p>\n
For example, in the United States the top one percent have 42 percent of the nation’s wealth and that percentage has been increasing even during the recession.<\/p>\n
The top 100 richest people in the world are worth somewhere around 1.5 trillion dollars and there are about 850 additional billionaires in the world that I would guesstimate are worth about another 3.5 trillion dollars. So, the top 1000 people in the world are worth more than the GDP of almost all countries and we have not yet mentioned the more than one million people in the world that are worth at least ten million dollars. My guess is that they would be worth another 50 to 100 trillion dollars. These rich people have amassed more wealth than the annual GDP of the entire world. About half the wealth of the world is now controlled by of one percent of the population. At the same time, a couple of billion people cannot find enough money or jobs to even provide for their families the basic necessities to live like civilized people.<\/p>\n
This is not a problem caused by the free enterprise system and capitalism. Many of the richest people in the world are socialists or are tyrannical leaders that pilfer their nation’s wealth. Socialist and fascist statist governments all have an elite class that are filthy rich and they are the ones that are oppressing the common people in their nations.<\/p>\n
They make a great pretense that they are for the worker and for redistributing the wealth while they actually redistribute the wealth to themselves when they run corporations and get into positions of power. They provide cover for themselves by developing social subsistence programs designed to keep the slave class placated and peaceful on their plantations.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, there comes a point when the poor get weary of watching the filthy rich flaunt their wealth all over the media and planet. They see that they use their wealth and power to oppress by imposing endless statist rules and regulations on people they consider their subjects. It has become so that the common man cannot even provide for their own families without connections, a bribe or a costly permit.<\/p>\n
What may be taking place in the world with all these uprisings is the start of a grass roots revolution against the the world elite that control most of the wealth. People in the Middle East are tired of a few royal families and tyrannical dictators having all the wealth and all the power. With the help of modern communication devices don’t be surprised if the oppressed become enlightened and expand this revolution all over the world. China is supposed to be a communist country but most of the wealth is firmly in the hands of multi millionaires and billionaires. The richest man in Russia is said to be Putin, and he and his fellow KGB thugs are in total control of most of the energy developments in that nation. Similar stories can be told in many nations.<\/p>\n
The Revolution and the results will be different in every nation. Some will be given meaningful concessions that will appease most of the population and others will be oppressed and put down with brute military force. Even in Europe and the United States people are going to soon be running in the streets because of promised entitlements and services that government will not be able to deliver.<\/p>\n
Common people in the world are turning to piracy, kidnapping, drugs and other crimes to raise money. They really are not risking their lives for the sheer adventure of illegal activity. Nor, are most of these people more evil then the rest of us. These are men that will provide for their family by any means necessary. They are not just going to roll over and send their families out begging. They generally do these dangerous and illegal activities because that is the only way their families can survive. Certain people will become dangerous when they have little to lose.<\/p>\n
So, don’t be surprised when crime rises all over the world at the same time that food prices are rising all over the world. Some think using food crops to burn alcohol in our cars is wise, but this insane policy is one of the main causes of the world grain shortages and the rising food prices.<\/p>\n
Unemployment is extremely high all over the world because the Chinese government stacked the economic deck so that other nations cannot compete with their low wage slave shops that help make their millionaires and billionaires even richer. Expect a trade war to develop one way or another between China and other nations. That could also lead to military solutions.<\/p>\n
Futher, don’t be very surprised when people in this nation and elsewhere revolt against paying $5 a gallon for gas. Some of the people we buy our gas from get it out of the ground for a dime a gallon. Then they use extortion through the means of an illegal oil cartel so that we can keep their royalty and dictators in women, yachts and caviar.\u00a0 Many of the people in those nations never did a day of work in their lives, unless you want to call bossing their servants work.<\/p>\n
People have a right to make wealth if they are not doing it by robbing others, but if they were blessed by God with riches and honor through honest means, they ought to at least remember the poor and the oppressed of the world. If they do not use their God given wealth and positions of power wisely it will become a curse to them when the poor turn against them in a revolution.<\/p>\n
Those that live to make money and that make money their God have a Bible passage written just for them. This passage is also written for the people that they oppress. This passage certainly applies to people living in these prophetic years.<\/p>\n
Jas 5:1\u00a0 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
