The scriptures say that God created man in His own image. Some ancient text scholars say it means that man was created by God to be His image bearers or imagers. I think that is at least partly correct. We can look at other passages and get some light on what this means. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the express image of God (Heb 1:3) and we know that Jesus as God’s image has the capacity to be God over all creation. In like manner, man made in the image of God was given the capacity to rule over the whole earth. Genesis later implies the same thing when we read that God gave man dominion over the earth.<\/p>\n

Genesis also tells us that Adam and Eve lost at least some of their capacity to be imagers of God when Eve was deceived by the Devil, and Adam sinned through disobedience and rebellion. After sin entered into their souls, Adam and Eve were booted out of the Garden of Eden and their spiritual covering from God was removed. They became natural mortal beings and although they reflected the features of the Son of God and the angels they lost much of their capacity to be able to perform the mission that God gave them.<\/p>\n

We might wonder why the Devil even wanted to deceived Eve in order to bring Adam to sin, and where does the Devil now want to take fallen mankind? The first answer can be surmised from scripture. From Ezekiel 28 13-19 we understand that the Devil had also sinned. This sin probably occurred before man was even created or perhaps even because man was created to rule earth. This Ezekiel passage and others tell us that the sin of Lucifer was pride. He wanted to become like God and he wanted to be worshiped like he was God. Revelation 12:4-9 implies that a third of the angels are under the Devil’s control and that they will be cast out unto the earth with him after a war in Heaven occurs near the end of this age. So the Devil wanted man to sin so that man would reflect his own sinful nature.<\/p>\n

The second question probably can be answered by saying that Satan is now trying to keep mankind in his fallen sinful state so he can play God over mankind. Scripture does call Satan the god of this world (system). As long as man remains a natural being with a rebellious spirit like a beast he cannot become the image bearer that God created mankind to be. When man fell into sin he also reflected the dark light of Satan and he became the image bearer of dark light rather than the true Light. Man in his fallen body of sin and death is like a natural beast. He is born to die and he has no hope other than trusting in the mercy of God to redeem his body so he can be changed in the likeness of the already risen Christ.<\/p>\n

The Bible tells the story of how Jesus fulfilled the role of the Kinsman Redeemer of Adam. Through His word, through His physical incarnation on earth and through His creative good works, Jesus showed man that he was the true Light. He displaced the darkness of Satan for all those given to Him by the Father.<\/p>\n

The proof of heavenly spirit salvation for human believers was that they put their faith (trust) in Him and died with Him to the fleshly nature that was held captive by the Devil through sin and death. They died to self at the cross with Jesus and they arose with Him into a new spiritual creation. This is what the ritual of water baptism represents.<\/p>\n

Those trusting in God’s righteousness were given the presence and light of the Holy Spirit as the down payment that one day they will again be made into eternal image bearers of God when Jesus comes for those given to Him.<\/p>\n

So then what is Satan’s agenda? Where does he believe he is taking natural mortal man that is still full of darkness and pride? Obviously the Devil wants man to believe that he is God and that the biblical God is really the enemy of man. He wants mankind to believe that they are just a product of evolution and just a natural highly evolved animal that evolved through time and chance. The lie is that man can continue to evolve to become like God but the god image offered by Satan’s progressive demonic agenda in reality is making humans to become imagers of himself.<\/p>\n

We read in Revelation that when Satan and his angels are cast unto the earth and that they know their time is short, that they immediate lead man to a mass rebellion against the God of heaven. Also, when Satan is let out of prison after the millennial reign, Satan again immediately leads mankind into rebellion against God’s order on earth. So Satan’s progressive agenda has always been to turn mankind into rebellious imagers of the black light that comes from him.<\/p>\n

That is where the lie of evolution comes in. The lie of evolution is to get man to believe that man has evolved and can further evolve to become like God. It seems that the strong delusion mention in 2 Th 2:11 is to get man to believe that through progressive physical and spiritual evolution mankind can achieve that goal.<\/p>\n

I think the mark of the Beast somehow plays into that. At the very least it is an initiation where man rejects the true Light and chooses to become the image bearers of Satan. The lie may be that you can become like the Beast if you identify with him through the “mark”. It will probably be packaged as a great evolutionary step forward where mankind can become near deity while still in their fleshly fallen human nature by some genetic manipulation or by becoming trans-human.<\/strong> In other words, the deception might be the belief that man can become like God without first dispelling the darkness by putting on the light of Christ.<\/p>\n

At the end of the age, all the powers of darkness will lead all people that are still in darkness to rebel against the true Light of the world when He comes. All the sons of pride will believe the lying signs and wonders that will be display to them. They will believe that Satan is God. They will be told that through his power he will save them from the wrathful Jehovah God of heaven.<\/p>\n

I think at least part of the lying signs and wonders will be claims from these demonic beings that they came from another world or dimension to help man to evolve to become part of the collective universal consciousness and to save them from the forces of a hostile alien Jewish Race led by Jehovah. This is a core belief of pagan New Age teaching and there are such extraterrestrial theories in the UFO cult.<\/p>\n

Lies rooted in the “science of evolution” and New Age\/New Spiritualism pantheism provides the legs for progressive lies that bring mankind to rebel against the true God of heaven. The claim will be that humans are evolved creatures that now needs to\u00a0 be guided by more evolved enlightened beings so mankind can reach their full evolutionary potential.<\/p>\n

So is it any wonder that the world’s progressive agenda for those that reject any message of redemption from the Creator is to act out the nature of demonic rebellious beasts?<\/p>\n

God said that this would happen to unregenerate mankind in Romans chapter 1, 2nd Peter chapter 1, and Jude chapter 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rom 1:21\u00a0 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.<\/em>
\n22\u00a0 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,<\/em>
\n23\u00a0 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.<\/strong><\/em>
\n24\u00a0 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:<\/em><\/strong>
\n25\u00a0 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator<\/strong>, who is blessed for ever. Amen.<\/em>
\n26\u00a0 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:<\/em>

So here is the point. The Bible says that evil people will wax worse and worse and that people would act like brute beasts in the last days and now we see that the progressive agenda of the demonic is bringing mankind to do just that.<\/p>\n

Human’s not born from above by the Lord are more and more acting like mad rabid animals. That is now being reflected throughout society and even by some who claim to be in Christ or Christianity but practice:<\/p>\n
