America is so divided on ideology that I do not see how it can remain one nation much longer. By 2013, no matter who is elected as President, almost half the nation will be so against the other half and those in power, that I believe there will be mass disobedience and violence.<\/p>\n
I don’t think I need to explain the differences between the worldviews of liberals and conservatives, or Christian true believers and social Christians and non believers. Even Abraham and Lot who were two men of God had to split company because of squabbles between their many servants. How much more so will people in nations that have different worldviews and nothing in common, also need to split?<\/p>\n
Lot chose the plain cities to settle and Abraham was satisfied with the rural high country. Lot had a progressive worldview and Abraham was a conservative. Those with Lot went to the big cities and they got caught up in the evil perverted ways of the local natives. God eventually destroyed the whole lot of them when they became psychopathic sex predators (the sex predators probably were also qualifying for disability compensation entitlements like the pedophiles in Greece today).<\/p>\n
I am sure righteous Lot was trying to witness to the people of Sodom but they rejected all reason and started the first “occupy” the city square movement. Soon those that were running the city also gave them a free license to rape anyone that entered their domain. Lusts are never satisfied and\u00a0 permissiveness enables it.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Abraham lived in less “progressive” rural areas and prospered and even interceded for Lot on more than one occasion. How many times have rural Christians and conservatives bailed out populated areas hit by natural disaster? Abraham had to rescue Lot in war and it is also mostly rural people who are fighting the wars for America.<\/p>\n
It’s not a perfect analogy for sure, but you have to admit that most of those that live in rural areas are God-fearing and most of\u00a0 those in most big cities just do whatever is right in their own eyes and whatever they can get away with – and even when it is not right in anyone’s eyes (they think it is only wrong if they get caught).<\/p>\n
The different worldviews and locations are a perfect scenario for guerrilla warfare where the tyrannical leader temporarily holds the cities with superior forces but the rural areas are controlled by a guerrilla resistance movement. How many times have we already seen this scenario play out in the world? It is happening as I speak, in several areas of the world.<\/p>\n
The fact is that no solution from government will work in a country so divided by class warfare. Government made laws have enabled almost half of the people in this nation to become government dependents. The other non dependents create wealth by working but they are fed up with paying the expenses of government dependents. Our government is still spending nearly twice what it takes in and the economy is not going to recover until they have a balanced budget and write off or inflate away much of the national debt. Government overspending and the increasing debt load will not allow any significant recovery to occur.<\/p>\n
If Obama and company win the 2012 election they are going to continue destroying this nation and then resistance to his tyrannical rule becomes predictable.<\/p>\n
If a true Conservative is elected and they try to save the Republic through huge cuts in entitlements, the dependent class in the cities are sure to turn to violence and looting. If the administration then sends in troops to try to stop the violence you will see Iraq playing out right here in our own cities. If the administration relents and gives the dependent class what they demand, the only recourse is much higher taxes and a resultant economic depression. Then you will see organized resistance\u00a0 from conservatives living in the rural areas of the country.<\/p>\n
There probably is only one way to prevent the coming civil upheavals and that is to agree to form two or more separate Unions. One Union would remain under the present Constitution, and the other or others, would form a constitutional convention to write the laws for their own Union.<\/p>\n
So how do you split up a nation when there are no common borders to split? How do you think this can be achieved peacefully? Should states and counties help people to relocate to their area, or is there some other way? Even if we could split the nation how do you go about splitting the national burdens and benefits? It seems like an insurmountable problem, so I guess there will have to be another civil war instead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
