I posted this article because this man does have a track record as a futurist and has been right\u00a0about prior national crashes. He is not a prophet.<\/p>\n

Basically He says that the US is toast and that within two years the dollar will be worth ten percent of what it is today.\u00a0 He does not think that things will go well for those living in big cities of the United States.<\/p>\n

The problem with what he is says is that it might come true. If the crash of the US does not happen this year as Celente predicts the house of cards will still fall at some point in the not to distant future. Right now they are keeping it all\u00a0up with smoke and mirrors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nthe Trends Research Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, predicted the 1987 stock market
\ncrash, the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989, the Asian economic implosion of
\n\u201897, the decline of the dollar beginning in 2005, the meteoric rise in gold
\nprices in an age of currency volatility, and the turn of events that may be the
\nblessing of our era, the subprime mortgage crisis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
C<\/span>elente projects economic and political crisis in the coming
\nyear. \u201cIn 2008, Americans will wake up to the worst economic times that anyone
\nalive has ever seen,\u201d he wrote on December 17. \u201cJust as they didn\u2019t see 9\/11
\ncoming and were frozen in shock when terror struck, [Americans] will be frozen
\nin shock when terror strikes again.\u201d He predicts \u201cfailing banks, busted
\nbrokerages, toppled corporate giants, bankrupt cities, states in default,
\nforeign creditors cashing out of US securities\u2026the stage is set, the big one is
