I came across this excellent article today about “The Roots and Fruits of the New Apostolic Reformation”, by Bob De Waay. It is about how the Latter Rain movement morphed into the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).<\/p>\n

Christians need to know the truth about these self appointed anointed and other Christians need to separate from these leaders bringing them into\u00a0Apostasy.<\/p>\n

One thing I have found out for myself over the years is that when certain leaders claim Apostolic positions and special prophetic anointing from God they are always lying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This article explores the idea of apostles in the church throughout church
\nhistory. In it I will show that the restoration\/Latter Rain idea that fuels the
\nNew Apostolic Reformation (NAR) is unbiblical and dangerous to the well-being of
\nChristians who become part of it. First we will review how the early church
\nunderstood apostles in church history. Then we will examine the Roman Catholic
\nChurch\u2019s teaching about apostolic authority. From there we will examine the
\nideas of a 17th-century mystic given new life in the Latter Rain movement, and
\nnow the NAR.<\/p>\n

At a 1996 Fuller Seminary conference hosted by C. Peter Wagner, a movement
\nthat Wagner previously labeled \u201cpost-denominational\u201d became the New Apostolic
\nReformation.<\/a> <\/sup> Besides Wagner himself is another person prominent in
\nthe movement\u2014Bill Hamon\u2014who is strongly endorsed by Wagner. Hamon is important,
\nas we will see, because his ministry goes all the way back to the early 1950\u2019s
\nand began on the heels of the Latter Rain Movement.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
