The root of America’s problem is its evolutionary worldview

America has been taken over by ideologues of the radical left that very much identify with socialist Communism or Fascism. They can also be defined as statists. They believe that big government controlled by elite “more evolved” individuals with a secular humanist socialistic worldview is the only hope for humanity to have any hope for survival as a species. They would be correct if there were no God, however, there is a God, and He is fully in control of human destiny. The evolutionary worldview is the root of the problems in America.

These secular humanist socialists are practicable atheists. They might give lip service to God but they are always found in opposition to His teachings.… continue reading

There but for the grace of God even true believers fail

I think we Christians often forget that we had nothing to do with our own salvation. It is all by God’s grace that we heard the gospel message at all. We then believed and turned to Jesus to save us from our sins. Many Christians will say they also believe that we did nothing worthy to get saved, but then some will turn down their nose at those living in sin that never had an opportunity to clearly hear the Gospel.

The old statement, “there but for the grace of God go I” when we encounter a person living in a worldly or unfortunate lifestyle is just the plain truth.… continue reading

Many calling themselves Christian join a Revelation Harlot

Most people who claim to be Christians in this postmodern generation say they follow Christ. However, their world views and beliefs display that the Christ that they claim to believe in, is not the Jesus Christ that the Bible defines. These pseudo Christians have worldly humanistic world views. They do not have a biblical Christian worldview. They are usually found on the wrong side of most moral and biblical positions.

Christianity is just a religion that they were brought up in or talked into. They follow teachings of religious men, but do not follow the teachings of God. They do not even know what God said, because they show little interest in learning the Bible at all.… continue reading

Aww…Poor God!

Some claiming to be among Christianity would have us think that the universe that God spoke into existence for His own purpose is not really under His control. They have a God that dwells in creation wringing His figurative hands just hoping that someone will love Him and be His friend. Aww…poor God!

Although many “Christians” may deny that they see God in the above terms, their theology and what they say about God indicates otherwise. I will give a few examples but it certainly will not be all-inclusive because this anemic concept of God is exceedingly widespread and is subtly interwoven in “Christian” concepts about their Creator.… continue reading

2Th 2:3 and other teachings of Paul indicate pretrib Rapture

Those crusading against the pretribulation Rapture really need to get a life because their arguments do not have a biblical leg to stand on. Every week I get emails or comments from some crusader wanting to inform me that the Bible does not teach a pretrib Rapture. They tell me that my pretrib Rapture teaching will send people to hell, so I need to repent of my teaching or I will be going to hell myself.

They make the unfounded claim that those teaching a pretrib Rapture are leading Christian people to hell because they think that many Christians that were expecting to be taken in the pretrib Rapture will then lose their faith when they find themselves under persecution in the tribulation.… continue reading

Questions and answers at The Prophetic Years website

The Prophetic Years website gets emails that have questions that often address issues that are not addressed on my website and blog or would not be easy to find if I had addressed these issues somewhere. I have selected five such emails below. I did edit them where appropriate so the senders could remain anonymous and for grammatical and subject clarity.

Question:

I’ll try to be brief: Thanks for you website.  I only wish I had more time to spend in it.  It is hard to find trustworthy information and good study material these days.
I’ve been studying and teaching  a small church adult class in II Peter 2 about false prophets and teachers, needless to say, there are so many forms of false prophets today.… continue reading

Modern Bible studies often fall far short of studying the Bible

If you have been a Christian for a few decades and attended Bible studies, one thing that you should have noticed is that Bible studies are not what they used to be. There was a time when Bible studies were actually taught by elder teachers in the congregation. These teachers actually prepared their own well thought-out lessons that were based on knowledge of the Bible and their own understanding of the scriptures. Teaching was a ministry given through spiritually gifted men.

Quite often Bible studies were led by pastors or elder teachers that were formally trained in the Bible. Today, most “Bible studies” are led by facilitators that lead group discussion on passages suggested by expensive quarterly magazines.… continue reading

Charismatics leading others to offer strange fire before the Lord

I had shoulder surgery Friday so I really am not physically or mentally up to doing any long post this week. It all seems to be going well but I think the steroids or something else they used really did a number on my ability to think through issues or even stay awake.

Probably one of the most important issues in Christendom is taking place at Grace Church led by John MacArthur. It is called the Fresh Fire Conference and is getting into all the negative influences that the Charismatic/Pentecostal Movement is having on the modern Church.

Whether you agree with MacArthur that the signs gifts ceased or not, you might want to hear out his arguments against what is taking place in the Charismatic movement under various movement subtitles.… continue reading

Blood moon of Joel and Revelation not about eclipses of 2014 2015

The various end time speculations of 2012 never panned out, so it really should not surprise anyone that a replacement theory would now arise in order to sell new hype to people looking for a tribulation that fits their impatient unrealistic schedule. I am talking about the new hype that the blood moons of 2014 and 2015 could fulfill the blood moon talked about by Joel, and Revelation.

Pastor Mark Biltz of Tacoma Washington first came up with the theory and now Pastor John Hagee is running with the ball with his new book, “Four Blood Moons: Something Is About To Change”.… continue reading

Textus Receptus Devours Alexandrian Family Found at the Vatican

Often people will ask, what is the best Bible translation to use? Bible and translation seems to have become synonymous but keep in mind that unless you read Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic the Bible you read is really a translation of ancient manuscripts that are distant copies of the original autographs. All ancient manuscripts are not equal and all translations of those manuscripts are not equal.

Therefore, in order to know which are the most reliable translations, we first have to know something about the manuscripts that they were translated from. I think I can make some generalizations that may help you decide on a good English translation.… continue reading

Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel of 1217 tips Jack Van Impe on 2017 tribulation

I recently watched two of the latest Jack Van Impe’s TV programs. I probably had not watched his program in almost a decade for a number of reasons. Van Impe fell out of favor with me when he started quoting mystics and pagans to support his end time speculations about how soon the Lord would return. Of course, Jack would always say that he is not setting dates, but then he would go ahead and set an outermost date for the fulfillment of the Rapture. Over the years, Jack Van Impe has proven that he can be wrong on his date speculations.… continue reading

You can know if you are a Christian but don’t deceive yourself either

There seems to be some confusion among Christians on how one is saved. So let me try to clarify what the scriptures teach on this.

We first have to acknowledge that we are talking about the Church since Pentecost and not those believers that lived and died before the New Covenant promise was given at Pentecost. The believers that died before this are also covered by the blood of God’s lamb sacrifice but we are not talking about them because the New Covenant had not yet been given.

To find out how people are saved since Pentecost we only need to go back to the book of Acts.… continue reading

Isaiah 17, Psalm 83, or end of world prophecy won’t occur in 2012

It appears to be a near certainty that NATO will soon get involved in the action in Syria. They will probably get directly involved within a matter of days or a couple of weeks. The United States, France, and Great Britain have aircraft carriers in place and they have thousands of special forces ready to move into Syria to secure the Syrian WMD sites.

Syria was warned about not using WMD but reportedly they have loaded chemical nerve agents into bombs and is now walking on the red line that NATO placed in the sand. NATO is now responding to the deliberate provocation by Assad.… continue reading

Evangelicals and Apostates Together: Warren Osteen and Oprah

Can you imagine any of the Apostles appearing before millions of people but never giving the gospel message to them? Yet, the pastors of two of the largest churches in America, did just that, when appearing on three hours of Oprah’s Lifeclass program.

Forget politicians, the real reason for America’s problems become more evident in the churches Americans go to and the religious leaders that they follow. Evangelical leaders don’t even know what the Christian message is anymore, or else, they cannot or will not express it. I think Joel Osteen, Rick Warren together with Oprah and all their followers represent the real problem in America among those that still identify with Christianity.… continue reading

Big tent dominionism could be blowing in the third awakening wind

Billy Graham announced a 40 day fast and prayer program that starts before the election and that ends on November 7th with a special TV crusade. This is billed as a final warning to America with the hope that it might start a third awakening in America. Billy and other astute Christian leaders see that Judgment is coming if America does not repent. Now new-evangelicals, World of Faith and New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) heretics and Mormons seem to be already piling on this final warning to America bandwagon.

I have to admit that I have to wonder if God is in all the wind, when I see Bible believing evangelicals yoking up with heretics and cults in their calling of America to repentance.… continue reading

Petrus Romanus: an exercise in finding the future in the demonic

In 2009 Tom Horn gave us his theory in his book “Apollyon Rising 2012” that the Antichrist would make himself known between the year 2009 and 2012. Three years later Horn has followed up with a book that has the False Prophet coming to power in late 2012. This book seems designed to complete his theory based on many private mystical and pagan prophecies that the Great Tribulation starts near the end of 2012 and ends in 2016.

Last month I gave a review on Apollyon rising 2012. In brief, I thought that Tom Horn assumes that unregenerate man has power over the spirits that humans do not have, and that Tom Horn gives demonic pagan prophets way to much credit to be able to foretell the future.… continue reading

New evangelicalism usually also means denying Bible inerrancy

I recently read the book “New Evangelicalism“, by Paul Richard Smith, founder of Calvary Chapel Victorville CA. Paul Smith is a leader in the Calvary Chapel movement founded by his brother Chuck Smith, who also wrote the foreword to Paul Smith’s book.

The book gives a brief history of modern Protestantism beginning with modernism where scripture became critically analyzed through the filters of the philosophies of 19th and early 20th century humanist intellectuals. This humanistic intellectual analysis of the scriptures became known as “higher criticism”. I took one of those silly “higher criticism” courses in college myself.

I will give you my own take on modernism; most of what I will say about modernism in Christianity does not come from Paul Smith’s book, but from what I read in his book, I think Paul Smith would agree with most of it.… continue reading

GOP must develop workable agenda to restore the American Republic

Americans now have about 8 months left to turn the direction of this country around or there will be economic collapse, depression and civil war in this country. Those that think business like usual from the GOP will save this Republic from the destructive agenda from those on the hard Left are dead wrong. The hard Left wants to make America conform to world socialism. Americans need to understand what is at stake if the hard Left stays in power. Liberty loving people can either get active in the political war playing out right now or they will experience a real civil war later.… continue reading

Dr. James McGrath: Christians should not expect literal second coming

Dr. James F. McGrath of Butler University teaches courses on New Testament Language and Literature. However, anyone attending his courses really ought to investigate the heretical views that they will be taught at Butler University by professor McGrath.

Dr. James F. McGrath made this statement in bold on his own Exploring Our Matrex Blog:

It does not make sense for Christians to continue to expect a literal “second coming” of Jesus.

I also read online from his very own words that Dr. McGrath claims to be a reformed Christian in the same sense as a Reformed Jew. Reformed Jews are reformed for a reason.… continue reading

Christians of America accept demonic choice for President in 2012?

America claims to have over 80 percent Christians but yet most of them will accept Obama, Romney or Gingrich as their choice for President in 2012? The leaders that Americans are choosing reflects the nation and that is a very sad statement for America. It seems that most Christian conservatives in America talk about electing a Christian conservative but then promote and vote for people under control of the Devil. On the other hand, most of the liberal Christians in America just vote for whoever promises them the most material comforts even if he is the Devil.

At this point in the 2012 election, Americans have the choice between an obvious globalist Marxist, a progressive Mormon cult Bishop, or a manic narcissistic – possibly psychopathic – Third Wave – CFR – statist – globalist – wind bag that changes directions with the breeze.… continue reading
