The Georgian’s are not in a good position. The U.S. really cannot help them. Geographically they simply live where Russia is going to do what they want. I find that this to be a very insightful article about modern day Russia. The article makes it clear that Russia led by Putin and his cronies is going fascist. Putin is certainly capable of fulfilling the role of Gog. Things are not quite ready right now for that prophetic event to occur at this time because the Russian military is still a joke and needs to be rebuilt. That is now Putin’s number one priority. It might take 10 to 20 years for that to happen.
Another significant factor in all this is that Russia’s economy is only thriving because of the high price of gas and oil in the world. Russia’s national wealth is totally dependent on the export of its vast natural resources. That also could be the very reason why Russia marches to the Middle East like Ezekiel says to take a spoil. The day may soon come when a powerful Russia built up with oil and gas money will suddenly see a crash of oil and gas prices. China always goes to extremes and I do not doubt that they will here also. What happens when they take their weather modification programs too far and it impacts the climate of other nations? For example, it might not be hard to cool the earth by releasing certain gases into the ionosphere or certain chemicals in the oceans. Think about where this all might soon lead. Environmental groups think that they know what is best for the rest of us and with backing from governments, blocks of nations or green money they choose to play God with our planet and attempt to modify the climate without total consensus. I can foresee that certain governments in this world will not agree on these climate modification and consider them to be hostile actions against themselves.
