I am studying the feast period between Pentecost, Trumpets and Atonement.  Specifically,  I am presently focusing on the day counts and prophetic implications between Trumpets and Atonement.   
 
Messiah Yeshua fulfilled the Spring feasts to the day.  It seems that the day count ended with Pentecost and that the period between Pentecost and Atonement may be days of years as in the case of Daniel’s 70th week. 
 
There are 10 days between Trumpets and Atonement.  Most expect that Daniel’s 70th week will occur prophetically during these 10 days/years.  Mainstream biblical scholars (pre-trib/millenialists) say that Daniel’s week happens here.

Obama plays one-on-one with Assad but loses control of backboard

I thought that President Obama would order an air strike on Syria as soon as this Labor Day weekend, but as I completed the first draft of this article, President Obama surprised me and announced that he would seek congressional approval before he ordered a strike on Syria. I previously was thinking that Obama would just ignore the Constitution and the Wars Powers Act and just go it alone against President Basher Assad of Syria and that is the reason for my “Obama plays one-on-one with Assad but loses control of backboard” title.

The Satanic world system is rapidly progressing toward Antichrist

With so many people calling themselves “progressives” these days you would think that the progressives would have made some progress over the years but it looks to me like this Satanic world system is now rapidly progressing toward the Antichrist and its own doom.

America is a nation with a Constitution and a Bill of Rights designed to keep individuals free from government tyranny. However, it is obvious that most Americans have now given up these rights for the shackles of socialism and the facade of false security. The year 2012 will probably prove to be the most important year in the recent history of the world. It will be the year that started events on earth that many will desire to forget. I do not believe 2012 will be the start of the last seven years of Bible prophecy; yet, many believers might start to think that the tribulation is upon us. It could get that bad.

A Fourth Reich Roman Empire Revival Fit for a Beast and a Gog Reunion

We may be seeing the start of the Revived Roman Empire taking place before our very eyes. The turmoil in North Africa, Syria, and elsewhere may bring it about. I know many people thought the present EU is the revived Roman Empire but the present EU really does not fit the spatial reality of the Old Roman Empire nor does it have its mothers violent nature.

Here is a map that shows the  extent of the Old Roman Empire. Where there are dates on this map those regions were not part of the Roman Empire at the time of Jesus.

Fourth turning suggests over two decades of world chaos.

I do not totally buy into the “fourth turning” time cycles although the four turnings spoken about in that book do seem to occur about once in a human lifespan. I as well, see a bitter winter coming to our nation and the world in the near future. I think we are about two years away from at least two decades of unparalleled world chaos.

I certainly am not a prophet but I believe we are in the final decades just before the Messianic age and Millennial Kingdom of Yeshua. In fact, I think there will only be three more decades. Sometime before the end of that third decade I think Yeshua (Jesus) will have returned to earth to set up His Millennial kingdom.

I am writing this because I think many Christians today have been misled into thinking that everything must take place within this decade. I think it is much more likely that these events will play out over two to three decades.

Iran: Imminent Revolution or Imminent Bombing?

Like many fellow Bible prophecy students, for a couple of years I took the position that Israel or the United States will bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities “any day now” The bombing in my mind was imminent. If you remember many thought that Bush would do it before the election primaries and then before the election and then before leaving office.  If anyone was going to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities the best time to have done so was before Iran acquired the nuclear know how. However, that did not happen.

The Russians are coming! Pravda is visiting my website.

I have been saying that the Mediterranean Union (MU) will be the actual revived Roman Empire and not the EU alignment that we see today because many of the nations in the EU do not belong in the land area of  the old Roman Empire and others that belong in it are missing from the EU. Some have said I am wrong because the MU idea was recently not well received by certain nations. However, that is changing, it looks like Sorkozy’s MU idea will take root after all.

This exclusive article about the author’s interview with Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel tells me that Netanyahu is not going to allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. There are other problems with allowing Iran to get nuclear weapons besides the threat of a nuclear strike on Israel. Babylon the Great is about to rise.

This article probably has plenty of Bible prophecy significance. Iraq is trying to set up a group of nations like the EU in the Middle East. Many who study Bible prophecy have been saying that Iraq will rise again as a great world center of prosperity in the last days and fulfill the prophecies of Babylon and Babylon the Great. A critique of the book “Isralestine” that suggests that the war of Psalm 83 is imminent

Is the war of Psalm 83 and a enlarged Israel imminent as in the book “Isralestine”?
One of the great mysteries for those who study Bible prophecy is the timing of the wars mentioned in Psalm 83 and the war described in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. They are obviously different wars but which war occurs first and when? Are they pretribulational wars or tribulation wars? How can Israel be living in peace and security prior to the Ezekiel war as the prophecy clearly indicates? That is the ongoing debate.

Bill Salus in his book “Isralestine” offers a solution but the thesis is very difficult to accept in light of real world realities but that does not mean the thesis he offers based on his selection and interpretation of certain scriptures is wrong.… continue reading
