Gerald Celente the world trend forecaster says America is in for a great depression and riots by 2012.
I guess I am not the only one who sees a great depression and an American revolution on the horizon. If world trend forecaster Gerald Celente has this one right and I have no reason to believe that he does not have it right, it all goes downhill from here.

The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions – all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.
Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.
Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation, that there will be a revolution marked by food riots, squatter rebellions, tax revolts and job marches, and that holidays will be more about obtaining food, not gifts
Celente, who successfully predicted the 1997 Asian Currency Crisis, the subprime mortgage collapse and the massive devaluation of the U.S. dollar, told UPI in November last year that the following year would be known as “The Panic of 2008,” adding that “giants (would) tumble to their deaths,” which is exactly what we have witnessed with the collapse of Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and others. He also said that the dollar would eventually be devalued by as much as 90 per cent.

Don what are your thoughts on the pre-tribulation rapture? I know a lot of people are wondering if our new prez is the antichrist. I can see many similarities.
On another hand, a lot of people are predicting he’ll draft us all, and have his personal army/gestapo. And the signs for such are certainly there. However, with people like John Kerry, possibly Hillary Clinton and Colin Powerl (holds 3 positions) in the new cabinet, I don’t think they’re the type who will go along with a draft and a civilian secruity force. Your thoughts?

He is not the Antichrist he is just anti-Christ. When the real thing comes they will call him God. The Beast Antichrist comes form somewhere out of the old Roman Empire area according to Daniel.
In a wider war situation you will be surprised how fast they will all call for a draft and the civilian security force is just following the path suggested by his radical socialist mentor Saul Alinsky . His chief of staff wants 3 months compulsory service for all so they can be brainwashed. Putin is doing much the same thing with his youth core. A socialist youth movement is the easy path to becoming a tyrant just ask Hilter, Stalin and Mao etc.
I think Celente is about right. I do not think there will be a 90 percent devaluation of the dollar. I would say more like 50 percent but by that time they may have a regional or world currency. However if there is an EMP and the lights go out it will be much worse than what Celente said. In any case I think we are in for a depression or a inflationary depression because we have debt that we cannot pay and nations will stop lending to us when we become a poor risk.

I am surprised that no one has seemed to pick up on this blog and atleast comment about Celente. Since discovering Celente (i wish i had several years ago)I have been going through his predictions which seem for the most part to be spot on from what I have heard him say so far and he just nailed another one when just last week the guy who came up with the Hindenburg Omen has noted that we are actually in a 1930′s Depression like economy and he says he is completely out of the market. Celente spoke about officials admitting that we are in a Depression would eventually happen and this was from early 09 I believe. Declining dollar over past nine of more weeks. Housing slump worst in decades. Seems what he has been saying about the stimulis money not only from our own treasury but worldwide is beginning to peeter out and the “GIG is UP” in his words. All this just before mid term elections. Makes one wonder! He predicted Obama for president if the economy went south and McCain if it came to War. We got OB due to the economy crash! I predicted Obama (on gut instinct alone) with or without any conditions one year out. I think he is able to make these trend announcements because he is not afraid to look at the big picture, the attitudes of media and government officials, human nature instead of some who seem to disregard these important factors. It used to be to get a loan from a bank you had to come in face to face with the bank manager, also it helped to have a solid honest reputation because it came down to trust and of course a good business plan to get the funds. Well looking at it from the opposite way as Celente does, this also applies to our elected officials and the media. It comes down to a question of character and trust. Our current moral free fall does not help matters. How in the world will banks ever make another loan or extend credit while this self entitled generation runs amok? My prediction is simple, they won’t! It will take a catastrophe like the one Celente predicts to put THESE people back a few pegs and remind them (us) who is incharge on this planet. Then with hands held out in subserviance to those in control only then will the so-called man made system restart. Maybe this is all pre-trib or not at all. If anything else, he certainly helps one understand these matters.
