The spirit of antichrist and Christian dominionism is alive and well in America.

One of the things I deal with almost everyday are trends in the world and the church and how it all relates to Bible prophecy. I try to be balanced and not join with all those Christians on the fringe who are convinced that there is some Satanic elitist conspiracy to immediately thrust the Antichrist upon us all and fulfill their fantasy of the world ending this decade. The spirit of antichrist is already alive and well in America but the Antichrist figure of Bible prophecy is not coming as soon as some seem to think.

I just do not see the evidence for this imminent Antichrist like some think they do. People thought they had the evidence many times in history. Just in this generation we have had the second coming expectations of the late 1980’s the late 1990’s and now the 2012 cult. The biblical evidence for those prior periods where actually stronger than any evidence presented by the 2012 cult of today. Their claims are subjective at best and they use one subjective theory to support other subjective theory. It becomes circular reasoning and it is not Bible based it really is mostly pagan based suppositions.

With all the Christians in the world that are in every organization you would think that someone could expose this vast conspiracy to take over the world and present it to us in a way that will lead most Christians to believe them. The truth is that if we had such proof we could prevent it from taking place but they never come up with anything worth taking to court. The truth of the matter is that conspiracy teachers are all over the board. They agree on very little other than that there are Satanic initiated conspiracies. Well we already know that there are conspiracies against the sons of light but He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world. One thing that is notable is that most of these conspiracy people are always on the Christian fringe. Most either fellowship nowhere at all or else in small conspiracy minded cells.

The reason many of these are on the fringe of Christianity is because almost everything they build is off the foundation. They have left the foundations of the prophets and the Apostles and are in some off site lab trying to figure out God’s timing and His message about end time events through the actions of world elite bankers, analytical methods and through man’s own reasoning.

They say, lets measure the distance from the Temple to somewhere else on earth for that will reveal hidden knowledge, or lets measure the Pyramid to figure out the time of end time events, or lets look for hidden codes in the Bible to predict the future, or lets even say the Spirit put in the people of Israel in Ezekiel Chapter 37 was already fulfilled even though Israel’s people today are still filled with an antichrist spirit.

The latest antichrist expectation for the over excited is that some Mahdi will come out of well or a Lord Maitreya figure will come fulfilling the expectations of all Religions. Well I have news for Benjamin Creme and his Lord Maitreya. People have been waiting to see your Lord Maitreya appear for quite some time now. Remember, your followers were putting full page adds in national newspaper about his soon appearing several decades ago. So I guess the Lord Maitreya forgot to show up, or did he just fall asleep?

Don’t expect any Mahdi to pop out of a well either and lead Islam to take over the world. That is just another pagan fantasy. There are going to be many disappointed among the 2012 end of the world fanatics when they can find no Mahdi to fight.

Through my own experiences spanning four decades of  following the claims of self anointed prophets and writers with claimed new understandings I now get a little weary of it all. I could fill a dump truck with books written by Christian authors about Bible prophecy that they were ill advised to write. For example, 88 Reasons why the Lord would return in 1988, or Racing toward Judgment, or Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms (that make each chapter in the Psalms fit something that happened in the same year as the chapter number in the twenty century – what a crock), or Revelation 2000, or Armageddon Appointment with Destiny, etc. Now we have the  2012 new crop of useless books and the presumptions TV and radio teachers and false prophets where “Christians” hang on their every word. The reality is that Christians are just wasting their time with most of this stuff. These self appointed prophets and writers have no more knowledge about end times than anyone else. They just know how to write books that will appeal to those looking for a new special revelation.

The Rapture, and the tribulation with its Antichrist is going to happen in God’s timing and I seriously doubt that anyone can possibly know that it will happen in this decade in spite of those teaching this with best intentions.

The end of the worlder’s “Christians” are one side of the coin, on the other side are the leaders in Christianity that are increasingly being yoked with unbelievers in the world. Somehow they think they will make Christianity popular and something to be desired by the world. So they teach a flesh message that pleases the world of flesh still dead in their sins.

They really are soft and sometimes hard dominionists. We have people like Rick Warren and Joel Olsteen adopting the methods of the world because worldly techniques produce worldly measures of success. Nevermind, that there is no gospel of Jesus Christ ever given in all their methodologies and feel good messages. Now we have others joining this “celibate humanity bandwagon”. Forcus on the family seem to be going that way now that they got rid of Dr. Dobbson, as are many others.

Lets be clear. Jesus did not tell us to become like the world and He did not tell us to stop telling the world that people are dead in sin. People still need His salvation. Jesus did not say you can stay in your religion because all religions reflect God. Jesus said, He is the door to God and  nobody comes to the Father except through Him. The gospel is not telling the world they can become prosperous if they practice biblical concepts or humanism. The gospel is not about gaining worldly success and getting your best life now or some purpose driven life for people still dead in their sins. A gospel without a gospel of dying to self and of obtaining spiritual salvation through Jesus Christ is worthless. Those “Christians” that give the illusion that they are ambassadors for Christ without a gospel of salvation are apparently working for a different Kingdom.

The sad state of Christianity in America is evident when a supposed mostly Christian nation freely elects an administration that is hostile toward the teachings of Christ. So now these American “Christians” have been hit in the pocket book because the nation is under judgment so they wag God and country and think the nation will become prosperous again if they just change the leadership. So now it looks like these “Christians” will go from one extreme to another. They will go from electing someone who signs laws and picks aids that are hostile to Christians to wanting to elect someone that believes Word of Faith presumptuous false prophets give messages from God. So will electing dominionst or Christian cult influenced leaders solve the sin problem in the Untied States or will it just further divide the people?  Until “Christians” actually become Christians in this nation and live like Christians and work to convert the lost in this nation, America will remain under judgment and delusion.

The spirit of the antichrist is always within those not living for Christ and it will destroy this nation long before the Antichrist figure of Bible prophecy ever appears in the scene unless America repents and seeks the healing that can only be found in a nation that is actually following Christ.

Franklin Graham gives the gospel with material aid rather than waste God’s resources

No Gravatar

I read an interesting article by Paul Proctor . I am not sure I agree with everything Paul said in his article but I do agree with much of it. The most interesting part of the article is what Franklin Graham said in “The Gathering interview”.

Franklin Graham is someone I highly respect he has been working in the mission field helping people in physical need for a long time and he always brings the gospel of Jesus Christ along with any material aid. That is in stark contrast to those Christian organizations that are working with world organizations to bring aid to the poor and needy but do not present the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you remember, Franklin Graham is also the one who took a lot of heat in the news for telling the truth that the religion of Islam is evil and he still says the same thing. I am sure some will not like what Graham says here as well.

Here are a couple of excepts from the Franklin Graham Interview.

Graham: well if you walk around this hotel, probably ninety percent of the people in this hotel are going to go to Hell: the person serving you, the other hotel guests… so there is an urgency. It’s life or death. It’s Heaven or Hell. …

Many people have lost a lot of money investing in the stock market. Some people lost everything. …I look at investment opportunities related to how to win people to Christ – how a person can invest in such a way [not in regards to] financial return, but how to win people to Christ. There’s only one commandment Jesus gave his disciples, that is: Go into the world and make disciples of all nations. It doesn’t say anything about going into the world to create a Christian culture. It says, “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

We live now in a culture that is anti-Christ. The spirit of anti-Christ is here today. It’s in our government, it’s in Europe, it’s in Asia, it’s in the Arab world, and it’s in China. …The spirit of anti-Christ has permeated the world today. So, how much longer until the anti-Christ himself appears on the world stage? I don’t know. But it’s urgent. We have the opportunity to invest right now in the souls of men and women. That is what’s important.

TG: To what extent do you think Christians should be involved in helping to usher in the kingdom of Heaven now, on Earth? Should we be trying to redeem our culture?

Graham: First of all, the Bible didn’t tell me to do that. I can’t Christianize this culture. The god of this world is Satan – this is his culture. He is the god of this age. I’m to preach the gospel. …. God is calling a people for Himself. I don’t know whom He’s calling, I just have to be faithful and preach.

TG: As you travel the world as president of both the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, what is the main thing you’re hoping to accomplish? How do you want to leave your mark?

Graham: I want to preach the gospel. That’s the main thing. I can feed people all day long. They’ll be a line tomorrow that wants to get fed again. I can provide medicine, hospitals and clinics around the world. There can be tornadoes and earthquakes and we can respond and do all kinds of good work, which is important to do. But if I have not presented the gospel, than I have wasted every opportunity and have squandered my resources. I think for every believer, if you’re not using what God gives you to win people to Christ, you’re squandering His resources.

Missions today means sending somebody for two weeks. It’s going out and staying for a month and then coming back to talk about it at a cocktail party. That’s missions today. But I’m talking about somebody who will give their life to go to a country and absorb themselves into the country – to get to know the culture, the language, and to give their life to that nation for the sake of the cross. We’re not raising missionaries like that or challenging young people like that. …There’s a great need not just around the world, but right here at home to train up another army of young men and women who will go into the world to take the gospel to another generation.

TG: How do we do that?

Graham: Revival. We need revival. Our churches are dead. You have liberalism now that has crept into mainstream evangelicalism. That’s scary.

Full Graham Interview

I just might add that I also think many Christian social aid organizations are squandering their opportunities and wasting the resources given to them by God. The gospel should always be presented with material aid from the Church.

One of the reasons why we do not have full time missionaries is that few people and churches support them. Missionaries that are even associated with well known missionary names have to takes months out of the mission field to raise their own support. Many missionary minded people simply cannot go to the mission field only because they could not raise the required amount of money.

As for those one or two week missionary trips that Franklin mentioned. The people going also have to raise the money to pay for them but far too often people use the trips for some exotic excursion and sometimes tack it unto a personal trip so they can take a tax break on the airfare.

I think the trips where a group from a church goes to third world nations to build a small building hardly qualifies as missionary work. They are going to socialize or boast about what they did or appease their religious self guilt quota. If the people taking these kinds of “mission trips” really cared they could just sent the money to the church that they are supposedly helping and the unemployed natives would have jobs and a mission complex could be built with the money instead of just one small building. It never made sense to me for a bunch of rich Americans to go down to a third world nation like Hatti to build a church building for them when everyone in Hatti can’t find work. It seems the richer the people in our churches the more they want to do manual labor for third world natives instead of providing the funds so the natives can do the work themselves.

It is worth noting that Franklin Graham is also one of the relatively few that are aware of the end times that we live in. He obviously thinks that since the spirit of anti-Christ is now everywhere that this also means the conditions for the rise of the Antichrist figure of Bible prophecy is also very near. The spirit of anti-Christ is even in many of the evangelical churches.

I do hope Christian’s will support Samaritans Purse, it is a first class Christian outfit with a first class astute Christian leader in charge.

True Evangelicals become Latter Day Philadelphians?

No Gravatar

I think the ELCA vote to allow active homosexuals to become ministers was finally the straw that broke the camel’s back  for me. I will no longer identify with what is today called the Evangelical movement.

Lets face it Satan first came in with his wolves in sheep’s clothing and so corrupted the mainline denominations with the doctrines of humanism that most true Christian left. Now Satan is well on his way of accomplishing the very same thing with those that identified with the evangelicals  that came out of those near dead Sardis mainline churches.

In reality I think over half of people who call themselves evangelicals today have gone off track and are now running on the road to Laodicea. Their worldviews are not from biblical doctrine because they are playing down Bible doctrine. They love to buy into the psychologies and philosophies of the age and more and more are going off into spiritualism influenced by leaders who knowingly or unknowingly are  in the occult. It is getting so bad that you often cannot tell the difference between the teachings and practices of post-modern evangelicals, World Faith heretics and certain demonic cults.

Even many churches that were once well known as Bible churches have drunk the post-modern Kool-Aid. Are you aware of the conflicts within the Nazarene’s, Baptists, EFree’s, etc. on this issues? It seems to me that many leaders have totally lost their Christian minds or at least their Christian worldview reflects that they do not have the mind of Christ.

Christians that believe the Bible is the only infallible reliable guide for Christian faith and practice and believe that truths taught in the Bible are absolute and that they cannot be twisted so they can be politically correct with the world, cannot continue to identify with these leaders calling themselves “evangelicals”.

So here is my quandary. What do we whom once called ourselves evangelicals now call ourselves? The post-modern evangelicals have split the movement and have now made the term “evangelical” meaningless. Worse yet, these people are now becoming the majority among those who call themselves “Evangelicals.

I have not yet heard a good title to identify those you cannot abide the redefining of Christianity from evangelicals. Some might say just call yourself a Bible believing Christian but that really does not work because they also claim to be be Bible believing Christians even though they twist the words to mean what they want or they pick and chose what part of the Bible they want to believe to support humanistic wordviews.

  • Calling oneself a Christian is not the answer since 90 percent of people that identify with Christianity seem to be Christians in name only.
  • Saying you believe in Christ does not mean much these days since many believe in some concept of Christ make in their own image.
  • Saying your a born again Christian has lost its meaning since most who claim to be born again Christians can not even explain the spiritual concept. Some just think being born again just means they were once baptized in a church.  There is no spiritual change in most to indicate that were ever born again in a spiritual rebirth or that the Holy Spirit indwells them.
  • If you call yourself one who believes in the absolute fundamental beliefs of the Christian faith you will be labeled a  fundamentalist and you mightl also be labeled  a simpleton who checks your brain at the door. Of course that is not true at all but it might not be wise to try to revive a vehicle that Christians already allowed the world to crash and burn.
  • We could call ourselves “the elect” but many that are baptized as infants in liberal churches also claim they are the elect.
  • We can say we are Wheaties, breakfast of champions, but the tares will claim we had a false start.

I know that if we do come up with a new name that Satan will soon try to ruin it. However, I think he may run out of time this time around. I see churches of many different denomination splitting into two camps. I think it will break down this way. There will be those that stay on solid biblical ground and there will be those who stand on the shaky ground of  humanism, spiritualism, subjective theories of men and emotionalism.

So what do we call the people who stand on solid biblical doctrine and truth compared to the others? As far as I am concerned they can keep their “Evangelical” title if they want because they already corrupted that word. We know the correct name for these would be more like “Laodicean Harlot’s for Jesus” but if they are the Harlots for Jesus who are we? I might suggest that we are the Bride and Body of Christ through bethrothal to the King (The two will become one flesh – This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.)

I guess we could call ourselves the Body of Christ but pseudo Christians today also claim to be part of the Body of Christ although they have no blood relationship with Jesus. So I guess that title is not exclusive enough.

What to do? Who knows? I am waiting for someone like you to come up with something. We need a one or two word description that fits and that will catch on with true faithful Christians. Like perhaps “Latter Day Philadelphians“.

What say you?

Christian wordviews in crises

No Gravatar

Brannon Howse believes the Church is losing its youth because the Church no longer teaches biblical Christian worldviews. I have to agree. Parents and churches are avoiding the important issues of our time so children mostly get their worldviews from public schools and the media. The views most people now get are anti-Christian worldviews and that is why we are losing the culture to socialists/humanists. Many parents and churches avoid the issues and do not teach on Christian worldviews because they are totally confused themselves.

Therefore, we are not going to get anywhere in reclaiming a Christian culture in America if all that is taught in churches and our homes is stories about the Bible. Sunday schools have largely failed to influence young people because they do not teach Christian worldviews on the critical issues of our time. Churches, Christian teachers, and parents often are afraid to be seen as being politically incorrect.

The Wordview Weekend Foundation is holding free weekend seminars across this country to try to educate “Christians” in America on critical Christian worldviews. If Christians do not understand biblical views how then can they be salt and light to the world? We have seen what happens in history when immoral worldviews are allowed to take over a culture. Anyone can see that this is now rapidly happening in America. We once had a Christian culture in America but now the brainwashing coming from the politically correct humanist/socialist world system is changing all that. Soon Christian worldviews will not even be allowed to be taught. Christians in America must reverse this trend or persecution is certain.

As important as this biblical worldview and apologetics training ministry is they are not getting much help from churches that even call themselves Evangelicals for the reasons stated in the article. If the worldview of Christians becomes the same as the world then how can we be salt and light to the world? When the Church is no longer salt and light it has lost its purpose for being on this earth.

You can make a difference and this article will tell you how.
Below are a few key points from the many excellent points in the full article.

We Must Reclaim the Church Before We Can Even Begin to Reclaim the Culture

We Must Reclaim the Church
Before We Can Even Begin to Reclaim the Culture

By Brannon Howse

My friend and Worldview Weekend speaker Ken Ham has written an excellent book with Britt Beemer and Todd Hillard entitled, Already Gone: Why your kids will quit church and what you can do to stop it. Ham worked with a professional pollster to survey those who went to church every week or nearly every week and they deliberately polled conservative congregations, not liberal ones. Let me share some highlights from their book that confirm that the church needs to be reclaimed before we even attempt to reclaim the culture.

A mass exodus is underway. Most youth of today will not be coming to church tomorrow. Nationwide polls and denominational reports are showing that the next generation is calling it quits on the traditional church. And it’s not just happening on the nominal fringe; it’s happening at the core of the faith.

· Only 11 percent of those who have left the Church did so during the college years. Almost 90 percent of them were lost in middle school and high school. By the time they got to college they were already gone! About 40 percent are leaving the Church during elementary and middle school years!

· The numbers indicate that Sunday school actually didn’t do anything to help them develop a Christian worldview…The brutal conclusion is that, on the whole, the Sunday school programs of today are statistical failures.

surveys reveal that only 1% of adults have a Biblical worldview, only 51% of our pastors have a Biblical worldview and our teens are leaving the church in huge numbers because of lack of Biblical worldview training.

Many of the churches we talk to do not even understand what it is we are trying to accomplish. They are not familiar with the meaning of worldview or apologetics training.

Some of the churches understand perfectly what we are attempting to accomplish but they tell us we would not be welcome to rent their facility because their once evangelical church now embraces postmodernism, mysticism, rejects the exclusivity of Jesus Christ, the inerrancy of Scripture and most of the essential Christian doctrines.

Even among our truly evangelical, Bible-believing churches, how many churches teach the Biblical worldview for law, science, economics, history, family, social issues, and education? At church do adults or students learn about the lie of global warming, radical environmentalism, socialism, evolution, postmodernism, situational ethics, political correctness, population control, the myth of the separation of church and state, the Biblical worldview for marriage, the Biblical role of men and women and the lie of feminism? Every one of these issues can and must be addressed from the Bible and when we do so, we are not being political, we are making disciples that think and live like Christians.

The window of freedom is closing on America and soon I, and our other speakers, could be prosecuted for the Biblical truth we are teaching. Hate-crime laws would do just this.

Worldview Weekend is training, equipping, and encouraging individuals of all ages that will be just like these men. Our nation needs Christians that will stand up and speak out with the truth of a Biblical worldview even in the face of persecution and prosecution.

By the end of 2009, we will have held almost 50, free Worldview Weekend Rallies just in 2009 alone. These free rallies are on a Friday night, Saturday night, or Sunday night, and they are attended by elementary students, middle-school students, high-school students, college students, adults, and senior adults. You can see our entire fall schedule at www.worldviewweekendrally.com

As we will be explaining in detail at our Worldview Weekend Rallies this fall, the worldview war in America is connected to four major forces; occultism/pagan spirituality, the apostate church, corrupt government/corporate officials and the educational establishment. All four of these groups are aggressively working at the national and international level to accomplish their ultimate goal of global governance as predicted by many New Age writers like Alice Bailey. The Bible predicts this will occur and at this year’s rallies we will look at how God would have us to respond to what is happening at break-neck speed.

Our focus must be on preserving our families and preparing them for what is to come. Our focus must be on evangelism and Biblical discipleship and preparing those that can lead the remnant.

Here is just a sample of some of the topics we will cover at our rallies this fall:

How This Happened to America, Where We Are Going and The Biblical Response; Biblical Prophecies Being Fulfilled That Reveal the Supernatural Nature of God’s Word; How This Can Be The Greatest Hour For the American Church; How to Prepare Committed Christians For What is Coming; The Worldviews and People Destroying America From the Grave and How Every Teen and Adult Must Respond To Be Protected; Refuting Evolution; What Happened to the Dinosaurs; The Impact of Evolution on America; Political Correctness is Cultural Marxism; What the Bible Has to Say About The Coming One-World Religion, One-World Economy and Global Governance. How to Contend for the Faith in the 21st Century; Why Oprah’s Pagan Spirituality is Doubling in America Every Eighteen Months and a Christian Response; Why Worldview Training Matters and Students Want it and much more.

The gospel of Rick Warren calls for a coalition of faith?

No Gravatar

The gospel according to Rick Warren is to establish a coalition of faith with unbelievers. That is what I read according to what he said to the Muslims. Actually the gospel coming from Rick Warren does not even exist, at least for the people who really need to hear the gospel.

Read what Jan Markell thinks about the latest from Rick Warren and his Islamic Society of North America appearance. I am to the point where I do not not think the guy has anything to offer the Church or anyone else. I simply do not know why Christians call him their pastor, buy his sermons or read his incredible line of baloney. Rick Warren is a creation of the media because he rubs elbows with billionaires and CFR people. It is perhaps time that serious Christians take Rick Warren out of their vocabulary. It seems to me and Jan that Rick Warren is only going to lead people into the harlot one world religion described in Revelation.

An Open Letter to Pastor Rick Warren

Rick Warren told his Islamic audience, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA,) that he envisions “a coalition of faith.” Whether Pastor Warren knows this or not, this is just another term for the coming one-world religion outlined in Revelation 13. It is further outlined in Revelation 17.

America is on the wrong track because the lights are out.

No Gravatar

America is heading for a train wreck sure enough because the lights are out at the switch yard and America is traveling the wrong way on a one way track. The train wreck now seems inevitable unless someone turns on the lights so America sees the signs and quickly reverses direction.

If the light from God’s people are hidden under a bushel they cannot cast out the darkness. Some pastors and leaders in Christianity are the bushels hiding the light. The only way for lights to shine is to get out from under the bushels.

Dave Daubenmire — Turn on the Lights

So, where do we go from here? I don’t think we can do much to limit the damage, but we can begin to prepare now for the clean-up. We must return the light of the Gospel to America’s churches. I say enough, already of the foolishness. America cannot survive any more of the Humanistic gospel, the prosperity gospel, the seeker sensitive gospel, and the emergent gospel. We must return to a Gospel of right and wrong, sin and death, heaven and hell, of judgment and grace.

Judgment must begin in the House of God. It is time to restore the salt and do away with the sugar.

Are you ready to pay the price? Are you ready to stand up for Truth? Are you ready to be a soldier of the Cross? Are you prepared to fight the good fight of faith?

I hear a lot of talk about “taking America back.” It won’t be easy. But if we have any chance at all we must begin by taking Christianity back. We must reclaim our churches and restore our pulpits.

We must demand of our preachers a sin-hating Gospel.

Stop complaining about what we permit. Truth conquers lies, grace trumps judgment, and light destroys darkness.

Are you looking for a better America? Then it is time to turn on the light. Our pastors will never see the light until we turn up the heat. Stop looking for someone else to do the dirty work. Stand up, and speak up.

Light a match. Blow on the coals. Make a spark. Stop waiting on the pulpit to blaze and start a fire in the pew. The only way it can get darker is for the flames to get dimmer.

“It does not take a majority to prevail…but rather an irate, tireless minority, who keep on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” (Samuel Adams)

Dr. David R. Regan lists the main points of struggle between the secular Left and the Judeo-christian Right.

No Gravatar

Dr. David R. Regan has always stood on solid Biblical ground on his positions. This man of God in his article outlines the spiritual and cultural struggle and the divide based on the opposing views of the secular Left and the traditional Judeo-Christian Right. I can assure you that if Dr. Regan is talking about them He believes the differences are a grave danger to America.

In politics the differences between Left and Right becomes as clear as supporting someone like Barny Frank verses a Sarah Palin, in the news media reading WND or CNN, In the entertainment media being influenced by Oprah or Chuck Norris, in the churches attending an Emergent Church relying on shifting sand of esoteric and mystical experiences or attending a church that relies on the Rock solid foundation of biblical doctrine.

Those who call themselves Christians need to know the differences between the worldviews between Left and Right because only one serves Jesus Christ as He is defined in the Bible. The consequence for Christians and this nation are enormous. We are seeing the greatest change toward a socialist secular society in this history of this nation. Even in the American civil war some on both sides found high moral ground for fighting for the cause but in this new American Revolution the moral high ground is clearly on the Right.

This article should put things into proper prospective to any true Christian. If you read it and still think you are a Christian but vote for the Left this Tuesday you might find out why you really believe that you are truly a Christian?

Christian Worldview Network – Brannon Howse – The Struggle Between Left and Right

The Struggle Between Left and Right

The party on the left, the Democrat, wants a secular society with a Socialist economy based on the principle of egalitarianism.

The party on the right, the Republican, desires to hold to a society grounded in Judeo-Christian principles and Capitalism, based on the principle of equal opportunity.

With regard to moral values, the left wants to remove religion from the public arena, suppressing it to the privacy of the home. The left desires absolute freedom of abortion, special rights for homosexuals, same-sex marriage, and limitation of conservative freedom of speech through the passage of so-called “hate crime” legislation and the implementation of the “fairness doctrine” in broadcasting. The left is also determined to prohibit the teaching of Creationism as an alternative to Evolution.

The right opposes unlimited abortion and special rights for any group. The right also believes in the freedom to speak out on any issue, trusting that truth will prevail when there is an open market place of ideas.

The left desires to require public education and then use the public school system as a propaganda forum for its secularist agenda. The right believes that parents should have the freedom to educate their children at home, enroll them in private schools, or send them to public schools. And the right believes that a school, whatever its nature, should be a place of education and not propaganda.

The left has a vision of transforming the Supreme Court through the appointment of judges who will interpret the Constitution to mean whatever is convenient for the advancement of a secular, socialist society. The right desires justices who will faithfully interpret the Constitution to mean what the Founding Fathers intended.

In foreign affairs, the left seeks to diffuse nationalism in favor of regional and international integration. The left admires the secular European values produced by the French Revolution. And with regard to national security, the left has placed its hope in diplomacy rather than armaments.

The right believes in preserving the integrity of American values and identity. It believes that a strong military is the nation’s best defense and hope for peace. It resists the multiculturalism that is so attractive to the left.

If the right does not start standing up and speaking out boldly in behalf of Judeo-Christian values, Capitalism, and equality of opportunity, we will soon find ourselves living in a nation like Great Britain. It was once the center of world Christianity. Today, only 7% of Britains attend church in what has become a thoroughly secular, socialistic society where individual freedom is severely curtailed in behalf of “the common good.”

Rick Warren the said Billy Graham of world socialism and religious pluralism brings in harlotry and the Beast

No Gravatar

Its enough to want to make any true missionary of the gospel of Jesus Christ puke. Religious pluralism and world socialism is Rick Warren’s answer for the world not Jesus Christ.

Most “Christians” in this country just do not get it because I am not sure they understand the gospel of Jesus Christ themselves. Christians are told to give the gospel to the whole world so they can die to the bondage of this world and live for Jesus Christ. Instead, people like Rick Warren tell Christians to join with world demonic religions so they can be kept in religious bondage.

This is the number one critical issue in Christianity today. Many who identify themselves as Christians have drank the post-modern pluralistic pragmatic relativism Kool-Aid. They have actually become part of the harlot woman that rides the Beast into power. Notice how subtly the Harlot rides in with human good works but she denies that there is only one Lord. That is why God calls her a Harlot. She played the whore with all the religious of the world to bring in the Beast who will then turn on her and devour her.

Rick Warren=CFR globalism, Religious pluralism=one world harlot religion, Socialism=mans own efforts.

It is time to wake up!

This is not coming from God. That is why those who do not know Jesus Christ so easily embrace Rick Warren.

Spare me, but “Rick Warren says the right things when in Christian company”. So did Jim Jones at first. What is Rick Warren really leading the church into? That should be the real question!
Paul Proctor just wrote an article that goes more into the issues Christians partner with pagans for a better world. I did not known that Richard Land of the SBC was also in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). What a fine worldly globalist outfit these “Christian” leaders are yoked up with.

Eboo Patel: Rick Warren, Interfaith Activist – On Faith at washingtonpost.com

Rick Warren is our new Billy Graham – at the center of not only his own Christian tradition, but of American civil religion as well. Churches follows his direction (most recently into Rwanda), and political candidates seek his blessing (Exhibit A: The Saddleback Forum).

There has been a lot of talk about the risks that Warren has taken – inviting the pro-choice Obama to address a decidedly pro-life gathering on the topic of AIDS, for example.

Another risk he is taking – more subtle, perhaps, but equally profound – is around religious diversity.

Last week at the Clinton Global Initiative, Warren was asked how “the church” could help to solve poverty. His response was to rattle off the numbers of Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians in the world – in that order – and make a plea that the public and private sectors take seriously “the faith sector as the third leg of the stool of successful development”.

Warren consistently used the language of a religious pluralist. He spoke of “mosques, temples and churches” as central to the life of villages in the developing world. He underscored the fact that there are huge numbers of people of faith in the world, and huge numbers of houses of worship in places where clinics, banks and schools don’t exist. Those people of faith can be trained to be the arms and legs of any development plan, and those houses of worship can double as clinics, banks and schools.

Enough is enough, throw the Episcopal bums out of the Church. What would Paul do (WWPD)?

No Gravatar

Would someone please remove the Episcopal Church from the list of Christian denominations. What is left of this apostate church supports everything that is opposed to biblical teaching. Seems to me that they should now be listed as a cult and any Episcopal Church that does not agree with their anti-Christ, anti-Israel and leftist amoral socialistic agenda should depart from them. Enough is enough, throw the Episcopal bums out of the Church. What would Paul do? (WWPD).

Episcopal bishops join effort against Prop. 8 (OneNewsNow.com)

SACRAMENTO – The Episcopal Church in California is taking up arms against Proposition 8, an amendment that would change the California constitution to preserve the integrity of marriage as being between one man and one woman. In the process the U.S. branch of the Anglican Communion is clashing with a huge interfaith coalition, including Christians, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Hindus and Sikhs, which is simultaneously launching a campaign to promote the proposition.

the bishops of the Episcopal Church in California have joined the ranks of those working against Proposition 8. All six bishops in the state will officially protest the traditional marriage amendment, according to the Sacramento Bee. The Right Rev. Marc Handley Andrus, Episcopal Bishop of California, held a press conference at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral on Wednesday to represent the church’s position, “calling for compassion, love and equal protections” for homosexual couples.

Rev. Andrus will be joined by the Right Rev. Steven Charleston, Assisting Bishop of California, the Right Rev. Barry Beisner, Episcopal Bishop of Northern California, as well as other California Episcopal bishops, clerics and laypeople. Rev. Charleston, when asked whether he would yield to a call from the leaders of the worldwide Anglican Communion to return to traditional marriage values, said that he “would accept schism” rather than abandon the homosexual agenda.

In contrast, a large number of faith communities in California have publicly united in avid support of Proposition 8, and are warning voters that the continued dominance of homosexual “rights” in California law will inevitably lead to the marginalization of religious rights. The Orthodox Union (O.U.), one of the largest Orthodox Jewish organizations in the United States, points out that what appears to be freedom for homosexuals in fact means that religious people will ultimately incur the penalty of law for voicing any public opposition to the homosexualist agenda. “Religious institutions and people face charges of bigotry and could be denied government funding and more if same-sex marriage becomes the law of the land,” said the O.U. in a statement.

The California Episcopal Church’s unified effort to hoist the banner of homosexual “rights” marks the further dissolution of the worldwide Anglican Communion, which has continued to fracture under the pressure of liberal and conservative bishops vying for the helm of the Anglican faith, causing congregations to dwindle. The growing strife over such issues caused Archbishop Peter Akinola, the Primate of Nigeria, to conclude at the Global Anglican Future Conference that “There is no longer any hope, therefore, for a unified Communion.”

Coach Dave Daubenmire chides Rick Warren for using the wrong playbook

No Gravatar

I was waiting for someone to go on the biblical offensive and get it right about the political forum at Saddleback led be pastor Rick Warren. Coach Dave Daubenmire single handed takes out the whole defensive line of Rick Warren in this article. The Coach really defines in this article the whole problem with this superstar and his whole team.

All I heard from most Evangelical leaders was how great this political forum was but few mentioned that “America’s Pastor” is not even using the Christian playbook, he is using the playbook of the losing team. What gospel was heard from “America’s Pastor”? The gospel of which politician has the best band-aids to fix a nation already condemned without Christ?

To prove once again the weakness of this New Evangelical offense, Rick Warren again gets the opportunity to go on Larry King and again misses the opportunity to share the Gospel to anyone, but Bill Maher goes on Larry King and he fully explains quite aptly to the whole world why he mocks Christianity. Where is the Christian witness of America’s CFR superstar pastor on these world platforms he is given? Where is the call of the nation to repentance? Where is the call to reject evil and to turn to Christ? Is anyone getting this?

Couch Daubenmire skillfully explains in this article how sin causes the aids, the poverty, the abortions and the other social problems in the world. Deal with the sin and you will cure the social problems. Treating the symptoms of what evil produces is not going to fix the world. Some Christians have got their worldly cart before the heavenly white horse rider? Read the article, if you still don’t get it you may be one reason why Rick Warren is still “America’s Pastor”.

Dave Daubenmire — Does Evil Exist?

That was the defining question asked by Pastor Rick Warren at his “Christian” forum the other night.

Even though both candidates disagreed on how evil should be dealt with, both McCain and Obama made it clear that they believe there is such a force.

Seeing how this was a debate involving self-proclaimed Christians, in a Christian church, hosted by a Christian pastor, this was a great opportunity for America’s leading evangelical to define for all America the root cause of our nation’s problems.

Instead, Pastor Warren moved on to climate change, adoption, and other peripheral issues. Perhaps I am wrong, but I would expect “America’s Pastor” to handle the debate in a manner that would reflect the attitude of the Berean Christians who “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Sadly, Pastor Warren looked more like Tom Brokaw than John the Baptist.

How could a Christian pastor not more aggressively defend the Cross? Why are CNN, Time Magazine and the God-hating media fawning over this “evangelical” pastor? Could it be that they love his non-judgmental form of Christianity? Are you aware that Rick Warren is drifting towards an affiliation with “the religious left.” From a political perspective, “left” usually is a synonym for “liberal” or “socialist”, while “right” refers to “conservatives” or “capitalist.” The “left” believes that government is the answer to most of America’s problems, while the “right” believes that government IS the problem.

Government is replacing God and Pastor Warren is leading God’s ouster. The same group that loves to scream “separation of church and state” wants the government to determine morality. Abortion is moral, global warming is immoral. Homosexual sex is moral, lack of AIDS funding is immoral. Shacking up is moral, failure by taxpayers to pay for fatherless children is immoral. Failure to drill for oil is moral, driving a car is immoral.

The religious left wants to treat the symptoms. Our pastors should be fighting to eliminating the cause.

Monday night Rick Warren was on with Larry King. Once again he failed to clearly share the Gospel. Larry King is lost. If I were on his show I would tell him so. I would pin him down. I would make him uncomfortable. He is heading towards a future without God. He would never invite me on the show again. Maybe that’s why Warren swallowed his tongue. The fear of man is a snare…

Last night the God-mocking Bill Maher was Larry’s guest. He made fun of God. He poked fun at Christianity. He is a radical fundamental secularist. He wants God driven from America. He wasn’t worried about offending anyone. He is proud of his agnosticism.

Maher was prouder of his lies than Warren was of God’s Truth. For an hour Maher preached the foolishness of Jesus.

Warren spoke of global warming, AIDS, and adoption. He failed to mention sin. He never talked about the need for repentance and redemption He speaks only of treating symptoms.

Maher thinks Christianity is evil. He doesn’t believe in sin. Warren believes in sin, he just doesn’t think it is evil.

Evil exists alright. The problem we face is how to recognize it. Sadly, before the whole world Warren came up empty. He hid the Light under the bushel of politics.

Sometimes I wonder who the real enemy is.

Rick Warren’s “interfaith” social plans show lack of Christian discernment

No Gravatar

I gave Rick Warren a pass on his short OneNewsNow.com statement. However, I knew I should have said something. Paul Proctor did take the time to address what Rick Warren said and I am glad that he brought up the Matthew chapter 10 issue. Rick Warren quoted Matthew chapter 10 as his justification for his interfaith efforts. Proctor makes it quite clear that Warren is taking Matthew 10 out of proper context in order to accomplish a pluralistic interfaith social agenda that any true understanding of the Bible does not allow.

Rick Warren will never get it because his worldview is all wrong. He has a worldly globalist agenda and that is why he is a member of CFR. He does not get the role of the Church in the world and he does not get it that Christians cannot make joint interfaith efforts with unbelievers on social issues without those efforts coming with world strings attached. Not to even mention that some of the social efforts the world pushes and Warren agrees with are actually harmful to man.

The strings that come attached with interfaith efforts is that salvation through Jesus Christ alone, cannot be preached. So they unite on social temporal issues of the flesh but spiritual eternal issues of the soul never get out to the world. This is a compromise the Church is forbidden to make and those making it show complete lack of Christian discernment. I don’t know why any biblical group of people would consider following such worldly leadership. Read Paul Proctor’s complete article by clicking on the link below and make your own judgment. As you see I have already made mine.

Paul Proctor — Rick Warren Still Doesn’t Get It

They are distinctly different agendas given to distinctly different groups of participants at distinctly different times in history for distinctly different purposes.

Pastor Warren is reportedly gathering bodies – any willing bodies – to help him “cure societal problems” for the “common good.”

Jesus Christ, on the other hand, is gathering saved souls to a Kingdom not of this world for God’s Glory.

Big difference…

Furthermore, in Matthew 10, Jesus empowered and commanded his disciples to go specifically to the “lost sheep of Israel” to cast out demons, raise the dead, miraculously heal sickness and disease and preach to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand – meaning salvation had come – not go and “cure societal problems.”

It was to supernaturally demonstrate that prophecy had been fulfilled before the eyes of those who knew and understood it – that their long-awaited Savior had finally arrived. Jesus was sending His disciples out at that particular time, not to the Gentiles, nor to the Samaritans, but to Jews only who knew and understood the scriptures of old and were looking for His coming.

Jesus did not send out just anyone who was willing to tag along to help “cure societal problems.”

So all the healing, casting out of demons and raising of the dead was to reveal God’s miraculous power and presence. All Warren will be demonstrating with his ragtag roundup is man’s power and presence – meaning his global shindig is just another brotherhood of man campaign designed to bring everyone together under the big tent of tolerance, diversity and unity where certain absolutes and convictions from scripture will be left at the door in order to keep the P.E.A.C.E.

And just how does that glorify Almighty God or His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, Who said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”?

It doesn’t.

“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds” – 2nd John 1: 9-11

That means we don’t go into ministry with them either.

When the Christian church partners with Muslims, Mormons, Buddhists and atheists for a so-called “ministry,” God is not glorified in the least because He will not share His glory with other gods.

Did Jesus attempt to send out representatives from other religions and philosophies with His disciples in the 10th chapter of Matthew to help them with demonic spirits, miraculous healing, raising the dead and preaching?

Of course not!

Then why is Rick Warren trying to “unequally yoke” various world religions and even atheists into a social gospel “ministry” of good works?

Or, is he expecting them to help Christians proclaim Jesus Christ as the only way to eternal life?

If Pastor Warren is looking for some scripture reference to validate his Global P.E.A.C.E. Plan and upcoming sheep and goat gala, he’d better look somewhere other than Matthew Chapter 10.

Rick Warren there can be no P.E.A.C.E. while the world is dead in Sin

No Gravatar

What Rick Warren, the New Evangelicals and friends are doing is thinking that if religious people of the world come together they can solve the social problems of the world. There is no such concept in the scriptures. In fact scripture warns against uniting in common purpose with unbelievers.

There would be no issue at all if along with the aid Warren was actually giving the gospel of salvation to the world. However, he cannot do that and be part of an interfaith effort. They will not let him. By joining with all these antichirst religious he in effect gives them validity and is saying that it does not matter what you believe as long as we all do “good” social works. These people are under the delusion that they will make a better world together through the good works of man’s religions. No you will not!

The problem is sin. We are in a dead world alienated from God and until you deal with that issue and give the remedy for world sin, the best P.E.A.C.E. effort of man will just prop up the living dead. Meanwhile, you may have done a great social effort in the eyes of the fallen world but you did nothing to fulfill the great commission that the Lord gave you. In fact you just confused the issue and presented a false gospel by validating other religions that have no solution to the sin problem. It is amazing how anti christian concepts can now be subtly packaged in popular socialism so that few Christian’s will dare oppose it.

Is Rick Warren ignoring sin in search for ‘peace’? (OneNewsNow.com)

Pastor Warren will be hosting an interfaith meeting next month with 30 Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders “to discuss cooperation for the common good of all Americans.” Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. plan mobilizes churches to address global problems. But McMahon, president of The Berean Call ministry, says the popular Christian author is introducing evangelical Christianity to the social gospel that he learned from his mentor, social scientist Peter Drucker.

he’s working on the symptoms and avoiding the root cause, which is the sin nature of humanity. So how can you work with all kinds of people [who are] called ‘people of faith,’ but it’s not biblical faith?”

McMahon contends that only the biblical gospel can change the heart of man, and that Warren is compromising that by working with people who reject the gospel of Christ.

The World Council of Churches and tyrants.

No Gravatar

Make no mistake about it. The World Council of Churches is a really demented Marxist outfit. There is nothing Christian about them. They are on the wrong side of every moral and political issue. They never seen a tyrant they could not kiss up to and North Korean tyrant Kim Jong II who murders Christians is just their kind of man. Any Church that gives aid to the WCC needs very serious spiritual help.

FrontPage Magazine

Naturally, the World Council of Churches, which never found a Marxist tyranny it could not warmly coddle, much preferred South Korea’s previous “Sunshine” policy, which funneled endless aid into North Korean coffers without reciprocity. South Korea’s cash strewn detente with Kim Jong Il further enriched the dictator and his infamous military/police apparatus.

The WCC, which never expresses a peep about North Korea’s brutal police state, is quite concerned about South Korea’s new expectation of reciprocity from North Korea, instead of just endless, cost-free bribes. So soon to retire WCC chief Samuel Kobia has implored President Lee to reconsider.

“Your Excellency, we see this shift in South Korea’s policy toward North Korea as potentially hindering the efforts for peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula,” Kobia wrote Lee in a July 1 letter. “ It is in this context, on behalf of the World Council of Churches and its member constituencies all over the world, that I urge you to take all possible measures to avoid any deterioration of inter-Korean relations.”

Kobia observed to President Lee that he WCC has been “monitoring” the Korean Peninsula for several decades. By “monitoring,” Kobia means that the WCC has tirelessly advocated full U.S. withdrawal from South Korea and reunification with North Korea, while ignoring the seeming inconsequentiality that North Korea is ruled by a deranged tyrant who alternates between starving and brutalizing his suffering population. The WCC prefers to ignore North Korea’s impoverishing communism and militarism as the root cause of the Koreas’ division, preferring instead to blame the U.S. and its allies in South Korea.

Obama’s own words tell us why he is not a true Christian

No Gravatar

Anyone who reads this will know what Obama is not. By the words coming from his own mouth Obama could not be a Christian. I say let the man speak for himself!

Barack Obama—the Muslim Christian? – CWN

So who, exactly, is Barack Obama? It’s only fair to let the man speak for himself: (Click link above)

Summery:

And so, my friends and associates, that is the gospel according to Barack Obama. Senator Obama believes you can be a Christian and not believe in the biblical Jesus Christ. He believes you can support homosexuality—including civil marriages and adoptions—and still be a follower of Jesus Christ. Barack Obama believes the taking of innocent life in the form of an unborn child is acceptable under most circumstances. He believes there is more than one way to God. He has never publicly renounced the Prophet Mohammed. This is the “Christianity” of Barack Obama, who seems to think he can take historic theology and spin it like cotton candy.

But the bottom line in life is that words have specific meanings. A heart is a heart—it can never be a lung. Definition is the foundation of logic, and logic fuels a rational society. Barack Obama may use and abuse the name “Christian,” but as long as he rejects the biblical definition of Christianity, he can never be one.

Obama distorts biblical views simply because not being a Christian he really does not know them.

No Gravatar

I do not think Obama actually knows the distinctions between the Old Testament codes and the New Covenant reality. Any Christian that knows the beliefs of Obama should know that he is not truly a Christian. How could a Black liberation theology social gospel “Christian” understand that the Church is not under the laws of the Old Testament? He just throws the whole Bible together not understanding the distictions between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant and then he uses staw-man arguments when real Christians have no such concepts as he suggests.

For him to ask which Christianity is true James Dobson’s or Al Sharpton’s says wonders and is a no brainer? It distinctly shows Obama’s total ignorance of Christian issues. James Dobson’s believes mans’s salvation comes by Grace through faith and his authority is the scriptures. While Al Sharpton’s Christianity is based on social activism that saves no one. One teaches new Testament Christianity and the other teaches secular socalism and race baiting.

Once again why would Obama know this. He is not a Christian and any Christian deluding theirself because they want a “yes we can” man and “change” artist need to examine themselves to find out if they are in the faith. If elected, Obama will do everything he can to make all believe that there are many paths to God even if he has to do it through hate speech laws.

McCain is not much beter. I am still waiting for anyone that can be endorced by Bible believers. Be it third party or whatever.

Dobson: Obama ‘Distorting’ Bible, Pushing ‘Fruitcake Interpretation’ of Constitution – America’s Election HQ

“Even if we did have only Christians in our midst, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, whose Christianity would we teach in the schools?” Obama said. “Would we go with James Dobson’s or Al Sharpton’s?” referring to the civil rights leader.

Dobson took aim at examples Obama cited in asking which Biblical passages should guide public policy – chapters like Leviticus, which Obama said suggests slavery is OK and eating shellfish is an abomination, or Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, “a passage that is so radical that it’s doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application.”

“Folks haven’t been reading their Bibles,” Obama said.

Dobson and Minnery accused Obama of wrongly equating Old Testament texts and dietary codes that no longer apply to Jesus’ teachings in the New Testament.

“I think he’s deliberately distorting the traditional understanding of the Bible to fit his own worldview, his own confused theology,” Dobson said.

“… He is dragging biblical understanding through the gutter.”

Dobson reserved some of his harshest criticism for Obama’s argument that the religiously motivated must frame debates over issues like abortion not just in their own religion’s terms but in arguments accessible to all people.

He said Obama, who supports abortion rights, is trying to govern by the “lowest common denominator of morality,” labeling it “a fruitcake interpretation of the Constitution.”

“Am I required in a democracy to conform my efforts in the political arena to his bloody notion of what is right with regard to the lives of tiny babies?” Dobson said. “What he’s trying to say here is unless everybody agrees, we have no right to fight for what we believe.”
