Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, April 2011

This is going to be a critical month for the budget fight. The Republican House wants to make trillions in cuts over the next ten years and the Democratic wants to keep spending money until the 2012 election. They do not want to cut anything that will make a difference. I think at least until the next election the Democrats are going to win these budget battles and I think in the end the establishment Republicans will go with the Democrats to get a budget passed.

The consequences of that in the 2012 elections is hard to say. But by 2013 cuts will be futile anyway because we will be the midst of an inflationary depression.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, March 2011

It looks like it is going to be an interesting and very unstable year. It is almost like the world has now reached some tipping point and everyone is about to go loony like they did in the late 1930’s and 1940’s. The whole Middle East is now a ticking time bomb. I see no end to the uprisings and turmoil until they make a fatal mistake and unite against Israel.

There very well could be a Sunni Shia war before this all plays out. Of course the U.S. will have to protect its oil lines so it will be supporting the majority Sunni led by Saudi Arabia.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Feb 2011

I have been somewhat under the weather so this monthly perspective will be fairly short. You see a slightly different look on this blog because I am trying to integrate it more with the main website. People coming to this blog often do not know that this blog is only part of a larger website. “The Prophetic Years” is the name of my website so you should now see that named displayed in the middle of the banner along with the blog title above it. If your not seeing that, you will have to clear your browser cache and then do a refresh.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Jan 2011

Last week brought unprecedented spam and hack attacks to this website so I spent many hours since then making this website more secure. I even overdid it on the security because I found out that I was not allowing some valid users access. Yesterday I took out a script that I know was blocking some people from viewing this website. I still retain 3 spam checkers and 3 other powerful security checkers and a .htaccess file that is designed to block most bad robots.

The security I set up might inadvertently still block a few valid viewers but the security is also quite necessary. … continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Dec 2010

I found out yesterday just how fast the web host will take down your blog if it is using a little two much of their resources. I ran a site map tool in order to create a site map to submit to Google. I ran it at the default settings which runs five threads at the same time. I guess it took about three hours to make the sitemap of my website. Sometime shortly thereafter my web host denied service to anyone who wanted to visit this blog.

It took me most of yesterday to get them to get the blog back up.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Nov 2010

It took a number of months but I finally got through going through all my old blog posts and also deleting articles that nobody cares about anymore (as if they ever did). In that process I deleted about 350 posts on this Blog and maybe 100 or so comments died went with them. There all still over 1000 posts on this blog and well over 5000 comments.

I have now search engine optimized every post on this Blog the best I could with the content available. My earlier posts usually just had short comments by me and clips of other articles and there was no meta-data at all so they did not rank well in the search indexes.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues – Oct 2010

I recently drove up to Buffalo NY for an anniversary celebration. Nothing ever much changes in the Buffalo New York area, at least not for the better. The Buffalo Bills still suck, the politicians in NY State still have a slug-fest and roll in the mud all the way to office. The Seneca Indians are still fighting with the state over tobacco taxes. The route 219 expressway extension is still under construction. The weather from September to May is still about the worst in the nation and many people in that area still find their own rationalization to pilfer whatever they can from whoever they can.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, Sept 2010

Another Jewish New Year has come and gone and there has been no Rapture like some have predicted. This false presumption by some has occurred on each Feast of Trumpets since at least 1988. Some date setters will now have to modify their websites once again. There will be a whole lot of people that will have to modify their websites and teachings come the Feast of Trumpets 2012.

People that emphatically claim that they believe Jesus will come on or before that date really should be giving their money to Christian ministries while their is still time since they will not be needing it in two years.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, August 2010

Its already August and time for my second monthly perspectives article. In case you got here by a search engine with a keyword search these perspectives are posted on the World Trends and Bible Prophecy Blog of Don Koenig. There is a category on the side bar and a tag on the bottom of this post that will bring you to prior monthly perspectives.

It now looks like team Obama is about to turn on the simulation money printing machines again. We were told that the stimulus would soon end but it now is evident to even the Obamanable Far Left, that they did not get the high that they were expecting from their 3 trillion dollar stimulus.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues, July 2010

I decided to start a monthly series on my perspectives on world and church issues. Some will have some bearing on end time Bible prophecy.

For those who do not know me and found this post through a search engine. I have had a website called The Prophetic Years for over ten years. For the last three years the site also hosts a Blog named World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy. This blog is where these monthly perspectives are posted along with other posts of interest usually related to the Blog title. I will create a special category on the sidebar for these perspectives so you can find them all in one place.… continue reading
