Donald Trumping up cold fusion so I can declare war on my green hell

I am not going to have much time this week to write new posts because there is one law of nature in the Ozarks that is an absolute. If you do not keep the creeping green hell here in check it will soon take over everything. Those that live in the white hell of a Buffalo winter can only begin to understand the green hell here. There you either keep up with the white hell or you have to wait until spring to find out where you parked your car. But, the green hell of the Ozarks is magnitudes worse. You can’t shovel the green hell out-of-the-way you have to cut it out with machetes, brush hogs, riding mowers, bulldozers or get goats.

The danger of not doing that is thorns that will rip the skin off of your bones, bites by creatures called snakes, ticks, chiggers, gnats, hornets, waspers, flies and mosquitoes. At night you will hear a horrendous roar that will make you believe that the insects are coming to take you away if you do not get inside and bar the doors. Some in the green hell of the Ozarks have seen all kinds of strange things on a moon lit night like trolls that shape-shift into your neighbors, or is it the other way around?

The real point is that you have to start early in the spring to keep the Ozark green hell from closing in on you. If you wait until May the only path out may require a Kevlar full body suit, chain saw, sharp machete, flame throwers and chewing tobacco so you can spit in the snakes eye (that’s why the natives chew around here).

Right now I am already a little behind so I have to get busy. This weekend I got the ridding mower ready for the war but I still have to service the heavy weapons. That includes a Mule 4×4 and a 4×4 tractor with a front loader. I will use this equipment to transport my chemical weapons. First I will attack the biting and stringing infantry with chemical weapons and then I will reload my chemical sprayer with brush and weed killer and get at the root of the problem. I know that even with my heavy weapons I will be losing ground throughout the long summer unless we are blessed with a drought. The only thing that keeps people from completely losing the green war in the Ozarks is winter.

Now that I established my main agenda this week I will ask you to toss around a few ideas. I would like to hear what you think about these two topics.

What do you think of Andrea Rossi’s “cold fusion” claims. I might be more open to the idea of getting something from nothing if he did not have such a shady past. Yet, I have read the articles and even the skeptics observing the process cannot figure out how he is getting a whole lot more energy out of his process then they have observed him putting in. Even after a 18 hour test.

Some think it is all a big fraud but they cannot seem to give any reason how they know it is, other than it seems to violate physics. So someone tell me where the energy produced is coming from if it is not being produced in this reaction? This is not small potatoes because a couple of pilot power plants will go on-line this fall and if that is successful they plan is to start major manufacturing of mini power plants. It would be the end of energy dependence if it were only true.

I am not convinced that what is happening is true cold fusion but obviously something is going on. Whatever Rossi developed it does not look like rocket science, it seems pretty simple and straight forward but obviously Rossi and friends are not giving out the secret that allows them to accomplish their energy show. So what do you think? Is Rossi creating much more energy than he puts in to the process or is all this just an elaborate fraud?

Another perplexing subject that I would like to hear some views on is Donald Trump. I think we all know what an egomaniac Trump is but he is about the only person running for President that is telling people fed up with Obama and his administration what they want to hear. He seems to be telling the Christian right what they want to hear. Trump even claims to be a Christian. He claims to be pro-life, thinks marriage is between a man and a women, he claims to be pro-Israel and anti Islam, he says China is ripping us off, he claims that we can and should develop our own energy resources and get off of foreign energy dependence.

Donald Trump is the only one with the guts to question why Obama is hiding his birth certificate. Trump also points out that Obama’s actions are anti-American. I do not hear the truth coming from the others thinking about running. Everyone else is walking on eggshells afraid they might offend someone in the lamestream media that is hostile against anything that is right or American anyway.

In one poll Trump has actually risen from nowhere to number two just be telling the truth. I would not discount him, they did that with Ross Perot and he actually could have won that election if  someone did not threaten his family and cause him to make a temporary withdrawal. It all makes me wonder why there is no one else bringing up the points that is putting Donald Trump in the race? Many Americans obviously have the same questions about Obama and his policies, or Donald Trump would not be riding the wave. What do you think?

  1. I like what “The Donald” has said so far…can anyone really turn the tide of damage that’s been done to the USA with our pansy liberalism, pacification, ideology & stop the internal mismanagement from within (Washington D.C.) ???

His stance on terrorism & those that want to destroy this country (from within and afar) is by far the best I’ve heard since Ronald Reagan.
He sounds sincere on not caving in to political correctness and doing what needs to be done to protect our country and to get us on track to be a prosperous nation again. He certainly has the credentials to back up his prosperity ideas.

Is it real or is it Memorex (just another good sounding talking head) ?
Hopefully, we’ll find out soon enough.

And, personally, Don…I’d go with the goats : )

  2. Don,

Good luck with your “green hell” battle. My wife and I are leaving here — Colorado — in the morning to check up on our Ozark cabin in the middle of acres of southern Missouri “green hell.” You at least are well armed. All I have in my arsenal, to go into battle with, is a very worn out 5 horse power gas lawn mower propelled by one not-so-young-anymore man. Note, I carefully avoided using the adjective “old”. 😉

  3. Doug, You’re still not too late and If you have a lot of big trees blocking out the undergrowth you have a chance to keep the green hell from advancing on your Ozark cabin.

David the problem with goats among other things is that they jump on your car and Insurance won’t cover the dents

  4. LOL…now that is what I call funny…so Don wouldn’t have the green hell problem but his car would look like hell though : )

  5. If you seen my cars and truck you would know that saying my vehicles look like hell is a understatement even without goats. The car is literally duct taped taped together on the front bumper and the side trim. The paint on the truck has been dropping off about as fast as I can spray it on and one of the shattered windows is taped together. We won’t even get into the mechanics. The other vehicle is our pride and joy but it is 13 years old and always sounds like it is going through its final death rattle.

The real problem I have with goats is that they stink, draw flies and they will not fetch.

  6. You are quite a character Don, I now know for sure that I definitely have the right blog.
The goat solution is real easy…instead of dealing with green hell, you just have to bathe your 15 goats regularly…as far as fetching, just spend more quality time with them…easy : )

  7. So far Trump is looking pretty good, although it’s early yet. But what a contrast that would be. A proven, huge economically successful business icon, with practical, common since solutions, who boldly and brazenly speaks out against countries who are not friendly to us and speaks up for those who are, against the wimpy, ignorant, “Dancing Ditherer”. Even so, it would probably still be a close race. Can you tell I’m fast losing faith in the ability of the majority of Americans to choose wisely? And Don, I feel your pain. I recently retired, moved from the west coast and settled in my home state of Oklahoma. Northeastern Oklahoma. I love all the green and wildlife, but it does need attention. Plus, everything out here can eat you. Survival of the fittest….

  8. Trump must be gaining ground. Both Beck and Obama are attacking him. I think Beck must fear his fellow Mormon, Mitt Romney, will be beaten by Trump and Beck is running interference for him.

  9. Mike,

“Can you tell I’m fast losing faith in the ability of the majority of Americans to choose wisely?”

Call me cynical but after watching why and hearing the reasoning by the peoples pop vote for Clinton, Al-most Gore, & Obama…I’ve long ago, lost faith that Americans will choose wisely. I think the pop vote by most is pretty much “Dancing With The Stars”…not on the issues that matter.

  10. I can’t speak to the nuclear reactor stuff.
I like what I hear from Trump, he does bring some business success with him as opposed to being a community activist or failed baseball owner or career attorney/politician. However, Trump is NYC bred and well connected with wall street and all the banking community. Would Trump do anything that might harm the bankers grip on Americas throat?

  11. Hi Don 🙂

I’ll keep you in prayer as you beat back the “Green Hell.” (Would that be spelled: K-U-D-Z-U ??)

With respect to cold-fusion, I also suspect that something is happening and if the scoffers would set their egos aside for a bit we might discover something interesting and useful. Pride is such a pervasive problem…

I agree that Donald Trump is an egomaniac and I cannot envision myself wanting to work for him. BUT he has made himself a useful foil. It’s a little like this: There were cell phones around for years before the iPhone, but Apple jumps-in and all the sudden the cellphone got invented. This phenomena is frustrating to a lot of people not the least of which are all those who labored hard to lay the groundwork. Oh well, there’s pride again…

  12. Back to cold fusion:

I am not a chemist, but I did work for company headed by a seemingly off center chemist about 30 years ago. (Reflecting back, he may have been demon influenced). He invented a “cold fusion process” to bind carbon and alcohol molecules to produce clean burning, high octane, gasoline.

He was routinely discounted, discredited, and mocked. However, I noticed that a few years later, a BYU professor developed a similar process. I have not followed it to see what commercial application has been made.

The last I heard, he was in a Federal pen. for tax evasion.

  13. When being interrogated by Pilate Jesus said: “Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?” John 18:37,38 KJV.

Polititians after accomodating to everyone all the time come to the same conclusion: What is truth?

All polititians are the same, and Trump is not the exception.

  14. On rare occasions, the Lord blesses this nation with a great “Populist” President. Examples like Andrew Jackson and Theodore Roosevelt come to mind. So, maybe we’re ripe for a new populist leader like “The Donald.” At least the guy has held down a job all his life.

  15. Trump is truthful no matter what else he is or isn’t. The others are all ‘wimps’ or politicians anyway. He has some ‘guts’ among the ‘gutless.’ At this point unless someone else comes out of nowhere I would vote for Trump. I never thought we would have a president worse than Jimmy Carter but the man sitting presently in the white house is evil. Yes, I said ‘evil.’ Not going to mince words here. The only time we are safe with this bozo is when he in on vacation and not msking moronic decisions. Or should I say demonic.

    Peter
