I recently drove up to Buffalo NY for an anniversary celebration. Nothing ever much changes in the Buffalo New York area, at least not for the better. The Buffalo Bills still suck, the politicians in NY State still have a slug-fest and roll in the mud all the way to office. The Seneca Indians are still fighting with the state over tobacco taxes. The route 219 expressway extension is still under construction. Another Jewish New Year has come and gone and there has been no Rapture like some have predicted. This false presumption by some has occurred on each Feast of Trumpets since at least 1988. Some date setters will now have to modify their websites once again. There will be a whole lot of people that will have to modify their websites and teachings come the Feast of Trumpets 2012.

Israel and Bible prophecy in the light of present world realities

I have figured out that I really cannot figure out how end time prophetic events involving Israel will all play out but of course like so many others that write on Bible prophecy that won’t stop me from writing about it.

Probably the main premillennial futurist speculation today is that the war of Ezekiel chapter 38 will take place within a few years but that does not make sense to me in the light of present world realities. Israel is not living in security as it is so clearly stated in the Ezekiel prophecies. The Mahdi 2012 Antichrist is delayed his head got stuck in the well.

Some Bible prophecy teachers and their disciples are looking for some Islamic Antichrist to appear in 2012 and most of them think it will be the Islamic 12th Imam Mahdi figure that Shia religious lore says will ascend out of a well. I think this Antichrist figure should be getting a swelled head by now with all the expectations for him coming from these Bible prophecy teachers. Therefore, their Mahdi figure will never get his swelled head up the well in time for some 2012 Antichrist.

I know Immanuel Velikovsky used the same title for one of his books but most of this generation would not be aware of that. Immanuel Velikovsky wrote several books about catastrophism in Earth’s geological past. His theory of planets in collision gives natural causes for the flood and the other judgments in the Bible. If you reject evolution you might read his books because there is a lot of truth in what he wrote, but even geniuses like Velokosvsky do not get everything right. He certainly did not acknowledge that God also works through supernatural means. The great Islamic world war between Sunni and Shiite Muslims could be God’s answer to the Psalm 83 plan to invade Israel.

Some think Islam is the primary danger to the Western world and even think that Islam will bring the Antichrist against the West. The flaw in their thinking goes beyond correct understanding of Bible prophecy. They gloss over the deep division that exists between the Sunni Muslims and the Shiite Muslims. A house divided will not stand.

I certainly am not a prophet but I believe we are in the final decades just before the Messianic age and Millennial Kingdom of Yeshua. In fact, I think there will only be three more decades. Sometime before the end of that third decade I think Yeshua (Jesus) will have returned to earth to set up His Millennial kingdom.

I am writing this because I think many Christians today have been misled into thinking that everything must take place within this decade. I think it is much more likely that these events will play out over two to three decades.

Fort Hood shootings exposes heroes, sitting ducks and Obama

I pray for the families of all who died as a result of the Fort Hood shootings may God comfort you in your time of great sorrow and loss. I also pray for the wounded. May God heal and and restore you.

I also want to honor all the heroes that were involved in saving others at great risk to themselves. I hope they will be formally honored by our nation as the heroes that they proved to be. Worldviews in Collision

Christians in surveys often do not even have a Christian Worldview. I think this article is a very good summery of the six main worldviews in the world today. There are worldviews other than just these six but these are the six major worldviews on earth today.

Some people teach and are taught and believe different combinations of these worldviews. For example, Humanism and Marxism are often part of a mix because they have overlapping concepts. True Christianity in contrast is in absolutely collision with all other worldviews.

The revived Mediterranean Union will also be the revived Roman Empire

I have been saying that the Mediterranean Union (MU) will be the actual revived Roman Empire and not the EU alignment that we see today because many of the nations in the EU do not belong in the land area of  the old Roman Empire and others that belong in it are missing from the EU. Some have said I am wrong because the MU idea was recently not well received by certain nations. However, that is changing, it looks like Sorkozy’s MU idea will take root after all.

Pakistan is probably going to become the catalyst for the next world war and it will take place within the next decade. The leadership of Pakistan is corrupt and has little popular support. There is now no political remedy that will prevent Islamic radicals from taking over the nation. Islamic militants are now taking over more and more of the countryside and there will be no stopping them by the Pakistani military because the military is already infiltrated and also obsessed with India.

There are other problems with allowing Iran to get nuclear weapons besides the threat of a nuclear strike on Israel. Dr. David Reagan has been receiving attacks on the Internet for his article in Lamplighter that debunked the concept of a Muslim Antichrist. One of the misconceptions of Muslim Antichrist proponents is that Islam is looking for a Mahdi that all Muslims will unite behind. They believe this Mahdi will be the Antichrist and will lead Muslims to fight against Israel and the “Christian” West. Never mind that there really is no Christian West, there is only a pseudo Christian West. There are more true Christians in Communist China than there are in today’s humanistic Europe.
