“Jewish People: Rejected or Beloved”, review by Don Koenig

I recently received a signed complementary copy of the new book “The Jewish People: Rejected or Beloved?“, from Dr. David R. Reagan. After I read the book, I thought it was important to do a book review on my Blog to help get out his message. Others need to get more informed about the history of the Jews and about certain heretical theologies that Christendom has regarding the Jews. This book accomplishes that job.

First, let me say, that Dr. Reagan is the founder of Lamb & Lion Ministries. The ministry has an active website, a TV program called “Christ in Prophecy”, and a magazine named “LAMPLIGHTER”.… continue reading

Many calling themselves Christian join a Revelation Harlot

Most people who claim to be Christians in this postmodern generation say they follow Christ. However, their world views and beliefs display that the Christ that they claim to believe in, is not the Jesus Christ that the Bible defines. These pseudo Christians have worldly humanistic world views. They do not have a biblical Christian worldview. They are usually found on the wrong side of most moral and biblical positions.

Christianity is just a religion that they were brought up in or talked into. They follow teachings of religious men, but do not follow the teachings of God. They do not even know what God said, because they show little interest in learning the Bible at all.… continue reading

Internet ministries don’t get no respect from local churches

The late great comedian Rodney Dangerfield used to set up his brilliant self-deprecation comedy routine with the line I tell ya, “I don’t get no respect”. Dangerfield actually did get a lot of respect from those that appreciated his humor. I suppose independent Christian ministries that write articles on the Internet are respected by some of their readers but generally few get any respect from their local church congregations.

Think about it, people like me often sit in front of computers 250 to 350 hours a month keeping our websites and Blogs going but we don’t get no respect. In fact, we often get just the opposite from Christian pastors or other Christian leaders that think that what we do is not filling some slot in their local pegboard.… continue reading

A few recent interesting emails answered by Don Koenig

Don:
I am studying the feast period between Pentecost, Trumpets and Atonement.  Specifically,  I am presently focusing on the day counts and prophetic implications between Trumpets and Atonement.

Messiah Yeshua fulfilled the Spring feasts to the day.  It seems that the day count ended with Pentecost and that the period between Pentecost and Atonement may be days of years as in the case of Daniel’s 70th week.

There are 10 days between Trumpets and Atonement.  Most expect that Daniel’s 70th week will occur prophetically during these 10 days/years.  Mainstream biblical scholars (pre-trib/millenialists) say that Daniel’s week happens here.

World and Church Trends and Bible Prophecy Perspectives May 2014

As most of you know, I have been doing these monthly perspectives newsletters for a few years now. The title change this month was made to reflect the Blog name rather than my own name. It will continue that way. The newsletters will remain monthly until people that know that they will be going in the Rapture this year send me the million in cash that they will not be needing anymore. I would then hire creative staff to publish daily perspectives about world and church trends and Bible prophecy.

No, this is not a 501c3 tax exempt website and probably never will be.… continue reading

2Th 2:3 and other teachings of Paul indicate pretrib Rapture

Those crusading against the pretribulation Rapture really need to get a life because their arguments do not have a biblical leg to stand on. Every week I get emails or comments from some crusader wanting to inform me that the Bible does not teach a pretrib Rapture. They tell me that my pretrib Rapture teaching will send people to hell, so I need to repent of my teaching or I will be going to hell myself.

They make the unfounded claim that those teaching a pretrib Rapture are leading Christian people to hell because they think that many Christians that were expecting to be taken in the pretrib Rapture will then lose their faith when they find themselves under persecution in the tribulation.… continue reading

It looks to me like the Russians are promoting violence in the cities for an excuse to invade. It certainly looks like Russia intends to move into Eastern Ukraine very soon. Most of the Russian army of any worth is dug in on the Ukraine border and ready to invade if any order comes from Putin. The small Ukrainian army can do little to stop the Russians should they invade. Putin wants another Russian empire and what Putin wants Putin gets. This is just the start of that effort.

The Russian SU-24 buzzing of the USS Donald Cook guided-missile destroyer in the Black Sea gave the message that Obama should not even think of providing any direct military support to the Ukrainian military.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Mar 2014

In my article of Feb 10th, about the coming foreign wars, I said to keep your eyes opened for Russia invading Ukraine after the Olympics. At that time, our State Department was saying that Russia would not invade Ukraine. It should not surprise anyone that this Obama administration would be wrong. They have been wrong on everything.

It was not crystal ball gazing on my part that led me to suggest that Russia would invade Ukraine. Voices in the Russian Congress were telling Putin in early February that he needed to take the ethnic Russian areas of Eastern Ukraine within a few weeks or they would be forever lost to the West.… continue reading

Questions and answers at The Prophetic Years website

The Prophetic Years website gets emails that have questions that often address issues that are not addressed on my website and blog or would not be easy to find if I had addressed these issues somewhere. I have selected five such emails below. I did edit them where appropriate so the senders could remain anonymous and for grammatical and subject clarity.

Question:

I’ll try to be brief: Thanks for you website.  I only wish I had more time to spend in it.  It is hard to find trustworthy information and good study material these days.
I’ve been studying and teaching  a small church adult class in II Peter 2 about false prophets and teachers, needless to say, there are so many forms of false prophets today.… continue reading

In God’s eyes the Roman fourth beast still rules the world

The visions given to Daniel document that there will only be four Gentile world kingdoms from his own time until the Kingdom of the Messiah. The four kingdoms that Daniel saw that were identified with four beasts have been unquestionably identified by reputable historians as Babylon, Medio-Persia, Greek, and the Roman. The Roman is the fourth beast described and last Gentile Kingdom on earth. At the end of the age this kingdom will be destroyed and the earth will be given to the people of God (Daniel 7).

There is no other worldwide Gentile kingdom in scripture between the time of the ancient Roman Empire and the time that the latter-day prince makes a seven-year covenant with Israel at the end of the Gentile age (Dan 9:27).… continue reading

Millennial Kingdom led by Jesus begins within twenty years?

If I could convince people that the Millennial Kingdom led by Jesus begins on earth within twenty years, would they change anything in their life? Keep in mind, that the great trial for everyone living on earth even begins some seven years sooner. First, God will send His two witnesses to first tell the world the truth but the world will hate them and wish to kill them but any harm directed toward them will fall on their own head.

These two prophets of God will have the power to smite the nations as often as they wish (Rev 11:6). That being true, the reality than is that those not in Christ will experience the start of this great trial on earth within the next 10 to 15 years.… continue reading

Blood moon of Joel and Revelation not about eclipses of 2014 2015

The various end time speculations of 2012 never panned out, so it really should not surprise anyone that a replacement theory would now arise in order to sell new hype to people looking for a tribulation that fits their impatient unrealistic schedule. I am talking about the new hype that the blood moons of 2014 and 2015 could fulfill the blood moon talked about by Joel, and Revelation.

Pastor Mark Biltz of Tacoma Washington first came up with the theory and now Pastor John Hagee is running with the ball with his new book, “Four Blood Moons: Something Is About To Change”.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Sep 2013

Just about everything in the news since late August is about the Obama administration plan to carry out an air attack on the Assad government forces in Syria for his alleged use of chemical weapons. Unless there is a terrorist attack on America, the Syrian affair will dominate the news for the entire month whether the U.S. attack is actually carried out or not.

The overwhelming majority of the American people do not want any U.S. attack on Syria. Most Americans are fed up with us intervening in Muslim nations and think we should stay out of the Syrian civil war.… continue reading

Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel of 1217 tips Jack Van Impe on 2017 tribulation

I recently watched two of the latest Jack Van Impe’s TV programs. I probably had not watched his program in almost a decade for a number of reasons. Van Impe fell out of favor with me when he started quoting mystics and pagans to support his end time speculations about how soon the Lord would return. Of course, Jack would always say that he is not setting dates, but then he would go ahead and set an outermost date for the fulfillment of the Rapture. Over the years, Jack Van Impe has proven that he can be wrong on his date speculations.… continue reading

Seventh millennium in two decades, these are the prophetic years

What if you knew that at most you had about a decade left on earth to accomplish whatever you will do in your mortal Christian life. Would you do anything different? I have good reason to believe that we are living in the prophetic years and ten or fifteen years is about all the time that those in Christ have left to work. Even if the Rapture were delayed for more than another decade, at the rate that world societies are decaying and growing openly hostile toward true Christians, we will not be allowed to work much longer to get out the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ anywhere.… continue reading

Koenig’s perspectives on Bible prophecy and world issues Jul 2013

This week the major news headline is the coup in Egypt. Those that oppose an Islamic Fascist theocracy ruling over them got the backing of the military and the military took over the government.

As usual the Obama administration shows every indication that it is on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood. Those in Washington seem to think that a democratically elected leader should serve out their term even if that leader becomes a tyrant forcing a new constitution and Islamic law on everyone. Much of Egypt apparently thought differently.

Egypt still has big problems ahead. The Muslim Brotherhood clerics are stirring up counter reactions against the military as I write.… continue reading

Comet ISON: Harbinger of death of a great nation or World War III?

Update 11/30/13

(Apparently ISON flew too close to the sun and got pretty much destroyed by the great heat and gravitational forces. So, there will be no great show in the sky this December. If there is going to be any harbinger in the sky in the near future, we will have to wait to see what else shows ups. These small icy comets are very unpredictable and more often than not they do not live up to the comet of the century expectations. When or if God sends a real sign it will be spectacular and it will be obvious.)continue reading

Fabian Push For Global Governance Means The Day Of The Lord Is Near

If Christian think that Jesus is going to return in the next two decades, and many of us do, then it should not surprise us that nations will now align and the world will become like the prophets in the Bible foretold about the end days.  In fact, Jesus told us that we are not of darkness that day should come upon us like a thief (1 Th 5:4). If we are to be aware when the Day of the Lord is near, there must be things that are uniquely observable to us Christians before the Day of the Lord arrives.… continue reading

Who and what are the two Beasts of Revelation?

This is one of those posts where I have more questions than answers, so I will be relying on knowledgeable readers of this blog to use their critical thinking skills and their knowledge of the scriptures and their spiritual insights to come up with reasonable answers or even good food for thought.

Mark Levin often says that he has the most intelligent audience in talk radio. Even if that is true, intelligence does not always mean that people have good critical thinking skills. We all know about the educated idiots that obviously have intelligence but continually display that they have no common sense.… continue reading

Global elite believe world turmoil leads to their utopian end

It seems that in Europe and America everyone is living for today. Many nations are spending their future and many people are spending their retirement accounts. It is like eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. Most might not confess to being that fatalistic but that seems to be evident in their choices and lifestyles.

All the national banks are now printing money like there is no tomorrow and if they continue to print excessive money they will ensure that this world economic system will not exist tomorrow. I think the global power elite pulling the strings know where all this will lead.… continue reading
