The “new age” of pagan enlightenment

There is nothing new under the sun. When man thinks he is moving toward new enlightenment he really starts moving back to the same old pre-Christian paganism. We see that happening today in post-Christian society that is starting to look like the pagan barbarism of the past. We are on our way to the “New Age” of pagan enlightenment which really will bring the world into satanic bondage.

Good thinking!

the secular way station

The most recent European outrages seen in the media are just the beginning. Whether it is British schoolchildren being forced to pray to Allah by their teacher, government judges declaring the valid jurisdiction of Talmudic and Shariah law, or the simple breakdown of peaceful, rational society, it is clear that post-Christian society is far more likely to resemble pagan pre-Christian society than it is to develop into the godless vision of an equalitarian, sexually androgynous workers’ paradise so often sold to the masses by secular prophets of one form or another.

It is deeply ironic that those who subscribe most strongly to the ideas of the superiority of scientific evidence and rational materialism should reject both when it comes to examining the available evidence and hoping for the realization of abstract notions that have no basis in the material world. Those who have rejected Christianity and the cultural tradition of the West in favor of secular cultural relativism would do well to bear in mind that the benefits of Western society are not a given and that secular society is not a destination, but merely a way station on the route back to the pagan barbarism of the past.

  1. Just wondering…you’re examples of Pagan Barbarism are only mentioning Shirah Law and Allah…which have nothing to do with the Earth-Based religion. Just wondering if you have any examples of how paganism is bringing the world into “satanic bondage”.

  2. Hi Kelly,

I did not write the article that I quoted. I do not use the term pagan like Wicca does. Paganism to me is all religions, beliefs, and practices that descended from the worship of false Gods first evidenced as an organized opposition to the true God of Heaven at Babylon.

Actually the attributes Islam gives to Allah and the works and appeasement theology of those in Islam is very much like those that worshiped Baal.

A full explanation and many examples of modern paganism are given in an article I wrote.

  3. These atheists think they are wise but to me they are just plain stupid. It is funny that Atheists like Hitchens, Dawkins etc.. bash Christianity but they do not pay attention to the evidence that supports Christianity. The way I understand 2 Peter 3 it talks about in the last days there will be scoffers and those that do not believe that God created the heavens and the earth. Also people will not believe the world wide flood. To me this sound like a rise in a atheistic/humanistic belief system.

I do believe the church has failed in preparing their youth to be able to defend their faith in a humanistic world. I am 19yrs old and graduating from a Christian School this year so I do know the battle that I might have to face in the future. I have seen people that graduated from my school and then they go wild in college. It will be nice if youth groups would have Bible studies on Bible prophecies and doctrine. Also I think they need to trained the youth on how to defend the faith.
