To understand how close America is to the brink you might realize that in just one heartbeat we could be in the midst of the worst American nightmare. The freedom of people in this nation could hinge on the life of President Obama. America is now so polarized that the assassination of a liberal black president could permanently divide this nation.
Let’s face it, there are many that want to see Obama dead and the threat is not just from nut cases on the far Right. There are people who want to bring down the United States and think that a class war and race war will bring that about. The threat of such an attempt from terrorists and enemy foreign agents has to be taken very seriously. I think Obama is also in danger from certain control freaks on the Far left if they see the tide shifting against Obama and the Left controlled government. The end always justifies the means to some who want world socialism.
It does not even matter if the government actually found out who was behind the assassination because many would not believe the truth if they heard it, just like some believe our own government was behind 9/11. You can’t even imagine the conspiracy theories that would surface if Obama was assassinated.
The Secret Service has the worst American nightmare of a job trying to protect the life of such a polarizing President. If I were in charge of the Secret Service I would try to keep Obama away from the public at all costs. More is at stake here than Obama’s own life. The future and freedom of everyone in this nation is at risk.
The consequences of Obama being assassinated would bring the worst American nightmare.
There would be riots in every major city in America.
Martial law would be declared.
The already crippled economy would go into a full fledged depression.
Foreign nations would dump American dollars.
Race relations in America would be a nightmare.
Joe Biden would become a nightmare.
Guns would be ordered confiscated and other constitutional rights taken away.
A huge resistance movement to bring back constitutional rights would forever split the “United States”.
One of the worst nightmares that could happen to America is the assassination of President Obama. I totally agree with Chuck Missler on this issue. Pray for President Obama’s safety. This possibility probably should be included in my Imminent Danger Series of events that could bring America down but I am sure the Secret Service is working overtime trying to make sure this American nightmare never happens.
Unfortunately, there are those on the Left who truly believe that conservatives want Barack Obama dead. There are those who consider Obama-protestors to be a vast conspiracy of insane gun-toting bigots. There are those who believe that this Facebook poll-creator who suggested Obama should be killed is just one representing millions of homicidal right-wing nut jobs. The truth is that all conservatives in their right minds want Barack Obama to live and to live well throughout his entire presidency. The alternative is terrible to imagine.
Conservatives, and especially conservative Christians, should be praying fervently for Barack Obama. Whether or not he is leading well right now, whether or not Americans agree with his policies, whether or not his decisions themselves are good for America, President Obama desperately needs prayer for protection and guidance. His safety is in America’s best interest, and his harm would tear America up from the inside out.
It is hard to pray for a president that does not have the best interests of this country in mind. i question his loyalty to America as well as almost all his policies. i agree that if Obama was assassinated there would be rioting and race wars and that would destabilize the economy even more. on the other hand if nothing happens to him and he gets away with all his far left wing agenda then we will be in similar destabilizing situation. i think we have more important things to worry about than this such as making sure Iran and north Korea do not get nuclear weapons and the missiles to launch them. an EMP over the USA would be far worse than Obama being killed. the best thing we can hope for is God’s continued protection of this nation. it is amazing that we have not had another terrorist attack since 911 considering how open our borders are.
If Obama died in a undeniable accident or heart attack we would still get get the very same agenda from the Far Left that controls Congress and the Executive Branch of government. So the prayer is not for the success of this present administration with their radical agenda of change. The prayer is for the physical protection of Obama because the alternative really would be America’s worse nightmare. Today there still is a real possibility that the people can change the government in 2010 and 2012. We see with the tea parties and marches and polls that many are already disillusioned by Obama and this Congress. Imagine how fed up people will be after three more years. Things are not going to get better under this administration. However, if Obama is killed he will be made a martyr by the Left and the Left will have the power to take full control.
Someone killing Obama would kill any possibility of change through the electoral process because we would then find ourselves under the control of a left wing fascist dictatorship that would soon lead to state secession and civil war.
I do not think any danger is more imminent and more probable within the next three years including an EMP. Nevertheless, we should be proactive and deal with the other dangers like Iran, North Korea, and Islamic terrorism that you mentioned as well because they are serious threats.
I think the possibility of assignation of our President is the most understated threat to our nation and it only takes the act of one person to start a series of events that will bring about America’s worst nightmare. If God really wanted to take his hand of protection off America what better way than to allow this to happen knowing the nation would just self destruct. I am not saying it is going to happen or that it is even likely but pray that it does not happen or you may see how fast a democratic Republic can turn into a police state.
On another blog post I posted a link to a article that had a Russian professor saying that the US will break-up by July of 2010. Do u think it is possible? And if someone assassinated Obama would the US break-up not long afterwards?
I have been saying that I think there could be secession by 2013 if Obama gets re-elected and some heart land states feel they no longer can change things through the election process and they cannot abide by the unconstitutional laws of the Union. If Obama got assassinated it might occur sooner but possibly not for the same reason. Then we might see an almost instant police state.
yes don you are right Obama would just be replaced with biden and the far left would still control everything. It just seems it is not a matter of if something happens that brings America down but when. If nothing happens to Obama then something else will eventually. It seems we would be putting off the inevitable. Maybe I’m just pessimistic.
Something else always eventually happens put putting off disaster is good for those living today if it is in their power to do so. At least certain kings in the Bible thought so and so did a city named Niveveh. I don’t think many in America would tell our military to nuke us because many have become so evil. Yet, anyone who kills the President in today’s political, social and economic climate would be doing something just as destructive. Lets leave judgment in God’s hands and not encourage anyone to fight evil with evil.
This article is dead on…this racist insanity started when I put signs in my front yard…if you are not for Obama, you are a racist. It is crazy, and if anything were to happen to him it would be the start of very ugly times indeed. Iremember watching him during the inauguration and my feeling of dread that he was actually going to be my president was overshadowed by the fear that something might happen to him. I knew the inevitable violent reaction that it would cause. I prayed for him then.
I still believe the crowd in Chicago would have erupted into violent riots if he had not won the election. Crazy times we live in. But its easy to plan such a big todo when you know you are going to win, so at least that cloud had a silver lining.

Hi! Been a long time since I was here… Don, a long time ago–and gratefully, not now! people were bringing up that “fact” of every president who was elected in a year divisible by 4 was assassinated. Whew! fact or not, I thought of our current pres. I do not keep up with the news, but the other day, on TV, it said that Michelle Obama was (of course) descended from a white man. Which reminded me of the “prophesy” that war would begin in the USA once we had elected a president of greek extraction… Maybe if Obama died, it would be time for a woman president? Who knows? Just a rambling thought… I will keep our president in my prayers, and ask others to, as well.

Obama is just a messenger boy & little else. It’s obvious that there is scores of super rich wicked people pulling his strings. I also agree that if (heaven forbid) he was to be assassinated it would not change anything in the geopolitical spectrum.
However, unlike the aftermath of the Kennedy assassination it would trigger some of the worst rioting this country has ever seen since the murder of M L King Jr. The civil unrest would be greatly amplified by millions of legals, many of them concentrated in vicious street gangs throughout thee entire country. Latino gangs that who would ravage it all through their criminal disrespect for the law, the most insane violence America has ever seen.
