By looking at the gains in the stock markets over the last couple of weeks one would think that the European debt crises was resolved. I cannot believe that people are that stupid so I think financial managers are really just gambling that others will bid up the price of stocks based on the recent European agreement. In other words, the 2000 point swings that we are seeing in the stock market in the last couple of months is due to speculators that are gambling on the rise or the fall of the stock markets and not on the fundamentals of the companies that sell stock in the market or the European debt.… continue reading

Christians and Constitutional Conservatives already lost America

I think there is a fundamental error in thinking among Constitutional Conservative Christians in America. Some Conservatives and Bible believing Christians in America think that they can just elect someone and make America back into the basically Christian Constitutional Republic that it once was. Nothing could be further from the truth. A nation gets the leader that God determines that they need or deserve. Constitutional Conservatives and Bible believing Christians have already lost the American Republic. There will have to be nothing short of a moral revolution to get it back and I can prove why.

Afro-Americans that refuse racism show whites their own integrity

As a youth growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s in a blue collar neighborhood on the east side of Buffalo N.Y., that was turning increasingly Afro-American, I know first hand what racism is. I grew up in racism and it was abundantly coming from both sides.

Blacks were not a big problem in the high school that I went to. My big difficultly with blacks in those days was not in school it was walking to and from school. I walked three miles through a black section of Buffalo to get to school and to get home. In my first and second year it was not a problem because I could walk with my two older brothers who happened to have the two biggest guys in the whole school as friends that also walked with us through the black section.… continue reading

The silence on my last post had been rather deafening. The lack of views and response was probably because it was not about the end of the world or politics or the fall of this nation. How many people are still going to websites that were predicting that the Rapture would be on the Feast of Trumpets this year? Well folks, for you pre-trib premillennial Rapture believers the seventy years since 1948 have expired if you add the seven year period that is commonly called the tribulation. We are still here. Those teaching this were wrong.

Its been ten years since the terrorist attack on 9/11/01 and we have been pretty fortunate that there has not been a successful WMD event in all that time. If you would have asked me in 2001, I would have told you that I thought that more mass casualty attacks were inevitable.

The reason they have not happened can be credited to our military and our intelligence agencies and the lack of sophistication of the terrorists. If you remember back in those days we were wondering if Russian built suitcase nukes were available to terrorists. Apparently they were not. The spirit of darkness blinds Americans from seeing the true Light

I hope you do realize that just changing the President in this country is not going to change the direction of this country for the better in any significant way. Political leaders of democratic republics pretty much reflects the inclination of the people that they represent. The latest presidents that we elected in America are just the symptom of the spiritual darkness that is engulfing most of the nation.

American Christians should expect troubles in this world

It is very naive and shortsighted to think that you will escape the type of troubles that have been common to all that lived in the history of the world just because your a Christian living in America. Americans tend to think that the future in America will continue much the same as they have experienced it over their short lives. They tend to think that no great troubles will impact their own generation. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The data that came out today confirms that there has been no economy recovery in the United States. The official unemployment was up and no jobs have been created in the last two months and housing prices are still falling. So what has all this stimulus money bought to the common working stiff? Seems to me that the stimulus just brought more speculation in the financial markets and it put the nation much further into debt. The Government is still projecting 3 percent growth for the rest of the year. But, it won’t happen. They do not have a clue.

At this point in time the government is using smoke and mirrors to pay its debt obligations which are now about $14.5 trillion.… continue reading

I think an analysis of present political realities is in order.

If you are aware of present political realities of today, the news headlines of tomorrow may not come as a complete surprise.

Obama is going to withdraw from Afghanistan but it will take until 2014 to do it. Meanwhile, nothing has changed for the better in that area. In fact, things are growing worse because the war just created more radicals in Pakistan and Afghanistan that hate Americans. So there is no reason to think that these areas will not become terrorist training grounds in the future.

Bashar al-Assad of Syria has killed well over a thousand people in Syria and he is creating quite a humanitarian crises by destroying the towns of people that do not support him and their very livelihoods.… continue reading

Making observations while traveling across America

I just drove out east to Buffalo and back; the whole trip was about 2000 miles and took 34 hours. I spent most of that time listening to conservative talk radio. I found it to be a real disappointment. Almost everything was about Anthony Weiner. Conservatives are not going to win back this country by talking about the sex life of a democratic House member that represents a liberal New York district. They better start talking about important issues and real solutions if they expect conservatives to take back this country in 2013.

I have been saying ever since the green shoots statements that there is not going to be any real recovery under this administration. The last economic news is pretty bleak. Official unemployment from the government is back up to 9.1 percent and real unemployment is double what they report. I read where the average production non supervisory wages are less than $9 an hour in this country. Try supporting your family on that and those are the people who are working. Food prices are way up and both Costco and Wal-Mart have said higher prices are going to have to be passed on.… continue reading

Sarah Palin has a Christian concept of God, and a personal moral agenda, and now, pleasing the mainstream media and the entrenched political establishment in America is obviously not in her political playbook. A country gets the leader the people deserve. Obama was obviously given for America’s destruction. I think the evidence of what he did thus far leaves little room for doubt.  After 2 1/2 years of Obama you would think Americans would have learned something, but that does not seem to be the case. Unless Americans suddenly turn from their evil ways Obama will finish the job given to him.

Rev. David Wilkerson died in a car crash late last month. He was best known nationally for the book “The Cross and the Switchblade”. He was pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. Wilkerson also has warned this nation of coming judgment on this nation for over thirty years. Whether his highly published visions of judgment were actually coming from God like he claimed or just from his own mind because of his fear that God would judge this nation is debatable. (Even Wilkerson said the failed prophecies that he made probably came from his own fears.) It is clear to me that this country is now hopelessly divided and there will be no solution if we do not find a very strong leader that can shock Americans into reality by telling them the unvarnished truth about where the nation is heading and making it clear that the only alternative to his own radical proposals will be social breakdown with riots and even a civil war. We need someone with the communication skills and likability of Ronald Regan and Glenn Beck and the independent resources of someone like Ross Perot. Donald Trumping up cold fusion so I can declare war on my green hell

I am not going to have much time this week to write new posts because there is one law of nature in the Ozarks that is an absolute. If you do not keep the creeping green hell here in check it will soon take over everything. Those that live in the white hell of a Buffalo winter can only begin to understand the green hell here. There you either keep up with the white hell or you have to wait until spring to find out where you parked your car. But, the green hell of the Ozarks is magnitudes worse. This is going to be a critical month for the budget fight. The Republican House wants to make trillions in cuts over the next ten years and the Democratic wants to keep spending money until the 2012 election. They do not want to cut anything that will make a difference. I think at least until the next election the Democrats are going to win these budget battles and I think in the end the establishment Republicans will go with the Democrats to get a budget passed.

The consequences of that in the 2012 elections is hard to say. But by 2013 cuts will be futile anyway because we will be the midst of an inflationary depression.… continue reading

Farah: The House not raising debt limit will insure fiscal calamity!

Sometimes I just have to laugh at the harebrained ideas about how to deal with Obama and our increasing national debt. For example, there is one idea that is now being pushed by Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily (WND). Farah’s solution to save America from fiscal calamity is for the Republican House to not vote to allow any raising of the national debt limit.

At the end of Farah’s various featured articles on this subject, Mr. Farah asks, “where am I going wrong on this? Can someone enlighten me?” Yeah, I will enlighten Mr. Farah because not raising the national debt limit is a recipe for national suicide.… continue reading

The response to the mass murders in Arizona proves how low the Left will go to try to gain political advantage. For days they were blaming the Tea Party and conservative talk shows for inciting Jared Loughner into mass murder without having one shred of evidence that there was any connection at all. The slander against people on the Right from these people would have been called criminal hate speech had anything like this libelous venom come against the Left.
