My Revelation Commentary suggests that there are 10 years from the Rapture of the Church, and the opening of the first seal, until the physical 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (not just 7 years). That ten years may or may not actually turn out to be the case. Even so, in Judaism, there are 10 days of awe where Jews are to repent so that their sins are covered before they appear before God. Some 25 years ago I started The Prophetic Years website with my writing of 25 articles on world trends pointing to the soon return of Jesus Christ. The various world trends all correlated to suggested to me that the Lord would return in the early 2030’s. And because I believe the scriptures teach a pre-trib rapture before the seven seals in Revelation are opened, the rapture of the spirit born Church would occur 7 to 10 years sooner. I believe this should occur by the mid 2020’s.

Obviously the geopolitical situation in the world is now rapidly changing. I think this will continue, because the final stage setting before tribulation events begin to play out is underway. The stage setting will be followed by the rise in Europe of the little horn mentioned by Daniel and the riding of the four horsemen of Revelation. At that time, Gog will also expand its influence in the area of the old Soviet Union.

Globalist totalitarian fascism is progressing across the globe so rapidly that the world will be in an either or situation very soon. Either the world globalizes under the Global Reset program being pushed by the elitists, or this agenda will fail because we will be in a world war in short order.

Could world war be coming in addition to the economic downturn and the coronavirus pandemic? The Spanish Flu killed about three percent of the population on earth and it started during World War I. That flu killed many more people than did the war. One could argue that such happenings are a judgement from God. It does seem that God purges the earth occasionally to keep evil from totally taking it over. I believe the four horsemen of the apocalypse begin their ride before this decade is over. If I am correct, it should not be surprising that the days leading up to those catastrophic Revelation events would not see business as usual on the earth. As you already know, all of a sudden the foundations of the world order are being shaken because of the Wuhan corona virus outbreak. The world seems on the brink of unraveling whether the actual health impact of the coronavirus turns out to be over-hyped or not.

Black swans are unforeseen happenings that come out of nowhere and change the course of events in the world. I think one or more black swans could change the course of the 2020 national election. As things stand now, President Trump would be reelected and the Republicans would gain control of both houses of Congress, but one or more black swans could poop on Republican expectations.

I am not going to make specific predictions for 2020 but I believed we have now arrived to the decade of the Rapture of the Bride of Christ. Shortly after the Rapture the tribulation period will occur followed by the fulfillment of all Bible prophecy related to the second coming of Jesus Christ. I think most of the end times prophecies will be fulfilled in the 2030’s although the four horsemen of Revelation probably will ride in the 2020’s.
I could be wrong about the tribulation starting in the 2020’s, but if I am, I don’t think it will prove to be of much comfort to those living through this decade.… continue reading
One of the great mysteries of the Bible is how the prophecies about Babylon are to be fulfilled. The major prophecies about Babylon are found in Isaiah 13-14 & 47, Jeremiah 50-51 and Revelation 17-18. Most just focus on the Revelation prophecies and ignore the Old Testament prophecies about Babylon. Even so, any prophecies that have not already been fulfilled about Babylon in the OT still must be literally fulfilled.
If you study all the prophecies about Babylon, you should see the parallel in Revelation to what is said in the OT. The OT prophets make it abundantly clear that Babylon is a literal city located on the plains of Shinar.… continue reading
With Iran in the news and acting belligerent, it is appropriate to look at the possibility of the prophecy about Elam being fulfilled soon. Elam is in the southwestern part of Iran along the Persian Gulf. It is where Iran’s main nuclear reactor is located.

It looks like the Ezekiel 38 39 coalition of nations that comes against Israel in these latter days is now being formed. For various reasons I do not believe Gog will pull off this invasion of Israel for a number of years yet. People are acting as if peace has already been achieved between the Korea’s. Some think Trump ought to receive a Nobel Peace Prize. This irrational exuberance is happening just because Kim Jong-un says he will stop the nuclear development program if America agrees not to try to overthrow his regime. People have short memories. North Korea has played America like a fiddle for decades.
It’s pretty obvious why Kim Jong-un announced this. He wants the sanctions lifted and Xi Jinping of China probably convinced him to use the nuclear disarmament card to get others to modernize his nation. We all need to watch and pray because we really do not know how everything will shake out as we near the end of the age. I think a few surprises are in store for us before the great tribulation.
It now looks like Israel and Iran will be going at it. Iran has almost 100,000 troops in Syria and they now are threatening Israel. Israel said they will not allow Iran to establish military bases in Syria but Iran is establishing them anyway. If Iran does not reverse policy, Israel will soon strike Iranian threats in Syria.
