Harlot of Revelation 17 rising with social justice Dominion Theology

The woman seen in Revelation 17 is a worldly religious system. She will ride the Beast/Antichrist into power. If the Antichrist is to appear anytime soon, we first will  need to see this woman influencing much of the world. Are there any indications that this is happening or will happen anytime soon? I think there are.

This Roman woman who John saw, that comes to have so much influence in the world, rises through humanist social justice programs and ecumenism. Many religious leaders are now looking for common ground to unite upon. The together movement is spreading across Christendom. They think religion can realize the kingdom of God on earth through progressive social justice programs.

The Roman Church always believed that its religious system brings the Kingdom of God on earth. The Jesuits were formed to bring the world back under the authority of the Pope. Through Jesuit influence in universities and Liberation Theology, they are well on their way to achieving that goal. Much of Christendom is now following a Jesuit Pope who believes in cultural Marxism.

Many Protestants leaders who kiss up to the Pope are now pushing for unity without regard to doctrinal beliefs. People like Rick Warren have no problem uniting with Catholics and even non-Christian religions for the sake of carrying out his purpose driven social justice programs. Warren claims to have trained 500,000 pastors across the world over the last 20 years. These leaders are now pushing Warren’s globalist PEACE Plan.

Tim Keller is a much followed leader in the reformed camp. He believes the Church needs to save society. Keller is influencing neo-Calvinists leaders in many denominations. Keller believes that churches should be built for the poor and for non believers. In other words, he thinks churches should become community centers. Church leaders should become community organizers.

The very meaning of the Church is an assembly of believers. People in the Church are to gather to be equipped for ministry and to fellowship together. However, Keller and those thinking like him want to make the Church an open campus that transforms society through social justice programs. Keller teaches that the main purpose of salvation is for cultural renewal – salvation is to make the world a better place.

Keller believes the Church has failed to make the gospel attractive to the culture. Therefore, he says non traditional transformational churches are needed. It is ironic that a Calvinist who believes the predestined elect cannot be lost, thinks the Church is not attractive enough to cultures, and that is the reason many people reject churches. Keller’s social gospel comes from human reason. It does not come from scripture.

Much error is spreading across Christendom because Bible colleges and seminaries have been taken over by professors that mix demonic philosophies of men with Christian teaching. Those coming out of these institutions have been indoctrinated with a worldly cultural Marxist evolutionary worldview. Most Christian teaching institutions are now teaching students more of a social justice gospel than the gospel once delivered. Many coming out of these institutions teach a different gospel than the one that Paul taught.

Many churches are being taken over by such people but they have themselves to blame. They should never have hired novices and outsiders to rule over them in the first place. Once a church is taken over by worldly-minded people there is no changing it back. True Christians in it will need to depart.

As many true Christians are becoming aware, it is getting hard to find a church not teaching philosophies of men instead of scriptural truth. It is mostly old pastors of small churches that remain true to God’s word. Most of the big churches with pastor under 70 years old deliver Gnosticism, philosophy, socialism, entertainment and feel good messages.

The new Calvinist’s prove wrong eschatology leads to heresy. They do not believe the prophetic scriptures actually mean what they say, so they twist scripture to fit their incorrect worldview.

Unity is now the big theme coming from the Christian deep state mafia. They have no problem doing away with Christian doctrine to promote unity among denominations and religious. Many of them say doctrine is divisive. They will even unite with those that were separated because of their damnable heresies so that they can claim unity.

Rick Warren, Tim Keller and ilk intend to establish “faith-based” community centers all over the world. They want government, foundations, corporations and private donations to fund their community agenda so that they can bring about social justice on the earth. In other words, they believe they can do what government has failed to do. They believe the collective effort of the Church will bring social justice and paradise on the earth. However, the Bible says that will not happen before the end of the age judgments and the second coming of Christ with his saints.

Those that believe this stuff have Dominion Theology. They think the role of the Church is to build the kingdom of God on earth. They think economic and social equality will be realized through “faith-based” centers and initiatives. These leaders have no problem joining with the world to advance their false concept of the kingdom of God on earth. Even so, by taking funding from government and corporations they also must agree to not preach Christian doctrine. They prostitute the gospel to try to gain a presumptuous premature false kingdom on earth.

The woman in Revelation 17 is seen as being a self-absorbed, self-righteous Harlot full of worldly luxuries. It is a fitting description of where much of Christendom is heading. These all inclusive paths to achieve unity without regard to doctrine lead to Rome. At some point, false teachers in Protestantism will achieve their unity by joining with Rome and her worldly Dominion Theology. Soon after that happens the woman rides the Beast.

At some point I can even see a Papal social justice Harlot ostracizing and persecuting Christians that oppose her agenda. They actually will think that they are doing God a favor by killing those that oppose the Roman “kingdom of God”.

I can see this kingdom of God movement really catching fire after the crash that is coming because of world war and world debt. People already no longer trust central governments and they certainly do not trust corporations. About the only thing left to trust in, will be their religion. That also will also turn out to be a false hope. After religion fails, they will hope in the supernatural Antichrist.

That is where we are heading. What we now see in much of Christendom is the making of the Harlot who claims a relationship with God but is obsessed with herself and with worldly things. This pseudo Christianity social justice Harlot will also fail to deliver what her leaders promise. Scripture indicates that government leaders will come to hate the Harlot. As the Antichrist rises, the kings of the earth burn this religious Harlot with fire.

As we see the religious Harlot rising across the world, we can know that the Antichrist will not be far behind. We can recognize the Harlot by her love of humanist worldly programs and her call for unity without regard to biblical truth. The great commission for the Church was to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. It was not to take the world for God by a false gospel of egalitarianism and Kingdom Now Theology.

The next great movement in the world will be the “unity/together” movement, but don’t be deceived. The Roman Pope is not the vicar of Christ on earth. And the religions leaders that are now rising are not any more godly than were the religious leaders that crucified Christ.

Harlot of Revelation 17 rising with social justice Dominion Theology — 20 Comments

  1. The Catholic church is the great whore, the woman who rides the beast. I suggest you read Dave Hunts book, a woman rides the Beast. The woman has been riding the beast for centuries. A truly corrupt filthy organization that calls itself mother church. It will encompass all other religions under its umbrella. An evil organization absorbing all the other Churches. Just like Hell’s Angels simply patched over other motorcycle clubs branding them their own.

The great whore has been here for thousands of years. Satan knew he couldn’t destroy the church so he took it over instead. The Satanic agenda is in full flower. How much longer? No one knows but Christ. I leave you with John 16:33
Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

  2. I can say with confidence the article above is true 100%… Sts. Cyril & Methodius & St. Raphael RCC church in manhattan that iv been attending in previous years is nothing but an entertainment center(i havent been there in 5 years)yay… anyway i never heard the pastor talk about any prophecies at all from the bible its always the same thing like prayer… then another prayer to the vigrin mary and so on. One day 10 years ago i walked in and at the entrance were magazines with george w bush on them with an alien face saying that he is an alien? i was in disbelief that a church would let nonsense like this into its doors.

Then after the mass everybody would go back in the entertainment center and drink alcohol, coffee, etc. where people would show of their new car, brag about how much money they made or what kind of new car they came with.. now looking back im just amazed that i actually attended that church. And to this day they still send letters to my house asking for donations… wow

  3. Hi Klaus,

I have read Dave Hunt’s book and I agree with it and highly recommend it. The Roman Church is the Harlot of Revelation 17 and in the name of unity others in pseudo Christianity will join with Rome in these last days.

  4. I recently attended a funeral visitation at a Catholic Church and saw a sign on the Church foyer door (and another stenciled on the wall) that said “to Jesus through Mary”. I almost vomited!!

  5. andrews,

it seems its all about mary to the catholic church, thank god im finally waking up to the truth

  6. I used to go to a church here in my area until one of the pastors left to join Saddleback church. I found this out one Sunday when he came back as a guest speaker. The church does many good things, but the sermons seemed more like self help seminars. It also has several campuses in and around the area, which is Saddleback-esque.

  7. I just read an article about Covenant Church in Dallas paying off the medical debt for over 4,000 veterans and their families. The total came to around to 10 million dollars. The pastor was quoted saying “We want to show the community what it means to be a Christian before they come to church, not afterwards.”

Responses to this story were along the lines of ‘Finally, a church that is doing what it is supposed to do.”

Is that so? I’m not against helping veterans but the reality is that folks don’t know what a church is supposed to do. It shouldn’t be difficult for Rome to swallow up churches and people who think being a Christian is just doing good works as a charity organization.

  8. Hi Don,

Right after I read your article today, someone shared a link on my Twitter feed about a man named Landon Gerry. The article was called, “Progressive Believer Ensures Survival Of Christianity By Denying Every Major Christian Doctrine.” This is exactly what you described in your article.

Thanks for all that you do!
    Heather

  9. Another solid post Don.

I agree that it seems that the leadership of the Roman Catholic Church will play a sizable role in the great apostasy of the overall Christian Church. However, in the bigger picture, the “notorious prostitute who sits on many waters” in Revelation 17 is shown to be riding a beast with 7 heads. At the time of the writing, 5 heads had fallen, one is and one was to come. This shows that the anti-God forces of the great whore are much greater and larger than just the Roman Catholics and their often wrong theology.

I see apostate (cultural) Christianity, as generally led by the joint forces of RCC & the cultural driven churches (as you so clearly illustrated above), as being one of the heads. I estimate today they comprise about 1 billion people. The other 5.5 billion non-Christians – the six other heads – come from the other major false religions in the world. Add in the Muslims, the Hindus, the Folk Religionists, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists and you have a fuller picture of the great whore’s total portfolio. All of whom are against Christ (especially the one that was to come – the anti-Christ designed religion of Islam).

Brother Don, do keep up the great work of illuminating the evil rising in our fallen world.

    Maranatha!

  10. Hi Fount,

I think John was shown the future. He saw the Church age and then what follows until the seconding coming. The heads are not latter day religions they are seven world empires. The Whore of Babylon is satanic religion that claims a relationship with God but actually follows the god of the satanic world system (Satan). She has existed since Babylon and is seen in all of the seven heads.

Even so, from the time of John until the end of the age the whore is seen in apostate Abrahamic religions. That is why the woman is seen as a Harlot. In the last days all such religions will join with Rome. The Antichrist on the other hand, will be rode in by the harlot but he will turn on her and claim that man is divine. Then the polytheism and pantheism coming from the East and the New Age will rule on earth until Jesus returns.

  11. So Don,
If the Antichrist turns on the Harlot, presumably the Catholic Church, then the false prophet would most likely be someone other than the Pope right? I guess unless the Pope separates himself from Catholicism and becomes the proponent of the Antichrist/Humanism? Or actually is the Antichrist himself.

  12. Hi Steve,

The Pope might say the Antichrist is the Christ and turn on Catholics that will not follow him. Even this Pope seems to be Anti-Catholic in some ways, but I think he is too old so it probably will not be him. Having said that, I think the False Prophet will probably be someone out of Eastern religions or New Age. The Catholics do have prophecies from mystics saying the Pope will have to flee a burning Rome just before the great chastisement comes on earth.

  13. “Keller believes the Church has failed to make the gospel attractive to the culture.” How tragic. Jesus said that we are as sheep among wolves.“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” “Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.” The church will NEVER be popular with the prevailing culture. Apart from the blood-bought church, there is no salt or light. Do we really want to accommodate ourselves to the standards of a dead, deceived culture? We are not to merge with it, but be separate from it. Not cloistered, but separate. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings life and immortality. WOW! Start there, and good works will flow from that; let us never believe that the cart will pull the horse.

  14. Hi Don and readers: After reading your latest article, I clicked on ‘Together’. Since I live in Central America, this is a new thing for me. They seem to be appealing to the present political divide with words such as, ‘radical middle’and (of course) appealing to youth with words like, ‘On the Move’,etc. They ask the question: “What if we moved closer to Jesus and the world around us?” But what does this mean? Does it mean they want people to move closer to God’s written Word? I noticed that they draw on images from the 70’s – Christian music and praise concerts from that period. Is this meant to ‘dis-arm’ us? Finally, this “together Generation” seems desirous to appeal to those of us from the “Pepsi Generation”! Comments please. Thanks,Kevin.

  15. Hi Kevin,

The problem is that the Jesus they want to get together around is not necessarily the Jesus found in the Bible. If their Jesus does not teach what He and the prophets and apostles taught, their Jesus is not the Jesus sent by God at all. In this unity movement too often Jesus is a figure that people make up in their own minds. Just as God is the God of their own mind. You can’t have unity in Christ with people that do not know or believe Christian doctrine. Believers cannot have unity with those claiming Jesus but are not born of the Spirit. If they do not believe salvation comes from grace through faith in God’s sacrifice for sin, they are not saved at all.

There also was a song of the 70’s called “hooked on a feeling” that applies. Love for others is not a feeling people work up by just claiming love. Love is a commitment we make to each other that is based in knowledge and trust.

  16. Don,

    “worldly cultural Marxist evolutionary worldview”

Could you better explain what this world view in bullet points?
They think like this or they do this or they support these orginzations?

  17. “It is ironic that a Calvinist who believes the predestined elect cannot be lost, thinks the Church is not attractive enough to cultures, and that is the reason many people reject churches.“

I am skeptical that he is saved, and I am a Calvinist. I’ve been leery of him since 2013.

  18. Don. Thanks for your response to my note. Your comments underline the fact that true Christians need to be extremely careful about what is presented to us. A quick story, if I may: Even though I came to Christ as a teenager (in the mid 70’s), in the mid 80’s I began to ‘dabble’ in New Age. God used a faithful Christian friend to bring me back to my ‘senses’- scary time! A line from the British rockers (The Who) say’s it all -…”we won’t get fooled again”!
It’s not like the N.T. doesn’t warn us. Amazingly, even in the N.T. church, there were those trying to cook-up false teaching, devoid of Christ’s atoning blood.
BTW, I’d like to add my agreement to Dave Hunt’s, “A Woman Rides the Beast”. I concur it’s possibly his best work – detailing the history of the Roman Catholic Church. It’s definitely an ‘eyepopping’account – yikkes! Thanks for your continuing ministry here, Don. Kevin
